They don't go over expectations until you have an issue with the room
I will stay here again. The location is convenient and walkable to the area you can find shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The room and neighbourhood is clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and they give you a bottle of water every time you get back to the hotel. The only thing is that if you are carrying lots of luggages walking to and from the hotel, be prepared to walk the pedestrian bridge. But it is not really a big deal. I am very happy with my stay overall, thank you!
Poor facilities
The facilities is so poor. The air conditioner and the air cycling at toilet is out of service. Hotel staff told me just open the window while outside is 5-10 degree C.
Conveniently located near shibuya station- 10 minute walk through the mall to the trains. Staff could improve with their tone of voice when speaking otherwise friendly. Free amenities and PJ’s. There is an incline to the hotel from the station which can feel tiring after walking all day. If you are a passenger princess and don’t want to be dragging your heavy luggage up and down stairs a taxi will cost around ~800 yen but they will look at you funny. Nice big room and bed, although unnecessary clutter on the desks taking up space. The charging ports are far away from the bed. Clean adequate room and bathroom and deep bath. Well worth the price and stay.
Loved our stay at Sakura Fleur Aoyama! The location is amazing. It’s less than a 10 min walk to Shibuya Scramble and has so many dining, bar, and shopping options any direction you walk. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.
Nice location and big space for a hotel in the Shibuya area
A/C Not Great
The A/C barely worked at all (we had it max speed minimum temp) so the room was way too hot to sleep in. Was fine otherwise with a fun vibe
Boutique Hotel in Shibuya
We loved this boutique hotel in Shibuya! Cute decor and a short walk to everything Shibuya has to offer. Close to Shibuya Station which is a main train/subway hub. Super quiet and reasonably priced. Highly recommend and we definitely would book this hotel again on a future trip to Tokyo!
Room was relatively large for Tokyo at a good price. Close to Shibuya station. Very helpful staff.
Wonderful! Would stay here again :)
Staff was extremely polite and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again. Location was central to Shibuya and shopping, but very quite.
Right in the heart of Shibuya, but was a quiet and clean respite from the crowds. The staff was very nice during check in. The one odd thing for this place was that you needed to give them your room key every time you left and get it every time you came back in. This was a bit of a hassle, but overall wasn't a big issue.
Too small, very limited facilities. Staff were helpful.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the amazing hospitality
Very nice service, small but nice place for stay.
The staff were really helpful, looked after our luggage on arrival and departure days and received a complimentary bottle of water every evening. Easy travel access from local station to wider Tokyo areas and Narita Express to airport.
Very pleasant stay, the location is excellent and the staff are so accommodating and lovely. I would definitely return here because of my beautiful experience.
Very nice place
All good, as described. Close to restaurants, bars etc. and the crazy scramble intersection.
Very comfortable. Staff were very nice
It is what you pay for and more. For the location and service you receive , it's a great value. As expected the room was small but still great for the cost and location. We did have one problem and it was that any time we took a shower it would fog up the whole room and leave it muggy. We called the front desk and they instantly resolved the issue by giving us the window key to air out the room. Overall the staff was very hospitable, the location is amazing (close to a few great subways lines and Shibuya), and there were many small amenities that felt very welcoming.
This hotel is within walking distance to all points of interest such as Shibuya Crossing, Harajuku, trains stations that take you anywhere in Tokyo. Staff is one of the most nicest folks I have ever encountered. They will go above and beyond to meet your needs. Rooms are standard, feels like a studio/bedroom. It has a home vibe. If you are looking for a place where you can just crash after enjoying a whole day in the city, this is the hotel you need to book!
Beautiful hotel in a great location! Would recommend staying here.
Great central location in Shibuya.
Great central location - a short walk from the Shibuya Scramble and close to Shibuya Station. Friendly, professional service and a clean, well equipped, quiet room, if a little tired in terms of decor and fittings. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.
Excellent location with great service
Great Japanese hospitality, we arrived early and was able to check by 1pm. The place was clean and they gave us extra pillows on request. Terrific location to Shibuya Station, crossing and many restaurants. We would choose this place again.
Shibuya stay
Booked hotel at last minute and found it to be clean and comfortable. Older than most hotels that I normally stay in but all the amenities were in working order including the free WiFi. We would definitely stay here again.
Very convienent location
Charming hotwl
Great location. Quaint and charming hotel. Good value for the money. Very close to the Kyoto station and shopping. Quiet place in the heart of Kyoto.
Staff were helpful and spoke good English. Easy access to Shibuya Station.
Everything was in a nice, kind of Victorian style.
Great location but a bit dated
Great location - close to the Shibuya station, famous Shibuya crossing and Hachiko statue. We had a nice view on Shibuya skyscrappers from our room. The service was great - very nice staff. Room was in a good condition, but a bit dated. Bathroom was quite small and there were some mould marks. A/C wasn't working even though it was quite cold - the staff explained that it's centrally operated and heating was turned off.
We had room 718, a corner room and stayed for 6 nights. We found the room abit on the smaller size, but it is Tokyo and it is in Shibuya. Had a window but no view. Facilities were all good, everything worked well and staff were helpful. We asked where we could find natto for breakfast and staff were helpful in making recommendations. They had some complimentary shower stuff at front reception which was useful. Only real downside was the lighting in the room, it was not bright enough, which made it difficult at night when trying to find /do things. And understand the theme of the hotel was kind of antique in style but think it could be improved with a bit of a makeover.
It’s a very old, Victoria-esq themed hotel. There is only one old traditional physical key to the room and you have to hand it back to the front staff every time you leave the hotel to go out for dinner, smoke, etc. The hotel is centrally located in shinbuya and walking distance to the infamous Shibuya Crossing intersection, apparently the busiest intersection in Japan (and the world). Staff are friendly and they give you complementary bottled water as long as you’re a guest. Once checked out a minute later, you’re out of luck, no more bottled water for you. That’s disappointing.
The hotel was in a great location. We loved the cute decor and the friendly staff gave us the best experience.
Very friendly staff and great location. Was the perfect base to explore Shibuya-Ku. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Fantastic location, very friendly staff that knew a lot of English, clean room, everything about Sakura Fleur was great!
The room was comfortable and provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The staff was so nice and very helpful. also, it is in a great location. I highly recommend!
Great location Attentive staff Clean room Good shower
Sakura Fleur is very close to Shibuya crossing and the staff were extremely friendly and spoke English really well. They will also hold your luggage the day of your arrival before check in and the day of check out after you have checked out. The room is very cute and well put together. However, the bathroom was a step up to get into for the room we were in. This would make it difficult for people with leg/knee problems. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again! Excellent service and location!
Great location and would happily stay here again. Room has enough space to put two luggages on the floor. Staff are very friendly.
This hotel is at a great location! The staff are friendly and the room is as expected.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Nice location!
Super friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient area close to train & bus station, Shibuya crossing, Yoyogi Park, shopping and restaurants. You do need to use the stairs at the overpass right outside the hotel to get to the main attractions.
Very good hotel, convenient and clean
It's a great place to stay if you plan the trip near Shibuya or Shinjuku area. The location is good and allowing me to access restaurants, coffee shops and convenient stores within 3 min walking distance. ~7 mins walks to Shibuya JR station, good enough. Room is clean with fair space for business trip. Service is also nice. I was used to choose chain business hotel such as Toyoko-inn. However, I don't think I will do that again. I will choose this hotel again when I visit Tokyo next year. It is a nice experience to stay in this hotel.
spacious vintage hotel
positives: was better than expected, pictures made it appear more quaint but it had charm in person. The room was very spacious and had good view. Hotel gave water in the lobby which was a plus as well. Cons: Was uphill hike from Shibuya station but still close enough to the action.
Good location
Good location and the staff are extremely helpful!
Great staff, okay rooms for the price
Great staff made this hotel stand out, location is 10 mins walk to Shibuya station, albeit with a couple flights of stairs if you have heavy baggage and a little to close to taxi if you decided you didn’t want to walk. Room was okay, only one very thin pillow with the room was the biggest downside I could find, we never had a chance to enquiry if they had more as we kept forgetting each morning and it was late each night when we got back. Staff kept our luggage before and after our stay so we could explore unhindered.
Loved this place. Great location away from the crowds of the lake area, and carefully restored with fresh carpentry by the owner who is clearly a talented designer.
Great hotel staff! location is quite good.
The most impressive thing about the hotel is the staff. They are kind and helpful and polite. The location is quite good, especially if you walk there by Hikarie. The best way to go there from Shibuya is from the Hachiko exit or through Hikarie. The Shibuya station is undergoing some works now so it can be a bit confusing. You will have to cross an overhead bridge so if you are unable to do that with a luggage that might be a problem. There is a 7-11 at the next building. For the price, I am happy with this hotel! But if I had more money to spare, I would opt for a better hotel that is even nearer to the station and has better bed and pillows,
Lovely hotel in good location with excellent service.
Amazing staff!
We stayed in this hotel for 11 days and we loved it! Pros: -Wonderful, helpful, english-speaking staff! They even help me with luggage service -Great amenities (they even provide bath puff for you at the desk) -Daily bottled water -Less than 10min walk from Shibuya station Cons: -From the Shibuya station, you have to cross an overpass to get to the hotel (which means stairs!!) I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Nice hotel, close to amenities attentive staff , excellent cleaning of room.
No fuss stay for the week
Value for money property. Staff were friendly, and the hotel had basic amenities.
Boutique hotel
Comfortable room but decor rather dated. Toilet/shower room module rather awkward to enter and exit due to different levels/step.
Good hotel in a great location
Sakura Fleur is in an excellent location near Shibuya station. Many restaurants and coffee shops are within a short walk. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
Would recommend :-) Kawaii
Felt very safe as a solo female traveler in this area. Staff was very kind and prompt. Even offered a complimentary water bottle each time I returned- greatly appreciated. And let's not forget how adorable those French style rooms are! :-D only negative was the beds were a little firmer than I am used to, but still a good night's sleep for sure.
Shibuya Special
Great well priced hotel near the station and central Shibuya
Good Business Option
I was in Sibuya for business. this hotel is in a great location and close to public transport and all the facilities that Shibuya has to offer. The hotel is a littel dated compared to some but the satff were more than helpful and nothing was to much trouble, room was clean tidy and bed very comfortable. Great value for money.
Sweet abode in Shibuya
Centrally located in Shibuya, this sweet little hotel is perfect for a few nights. The rooms are simple, not luxurious, but all the necessities are there, including a hot water kettle, herbal tea and a fridge. Probably not up to expectations for the business traveler used to a certain standard at chain hotels and may need other amenities, but works well for someone who's not looking for cookie cutter. There is also a breakfast place attached. I didn't use it, but it looked nice. Some rooms in the hotel are smoking rooms, so be careful to specify non-smoking if that is needed.
Nice location and close to Shibuya station.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. We were able to find it easy from Shibuya station and was great spot for us to move around. Would definitely recommend it to people.
Nice stay in Shibuya
Old fashioned fussy decor but space was ok in bedroom. The tiny bathroom would be a challenge for talk people as it is so small. Location off side streets but not far from shibuya crossing, Omotesando street and shibuya station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cafe served nice breakfast!
Great location and great staff
The staff were kind and helpful. They always greeted me with professional hospitality.
Clean rooms. Great staff Would stay again. Great location minutes away from the train station
A very nice hotel, located 10 minutes from Shibuya
Very nice
Room was pretty small. Hotel staff was friendly, hard to get a taxi though
Good value for a small hotel in Shibuya
Small boutique hotel for a good value, rooms were fairly small (though rooms in Japan are typically smaller than in the US) and bathrooms not made for tall people (you can't sit in bathtub with legs in front of you unless you're 5'3" or shorter and same with the mirror being quite low). Décor is pretty dated, an antique feel, but it is clean and service is good. Shibuya area is very convenient for eating and shopping, and the train station is just a few minutes to walk.
Nice stopover.
Clean. Friendly. Good location. Rooms small and can feel cramped if you have large suitcases. Best get breakfast out...plenty of places to get food nearby.
great location wonderful staff.
Perfect location close to all areas. Amazing staff .
Quiet and close to Shibuya Station
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's very quiet and I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, the room was really cute and I loved the friendly staff. Lots of cafes and combinis around. Almost everything that others have said about this hotel is true but I find the no guest policy understandable. It was no problem for me. I think it keeps the hotel safe and the hallways quiet. I am an alternative looking Asian with very little Japanese speaking skills and the staff was 100% professional and welcoming of me which I really appreciated. I came in a little drunk a few nights and was always offered water and treated very nicely. You can find a coin laundry about 10 minutes walking from the Shibuya crossing. Every day it was an easy 6 minute walk to the Shibuya Station and about a 12 to 15 minute walk to Harajuku. I will stay here again.
Nice room in the city
It was a nice room, not big or small, good size, clean, quite location, close to the city, easy walk to the train station or to the bus, the staff are very friendly, speaking good English, wiling to help and advise, you can keep your luggage after check out for as long as you want.
Large rooms the major attraction
This was a nice hotel with large rooms for an moderately priced Tokyo hotel. Not quite as accessible to Shibuya Station as I would have liked. But would stay here again.
Slightly Baroque style with a traditional feel- polite staff as you'd expect and having to hand in the key was a blast from the past.
Nice cozy, good value for money, location close to center but just not too much
Nice hotel with spacious room for tokyo
Hotel was great and not too far from the shopping area. If you have luggage to carry it can be quite challenging. To cross the road to get to the hotel you have to use the overhead bridge with quite steep and long steps.
Slightly disappointing
Good location, although walking from Shibuya Station was a little more complicated than we had expected, even tho we have been to this area multiple times in the past. Room was small and plain. The bar/restaurant rarely seemed to be open. Nothing really wrong, but we were expecting something more interesting and comfortable.
Business
Good location for access to Hikarie and Shibuya station. Only drawback walking across the street via pedestrian ramp. Need to walk up across and then down each time to cross street. Room small but standard for the area. Staff very friendly and attentive. Need to leave key each time you leave the premises and no guests allowed in room. Good for security. Quiet area but close enough to busy Shibuya district. 7-11 half block away to buy my coffee.
Great location
Rooms are compact but quaintly decorated and very clean. Staff are excellent and the location is perfect for experiencing the Shibuya shopping district on foot. It is also really close to Shibuya station.
Perfect location with Perfect service
Hotel was a 5 min walk to Shibuya Crossing. Perfect location near train station. Hotel staff was very kind and friendly. Also attached is a fine little restaurant. I will stay here again.
good location you want to go shopping
the hotel is located between Shibuya and omote-sando. walking to both station is around 8-10mins, the only thing is that the slope going from Shibuya Station to the hotel is steep and long. if you have many luggage, much better walk from Omotesando although is bit far from there. Beside the hotel is a small mall with Nissan rent-a-car.
Great location
Perfect stay as the location is right in the heart of Shibuya. The hotel staff are so friendly and the room was very comfortable and suited our needs. Certainly will stay when we travel to the area again.
Convenient, comfortable, and friendly hotel!
Very friendly and attentive staff. We received two free vouchers for a drink on the hotel. Always gave us water bottles when we returned to the lobby. The rooms are small, but it's a boutique hotel and for a good nights sleep it was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. Boutique hotels are usually small anyways, so if you want something bigger, go to the Hilton lol. Lastly, the hotels location is down the street to Shibuya and very close to the famous crossing. Overall our stay at this hotel was amazing and I have fantastic memories of my stay here in Tokyo.
Great location with friendly staff
Staff and location are great. Room is good size, comfortable and clean compared to some other for Tokyo hotel eg room sizes. However the smell of cigarettes from other rooms wafting through the bathroom vents was sickening at times.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Great location.
Tokyo in may 2017
the staff were great, spoke English well and were very helpful
The hotel is in the nicest cute part of Shibuya.
The hotel was easy to find with Google maps. The staff all spoke good English, and the Japanese breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are much smaller than we expect from Australia, but I knew that ahead of time. (One side of the double bed is against a wall). All in all, a great place to stay, and would stay there again.
Great location, staff and room facilities!
We stayed here for 5 nights and had a very good experience. The hotel was a short walk from Shibuya Station and the famous Shibuya Crossing. The staff were very friendly and were very accomodating to all of our requests. They also offered free water at the start or end of each day. Highly recommend staying here!
superb location and excellent service
hotel is in a very convenient area for sightseing being on Yamanote line and Shibuya is a very happening place. excellent arrangements
Not far from the shibuya station. Good
So far overall ok. Just the soundproof not tat ok. Midnite can heard beside were talking.
Good!
Good location nice hotel overall somewhat noisy though as our room was facing main street but not big deal very much recommended !
Comfortable & Efficient
Efficient hotel. Amenities are basic but works. Staff are AWESOME! Need English News channel. Otherwise, good, efficient, comfortable.
Old and not so convinient
Not pleasant. Hotel doesn't accept kids under 13. It's an old hotel. Access wise isn't that convinient as you need to climb a pedestrian bridge directly in fromt of the hotel to go to station and back. If you travel with kids and lots of suitcases best to look other hotels.
Good value place near Shibuya station.
I stayed for several days in Shibuya at Sakura Fleur Aoyama.
Convenient and Clean
It is in a great spot, a short walk from the station
great location and place to stay!
the price is right for this location. It is about a 5min walk to Shibuya station. The bed is comfortable and the hotel staff is very nice.
Nice boutique style hotel with great service
Nice hotel, good location close to central Shibuya but quiet at night
Comfortable Hotel close to shibuya station
-Teapot in room with hot plate/steamer -Shower not for anyone tall ok for 5'8" Or less as bathroom inserted into room after the fact. -Pjs provided
We arrived really late so have not got much chance to enjoy the hotel. But the room was comfortable and cozy.
Convenient and comfortable.
For Tokyo a great bargain in my favorite part of city. Small but comfortable room. Gracious and helpful staff. Could add coffee to room amenities.
Nice and clean and neat Shibuya.
Close enough to Shibuya station to walk. Nice clean place. I'd stay there again.

We thought they stole our DJI Osmo Pocket 2 but it was actually in one of our shoes the whole time. (Sorry). Yall are the best!
