Lovely hotel but far too noisy!

Location was pretty convenient however, er on the side of caution with balcony rooms. We recieved a free upgrade to a lovely large balcony room however unfortunately it's extremely noisy with road noise. You will 100% require ear plugs to sleep and still likely be woken up multiple times. The doors do little to keep the noise out. Old Quarter during the week is busy until 10pm and then still has enough honks, beeps, sirens and garbage trucks and bikes with their loud vocal speakers. They start up again at 630am too so don't expect to sleep well. I would recommend the hotel invest in some double insulation windows and doors, it would make a world of difference in the comfort. We also found the bed a little too firm for our liking. The sheets covering the bed didn't really fit properly and would easily come off and become wrinkled under you.

The San Palace Hotel is on the edge of the old quarter a d within a few minutes walk to train street. Multitude of food and attraction on the doorstep. The rooftop pool and bar a great oasis after a busy day on the streets. Staff went out of their way to help wherever they could.

Nothing to complain about except Wifi speed Great location , great staff

We liked the area of the San Palace Hotel as it was very convenient to shops and restaurants. We also like to walk everywhere and it was very central to many of the sites we wanted to see. The staff was fantastic and very helpful and friendly. They were one of the highlights. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. A nice breakfast was served in the mornings with eggs made to order. Rides to and from the airport were arranged by the staff on our behalf and worked out very well. I would recommend staying here while visiting Hanoi.

Very good hotel and staff were so helpful and friendly. Nice spacious room with comfortable bed and nice seating area. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast included every morning. Coffee was excellent. Would stay here again.

Amazing staff, couldn’t do enough for us, especially Lily !!! Lovely young lady , spoke good English so helpful and also making sure we was safe, and looked after from start to finish . Hotel food very good, rooms nice with balcony.

Great location. Wonderful staff

Tracy and Tom were very friendly and extremely helpful! The hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter, so it is very convenient to most tourist sites.

Very comfortable stay

Room was clean and very comfortable. AC worked very well and bed was very comfortable. Staff was amazing! Everyone who worked there were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Just amazing people. Breakfast was good too. Good selection of coffee/tea/juice, three types of bread, two types of cereal, yogurt, plus a rotating selection of three different hot dishes (changed daily) and two different fresh fruits (again, changed daily). The only downside is the hotel lobby feels very cramped but of course they can’t do much about that. Also, hotel is located at a particularly busy intersection so crossing street is difficult but I guess that’s Hanoi!

Nice hotel, with nice rooftop pool and views, and in a great location - but what makes the stay is the staff, they are all so lovely and attentive and really helpful with planning trips and finding things to do in Hanoi. Would definitely stay again.

Overall satisfaction level is good. Very convenient to find local food even in the midnight. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the hotel located at quite central of Old quarters. Will come back again

Beautiful finishings. Comfortable bed friendly staff and very accommodating to our needs.

The staff was amaising. Camilla was great !! Very helpfull and kind.

The staff in particular Camellia were so attentive caring and going the extra mile in helping us to sort things . Entire stay was very nice indeed

Friendly helpful staff.

It’s says 3 star but in reality it’s a 5.. the hotel was clean and close to everything. The staff where amazing, so friendly and would go annoyance beyond to make sure your stay was amazing.. thank you to Ms moon, Charlie, Mr tom and David.. bed was so comfortable and breakfast was great

Nice place to stay

Great stay in the heart of Old Hanoi

We stayed here two nights, one when we arrived in Hanoi from the U.K. and one when we arrived back from our Ha Long Bay cruise. Both times the staff made us feel welcomed and were extremely friendly, accommodating, courteous and overall lovely. We would recommend staying at L’Harmonie to anyone visiting Hanoi for a short or long stay, our room was comfortable and the air con great, the location is 10/10 and the breakfast was hot and tasty.

Unbeleivable

This palce shouldn't be operating. There was no staff working. During the business hours. The hotel door was locked. Knocking didn't work. I had to call the house keeper

New property in Old town. Close walk to alot of attractions. As an older female solo traveler I felt very safe walking the area in the evening. The staff are very helpful.

the receptionist is absolutely well serving , not only the service inside the hotel, but also good english in communication

Get spa services else wear until they set more set up.

Fräscht hotel med perfekt läge i gamla stan. Välstädat stort rum med jättesköna sängar. Utmärkt frukost där bland annat ägg tillagas efter önskemål. Mycket trevlig hjälpsam personal. Vi återvänder gärna.

Fijn hotel, goed ontbijt en hulpvaardig personeel.

Prima hotel, midden in het centrum. Vlakbij trainsteeet. Super vriendelijk personeel, die je graag helpt, heerlijk ontbijt zowel buffet als kaart. Klein dakterras met zwembadje. Heerlijk om even te chillen.

Good breakfast. Excellent staff. All staff were friendly and very helpful with any issues. Excellent location in the Old town.

Good location

If you are looking for a hotel and or an agent than Daff is your go to. She gave us local information and useful tips for traveling around Vietnam, helped us to organise Ha Long Bay tour, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Hue, Da nang, Hoi An and Mekong Delta Trip. Our trip was seamless and very enjoyable. The hotel is clean with a contemporary touch, rooms are spacious with toiletries Weekends the roads are closed so scooters and cars are banned so walking is pleasant Breakfast is very good we couldn’t get enough of the fresh fruit

Het verblijf hier was erg aangenaam, zeker aan te raden als je in Hanoi bent. Centraal gelegen en aardig personeel. De kamers waren in goede staat en het ontbijt was prima!

Good enough for a few days in Hanoi

Amazing staff, but my room could use a deep clean. Several places had a thick layer of dust, and several counters had fingerprints and stains on them. The hotel’s location is pretty good, and the small pool is a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was lacking, and even if the room was well soundproofed from the outside, the door did nothing to shut out the noise from the hallway. I was unlucky and had some noisy neighbors who made a lot of fuss late at night, but that’s not the hotels fault.

Book this hotel!

Very nice staff with great level of English and concierge-like service, great location and overall very good value for money. Hotel actioned on the feedback we gave, we had a pleasant experience with the staff getting to know us. Minor improvement point: softer and lower pillows.
