I only stayed in the hotel for 1 hour. I was very surprised as this hotel has very good ratings. I was given a standard room with a city view although I booked a deluxe Mountain View panorama view. The room was incredibly dusty and dirty. When I flushed the toilet the floor filled with water. Finally, when unpacking I found 3 cockroaches climbing over my belongings. I left to check into Amazing Sapa Hotel. The staff was very efficient in refunding me.
The staff was so friendly and spoke english, gave us really good recommendations. Rooms were good, one was very small compared to the other. It was very clean! Would recommend if only staying for 1-2 nights! The view would have been amazing if the weather was nice! Would totally recommend this hotel!
Really friendly staffs who can converse well in english.
Very good stay for a couple of nights. We came back from trekking and needed a shower before getting back on the bus. The staff gave us fresh towels and we could shower in the hotel.
Hotel location and staff
The staff was really nice and held put stuff while we explored Sapa before and after check in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location and very quiet in the room.
Great stay and location
Upon arrival staff were very helpful and got us checked in as soon as possible. The rooms were clean, and had all the amenities all organized and labelled. The location was pretty much in the centre of Sapa Village so getting around was easy. I would definitely book a again!
Could have done better by having different foods for breakfast. Keep up to date with the correct room images of the hotel bedrooms. Great mountainous view for dining during the day.
Good view
Location is good, near Sun Plaza and stone church. Our room had a good view.
Our stay was excellent!! The staff, breakfast and amenities were all wonderful. Would highly recommend. So convenient that there is a shower downstairs to use if you arrive early from Sapa or are leaving late to go to Sapa.
Come here
Great time
Spectacular views
Our stay at the Sapa Panorama Hotel was fantastic, great location, shop at the base and beside great value for buying trekking clothing and shoes. Staff were so lovely, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Massage was great after a day of trekking in the mountains. Breakfast was plentiful, with great variety, we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - enjoying the views of the mountains. We loved Sapa and would recommend this hotel to others xx
This place is awesome! The room was just fabulous and exactly as shown, beds were great, great air conditioning, nice cold fridge, good shower and beautiful views from the balcony. The food was fabulous too and the staff were amazing!! Wish we had stayed longer!! If you're going to Sapa stay here!!!
Do give it a miss if you can't climb up the stairs
The description on the Hotels website is incorrect. I have booked a superior with mountain view but ended up a room without view. According to the hotel receptionist, only deluxe room has mountain view. This website is misleading the customers with incorrect information. Do take note that you need to walk up a flight of stairs as no car / taxi is allowed to drive up to the lobby. It was very inconvenient for the old people with poor mobility.
Central to city and good location. Good helpful service.
Nice hotel in heart of the town
Very good staff and very accommodating. Our train from Hanoi arrived early, we weren’t able to check in straight away however they have showers available for use and storage facilities which is a great idea. The view from the balcony was amazing. Will stay again. Tip - book the shuttle bus from the train station to the hotel in advance.
Excellent
Great location. Lovey staff
It was clean enough and close to all the tour start points. The staff were nice and friendly and the food was good. It was a good hotel for the money that you pay. The only downfall was that you have to take your suitcase up some stairs when you get there since the hotel is in an alley that goes up a small hill though stairs.
Amazingly pleasant and helpful staff!
Amazing place. Great rooms-really pleasant and clean and roomy. Views of the mountains fabulous. Nice amenities in room-food and drink. Perfect location-out of fthe hustle but close to Minority Market and good food/coffee spots. Biggest plus-the staff are amazing. Pleasant. Helpful. Engaging. Highly rated and would stay again if we return to Sapa.
We booked the Deluxe Balcony Room which states on hotels.com that it has a mountain view. When we reached, the staff insisted that we did not book one with mountain view. We liase with hotels.com thereafter and noted that the hotel has mistakenly written the wrong description on their website. As they are at full capacity, they were unable to provide for any change of room and no further service recovery was provided. We booked a private car who will fetch us to and fro Fansipan cable car. We told the driver to be there at 6pm but we waited for 10 mins and no one came to fetch us. Overall, a very disappointing experience with the hotel.
Best hotel I've stayed at in ages
They were so accommodating, arrived at 4am and the guy let me have a shower & a bed until I could check in. The breakfast was really good and the staff spoke good English ! The rooms were good too, comfy bed, great shower with hot water, clean and spacious. Also very quiet room with no street noise ! I have nothing at all to complain about for once. HIGHLY recommend this hotel !!!
Basic hotel with a Fantastic view
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. All conversant in English. View from the balcony was fantastic and that's primarily the reason why I chose this hotel. We spent alot of our time sitting in the balcony in the morning and at night when we are back. There are not much toiletries provided. Only shampoo, soap and a bath towel each. Thankfully we had our own toiletries or you can easily buy whatever you need in the supermarkets nearby. An easy way to go down to the main road is to take the lift down to the 1st floor and walk down the stairs and you are smack where all the shops and restaurants are. Breakfast is simple and they try to change 1 -2 items so it's not the same. We only had breakfast once there but I suppose for the price we are paying, we shouldn't be expecting too much. The only thing that I think they really need to improve on is the intermittent hot and cold water in the shower. It turns cold for a long while and it makes showering very unpleasant, I couldn't get myself to wash my hair there. So what we did to overcome this problem when we had to wash our hair (thank goodness we decided to wash only twice in our 3 days there) was to book ourselves for spa packages in other hotels so we could shower and wash our hair.
Great place to stay!
We stayed there for 3 nights. Apart from the damp that caused by the humidity this place is amazing. The staff are always happy to help you, great breakfast buffet, and the rooms are really nice. Bathroom was so cool and cozy. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Our Sapa Trip
Lovely hotel - we had Deluxe Balcony Room. Great location, excellent staff.
EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEW
BREAKFAST IS BASIC BUT GOOD WITH VERY GOOD COFFEE. MY WIFE AND I WERE WARMLY RECEIVED AT THE HOTEL, I TOLD THEM I PAID 250k VDN FOR OUR RIDE FROM LAO CAI TRAIN STATION WHICH SHOULD BE 100K VDN FOR TWO PERSONS. THEY OFFER TO GIVE US A RIDE FOR FREE....TO LAO CAI TRAIN STATION FOR FREE. THIS IS EXCELLENT SERVICE!! THANKS TO FLOOR MANAGER WHICH SADLY I FORGET TO ASK HIS NAME. EVERY STAFFS ARE ALSO VERY FRIENDLY AND WARM WHICH MAKES ME FEEL VERY AT HOME AND SAFE, YOU FEEL MORE LIKE FRIENDS AND NOT CUSTOMER. SO YOU SHOULD STAY IN THIS HOTEL TO EXPERIENCE YOUSELF THEIR WARM HOSPITALITY. MY WIFE AND I ENJOYED THE VIEW VERY MUCH. WE DID A DAY TREKKING TO TA VAN VILLAGE WITH OUR GUIDE MAY, SHE IS A ETHENIC MINORITY WITH EXCELLENT ENGLISH SKILL. SHE IS A VERY VERY GOOD GUIDE, SHE ALLOWS US TO EXPERIENCE THE REAL LIFE OF ETHENIC GROUPS IN THE MOUNTAIN VALLEY AND THE VIEW IS EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL. WE COULD NOT HAVE ENOUGH OF SAPA AND ALREADY WANT TO COME BACK FOR THE VIEWS, EXPERIENCES AND WARM AND REAL PEOPLE OF SAPA. HOTEL IS NEAR THE TOWN AND YOU CAN ENJOY SOME FOOD IN THE RESTAURANTS NEARBY, DON'T FORGET TO TRY GRILLED PORK.
Well set up for those hiking near SAPA
Really nice hotel. Staff helpful and the set up to hold luggage while hiking even after your stay and then provide showering and clean up facilities on return even if departing that evening was awesome. They will hire you and private day room if they have availability but often fully booked on weekends so not always possible. Family friendly and they can organise local guides for hiking and home stays for you also (always good to book in advance during peak seasons.
Was cold and foggy most of the time. Would recommend visiting in warmer months. Still really enjoyed out time in Sapa.
Stay for the view
You need to book the rooms on floor 6 or 7 for this hotel to be worthwhile, because the view is the main attraction. The breakfast is below average. The staff were nice and let us check in early, much appreciated. The main issue is the management - they have an area in the lobby for you to leave your luggage overnight while trekking. It's unlocked and the staff leave it unattended. There is a room on level 1 that is supposed to be "safe storage", but we also saw that unlocked and unattended. Worst is that they let a group of kids (that seem to belong to the owner) run completely out of control in the lobby and staircase area, yelling and screaming like lunatics. Not the serene mountain experience you'd hope for. The reception staff just stands there, clearly afraid to ask the kids to behave. They also let guests smoke inside. Gross
Disappointing Hotel in Sapa
This is a poor and rural area, so perhaps I was expecting too much. But we had problems with hot water, lack of towels, no toiletries, and so on. It was cheap, but you don't get much other than a nice view.
Great hotel
Sapa Panorama is a nice hotel, especially if you are on the 5th floor or higher in one of the view rooms. This is one of the nicest hotels in Sapa. The good: hotel has beautiful views, rooms are nice breakfast is wonderful, location is central to everything Sapa has to offer The bad: hotel staff is not overly accommodating The ugly; none
Great service, amazing views.
This was a good hotel in a convenient location in what is a very small town. The rooms were well looked after, with small balconies, and some amazing views. The hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly helpful, and always willing to accommodate requests.
Worth paying more for a room with a view!
We stayed here as a group whilst taking part in the Vietnam Mountain Marathon. Great location in the centre of town, stunning views from the more expensive rooms (totally worth it), and really friendly & helpful staff on reception. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. They can also arrange cheap transfers back across the valley for the train to Hanoi if you need (US$3 only)
Lovely break in the mountains.
We had a lovely time here, the food was good and the staff extremely helpful and organisms treks for us or even a tour of our own. Beautiful town..not much to do other than trek but if that's what your after then this is ur place. Amazing view form restaurant....ask for a room of floor 6 or 7 for a view of the town and mountains.
Great hotel and great personel
The hotel is located at the very top of Sapa town, which gives you the film view og the city and valley. The personel is very friendly and the room was really comfortable. The only downside to the hotel was that the walls wasn’t soundproof.
Would stay here again!
The staff was very service minded and wanted to give us the best experience during our stay. We booked tours and our journey back to Hanoi through the hotel! The view from the hotel balcony was amazing with the surrounding mountains.
prima hotel
Bel hôtel a Sa Pa
Good view and comfortable room
Good food , good view and nice room but It's noisy with motorbike .

Subliem hotel met perfecte locatie
Arriveerde met de nachttrein; dus heel vroeg. Kon tegen geringe vergoeding (3 US $) het ontbijt gebruiken. Mooi balkon; alles werkelijk perfect.

Great Staff, Great Location!
While we were only staying one night, the staff not only allowed us to check in hours early, but also upgraded our room! Everyone was so kind and friendly, the room was great with a nice view overlooking the town and mountains.
