A great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Salkim Cave House. We booked a family suite which was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was nice and Yunus serves a very good breakfast. They also provide free mineral water and have tea making facilities in the room. The restaurants and shops are a 5 minute walk away downhill. Both Yunus and Yusuf are extremely helpful and attentive. Yunus can book your transfers and excursions. I thoroughly recommend Salkim Cave House if you go to Cappadocia.

Wonderful hotel with excellent service

We really enjoyed our stay at Salkim Cave House - spacious and clean room, super friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfast, wonderful terrace. The only drawback - the internet can be a bit spotty.

No better place to stay in Gerome!

Beautiful hotel in Gerome. This cave hotel has spacious rooms and a huge bathroom (could literally fit 5 people in the shower). Very comfortable beds, traditional decor, super clean, and had a fridge and kettle in the room. The property is gorgeous, breakfast was phenomenal… Turkish breakfast each morning with variety each day. There are viewing terraces for watching the balloons at sunrise. Tunis was amazing! He started correspondingly with me from when I booked. Helped us with booking tours and car transfers. He made our stay extra special, very kind and detailed oriented. He is up with you at 4am to make sure your pick up for the ballon’s is ok and is there every step of the way. He took the time to watch the balloons with my elderly father to keep him company and made him coffee. Truly a phenomenal stay and will stay there again!

Yunus is The BEST! he went above and beyond helping us with everything. Great rooms, comfy bed and the free fresh breakfast is delicious. will come again.

The people at the hotel were extremely kind and friendly. However the conditions of the hotel could be better, there is no natural plants and the decoration of the rooms may be improved, but in general very nice place.

The staff went beyond what is expected, helping to arrange experiences and making us feel welcome. We experienced some of the Turkish culture by talking with them. Food was excellent. I can’t say enough about what an enjoyable time we had. The tourism industry here is also very organized and takes care of the visitors.

Good stay

Good stay! Staff very flexible to accommodate needs of guests. 10 min walk from city center/main group of restaurants (although there are few options around as well). Place is well maintained and cared.

We made a last-minute booking and everything went smoothly. Yunus took great care of us, from check-in to hot breakfast, arranging a quad bike tour for us, and more! It was a pleasure staying at this cave hotel and Yunus made the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you!!

We liked everything about this property, the room was very clean, the hotel was beautiful, the views from the terrace were just great. The breakfast included with the room was just superb. The receptionist spoke very good English, helped us with everything from setting up tours to carrying are bags. After staying at over 100 hotels worldwide he was one of the best I have ever came across. We highly recommend his property and if we are ever in the area again it will be our hotel of choice.

Amazing Stay

Amazing!! The staff was great! The Breakfast was superb! The rooftop was dope! Loved this place and would tell anyone to go back and stay there.

I had a great time in Goreme and this hotel, the receptionist which I forgot his name texted me before I arrive to the hotel to make sure everything was fine and to even confirm the address, The Hotel is beautiful, very clean and very friendly staff. I had a great breakfast homemade the next morning on top of the roof. I will definitely come back to this Place.

A lovely stay

We loved our stay at Salkim Cave House. We spend three nights and had everything we needed. We traveled in November and the room was warm, clean, the breakfast was great and more than that, we had a fire chimney in our room and we enjoyed it very much.

Wonderful Hotel

Great stay, comfortable, nice location and very accommodating staff to help make your visit to Cappadocia unforgettable. Hotel is not a modern cave-like house, but not an underground cave, so it's extra comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and rooftop view very expansive. You do need to drive from the hotel to the town center.

Great location and friendly staff. Went out of her way to call me at the time of reservation to make sure my needs were met. Remember that you are inside cave and expect sand and small pebbles to fall off from ceiling.

Breakfast is awesome. Staff is very friendly. Room is clean. Fire place is cosy.

Exceeded our expectation

From the moment we booked our host Idim (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) made contact to assist with any of our needs. She arranged bookings and was the most friendly, gracious and helpful person you could expect to have. The breakfast was home cooked and the best we had while in Turkey.? Location was great. For the price we could not fault.

Aile gezimiz

Oda kahvaltı bir otel oda servisi veya herhangi ekstra bir hizmet yoktur. Ailecek gittik oda anlatıldığı gibi herhangi bir sürpriz ile karşılaşmadık. Odamoz güzel, temiz ve sıcaktı. Tekrar kalırmıyım evet kalırım. Teras manzarası bölgedeki en güzel manzara. Balonları seyretme imkanı var.

Otel de konumu da harikaydı. İşletmecisi Yunus bey çok ilgili ve yardımsever bir kişi. Ailece yaptığımız bu tatilimizde bu tesiste konakladığımız için çok memnun kaldık. Bu arada kahvaltısı da beklentimizin üzerinde ve başarılydı.

Olumsuz bir tecrübe

Oteldeki pozitif hatırlayacağımız tek şey Yunus bey oldu .Bilgili, dürüst ve ilgili biri . Kahvaltı da gayet yeterli ve iyiydi . Otel kömür İle ısınıyor maalesef ve bir sabah 5.30 da odaya giren duman kokusu İle uyandık .Ciddi bir tehlike atlattık .Tuvalet klozeti yenilenmeli kırık ve cok eski keza duş da . Oda alt katta ve eski mağara olduğundan daha cok aydınlatılmalı .Tavandan dökülen sıvalar her ne kadar günlük temizlik yapılsa da odayı kirletiyor . Bundan rahatsız olanlar bu tür odalarda kalmamalı çünkü kalıcı bir çözümü yok anladığım . Yunus Bey’e teşekkürler onun harici olumsuz bir tecrübe oldu .

Parfait séjour !

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour ! Le personnel est top! La gentillesse, le service... Notre chambre était également parfaite. Le petit déjeuner excellent! Il y a une terrasse sur laquelle on peut se poser mais aussi y admirer le spectacle des montgolfières au lever du soleil. Je recommande totalement.

Odamiz rahatti temizdi.kahvalti cok güzeldi. Ilgili personel. Temiz bir yer. Biz ailecek rahat ettik. Merkeze yurume mesafesi. Akşamları cafelere indik. Gunduz peri bacalarini gezdik.sadece araba icin otopark sorunu var ama bu buradaki tum oteller icin geçerli.

Cana yakın, yardımsever ve anlayışlı bir işletme. Bayram bey ve diğer çalışanlara her şey için teşekkür ederim. Çok yardımcı oldular. Kaldığımız yer merkezi konumdaydı ve güzel bir teras manzarası vardı kesinlikle herkese tavsiye ederim.

Tekrar tercih etmem.

Otelin konumu güzeldi fakat araçla gidiyorsanız park sıkıntısı yaşıyorsunuz. Odalar temizdi fakat yatağımız inanılmaz derecede gıcırdıyordu .Biz kulaklıkla uyuyabildik çok rahatsız ediciydi. Klimalar belli bir seviyeye sabitlenmiş şekilde çalışıyordu çok yeterli değildi.Kahvaltısı oldukça güzeldi bu konuda içiniz rahat olabilir. Bir de yattığımız odanın hemen önünde masalar vardı kapının önünde geç saate kadar sohbet edildi bu da hiç hoş bir durum değil. Otel çalışanı Bayram çok ilgiliydi turlar ve gezeceğimiz yerler konusunda oldukça yardımcı oldu . Genel anlamda tekrar tercih etmeyeceğim bir konaklama oldu.

Konumu ve kahvaltısını çok sevdik

Girince ilgi ile karşılandık, odamız beklediğimizden küçük ama temizdi. İhtiyacımız olan herşey vardı. Otelin konumu iyiydi, teras manzarası güzeldi. Kahvaltısı dört dörtlüktü, özellikle teyzenin yaptığı pişiye bayıldık.

Sevgili Özge hanım iyi bir sekilde konaklamamiz için elinden gelen özveriyi gösterdi.Sıcak ve temiz bir ortam sağlanmıştı.Bir günlük kısa gezimiz için görülecek önemli yerlere yönlendirmesi zamanı iyi kullanmamızı sağladı, covid 19 nedeniyle düşük bir sezon olması bizim için iyi bir şanstı çünkü park sorunu yaşamamış olduk

受付の対応や朝食時のスタッフはフレンドリーですごくいい感じだった。部屋は広く、アメニティも充実していて快適だった。ただ、枕元に壁の岩のくずのようなものがたくさん落ちていて、それを手で払ってから横になることになった。ベッドメイキングの時に気づかなかったのだろうか。また、部屋にはWi-Fiが無くレセプションから届くWi-Fiを拾って使った。窓際しか届かず、電波も弱いため苦労した。割引で通常の3分の1以下の値段で泊まることはできたが、ギョレメにはその値段でWi-Fiがあるホテル、壁くずが落ちていないホテルが他にもある。

Çok araştırarak aldığımız odamız harikaydı, otelin genel durumu, çalışanlarının ilgisi muhteşemdi. Terasından balonları izlemek mümkün, ama bayraklı tepeden izlemek daha keyif verici. Hele kisiye ozel o an hazırlanan kahvaltısı çok lezizdi. Teşekkürler her sey icin

Otelin konumu tepe bir noktada, göreme merkeze yürüme 5 dk. Tepede olduğu için çatısında güzel bir manzara var ancak zaten nereye giderseniz manzara var bu yüzden manzaralı otel aramaya pek takılmayın derim. Aile işletmesi güzel insanlar. Özellikle Irem hanım her konuda çok yardımcı oldu. Araç kiralama, tur, gezilecek yerler, her şeyi sorup yardım alabilirsiniz. Kaldığımız oda gayet büyük ve konforluydu,üst katta kaldık. Kahvaltı için adeta evin mutfağında, güzel bir ortamda, iyi bir kahvaltı veriliyor.Tatile gelip(!) internet problemi çeken misafirlerin yorumlarına pek aldırış etmeyin. Çevre otellere göre burası uygun fiyatıyla ve huzurlu ortamıyla bir adım öne çıktığı için tercih ettik ve gayette mutlu ayrıldık. Her şey için teşekkürler.
