Nicecy Saigon Hotel

This is an older hotel. Saigon is polluted and is risky crossing the streets as drivers don’t seem to care to stop for pedestrians. We all got sick eating in the best of restaurants. Do not recommend.

The staff is very good and helpful, the location is ok, however the room lacks proper maintenance and the towels present holes often times

Neighborhood feel right in the heart of District 1

Excellent 2-3 star hotel Owners and Staff attentive and helpful ! Fulllfilling breakfast buffet! The location can be deceiving; the hotel looks out on a quite street. One feels like they’re in a neiborhood if sorts only to be surprised that merely two blocks away are masses of shopping, restaurants and sights to see. Excellent!

Terrible room in a good spot

Airconditioner would not cool the room, staff really could not have cared less! I was only there for a few hours until I left for airport but after freshly showering still left covered in sweat!

The hotel is very well located in a quiet street, 2 short blocks away from the main downtown area. Rooms (with window) are comfortable, clean, cheap laundry service. The breakfast is good quality and the lobby is always nice and cool. Attention is impeccable... Really a great hotel, especially for the price..

Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast Was a joke. But the hotel is pretty cheap so can't expect much. 2 star hotel. I don't think they change the bed sheets between guests.

Will be back again

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The wifi is decent (over 10 Mbps speedtest). The rooms are large, and the shower has good water pressure. There is some loud music in the morning (no idea where from or why) and some construction nearby that you can hear on occasion. Overall a decent place for the price.

Is ok for a short stay. Sound insulation between rooms could be improved. Wifi works well. Bed- and bathroom ok. Simple good vietnamese breakfast. Staff is very polite.

Value hotel

Like the hotel for its strategic location in HCMC. Shopping area within walking distance. Hotel recommended a restaurant that serves delicious vietnamese Pho and snacks nearby. Breakfast is simple, sufficient and good spread. Great value for money. Safe vicinity

GREAT LOCATION AND VALUE

Great location and staff. Some building work going on somewhere in the hotel but only during the day and temporary. Cheapest room had no window but everything else including a/c so no problem for me. When in the bathroom you could hear the neighbouring room guests (if they were in their bathroom which is adjacent to you). I mean you can hear everything. It seems to come through the bathroom extraction fan. A bit worrying until you leave the bathroom close the door and put the a/c on in the bedroom. Then you can't hear anything so sleeping isn't ever going to be affected and then the bathroom noise becomes a very minor issue indeed. Overall great value and comfort for the money.

Nice little hotel

Clean, comfortable. For having a nightclub next door, there was minimal noise. Room was clean, towels were nice and fresh. Bed a little firm, but that is Asia. Wifi was fast (25 Mbps)

Reasonable hotel for the money, good location next to club, but if you want to sleep early at night that may not be good! Staff did their best to make my stay a good one. Windows don't open and so it is not so good for smokers... Would stay again.

Superior Double Room is not 40 m2, is 25 m2

When I arrived, they were overbooked and tried to walk me to Dong Du Hotel, which is a half a block away, but is a 1 star hotel, and the room was only 10 m2. I declined because I had booked a 3 star hotel with a 40 m2 room. The bellboy walked me back, and then all of a sudden, they had my room. I booked the Superior Double Room on Hotels.com listed as 40 m2. The room they gave me was only 25 m2. The receptionist wouldn't believe when I told her that their Superior Double Room was not 40 m2. She insisted that the manager had measured and verified the room size. I will post up photos and measurements so you can see for yourself. The room had no windows to see the outside world, only a 1 foot, by 3 foot opaque glass pane near the top of the ceiling so you could tell if there was daylight or not. They have a water kettle and hot water cups in the room, but no coffee or tea bags. There's an ashtray in the room, so that means they allow smoking in the rooms. That would be good or bad depending on if you are a smoker, or not. There's a working ethernet port in the room for when the wifi is failing and you need fast internet. Walk out the hotel, turn left and you have the Apocalypse night club. Turn right, and you have massage, and a Japanese Hostess bar. Go straight and you will hit Starbucks. I would say the location is good.

Good location!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Comes equipped with a jacuzzi tub, but it's not maintained at all. Overall room is nice for a few nights stay.

Good budget accommodation

The staff were great but there needs improvement in the morning breakfast. It was often cold and limited choice.

Good Location, hard bed

Over all is good. Close to shopping area, good restaurant and tourist attractions. Only one thing I don't impressed is the bed; it's so hard like sleeping on the floor.

Great Location

The hotel itself is an easy walk into the city centre and likewaise from the river if you want to take a day or night cruise. Reasonable value for money however breakfast was a let down as there was no food available when we went down 30 minutes before service finished and the bathroom needs to be finished to an acceptable standard (the bath wasn't fitted to the wall properly). The staff were helpful and di their best and the room was quite clean.

You get what you pay for I suppose

This is one of the cheaper hotels in HCMC, but not by much - everything around there is pretty reasonable aside from the super luxury hotels. *note, this review is for Ho Sen 2, I have not stayed at Ho Sen 1, which was next door* Upon arrival, I was initially offered a room that was a step down from what I paid for, and had to go renegotiate to get the one I'd purchased. Then once I got my suite (at the reasonable price of $38/night), it advertised a king sized bed, and gave me two twins pushed together. It's a thing that happens in asia, but should be noted, as it was quite uncomfortable if you slept anywhere but on one twin or the other. The shower was consistently inconsistent, varying between scalding hot and freezing cold, and I twice in my stay found rat droppings on the edge of the tub, which was meant to be a jacuzzi, but was just a tub with some rusty jets in it that I dared not use, especially since when others were showering or whatever, water would bubble up into my tub, which definitely turned me off the idea of ever using the tub as a tub. (note: my friend speculated it could've been gecko droppings I saw, but it seemed too large to me). At 7 AM, the intermittent hammering began. What they were hammering on I don't know, but it didn't sound like normal construction as it was so sporadic. It wasn't knocking pipes, definitely hammering. It seemed to go on whenever anyone felt like picking one up and banging on something, and the walls of the room were incredibly thin, so I could even hear the conversation of the couple next door - the hammering sounded like it was happening in the room. In the end, the location was good, and I didn't die, and the bed was clean. But otherwise I would not particularly recommend.

The elevator did not work during our stay. There was no information in advance. I entered the room after being told that they would change me to a larger room, but the change was not made until the end.

安くて便利な場所

所々に古臭くて部屋全体が暗い。スタッフもやる気なさそうな感じであった。コスパ、利便性を考えれば許せる範囲かな。

TVが2台あったが、片方が壊れていた。

部屋の家具類はバランスを欠き、使い勝手もわるく、セーフティボックも利用出来ない。又、バスも狭い。設備に比較して、料金が高すぎる。

オススメ

安くて快適です

朝食は可もなく不可もなく。ご飯はいつもパサパサしている。 部屋は悪くはないが、夜は偶にボイラーの音が聞こえていた。 清掃は丁寧に行われていてよかった。

一区で一番のお気に入りホテル

値段が手頃で、窓があって、温かいお風呂が約束されているスーペリアルームに 毎回 泊まります。　　　バスタブやコンセントなど、以前調子の悪かった設備が補修され、タオルも新調。バスタブの縁のカビの補修もなされていて、毎回 快適度が上がります。　　　ホーチミンにいる時は もう 自分の家みたいな気分です。　　　　　　スタッフの皆さんフレンドリーですが、特に ベッドメーキングの女性は言葉が通じなくても、笑顔で 会釈され、こちらが襟を正されます。　　　　　　朝食も おいしいです。　　　いつも思うのですが、ここのサンドイッチが好きなのですが、乾燥してしまうので、蓋かラップをかけて置いてほしいです。　　　　　　滞在中、体調を崩して１日半も ホテルに缶詰な日がありましたが、高層階に泊まれましたので、街並みとサイゴン川も少し見え、今までこのホテルを利用し続けてきた中では絶景でした。散策できない日でもベトナムに来ているんだ♪　といった実感を損なうことなく、気持ちよく過ごせました。　　　　　　私は中年ですので お恥ずかしいですが、レセプションに すごいハンサムな男性がいるので、その人に応対されると、自分の英語力の低さも相まって、緊張してしまいます （>∇<；）

ドンコイ通りに近く便利歩いてどこにでも行ける。

アメニティは良かったのですが、タオルは染みなどがあったので、潔癖な方は持参をオススメします。

Sentralt hotell i rolig strøk

Hotellet ligger i en litt rolig del av byen, ikke så mye trafikk og ikke så mange gateselgere. Likevel nok av restauranter/barer og muligheter for shopping. Hjelpsom betjening på hotellet.

Good for a short stay kind of Hotel

Well kept little hotel but with bad sound insulation from the corridor. Minor flaws in my room such as a ridiculously noisy fan in bathroom. Location good. Breakfast not worth the effort really.

至って普通のホテル 口コミでペットボトルの水置いてあるのは良い、と見ましたが、実際はメニュー本にある通り有料です。ドンコイ通りに近く観光しやすいのはいいと思う

観光するには良い場所です。 ホテルは値段相当の部屋です。 良い点は 立地がどこに行くにも便利。 古さはあるが清潔感がある。 アメニティは揃ってる 無料の水が4本も入ってる 悪い点 シャワーのお湯が出ない テレビの電源がつかない エアコンのリモコンが故障していて温度調整ができない。 今回はトランジットで一泊だけだったので特にこまりはしませんでしたが、 数泊するのであれば別のホテルにすると思います。

繁華街に近いわりには静かなホテルです。 目の前にコンビニがあるので便利ですが、夜遅いと食べ物ありません。
