Good for an overnight stay

We only stayed for a few hours as we had to wait for our flight which was at 10:30pm. We’re a family with a 2.5yo and 8month old so we already had our hands full. The service was great, they helped us with all our luggage in and out of the hotel. They even hailed a taxi and negotiated a fare for us. We stayed in a standard room, so it had the basics, was probably a bit small for all of us. The TV was not clear but the wifi was good. The location is close to the airport, but it is on an inconvenient side to go to the airport and into the city, we had to continually do u-turns which were pretty far down the road.

The room was lit up by light 24 /7,desperatly needs blockout curtains and the airconditioner was in need of a good clean and service,better still replace it with new one.

A room without a view... the amenities and facilities were fine, but the room had no window. The Hotels.com ad did not indicate this in the listing for this room (although it did for other cheaper rooms listed).

For those who have vn girlfriend,this hotel.is not couple friendly if u knw what I mean. I am been force to book another 'room' for her.

Hotel was pretty nice overall. They need to have rooms ready, been here twice and both times had to wait for rooms when checked in later than 2pm.

Close to the airport

Just a 10 minute walk to the airport and breakfast included. Such great value for a deluxe room. The beds were a bit hard but you can't complain when you need to be at the spirit quickly. No cab would take us, but the walk wasn't too bad.

Not worth the cheap price

We specifically stayed here because it said free shuttle to the airport - not true. They have no shuttle though getting a cab to and from was not hard. The bed was hard and had just two small pillows, which was not comfortable for my biyfriend or myself. The air conditioner on lights were so bright they lit up our whole room. I never wished for an eye mask while sleeping more than staying here. The sink drained really slowly and was a pain when we were both trying to use the bathroom. There were men talking very loudly in the halls all night long and early in the morning. There was also loud banging and slamming of doors. I wanted something cheap and easy to get to the airport. It was that but not much else.

nice, close to the airport

dissapointed with breakfast. they tried to charge 30% for turning up early despite emailing them requesting early check in which they confirmed ok. In the they did not charge. Overall very good. definately recond.

Convenient to airport, clean and safe.

I needed something near the airport that was comfortable and affordable. This was a great match and was clean and safe with easy access to airport.

Standard hotel

Clean rooms and linen. Only disappointing was the restaurant opening hours which serve hotel breadfast and bar operates from 2 to 6pm only.

Not bad at this rate but few points that the Hotel management MUST look in. 1) Do not serve overnight Balcon 2) Please clean up the bed bugs 3) Can they provide a safe? I will try again this Dec as it near to the airport ....Good luck

Econo Lodge Vietnamese style

My son & i stayed because 1. Inexpensive 2. Very close to airport Its clean and very basic. Our room did not have a window. Strange but makes for quiet sleeping. Spend more, get more, but this was fine for our needs as we were out on tours, etc

Great hotel, blocks from airport.

Excellent hotel just a few blocks from airport. I had a late arriving flight from Hong Kong that was further delayed due to mechanical problems plus weather. I arrived at the hotel after 2am. Staff was asleep on the sofa but after waking them, was no problem getting checked in. Good restaurant next door serving Vietnamese food plus inexpensive beer. Hotel is a bit pricey by Vietnamese standards but worth the peace of mind when arriving very late.

A Clean Hotel Meeting Your Basic Rooming Needs

We were seeking a hotel where we could rest for a few hours until we could board our river cruise. We were an early morning arrival. The hotel met this need. We did not find the front desk very helpful in meeting our needs. We needed to ask them several times to please contact the cruise and find the exact location of the departing berth. We requested that they call a cab and to make sure that the driver spoke enough English to communicate and that he was familiar with the port. Neither of those occurred and we spent an extra 35 minutes trying to find the port location. Also, at the restaurant for the free breakfast, the food was good, but the waiter did not understand enough English to bring us butter. I had to find someone who did, We walked around the area awhile in this very commercial area. The traffic was intense as we tried to cross the street to a nearby park. There was not stop light or stop sign. There was really nothing to do in this neighborhood. The price was reasonable for the room and amenities. They had Christmas decorations in January that amused us. There were some lovely French Colonial that remained and were now used as businesses.

Standard rooms have no windows or daylight

An airport hotel needs to tell customers that their 'standard rooms' have no windows, I'd have paid more or gone elsewhere. Last thing you want after getting off a late long-haul flight is the unreal limbo of a room isolated from all sunlight. Half plate of fried rice fried in a ladle of oil + half cup of cold coffee easily the worst breakfast in 20 days travelling. (Be wary, as even their 'de-luxe' rooms do not show or mention a window)

Stayed here a night in transit. Cheap and cheerful enough aircon good but front rooms would be noisy. We had back room which was quiet. Breakfast basic.

OK for the price

Lots of cheap hotels in the area. None look great. This one is OK. Staff was not very friendly on our arrival. We had booked via Hotels.com and they had computer trouble so they told us to wait. After 15 mins we left our bags and went to a restaurant for dinner. When we returned they let us in our room. Its clean and does what its supposed to, but I wouldnt stay here long.

Overnight stay

Overnight stay in-between flights. Room was large clean and comfortable but no windows.The restaurant offered a light menu.Overall the hotel worked fine for me as it was close to SGN and a 5:30am flight. Would recommend.

Great location to airport

We needed a hotel for our last night in Vietnam close to the airport. It suited us well. As it is on the main street, there is noise that comes through the windows, but it is a busy city. As we needed to leave before breakfast was to be served , the hotel staff were going to accommodate an early breakfast to suit us as we had already paid for it in our stay which was nice of them but we had to make our flight. Overall, it was a suitable hotel for what we paid for.

Great airport hotel

Was looking for a convenient airport hotel to lay-over between an early evening internatinal flight arrival, early morning domestic flight departure. The hotel fit the bill perfectly! It was a very good value, friendly and clean. Beds were comfortable, good (free) wifi, and good water pressure. There are many small eating establishments within a couple minutes walking distance. It is possible to walk (about 10 minutes) from the airport, which we did on arrival, but we took a taxi back to the airport in the early morning (5am) for about $2 (50,000 Dong). We would definately stay here again.

Hotel to avoid

We went there 3 guys, 1 girl and booked 3 rooms. Hotel staff asked more money for female guest which didn't make sense as we had 3 rooms. After arguing for quite sometime he had nothing to say.

Good place for one night stay near airport before

We needed a place to stay for one night before moving on to the coast the next morning. The hotel was very adequate for this purpose as it's near the airport and provides an airport pick up for 10 usd.

Lovely hotel close to airport

We just stayed here to be close to the airport for a flight the next morning, but we really enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a huge room with two double beds and a lovely modern bathroom. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The neighbourhood isn't fantastic - a busy road with lots of chain restaurants and bars - but we found a great Thai restaurant around the corner which had a good veggie selection.

Sad to happy

I was very pleased with the hotel and room. Coming from what can only be described as sad, this hotel was much happier! Although the tub could have been cleaner, the rest of the room was very clean, very comfortable, and had a great view.

Affordable, clean stay near the airport

We needed a room near the hotel for one night, and this hotel definitely served its purpose. The room was very clean and close to the airport. The staff checked us in promptly. Doesn't have the charm of the hotels in District 1, but is great for a short, cheap overnight stay conveniently located right by the airport.

Only stayed over night for an early flight the next morning, room spacious and clean, the room was very noisey and we didn't get much sleep but that was mainly due to over night road works directly outside the hotel otherwise it's probly ok left to early to sample breakfast. We asked for a 3am wake up call which we never got fortunately we'd set our own alarm as we would have missed our flight

A great hotel if one arrives late in the airport.

Super close to the airport and good value.

We booked this hotel because we had a 12 hour overnight layover and we just wanted a cheap easy hotel. This definitely fit the bill and was actually nicer than we expected. It was literally 3-4 minutes drive from the airport. Our room had two double beds which is what we needed for a family of four. The staff was nice, the room was large (almost too large), and everything was clean. There were even a few restaurants within walking distance and we didn't expect that.

Great Location for Transit

The location was great, and the room was rather good for the money. Somewhat odd on how to lock the door, and the room had not totally been cleaned. They could not find my booking initially, but the staff handled it very well and I was in my room within minutes. I would stay there again.

I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on the night of Tet and we had a late check-in. Everyone at the hotel exhibited a wonderful and professional atmosphere and were really patient with my questions!

Close to airport.

Excellent hotel if you need to stay close to the airport, only five minutes away. We found the hotel to be very good, the staff were friendly and efficient, no problems with checkin, lots of smiles and helpful advise. Our room was excellent, clean and comfortable, good shower, the bed was good to sleep in, we had a good nights sleep.

Ok hotel for a night stay

Just stayed here for a night because I arrived late in HCMC. The room is clean and nice but the walls are very thin. You can hear noises from the other rooms. Breakfast is nothing special. Staff are accomodating. Location is close to the airport but not close enough to the City. There's a lot of restaurants across the hotel so that's a plus.

2 minutes from airport by taxi, 12 min walk

We stayed here on two occasions in the deluxe and superior room on the 8th floor (highest). Both rooms were pleasantly clean with a newly renovated bathroom. It's literally 2 minutes out of the gate of the airport but you could walk if you wish. The hotel provide items such as toothbrush/paste, shower cap, cotton ear sticks and other essential items. Great addition! The beds were clean and we had a very comfortable sleep with the air conditioner on high. It's great for short term stays!

Bathtubs in photos are not real

Booked a Deluxe double because I was looking for a room with a bathtub. Upon check-in, hotel staff said the Deluxe double room has a problem and they provided me a "free upgrade" to a Suite Twin which looked like a Deluxe Twin to me based on Expedia's photos.

Step up from basic hotel, close to Airport

Nice hotel for the night after arriving 1 am from the airport. Very close to airport. Friendly staff. Clean, basic room. I did not have a window, so that was unsettling. Neighborhood a bit rough, but maybe not by Saigon standards. Nice little adjoining restaurant for a light breakfast, included. Good value ($28) and condition for one night stay.

A one night stay. Really close to the airport, clean room with comfortable bed. Tried to book a city tour trip via the hotel the day before but the receptionist on shift that day struggled with English and my Vietnamese was worse so we used email. The receptionist called a tour guide who quoted a ridiculous price (it was over Tet). So I decided to find my own tour on the day. When I checked out however a different receptionist showed me a tour leaflet on the reception bar and the trip was ideal and perfect price so I booked it for that afternoon. Not quite sure what happened with receptionist the day before?!! Check which receptionist you have :-)

There was some miscommunication with our reservations, but we were delayed and missed our connecting flight. We reserved a room for three people but when we got there (4am) they did not have our original reservation. I had a flight out in a few hours, so I just slept in a standard room with two of my other friends. Luckily, they did not charge us for an additional night, however, we over paid for the room. The location was very close to the hotel (30 dong).

Marginal Bed and Near the Airport

The most uncomfortable mattress I have slept on ever at a hotel. Walking distance to the airport. No iron available. Would work in a pinch situation, but would not choose again.

The best bargain on my trip.

I arrived late at night and check in was efficient. I was quickly escorted to my room. Although a bit small, it was very comfortable, clean. The bathroom was modern, clean, and large, with a spacious shower. Breakfast was included, eggs, toast coffee, bacon. Al of this for under $50. I'd been traveling in Asia for a month and it was the best bargain of the trip. Close to the airport, taxi was a $3 USD ride

Perfect airport stay over

We needed a hotel close to airport as we arrived late and was flying out again early. Perfect for this occasion. We even walked from the airport, took about 15 mins, straight down the main road. Receptionist was very helpful and printed out ideas for our next destination.

Perfect layover hotel

Ten minute walk from the airport or a three dollar cab ride. Perfect for a long layover between flights. I booked in for the whole day rather than a night and they accommodated this easily. Room was very clean and quiet. Staff friendly. The walk from the airport can be hairy with all the traffic. As a woman travelling alone this felt safe and convenient.

Will use again

Stayed overnight to catch a morning flight. Good location close to airport - about 60,000 VD fare if you use metered taxi. Nothing fancy but the room was clean and large enough. Staff help as they can. English skills not at high level but can always find a way to communicate needs.

Hotel with a phony 377 square feet of room info

We booked 3 nights for a superior twin room at this hotel from expedia.com that advertised 377 square feet (35 square meters) in room information. After we checked in, to our extreme surprise, we were shown a very small internal room with two twin beds with no window with hardly any room for a person to walk around. It was very stuffy and crammed. I am an mechanical engineer from the U.S. and I know how to estimate with my feet. We quickly questioned the receptionist and were offered an upgrade deluxe room for additional $US 12 per night. We had no choice but stayed and paid for the upgraded room since it was Sunday and there was no management people to talk to. We relayed our issue to the management, but received no response the next two days. We strongly believe that the hotel room measurement was not correct, and that was one of the information that we based our when we decided to book the room. Expedia.com needs to investigate this information to protect travelers and stops doing business with this hotel who provides wrong measurements for all of their room information on the expdia.com website.

Great room and service!

Room was spacious and modern. Staff can speak good English (you will understand how valuable this is when you have been to Vietnam). The bell boy was hard working and had extremely good customer service attitude). The only downside is that the breakfast menu was minimalistic and rude taxi drivers will complain when they pick you up from the airport due to the very short distance

Best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the airport: less than 10 min walking distance. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell, otherwise it was ok for what I needed it for: crash for a few hours between the flights.
