I love the water slide for the kids

Excellent stay - friendly helpful staff - would stay again and again!!!

Beautiful room, very clean. The kids loved the pool and waterslide. Always plenty of pool towels. Great dining at the attached Denny’s restaurant. They did close the pool for 3 hours from 12noon till 3:00 which was a bit disappointing.

Very nice room: it was extremely clean and modern, the pool was clean and waterslide fast. Was not pleased with the fact that our room wasn't ready when we got there (two hours after check in), so we had to wait before we could check in. The quality, selection and price of the onsite restaurant (Denny's) was not great.

Hotel was awesome. Just a small little note, the temperature in the room was cold, then it heated up, then it was like the AC came on to cool it down, then it heated up… it just kept on doing this cycle. Had to turn it off.

Perfect for work travel

could not hook up my laptop to wifi. Only thing i was provided for wifi was a QR code to scan. it is not possible to hook up to wifi with my work laptop. I'll never stay here again because of that reason.

No laundry machines

Stayed here for a week. Wasn’t to bad but not a fan of no laundry machines.. can’t have a swimming pool and no laundry in my opinion

Best hotel in Halifax / Dartmouth

Great place to stay, modern, clean close to everything and had everything available that we could have thought of .

Property was clean and well kept. There are two eateries attached, with Denny's being ideal for breakfast and the 'one bar' being ideal for evening meal and drinks.

The hotel was beautfil and comfortable and clean. You needed tourbhotel ley to go up the elevator which made us feel really safe at night

We found the staff to be exceptional! We had a late flight and they were very accommodating about providing a late check-out for us.

Friendly staff. Clean. Great pool, hot tub and slide into the pool. Nieces had a blast. Tv in room wasnt working, called front desk. Someone came and fixed it within 10 mins. Recommend!

A wonderful experience!

This was our first time trying a Sandman and we will certainly stay again. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are modern and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but we did order room service from Denny’s and it was quick and hot.

Horrible night thanks to fire alarm

This ended up being a terrible, false fire alarm at 2:30am and ruined our night on one of biggest days of business we’ve ever had. Had to travel 9 hours of driving the next morning on 3 hours of sleep. No compensation was offered because it was booked through the hotels.com app.

Beautiful new hotel in a great location.

When I arrived, I was met with a cold reception from the staff and given the wrong room and key card. Unfortunately, none of the three staff members on duty offered an apology. The mini-fridge, the mirror near the kitchenette, the TV, and the remote were all quite dirty. I even took pictures of some mysterious red stains on the carpet and remote control. On a positive note, the pool and beds were fantastic, and while we didn’t use the appliances, it was a nice touch to have them available. Thank you, Victoria Gerrard Stayed in room 442

I loved that Denny's was open 24/7. The rooms were clean and well laid out. I had a fabulous sleep and the price was Fair. Excellent stay.

Really nice modern hotel

The hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, modern and felt luxurious for what you pay. The staff was efficient and helpful. Only aspect I didn't like was that there apparently wasn't as much insulation from noise as I would've liked. We heard guests departing during the night even though they were trying their best to make as little noise as possible. I also heard cars from the freeway very clearly even though I was on the 5th floor. Other than that, very nice place to stay.

I really liked this hotel, I would have given it a 5 but it lacks a few basic things that other hotels have unfortunately like a small business center and there's no changing room for the gym/pool which makes it very awkward for kids/families and inconvenient. Otherwise loved it.

Jada at the front desk and Ronald in maintenance and all the staff were just fantastic! It’s a lovely room and our granddaughter said she could live in it as a home with the kitchenette! The food in the restaurant is delicious and totally family friendly-

I loved the room we had, the staff was nice but we were woken up our second night multipack times by drunk people banging on our door (as a prank) but they kept doing it , yelling and screaming in the hallways throughout the entire night. Called the front desk and they said they would send them up but they did nothing about it and didn’t offer a discount or apology or anything. Sad that we paid so much to listen to drunken adults until 5am.

It was a really good stay. The room was a little dirty when we arrived. The room isn’t super dark either. Other than that everything was good.

On a last minute decision we booked the room with Expedia with very short notice. Within a few minutes we checked in to hour room and we were satisfied, new hotel located close to shopping area. I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay.

Stayed here with my daughter after an appointment in Halifax. The hotel was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. Check-in was easy, and we were close to all of the amenities we could need. Dining options are plentiful, but my daughters favourite part was the pool! Great for families. Would stay here again!

Easiest check in I’ve ever had at a hotel, and quickest especially right at check in time. Your employee that was on at 3pm is amazing

Beautiful rooms

We liked the location, great shops near by and restaurants. Hotel was nice, but when settling in for the night and wanting to watch a show, it was basic cable and it glitched the whole time. Audio wasn't matching the mouths in the show. Closed captioning couldn't be turned off. There were kids running around until close to midnight, making a lot of noise. That isn't the hotels fault, but they could have put the families on lower levels to contain the noise. Otherwise not a terrible stay

Great hotel! Fastest hotel slide we have found yet. What a blast! Connected to Deny's too made it easy for a fun, family breakfast before leaving.

Didn’t get any sleep during my stay as kids were running up and down the halls all night. Does the hotel not have quiet times that are enforced. I ended up leaving by 3am because it was ridiculous. Didn’t get to experience the pool or hottub because it was full until close. Hotel is beautiful, room was beautiful, but there was obviously a function taking place and no one stayed in their rooms, they used the hall as their common area.

Had a great stay really nice room and good service. Plus it was near alot of places to shop.
