The staff was amazing - always trying to assist with whatever you need. The breakfast was delicious - more like a buffet with a selection of meats, breads, soups, vegetables, eggs, fruits… I visited when it was foggy but I did get a glimpse of the beautiful view from the hotel. The location is very good, only 500m or so from all the restaurants and the train to fasipan. The only negative is that the hotel is currently under renovation so there’s a draft making the room cold. I really wanted to try their spa service as well but it was closed during my stay.
Gorgeous view of fanisipan and gondola from room which was the reason for this second stay. AC wasn't working first 2 days so room was a bit smelly. Staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I would back again.
Great stay
My hubby & I stayed in this hotel on 22 June 2018. Views (Fanzipan mountain, clouds, rice terrains) from the room balcony is marvellous. The room is clean, spacious, comfortable and the towels have nice fragrance (1st encounter in all the hotels I have ever stayed). Receptionist Miss Thi Ha is very professional, friendly and polite. They are able to help arrange transport from Lao Cai station to the hotel on last minute call which is excellent. The breakfast spread is good and delectable. Staffs serving the breakfast or in the lobby are friendly and polite too. Hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, massage places, pubs and weekwnd night market where the tribal villagers sell their handmade handicrafts here. Sapa is a very beautiful place to trek and relax and weather is cool.
Awesome hotel staffs!
When we arrive at the hotel, we were given welcome drink. Hotel staff offer to gave us earlier check-in with no extra charges at around 11am (2pm check-in) as we arrive quite early in the morning. Everything was good just that the room there are a few insects around the corner or so. During our stay, we purchase our cablecar tickets to fansipan, rent motorbike from the hotel and also ask them to help us book a bus from Sapa to Hanoi when we were checking-out. Hotel staffs is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall this is a good place to stay.
Mixed experience
This newish hotel has great potential but misses the mark in a few areas. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and our family suite was spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms are particularly good. We chose this hotel specifically for the beautiful view it affords across to the mountains. On the basis of frequent recommendations we had, months in advance, requested a higher floor to give the feeling you are right up in the mountains. Sadly on our arrival we were given the lowest family suite available which, although giving a good view, also sat right above the ? Kitchen roof which is actually below street level and in the morning had an horrific garlicky smell, clearly from the breakfast preparations. It was also very noisy probably for the same reasons. The breakfast was extremely disappointing, many items being almost depleted at 7.30am although there was an omelette station constantly on the go which was a life saver as the bread was stale and what we did eat was extremely bland. Initially wifi was extremely sketchy but this was remedied after a phone call. In the hotels defence we arrived on a very busy holiday and I suspect resources were pretty stretched Given the facilities I do think the place is worth a visit and hope you get an paper floor
Good place to stay.
Breakfast really limited choices but good enough
The Mountain View room isn’t very great. Very loud during the day due to construction. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high.
Hotel view
Received upgrade room at no cost.well located for view of mountain and easy access to food and drink.
Worth your buck
quiet and spacious room. nice view of the mountains and cat ba village. however food and drinks, minimarkets are sparse in this area.
Water faucets of bathroom did not function well. However Mountain View is excellent.
Excellent
This hotel is great and good value for the price. The only drawback is the construction noise in the area, however it's hard to help that - there is a lot of construction in Sapa at the moment.
Very good
Enjoyed this hotel a lot. The staff can be a bit slow to facilitate requests, though I think we may have been used to the big cities and things running much more smoothly. The hotel was wonderful though. Perfect location, nice rooms, good value, and amazing views. Would highly recommend! Just leave a bit of extra time if needing a taxi or checking in/out
Great location, great staff
Older building but comfortable stay. Room nice and big with great views. Front staff friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast great but always missed a few items of what wr ordered. Loud owners and guests on our first evening, making a lot of noise that we couldn't sleep. Manager couldn't really do much.
Economical choice with breathtaking view
Locating 5-10 mins walk from the very centre of the sapa town but still a variety of restaurant, souvenir shops and tourists agencies close by. Being at the edge of the sapa town there is the breathtaking view from the balcony of the room, which I believe is what most of the visitors came to enjoy. Room is clean and tidy with consistent hot water supply in the shower. A decent breakfast was included.
Top
Room was very clean and staff was very friendly and always helpful
I stayed at Mountain view room and it was amazing. Calm and peace and beautiful place. However, the breakfast is not enough good for my expectation.

This hotel is in renovation. Do not book until those renovations are done.( I would say 2024). We were given a room that was on the top floor, had a great view, but was unfinished!!( Of course no other rooms were available)The phone was there but did not work, the internet was either weak or most of the time useless, the hot water was lukewarm at best ( and hence using only that, the pressure was definitely not there to wash my hair..), so impossible to take a bath in the beautiful tub beside the window. The pool is closed and the rooftop restaurant is non existent. Dogs bark their head off around 5am, so, with an un-finished whole in the bathroom wall above the fan, that's when your day will start.... I am a very positive person, but this, I am sorry, was unacceptable... Wait until 2024.
