Please install fridges in the rooms.

I’ve read all the reviews, most of them are positive but we struggled to find many positives. I booked superior rooms and we ended up upstairs in small rooms, our friends who booked a standard room were downstairs in a much bigger room? There were no fridges in the rooms and in a climate like this a fridge is a basic, expecting people to share a fridge downstairs isn’t reasonable. There was no tv, no handrail at the top of the stairs for safety and when we asked for pool towels we were offered 1 towel for 5 people, eventually we were offered 2 more, apparently they were all away at the laundry. After the first night 4 couples left moving to somewhere that offered at least the basics. Satya is in a central position that’s good but charging a little more and giving people a fridge would be a very good idea.

Simply amazing!

Our stay was amazing! We were treated in the most superb manner. The whole team were amazing! We will surely stay at Satya House again.

Great location in the center of UBUD, access majoy sites, shops and access to taxis. Pool was amazing after a long day in the sun. Surprised how quiet it was considering we were right off the main road. Great price, amazing breakfast and coffee.

Staff are great, east facing so very hot in the morning, central location.

Every thing good Child crying was annoying at times good pool. Bali coffee was disappointing Opted for ness cafe. Pancakes good

The Satya house has beautiful gardens and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Outside each room there is a reception area with chairs and table, so we can sit and admire the garden and listen to the birds. there is a lovely swimming pool. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, temples, market, etc. Staff are kind and the Breakfast was nice I highly recommend The Satya house

Very good place. Lovely family, great location. Very clean and organised amenities. The shower is amazing and nice breakfast. Totally recommend!

Our stay was AMAZING! Check-in was easy, the room was immaculate, and staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast each morning to start our day and the pancakes and fresh fruit were a smash hit! Thank you for the warm hospitality and for going above and beyond. We felt like we were staying with family and loved every minute of it.

Wonderful hidden gem.

A fabulous little property, superbly located and close to everything .Multiple dining options close by. Staff were faultless. If I had anything that may be an issue for some.The beds are quite firm but I had no issue sleeping.

A lovely, quiet traditional(older part) and modern (new construction) in a beautiful garden right off a busy street! I’ve stayed here twice… simple, affordable and comfortable. No frills.

Clean and quiet place. The room I got doesn’t get much natural light as the windows are tiny (on the wall near the ceiling) but the lights, once switched on are bright. Air cond is cold, shower/toilet is clean and basic. There is hot water and water pressure is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would be great to have a working power point next to the bed - some maintenance needed on this. Only other power point available and that worked is the one for the night lamp but that’s right by the door and not close to the bed.

Central Ubud

Perfect location, plenty of cafes and restaurants just outside this accommodation. Yet it's very quiet as the property is going deep inside behind the main road. For the price they charge, it's good value, clean room, pool and breakfast.

Our staff at Satya House was nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. Included breakfast was a nice touch. Room was good enough for what we needed and in a good, walkable location.

Quiet and comfortable

The staff was amazing when we arrived. The asked to give them a few minutes to prepare the room ant it was worth it. We stayed in a room with a great view of the pool. The hotel is quiet and very comfortable. I recommend this wonderland place.

It was a very nice place to stay, very nice staff. We had a room that had air conditioning but not remote to turn it on. Turns out for air Conditioning we would need to pay an extra $5 per night. We were not impressed but it was too hot not to have it so we paid the money.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great- near lots of restaurants, bars and a supermarket nearby. The monkey forest is close too. The only negatives were the water pressure in the tap - a tiny trickle and the rooster which liked to make noise in the night- bring good earplugs! Overall happy with my stay.
