It was a cute and nice place to stay at, i enjoyed my stay here. The A/C in the rooms felt sooo nice lol. Also the rooftop and balcony was enjoyable :)) Right across the street you have a little convenience store that came in handy during my trip there’s also “tostado” which was a cafe nearby and it was really goood.
Area around it doesn't look the best but spacious living with parking included
Nice staff, Morning construction is bothersome.
I really enjoyed my stay in san agustin, however the sheets leaves a lot to be desired. The sheets feel cheap, wifi doesnt reach the room and floor is a bit dusty. There are some light switches that do not work, and no microwave. They do have an induction stove.
I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in San Juan, Puerto Rico! The place was clean, comfortable, and spacious, for what I needed for my six-day vacation. The location was perfect—close to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. The host was very responsive and made sure I had a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it when visiting San Juan!
Everyone that worked there was unbelievably nice and very communicative. Really enjoyed it
The property was very unique and gave the real San Juan vibe . Staff was very friendly and helpful easy to communicate. I would definitely recommend and stay again
They are trying to revitalize this area. So construction is going on (no noise, but some dilapidated buildings around , and that might turn off some people, but it really made it quite charming for us. The staff was unbelievably nice and attentive. And you can walk to old town easily and safely.(20min), so great location if you want to explore Old San Juan. The apartment was spacious and clean, good hot water, comfortable beds and pillows. Though sparsely decorated the TV worked and we were able to connect to our own services and the Wi-Fi worked great. The shared workspace is great and comfortable, the coffee is free, and there’s purified water on site. Overall… We fell in love with this quaint little place!
Great apartment, comfortable bed, easy access to beach/OSJ, very nice staff
Comfortable Stay in Good Location
The San Agustin Apartments are part of a larger complex of properties in the Puerta de Tierra neighborhood, which has a hipster, artistic vibe and is located between the beach and Old San Juan. The apartments are IKEA-chic; they have a refrigerator but no microwave (you must go to the lobby to use one); and comfortable beds. A big plus is free parking. Also, there is a laundry on the premises. Staff members are very helpful.
We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and attentive and the space was clean. We will be back!
We loved this place. Lots of quirks and things that could be improved but nothing that would make us not recommend. Bed was comfortable and clean towels were always just a text away. We had #2 City Apt. Yellow couch was surprisingly comfortable. Wish there was a coffee table or footstool. Steps up to unit need a handrail and light was not working. Nice that they take you to your unit and help with luggage. Chairs on the balcony would have been nice. Hallway inside the unit is very narrow. Shower is very narrow. Hot water takes a few minutes to get to the unit but is plentiful once there. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash included in shower but no place to put washcloth or personal items. Very difficult to shave. No outlets in bathroom or kitchen. Kitchen had four cup coffee pot, two burner stove and full size fridge. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen. There is a bakery next door open Tuesday-Friday, the bodega and barra 5 were open every day. The barra has great lunch. Food truck tacos were good. Beach is a ten minute walk away. Ubers are easily available and inexpensive. There are no amenities except coffee at the workspace. Thanks to all the staff that made our stay so fun.
We stayed in their penthouse location, lot's of amazing views, we had access to 3 balconies, 2 were rooftop. Beds were comfortable, lot's of space to move around, there is NO ELEAVATOR, not a big deal from us, no couches in the living room or microwave in the kitchen, it had a built-in stove top and all the dishes and silverware. There is plenty of food options within walking distance along with a pharmacy and small Bodega, several food trucks and small local bars. You're 1.4 KM walk to Old San juan, just walk it or Taxi it as you WILL soend 30 min just looking for parking. You're also about 10 minutes from a local beach where you can rent chairs, and other beach equipment that's great for families or the typical beach goer. The staff is great at the counter checking in, and communicating if you have a concern or questions about things to do, Our 2nd time staying at this facility and we'll be going back.
They charged us $83 for stained towels. At this price we could have replaced ALL the towels
love love love love. the apartment gives so much pr vibes it was clean stocked. room service available easy communication threw whats app. they seem to own the enter block with offers great scenes food tucks a bodega laundry a working building for computer work or meetings. easy and quite walk to a beautiful beach and can easily walk to el murro. i can keep going on and on. oh what and the priceeeee girl! 10s across the board
I like the tranquility of the area, you can go for a walk without problems 5 min. from Old San Juan and to sleep excellent very quiet at night, party and rest. highly recommended
We enjoyed our stay at San Agustin Apartments. The apartments were clean, spacious, and had an authentic feeling. The beds were comfortable with effective a/c in the bedroom. The location was great, walking distance to several restaurants, bars, Old San Juan, and beach. The communication and interactions with the staff were excellent and we felt well taken care of during our stay. My only suggestions for improvement would be dusting the fan blades in the common area (they were pretty visibly dusty) and adding a microwave to the kitchen for convenience.
Great apartment with an awesome rooftop patio. There was a nightclub across the street that was pretty loud at night, but the location is excellent. We were able to walk to old San Juan in 20 minutes and to the public beach in 15.
they did warn me but there was not hot water for showering most of the time I was there. As well what is advertised on web is not same, it states that its a Pent house but in no ways is this pent style. the first pent house shown look ran down furniture was ran down .they did switch me but wasn't not a pent house like I reserved. customer service was amazing they are very friendly and helpful with any needs you may need its a very safe property
Stay was amazing and property was nice. Staff was extremely friendly and it was a great area.
A Nice San Juan Stay
We enjoyed our stay in one of the San Agustin apartments. The apartment let us feel like we lived in San Juan. It had a nice common room area with a sofa and dining table. It had a kitchen, shower, and two bedrooms. The location was very convenient. It was a 15-minute walk to Old San Juan, and about a 7-minute drive to some great eating spots in Santurce. The complimentary parking was also great. Staff was very helpful.
Noisy at night. Average accommodations
Cultured Property!
This property is older but very clean. It is definitely a cultured property. The property staff were all Amazing!
Everyone at San Agustin Apartments were so accommodating and amazing to me. Made me feel welcomed and apart of their family. I will definitely be returning to book with San Agustin Apartments. Thank you much for making my experience in Puerto Rico one of the best.
The staff is amazing. They’re very kind, very very helpful, very knowledgeable and accommodating. The location is great and very walkable. But the staff is what made our stay so great.
Great location
Great location. Amazing customer service. Great for families. Will go back!
Great people, super attentive, nice apartments
Free parking and the area was safe with lots to do. I did not like the stairs, no elevator.
The best time ever in Puerto Rico
We just loved this place!!! We are coming back in November
neighborhood was kinda creepy at first impression but it was actually not bad. Pro: There is a bakery next door which is great. Location is good. Very close to old town and cruise ports. Room is old but clean. Stuffs are friendly. Cons: There is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow. Too many mosquitoes even when it was their winter time. Stove is confusing even with instructions. Doesn’t really like the smell of the hand wash and shampoo but maybe some people like it. Tv is small and high which made my back hurts. The door to balcony has no curtains. There was a power outage when we were staying. Garage could be better.
This property is conveniently located, with everything within walking distance. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking around at night, especially with the lively atmosphere created by the Christmas festival. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Miguel for being attentive throughout my stay. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making my experience even better.
Good experience
The apartment is very authentic nothing fancy but clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be staying again.
I had a very good experience at San Juan 901. I will come back next time i visit San Juan. Staff are super friendly.
I liked how this property was close to restaurants and nightclubs. It was also close to Old San Juan. The staff were so friendly. I felt safe and happy. The mosquitoes loved me too 😅
The staff communicates with you often to ensure that your trip is goong well. If there are any issues. They assist right away to get it resolve. In short, they make you feel at home and valued.
People were friendly staff was very attentive and lots of dining options within walking distance.
All good 👍
The staff was so amazing. They are the saving grace for this place. The apartments aren't anything special to be honest, but the staff are super helpful, very nice, and just an overall joy to be around.
I like the convenience to be able to walk to the restaurants, grocery store, and the Morro. Everything was walkable distance customer service amazing the only thing I didn’t like is that there’s no TV in the bedroom only in the living room. I would stay there again.
We enjoyed the space and general vibe of the place. We did have to walk up some stairs, which was good exercise for us, but might be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. There is an ice cold a/c in the bedroom, but, not the common area of the room. There was a food truck right by the parking lot, so that was convenient, as was the nearby bakery and bodega. The coffee in communal room was a nice treat. Close to old San Juan. I’d stay again!
We have no complaints! The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. It was HOT the days we were here so while the bedrooms have an excellent AC; be warned that the living area doesn't. However, despite how hot it was outside; the AC from the bedrooms kept the entire space quite livable. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating. They were quick to respond and deliver at all hours. This location is quite close to everything! including being walking distance and 4 minutes drive from Old San Juan. They had a co-working space which provided tea and coffee which I LOVED and found myself in often. The area was quiet, and there's bakery, breakfast spot, juice bar, pizza spot all within walking distance. The beach is also within walking distance. THANK YOU San Agustin. Will definitely consider staying here again and referring to friends. <3
Very friendly staff and clean
Will stay here again
Property well maintained, however parking lot was a mess and there was damage to my rental. Additionally, items I purchased were taken when room was cleaned.
Nice, cute apartment style. Has everything you’ll need during your stay including free off- street parking. No elevator so you might get stuck climbing 2 flights of stairs if you get an apartment up top. A/Cs only in the rooms so make sure you leave the doors open before you head out on your adventures. We were only there to sleep and shower so we never really interacted with staff or needed anything. Small convenience store across the street open late which came in handy.
Everything was great! Not much in walking distance. Not hotel's fault. Great property!!!
Great cozy spot
Comfortable
Staff was very helpful.
Communication was great! Everyone was so accommodating.
It was perfect for a long weekend getaway! Comfortable!
It was a great place to stay
What I didn’t like was the I got a third floor and I have lower back arthritis but other than I’m satisfied.
The view wasn’t very good, but not their fault, other than that it’s a cool place to stay😎
The check in and check out process was extremely easy. Loved that they had parking across the street. The apartment also felt very safe and secured, everything worked just fine. The ladies in the front desk were also extremely helpful & they did a daily check up which was much appreciated! I would definitely recommend.
It was good for what we needed
I felt really welcome the stay was great got a great experience 901 and tell my friends and family
They had a generator during the rain storm so we had power when the whole Island was out of power!
Clean property. Good location.
Todo perfecto pero no hay elevador
The condition of the apt were terrible A lot of mosquitoes inside de apt No microwave No toilet paper It was a bad experience I called for toilet paper and it took more than 8 hours to bring it
Very nice. Close to everything and super awesome staff!! Loved it.
Place was clean. Safe. I would stay there again.
Great apartment! Simple, but has all the amenities you need during your stay (kitcken doesn’t have a microwave but has a fridge and oven you can use), AC/fan, etc. The staff was really awesome and helpful not only with our apartment but giving out tips and making sure everything was smooth during our stay. Would recommend and definitely come back!
It was great
Would add A/C to whole apartment. Rooms with great A/C. Loved it, as all these nearby properties they are 10 stars 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Newly renovated and safe apartment.
The communication was excellent from the very beginning. The apartment was clean, and safe. We enjoyed daily breakfast at the Tostado restaurant one block away. Open from 8am-3pm. You can walk from the apartment to theold San Juan in 15-20min which we did at the end of the day when it was not so hot.
It was convenient for what needed to do while I was there
Excellent
Love the communication and friendly the safe were. It was a great stay !
Great property only thing i would hvae liked was a microwave in the room
Everyone was extremely friendly. Bakeries on the street were delicious. If your a cat person they come to say hello.Bodega across the street. Looks are deceiving they are improving the entire area. But this is great. The ST Agustin apartments was safe n comfortable I will come again. Staff was very nice.
Another great stay! Thank you!!
Property was in a great location, we walked around to several restaurants and bars. We were staying prior to our cruise, although you can walk to the port, it would not have been feasible with luggage. We booked a shuttle to take our group. The property, or at least the apartments we were provided are very worn, they were clean and comfortable, but we did not stay in anything reassembling the beautiful pictures that were shown. With that being said, it met our needs and we would stay again.
The property was nice and clean, and the location was a plus for the plans we made for our trip.
Excellent property in an amazing neighborhood!!! There is a small bodega, a bakery, several restaurants, and a gas station within a block of the property. They have their own off street parking lot with night time security. The communication is great with staff and they are very helpful with any questions you might have. Excellent place to stay.
The apartment is conveniently located near Old San Juan and has a bakery next to it along with a bodega across the street. There is also a restaurant across the street that has breakfast. We had the top level apartment which was very spacious and we had views to the port and an area to sun bathe as needed. The rooms were spacious and beds are very comfy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is no elevator and we had to walk 4 flights of stairs with bags.
We liked everything about this stay. Staff was super friendly and accomidating. Wonderful communication throught our entire stay. Room was nice and cool and very comfortable. Walked all over the area and was perfect for our couple of day stay before we boarded our cruise.
Would never stay here the bathroom toilet over flooded the water turns cold after like ten minutes in shower like if your times no microwave and no bathtub not good for little ones I also went to wash and there washers flooded the basement water everywhere me and another customer were there and clothes were left soaked that we had to pay for
All the processes was really simple, since booking to the checkout was easy, the apartment was really clean and comfortable.
Nice apartment near the malecón
Location was very close to the malecón and a small grocery store. Check in and out was easy; the people were super nice! Apartment was spacious and good for two people. Enjoyed the balcony, especially in the evening. Biggest downside was an extremely uncomfortable sofa.
The apartments are very well equipped (eg kitchen, first aid, tv, wifi, coffee) & maintained. Property is within walking distance of OSJ. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I loved our stay at St.Agustin! The apartment was large for our small family stay, we had a kitchen and two separate bedrooms and wifi. There is also a co-working space with a small coffee machine and a great bakery next door. We had constant communication from the front office team with security guard information and suggestions of things to do during our trip. The location is far enough from everything to feel local, but close enough to walk to Old San Juan and the beach and Uber to Condado for less than $10. Also, they have a book of improvements they've made to the neighborhood in the co-working space and it's an amazing before and after view of where the space will be in the future.
Great value for the price!!
This place was a great value for the price. The location was great, a nice walk to Old San Juan and a quick Uber ride to Condado and both airports. The welcome at check in was great and all communications were replied to promptly. A few small things and I would give it 5 stars. We were 2 couples staying in a two bedroom. It was spacious enough but needed a couple more comfortable chairs or another love seat in the living room area so that we could all sit there. The chairs with the kitchen table just weren't comfortable. A full size coffee pot would be nice. And they would only give us 4 bath towels which is not enough with two woman with long/thick hair who need a second towel. My longer term wish list would include a microwave and direct TV. But again, at this price point it's a great deal!
The property is beautiful , authentic and super safe. There is plenty of things to do around and the staff is super welcoming and on top of things when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Was very happy with stay overall! Hoping to visit Puerto Rico again, and would definitely stay again!!
Very basic, no-frills property, that is a great base to explore San Juan or Puerto Rico in general. The place is clean and safe, management is very responsive and efficient. The full kitchen comes in very handy and the free parking next door is a very useful feature in this part of town. Just don't expect any luxury (which is reflected in the price). This is an older property so it has no elevator, be prepared to climb some steep stairs (they do disclose this in advance). All in all a nice, safe place to be your home base while you explore Puerto Rico.
Very Underwhelming
While not angry, I'm underwhelmed by this "hotel" experience for a few reasons: 1. Check in was extremely convoluted for no good reason. There is conflicting signage on *where* to check in, so that makes it confusing right off the bat. I had to call to figure it out, and they texted me a GPS link which made it look like we were miles away (not the case, it's just down the street). After walking in circles, we figured out where the front desk was. Check in for multiple rooms was very problematic for their system and I had to make multiple trips to the front desk to take care of things. The staff was really sweet, it's just an awful system. 2. Our bed was really uncomfortable. It was a futon-style mattress, very thin and hard. Not firm (I like firm mattresses), this was hard. The bed was also too short for my husband, who is 6'1". The futon couch in the living area is perhaps the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've ever attempted to sit in. I think it was broken. We sat on the floor or in dining chairs. 3. The "kitchen" is un-usable because there's nothing in it. One 8-inch skillet and a few utensils. We couldn't even boil water! We had groceries go to waste because there was just no way to cook them. 4. The bathroom and surfaces were clean, the floor was not. The old, historic tile is very cool. I understand that it's not going to shine like a new surface--that's fine. But our feet were dirty after walking barefoot.
Excelente estadía, la atención fue muy muy buena, lo recomiendo, está muy bien ubicado, y seguro
Wonderful experience definitely would come back
It’s a nice apartment in a safe area . You can walk to the tourist areas in Old San Juan. Also what I liked is the parking.
Location!
Excellent views! Super cozy apartment with local charisma!
Great customer service!
Great communications. Excellent and very friendly staff. Would stay in one of their properties again. Easy access by long walk or fast uber to old San Juan, Condado, etc.
Love this property. Friendly staff and very clean room. This was my second time staying at this property.
Let's start with the good experience. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable beds. The bads, first day we did not have hot water and the hot water is heated by solar panels. So if there is no sun, you know what to expect. The laundry facility is in bad condition. It was flooded with water when we had slight rains. There were two washing machines that are not functional and we ended up wasting more money and getting clothes that are not dry. We had to take them to a laundromat to be washed and dried again. The washing machines should be fixed or removed. Given how much I paid for my stay, I definitely will not come again and there are much better places around the area with the same cost.
San Juan Rocks
Great people and fun area in a quaint and mostly quiet place
Great communication!
First of all, every single staff member we interacted with was beyond friendly and accommodating! Communication is 1,000% better than any rental I’ve stayed at before. They do an amazing job via WhatsApp. Apartment is spacious and A/C was strong and appreciated. Everything was super clean. We arrived around 2am, and we were a little nervous about the area when we first got there. They have security on site, the property is gated, and we felt totally safe during the day (two females). We walked the 15 mins down to Old San Juan a few different times, once at night. I do want to point out that this is not going to be the same experience as staying at a typical hotel. The floors are cement/tile and you can definitely see the age of the building in the walls/ceiling. I was a little bit worried about bugs, but never saw a single one during our four night stay. A few other notes - we drank the water from the faucet the first night but were told later that it wasn’t recommended. They ask that you don’t flush your toilet paper due to older plumbing. This was a new one for me! The Mallorca at the bakery right next door is definitely recommended! Lots of stray cats in the area. One made a habit of greeting us at our door each morning. In all, we would stay here again!

I felt like it had a youth hostel vibe. The bedrooms seemed like cells. Beds were not comfortable. AC was loud. The neighborhood was loud at night. It did not seem like the safest area. Not many nearby dining options. The apartment did seem clean, just not a comfortable stay for people in their 70’s. If I were in my 20’s and not too picky and looking for affordable it would be okay. Communication was good enough with the staff. The pictures of the property were misleading.
