fantastic time here at sand pebbles in! The staff were very nice and accommodating. they also offer complimentary breakfast which was probably the best Ive ever had for a complimentary breakfast. Will definitely come back here again in the future.

You just can't be a room with a fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and a patio view.

Location was convenient and close to restaurants on Moonstone Beach Drive. Hotel is located across from the ocean with easy access to a scenic walking path. The hotel is very well maintained. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Coffee is provided in the room and in the lobby. The breakfast was phenomenal with several options offered. I would not hesitate to return and recommend it to my family and friends.

It was a nice facility. The check in was easy and the lady at the desk was very helpful. I drive a Tesla and the on site destination charger was convenient and worked well. We’d definitely stay here again.

Clean and newer rooms. Linens and bathroom amenities were nice. Great view and loved the sounds of the ocean at night. Having breakfast delivered to the room was a nice touch (just be aware if you pick 7:00 am delivery time they are on time lol).

Sweet little hotel

Wonderful hotel with sweet little details like cookies in the room and real creamer for the coffee. The lady who checked us in was a bit curt. But honestly everyone working in the entire town seemed annoyed by the large crowds. I think employees aren’t prepared to handle the influx of people coming in to their cute little Christmas town. Too bad…it soured the trip a bit. But we will return, perhaps just not during the holidays

This is the first time staying at the Sand Pebbles Inn. The property is clean, the rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the pilot light in the fireplace in my room was flaming (so you could see it) in the fireplace. Apparently the pilot light remains on to heat the room with the wall thermostat. When I turned off the lights in the room to go to bed the flame was so prominent that it was flickering so you could see the flame dancing off the walls. For a person that needs a room really dark to sleep, this kept me up all night long. I regret to say that I hardly slept at all. Had I known that this was the case I would’ve asked for another room. I will definitely go back but I will never stay in room 200.

Amazing Inn! This property exceeded all of our expectations. We were graciously allowed to check in early. The room was tasteful and immaculate with an electric fireplace and a cute table and chairs allowing us to enjoy the stunning ocean view from the wide shuttered windows. We also took advantage of the tiered outdoor seating area with an unobstructed view of the ocean and beach area. One of the biggest surprises was the included breakfast that was delivered to our room at a time we specified. There were eight choices of breakfast burritos or breakfast bowls. Freshly made and hands down the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. Started each day on a positive note. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and added to the all around fantastic experience. We will absolutely be back to the Sand Pebbles Inn in Cambria. Visit this gem of a vacation spot. You will not be disappointed.

Sand Pebbles is located across from Moonstone Beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. The path in front of the inn is wonderful and takes you along the beach. I have walked this path many a times. I have stayed in this area many times and have stayed in several different inns/hotels. Sand Pebbles is a nice stay. Staff seemed friendly. The place is a bit outdated but clean. It has a beach house vibe. The rooms are relatively big as well. I do wish the floors were wooden and there was a bath tub; these are just my preferences. They drop off a simple breakfast in the morning. Many of the other inns offer a bigger selection for breakfast but I guess it’s better than no breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. There are many things to do in the area (hikes, Hearst castle, elephant seals, shops and eateries). I always enjoy my stay in Cambria/Moonstone Beach.

Very warm and polite staff. This was my first visit to the area and the first impression was very positive. Nice, clean and comfortable facility. The room delivered breakfast was a very nice experience. I’m not sure if any rooms (other than the very end of the building) fully face the ocean, but we still had at least a partial view from our windows. This was a very enjoyable stay and comfortable motel.

Sand Pebbles Inn has a cook-to-order breakfast. Though the menu is very limited, breakfast is fresh made and delivered to your room at a time you request. We had a view of the ocean which was nice. This is a place that we would come back to. Thumbs up!

Nice location. Rooms and hallways are pretty rundown and in need of some TLC. Front desk employees were not the most friendly or helpful.

The overall experience with this Inn has been wonderful. The desk attendant was delightful and she provided a map for us for dining options and shopping. Our room had full ocean view and we enjoyed having a patio. The room itself was fully stocked with items and it was clean which is a big one for us. We will definitely be returning to this property. Warm and inviting hotel!

We had an amazing experience! I really appreciated all the thoughtful little details, from cotton balls to makeup remover wipes. The hotel was spotless and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff, especially those at the front desk, were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the highlights was the Tesla charging station, which was extremely convenient for us. Breakfast was delicious, and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. We will definitely be returning to stay here again!

I absolutely loved our stay here. Extremely clean, comfortable. The host was very friendly. I could hear the ocean all night long. Watched the beautiful sunset from the front patio. One of my favorite places that we stayed on our California vacation. Also, breakfast served to your room, it was delicious. This place is a definite must!!!

Would not recommend

We called and requested to check in an hour early. We were told to call or come check around 2. When we got there we were told no rooms were ready ( I don't think we were told the truth). We checked in and were told when we come back we could just pick up a key. We came back about 3:10. There were 3 couples waiting. We went in and the lady was very rude and said 3 people need to check in first. We said we already checked in and just needed to pick up our key. She said we had to wait like everyone else. When we went back outside the other customers said they had been waiting from 1/2 hour to 20 minutes and that the staff at check in was doing nothing. We went to get our bags and then the staff called us and gave us our key before the other people. She was rude and said we had to fill out our menu for breakfast before we went to our room. When we went to our room almost every door was open and clean. It is obvious some of the rooms were ready before 3. It would help the staff if they let people check in early and not try to help everyone at one time The shower door was installed backwards and made it hard to turn on the water without getting wet. Furniture was old. Entire room needed updating The staff (3 of them) were all rude and never said thank you when we left We stay in Cambria every 2-3 months and have always been happy with our accommodations. This is the worst place we have stayed in the 15 years we have been coming. Will not be staying here again

Beautiful location, clean ,friendly. The Boardwalk was so nice for walking, good access to the beach. I love going to sleep & waking to the sound of the ocean waves. We went to see the scarecrows in Cambria we were not disappointed. Lovely area. J. Parsons

Absolutely delightful hotel overlooking the sea - we got there just in time for a beautiful sunset. The lovely Kathleen on reception checked us in to our rooms and was most helpful with regards to suggestions as to where to go to eat. The rooms were clean, spacious & comfortable and the shower was good! We left early the next morning but the breakfast wrap delivered to the room was most welcome. If we ever visit Cambria again, the Sand Pebbles Inn is where we will be staying!

The Sand Pebbles is a very nice hotel. I have stayed many times and will continue to make this hotel one of my favorites in Cambria. Breakfast is included and I appreciate the coffee in the lobby every morning. Good parking and there is a charging station for electric cars. You cannot beat the location and view of the ocean.

It was like staying at a bed and breakfast. The staff was great, the rooms were cute and cozy, the breakfast was good. Drinking wine on their patio watching the surf was so relaxing. The only thing I didn't like was leaving the hotel!

Comfortable and Chill

This is a very comfortable place to stay. The hotel is close to a gorgeous boardwalk. The person working the front desk when we checked in went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our brief stay. She was awesome!

We had an ocean view room that was amazing. It included a private patio with table and chairs, perfect to watch the surfers, people on the boardwalk and sunset. The room was spacious and included a fireplace. The bathroom was huge and included a shower and jacuzzi tub. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place, will be back

Very well maintained and clean hotel. Breakfast was great. Views were fantastic although a lot of fog was around when we visited. The only thing I would mention to potential guests is that it would probably get quite hot in the Summer months as there was no air-conditioning in the room, only a ceiling fan. Great that we could open our sliding door for fresh air.
