Fantastic location. Quiet, well appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful check in staff. Good breakfast with lots of options. My daughter celebrated a birthday while staying at the hotel and they surprised her with a small cake at breakfast, making it a special stay.

I really appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the politeness and professionalism of the staff — both were excellent throughout my stay. However, a couple of things could be improved. Room service took over an hour, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, I was uncomfortable to see a guest inappropriately undressed in the pool area, which I feel should have been addressed by staff for the comfort of all guests.

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The quality of the staff's training must be outstanding as all staff was very attentive and responsive to any questions or demands. It is refreshing to hear that the culture is so supportive that everyone is happy working at this hotel. The attention to detail in the room service and at breakfast was exceptional, with a truly indulgent choice of quality products at the breakfast and wonderful fresh flower arrangements. This is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of Vienna, we will certainly return.

From the moment we entered the hotel, the standard of service was exceptional. You were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. When an Uber ride failed to turn up for a show we had booked, the hotel staff were able to get us a taxi in 3 minutes so we still made it on time The food was of the highest level and always professionally presented by staff whose flair for detail showed through. Special thanks to Jennifer, Tomas and Emran who treated us so well and made us feel at home. We enjoyed our daily chats with them .the champagne breakfast gave that luxury feel. The room was always very clean and had everything you needed. The welcome box of chocolates was a thoughtful touch. The in house spa was a welcome retreat to soothe aching legs after long days of sight seeing. The only thing we didn't like was leaving to come home.

Fantastic stay

We enjoyed a lovely stay. The staff were all fantastic, the breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, the evening meals were also delicious. The spa is nice, shame that some guests don’t read the rules to allow others to enjoy the place (maybe they should be put up outside the spa entrance). The room was beautiful with lovely bedding. Location for us was great too, just outside but a very short way to the centre. Can’t fault anything. We’d definitely come back.

We loved staying at this hotel, and using the amenities like pool sauna steam room. Room was beautiful and bed wonderful. Breakfast and staff were excellent.

Loved the champagne welcome when we checked in. They were very good at making dinner reservations for us and helping to schedule our airport transportation. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the staff exceedingly friendly

Amazing hotel with amazing service

The hospitality at the Sans Souci is unparalleled! From the free flowing coffee to the most friendly and helpful staff and not to mention the different treats left in the room every day. Add to that the beautiful facilities and amazing breakfast and you really get the perfect stay.

Great one-night stay at Sans Souci Vienna!

We were able to check in early and front desk was very helpful in explaining how to get to all the nearby sites. Location was excellent - easy walking distance of Graben Street, Hofburg Palace, Sisi and other museums and St Stephen Cathedral. The room was comfortable with excellent lighting, often not the case in hotel rooms.

Stunning! Beautifully styled hotel both inside and out. Loved our room 215, no balcony but with huge windows opening out onto the street with morning sunrise too. Staff were amazing, reception and concierge were friendly and extremely professional and helpful; bar and restaurant staff were lovely. Really clean, lovely finishings, fab food, great cocktails, great room service for coffee too. Would I change or improve anything, no chance, everything perfect as it is.

I’d give it a 6-star if I could. Location is perfect, the breakfast is magnificent, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, with a team in which everyone takes his/her work and customer service extremely seriously. Special thanks to Ulrich, Thomas at the front desk and the nice blond lady who works at the spa/pool area. They made our stay a memorable one.

I stay here ever year at least twice a year and it’s always a huge pleasure!!! I absolutely love love love this place! I truly like the crew working at the hotel, my favorite, Christian is an absolute gem stone and makes the dinning experience even better. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was excellent. The bathroom amenities were great. We ate at the Veranda and the servers were very helpful. The menu is tapas style and the menu was regional cuisine and the sane as room service. There are restaurants nearby and a grocery store. It is a long walk to downtown but we had a taxi very easily. The hotel arranged our airport transportation and provided other extras, such as pillow options. We loved San Souci!

The location was perfect!

Room was a bit small and surprised there was no bidet. Front desk staff was wonderful and breakfast buffet was excellent. Best feature was location.

As good as it gets

From arrival to departure the hotel was outstanding. For a hotel this central the 20M pool was terrific. The service was as good as you ever get. We couldn't get a reservation at one of Vienna's finest restaurants so the hotel got one for us. The front desk patiently laid out our itinerary for the four days. The breakfast is magnificent. Everything you could ever want and the service is great. The daily specials are mouthwatering. I rarely write reviews but this hotel deserves the praise.

Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff.

Outstanding hotel, faultless.

Absolutely superb hotel cannot fault it. Check in was easy, Nikolaus was very helpful. The room was absolutely gorgeous with a big four poster bed, mirrored wall, gold wardrobe, separate toilet to the shower room. Balmain toiletries were very luxurious. Towels lovely and fluffy, bedding so comfortable and pillows even had a menu. The concierge could not have been more helpful especially as my husband had a broken arm and they helped with luggage in and out of the taxi. Would 100% return here.

Excellent

We had a problem with our room on arrival. It was very small for a suite and not at all what we had expected. However the hotel sorted it out immediately the following morning and gave us a beautiful room at the front of the hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful, especially Daniel who recommended excellent restaurants and explained how to use the underground which proved really useful. Room was spotless with an evening towel change service. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the museum district with excellent service, breakfast and very spacious rooms. Great location just across from the metro station and a few Tram stops. Quiet location and room. Lovely rain shower with. Ice products. Really enjoyed our stay here with our 2 teens. Thank you.

Very disappointed on every level.

Beautiful room, helpful and friendly staff, quiet, and several recommendations made which increased our enjoyment of Vienna. A smaller, more personal, but equally impressive alternative to the better known “grand dames” of the Vienna hotel scene.

Wonderful check-in staff. The young woman was polite and friendly. The young man (concierge) was knowledgeable and efficient ! Beautiful property but very noisy (doors slamming - all hours) loud person above me, note in room iregarding noise from construction).

Near Perfect

Nearly perfect four-night stay during the first week of March. Only negative was that they were doing a little off-season renovation of the restaurant so breakfast was slightly disjointed some days but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. The room was large and beautifully (and recently) redone. Interior commons areas also new and well-maintained and tasteful with a little whimsy. Solid breakfast and beautiful spa/sauna/steamroom/gym area. Location in the Museum Quarter and just across from Kunsthistoriches also ideal for us. Wish more high-end boutique hotels could be like this. Stay here.

The hotel was in an excellent location. U stop was right across from the hotel and tram stop was a few mins walk. Staff was attentive, provided A service throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast and coffee service to the room was a pleasant addition.

Beautiful, charming, upscale hotel without being pretentious. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast menu is to die for. I will go back in a heart beat.

Fabulous....but

Hotel and staff are fabulous. Food is excellent. However the beds are hard, the automatic light in the seperate toilet is annoying in the middle of the night as you cant deactivate or dim it. The lighting in the shower room is also binary i.e. either full on floodlight or off....again not great if your partner is sleeping. Getting the basics right i.e enabling a guest to get a good night sleep is so important and its the over enthusiastic use of tech and a rock solid bed which partly lets this hotel down.

Luxury Boutique hotel.

Very impressed with everything about this hotel. Rooms are well designed. Service was exceptional, right from the bellboy to reception to room service to house keeping, they take their hospitality very seriously. Their pool and spa were very nice. Totally enjoyed it.

We have stayed in a lot of lovely places but Sans Souci is probably the best. Aside from the beautiful hotel, location and facilities it is the superb service from staff that make this hotel the best. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, you won’t be disappointed. We absolutely loved our Christmas stay.

A STAY TRULY “WITHOUT CARES”

Wonderful hotel in a great location in Vienna. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful in all respects. They are obviously well trained to deliver outstanding service from start to finish. Breakfast is wonderful and well stocked and well serviced. Again, service was superb and food was wonderful and we didn’t need lunch any of the days we were there.

Staying at this hotel was wonderful, this was the most luxurious hotel we stayed in during our Euro trip, and we are so happy we chose to stay in Hotel San Souci. The staff was so helpful and wonderful. The spa amenities were out of this world, pool, Finish sauna, a rain shower?!! Also did I mention that they have fantastic coffee? Highly highly recommend!

Every time, I am visiting Vienna, I’m staying at SS. The service, the rooms, the location and the breakfast are truly 5 stars. This hotel is a 💯 better than the famous RItz. I promise!

Great location. Incredible breakfast. Staff were courteous and friendly. Heard sounds from the people above us. so sound isolation is an issue. Room HVAC was a little bit of a challenge to navigate. Lights in the bathroom were something we were unaccostumed (sensor PIR detection) to but maybe this is a more of an EU thing that we spoiled, dumb americans need to enlighten ourselves with. View from room was not optimal given length of stay (9 nights). 4 stars may be a little generous. Probably 3.5 stars is more accurate but there is no way of doing this with this format.

The property was adjacent to the museums. Room/suite was exquisite. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Vienna Delight

Beautiful hotel in center of Vienna. Stylish, immaculate, comfortable room with huge luxurious bathroom including rain shower. Front desk and bar staff, especially Manuel in the bar, remarkably friendly and helpful. A fantastic and welcomed refuge in the summer heat. Top-notch amenities.

This is a remarkable hotel. From first to last the staff are extremely attentive, the facilities are superb and actually, compared to hotels in London now, for example, it is not expensive (for this grade of hotel). It’s also well-placed for the metro and near to the Museumsquartier. The food quality is also high. There’s very little to fault. I would only say that bigger, fluffier towels would be good (they are slightly scratchy and thin currently). And they really need a British person to show them how to make tea properly ;-)

Amazing hotel, great staff, good location

Great stay!

We stayed in the inner court yard, room 116 for five nights. The room was furnished nicely, clean and comfortable and secluded and quiet. The air conditioning worked well and room service for our daily morning coffee was excellent. The hotel staff were excellent and professional from start to finish and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we visit again.

Sans Souci Vienna

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Welcome drink and coffee. We received the suit even we arrived early. The suit was amazing. Fabulous breakfast and you can order complimentary coffee to your room all day. High class luxury hotel. Location is the best you can have in Vienna. Right next to QM and a lot of restaurants. 5 minutes walk from the old city. Absolutely recommended as the best hotel in Vienna.

Lovely property. Perfectly situated to walk everywhere, but also close to metro and tram stations. Perfect pizza and pasta restaurant nearby and Spar just next door. Breakfast’s lovely and relaxed. Room beautiful and clean. Staff always helpful. We didn’t use the pool or spa, as so much to do in such a lovely city. We walked in every direction from the hotel and always came across lovely new sights.
