Erfect location and helpful staff

Great location. Central. Reliable, friendly and helpful staff. Decent pool and nice gym. Nice comfortable beds. Good amount of kitchen utensils, pots, iron and board. Will return here for certain.

Another great visit, friendly and helpful staff

Excellent pre-check-in communication by Hisham. Very very responsive / friendly / helpful / accomodating check in and post check in communication too. Washing machine door was broken so we were kindly offered a free laundry service to make up for this. This is 2nd time we have stayed here this year, and always the staff have been very helpful and have made things run smothly forcour family of 4.

When I booked, I was under the impression that I was going to be the sole occupier of a one bed roomed suite/flat. But, the property contacted me, when I was on my way to check-in, to inform me that if I knew it was going to be a shared property. I felt let down immediately. However, I stayed in this 2/3 bedroom property because I was not sure if I refused whether I would incur any cancellation charges. The cleanliness of the property was not good either.

Needs a clean and repair work

Staff were very helpful and organised with checkin, but unfortunately the unit was in major need of both an update (peeling wall paper, towel racks broken etc) and a thorough clean (splatter marks on kitchen walls, dust and grime in corners and along skirting). Location was convenient.

For the location and price the property was well located. The apartment is a bit old and tired. The facilities were to expensive. Overall a good budget place to stay.

Excellent view from the suite, rooms are very spacious and clean. Wish the bathrooms had better lighting, particularly in the sink area, difficult to shave.

Dirty, Unprofessional, Ant & Fruit Fly Infestation

Upon arrival to the property, the check-in process was lengthy. There was one man in charge of checking us in and he was not responsive. The check-in details state to have security call him for check-in however when security was approached about this, they presented confused as to what I was asking them for and grabbed my phone out of my hand to read the “hotel” listing for themself. The man who checked us never responded to our calls/ messages via WeChat. 50min later, he came walking out of the elevator and introduced himself stating he had been in the elevator which is why he did not respond to calls/ messages. Turns out he was lazy and waiting for a second guest to arrive who was checking in to the same floor as us so that he wouldn’t need to make two trips up and down the elevators. When we were shown our room, the place was filled with fruit flies and ants. The shower, toilet and sink were infested with them and the bedroom window was left open. There is no AC in the common areas and it was a usual muggy/ humid day in Malaysia. Ants ravaged the kitchen area, crawling on the countertops and sink. The “toiletries” provided with our stay: hand soap. Nothing else. Only one key is provided regardless of how many people are in your party. Because the common areas are shared, no one can remain inside unless they want to be kicked inside the bedrm. You require a key to leave the bedroom inside.Ido not recommend this property to anyone who cares about cleanliness and comfort.

Great place to stay the restrooms could be a little cleaner. The pool and gym was for an additional fee.

Caveat Emptor

I got what I paid for, but you cannot expect top-tier when you pay low-end. Read the other reviews, especially relating to the room, television, the use of the pool and gym (not included), and quick service.

The location was excellent, the room was clean, the view of KL Tower from the bedroom window was great, the food joints and shopping areas were ample, and the owner was friendly. There was even facilities for washing, ironing and cooking. Only downside is there was no daily housekeeping service.

Good location and value for money. Toilet was quite choked though, otherwise perfect.

Rooms were very clean and tidy, location is excellent, will stay again.

The place is great it is clean. You have a common kitchen and a laundry which is very convenient. The owner was nice and accommodating. We’ll definitely come back.

I like that it’s fairly clean, easy access. Dislike the quality of bed and pillows, TV channels not functioning, irregular wifi.

False property description !!!!!

When I booked this place there was nothing about it being only a room in a shared apartment. When the guy finally showed up to take me to the room he told me in the elevator that if I wanted to use the pool I had to pay! Again not in the ad!! When I complained that the place was misrepresented he called his boss who said the only thing they could do was transfer me to another one of their properties that would cost me 3 times as much! I then got Hotels.com involved and the owner still would not refund one of the nights even though he lied in the advertising of the property. DO NOT STAY AT ANY OF THIS GUYS PROPERTIES!!

Its a Room in an Apartment.

You are given ONE small Bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. The living room is barely furnished. No floor mats are given and the towels are small. The good thing is the price. And definitely not a 4 star. 3 or less.

Excellent stay, place is clean and nice view on a very high floor, though those who commented that this was a sharing apartment, do some research before you book, it can clear all your doubts.

Had a washer so that was nice. Everything was clean and my view from the 53rd floor was nice!

Location and convenience was the best part. The apartment is close to Many attractions and malls all within walking distance. The manager was easily accessible and very helpful.

Cleanliness, amenities and service were so-so.

The TV box doesn't work so there's no TV show for the whole stay, ie 3 days and 2 nights there, even after the staff there fixed it. This thing bothered us for more than one hour. The only clothes hanger, definitely not enough, drops easily. There was only one pair of slippers for two guests. When we asked for another pair, the answer was there was no such need. There was no reception desk for the hotel. Guests need to pay extra for the service, eg swimming pool but the web advertisement didn't mention at all.

The property was pleasant . The main features was that both the Bedrooms had Bathroom and Toilet attached. Most of the attractions were in the walking distance of the property. Over all the experience was good. Next time we visit we try to book Saba Suites at Vortex KLCC.

Good location

While the property was in a great position the description was misleading. You are led to believe it was a private suite when in reality it is just a very small en suite bedroom attached to a shared sparsely fitted kitchen and sitting area. Although the bedroom is air conditioned the shared area wasn’t which made relaxing uncomfortable hot and stuffy. On the plus side the views from the 54th floor overlooking downtown Kuala Lumpur dramatic. You are left feeling let down from what could have been somewhere really special if a bit more effort had been put in.

Shared Apartment not 4 star hotel

When we arrived we were informed that this was not a 4 stat hotel, as advertised on the website. In fact, it was a shared apartment. In addition, they advertise a pool but dont mention that you have to pay extra to use the pool. I was really disappointed by the false expectations that were portrayed on the website.

Very convenient. Lift is slow and has poor ventilation.

Room with city view. You can see Menara KL in front of you. Nice room. Check in was easy. Nearby public transportation. Parking facilities also good. Overall im satisfied. 😉

網紅酒店就是網紅酒店。贊。房間超大，各種電器都有，微波爐，洗衣機，冰箱等等，完全可以自己做飯。門口的大鏡子簡直是自拍神奇。早餐也還不錯，我覺得燕麥片最好吃。樓頂的泳池最佳觀景點，雙子塔和吉隆坡塔都能看到，用廣角鏡頭能把兩個拍到一張照片裏，簡直太愛這個泳池。就是晚上泳池的燈光不適合拍照，藍色把人拍的太醜啦，哈哈哈

This Residence in the heart of Kuala-Lumpur with perfect security and fantastic city view.

Poor check in, very bad service, the room was not clean for 4 days!!! This is a share apartment, no tv, just bed and bathroom, towel didn't changed for 4 days, you can find a much better place in KL with the same price,

Central to KLCC, with many restaurants nearby. MRT/LRT is very close by. Many guests staying at Vortex have no respect for public spaces. They dump their garbage anywhere, cigarette buds all over the place. The corridors are littered with wrappers and so are the lifts. I noticed the management displaying warnings all over the place. If you're a budget traveler and can put a blind eye to the trash all around you, its an ideal location.

Excellent location. Only 1 key and pass to room. Have to pay for use of swimming pool separately.

Nice alternative to 3-4 star hotel in city

The room condition is above average, location is central, near attraction. Appliances are fully equip. Had a pleasant 1day stay with total 5 family member, and it is value for money.

Good stay. They were super nice and very helpful. We originally thought this was for an entire apartment, but you're sharing the living/kitchen area with another guest and you have a private bedroom with bathroom.

Very helpful staff. Central location. Has a seven eleven under the property. Walking distance to everything- Twin tower, taxi rank, eating places. The view from the rooms is quite nice. We were at the 54th floor. Overall very satisfied

the room was slightly smelly.

The Vortex is located in the centre of town and is in a good location. I stayed on a high floor and the views were good. However, I have a few issues with this accommodation. Firstly, I didn’t realise I was effectively sharing a condo with another stranger. There were 2/3 rooms in the unit. The WiFi connectionwas very inconsistent. I did not realise that for me to use the pool & the gym I would have to pay to use these facilities. The hot water in my shower didn’t work either. Added to this, it has the worst car park ever because it is designed so badly and you can easily scrape your car going up & down the car park levels. Will I be staying here again? No is the answer.

Not good hotel policy

As promised, we had a great view of the KLCC Twin Towers as the apartment was on the 54th floor. The apartment was clean, cosy and comfortable but there were some parts that were in need of repair - the doors of the wardrobe were out of the grooves and wall-paper needed replacing. It lacked a hair-dryer as well.

The cleanliness of this property can be better , however i imagine that because of the high turnover of guest and the fact that the building is in actual fact a service apartment, this won't improve. People staying here need to be mindful that this is a "sharing" type accommodations which equates to a dorm-like facilities (common kitchen ,living room etc). As such, privacy may be at a premium

Liked the city view and location. Was surprised by shared living room not mentioned within advertisement. Was not able to lock the door of my room. There are no vault to secure your belongings.

We were supposed to share the unit with unknown people, and they didn't mention anything about the sharing. therefore, it is not recommended for family, and couples. the location of the property is not located in walk way distance to TImes square, and KLCC. we had to take taxi or grab. Very disappointed

Bad check in experience. No real people. Packed with foreigners. Not suitable for business or family. Room cleanliness reasonable.

Had the privilege of staying in a unit facing KL tower at 54th floor. The view was awesome esp at night. The only problem is that the bathroom floor is same level with the bedroom/ & dining floor. (If you mistakenly wet the bathroom floor, the water may spill over to the dining room floor. To overcome this problem, perhaps the management should put some sort of rag/ Other than that, it was all prefect!

Highly recommended

It was amazing, checking-in was a breeze. View was splendid and facilities well-provided. Very highly recommended. 7-11 right at level one was convenient and a huge plus.

Not so great after All.

The plus poonts- The collection of keys was smooth. The host is prompt to reply and location is good. 10mins stroll to KLCC and pubs are just around the corner. The living, dining and bed rooms are clean. Minus points - the parking is a nightmare. The turning are so narrow, you will have a hard time manuvering especially if you are driving a big car. TV reception is very poor and they are using an antenna (see picture) to receive the channels, never expect that from a high end condo. The toilet is another big miss, shower hose is leaking, bathing light spoilt and worse still, the water heater is spoilt. Told the host and there is nothing they can do as they need the plumber, hence they offer 5% discount. However, if you look at the first picture where it shows a patched roof in the toilet, that is where the heater is located, hence I believe it is not the first time this is happening. Perhaps the host should just change the water heater and have the ceiling board change. It's on the 18th floor by the way.

Generally good, the minor problem is the check in process slow because no front desk. And for those driving maybe harder to enter the parking bay duebto its poor design.

Comfortable place with great staff & location.

The manager was very helpful. Remember, this is an apartment, not a hotel, so they do not have a front desk. The manager text us in advance to find out what time we'd be arriving. We gave him an estimate and he warned us about city traffic. As we moved through traffic, we did text him to adjust our arrival times. Once we arrived, he came within a couple minutes and showed us to our room. We were on the 55th floor. The view was astonishing!! The location of the apartment is perfect for visiting most local attractions. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The only negative was that one elevator was having trouble on Saturday and we couldn't use stairs to the 55th floor. It wasn't a big deal, we just had to wait a bit longer for an elevator. With that being the only negative, you can tell that we were so glad we chose to stay at Saba Suites. The apartment is wonderful. Great air conditioning. Comfortable furniture. Spacious. Everything was great!

It was an excellent stay, the place was exactly same as shown in photos, nice view in 55th floor, clean and cute place,beds were comfortable, wifi , AC, hot water were great, they came quickly for checking in and checking out with no any delays. There were lot of restaurants near by, there was a 7/11 store at the ground floor opened 24 hours with convenient foods, petronas twin towers are within walking distance, money exchanger is closed by, one of the big advantage is monorail station Bukit Nanas is just 300m away which can access lot of places through train , buses, monorails ...etc economically. Two area of improvements, to access swimming pool and fitness centre are even for small time , you need to pay 20 MYR per person, i.e for whole day. That is an disadvantage if you want to use it during ur stay. Secondly the TV only has local ChannaLI. It is better it is supplied with foreign channels or a DVD player. All in all it was a excellent stay.

Terrific place to stay

Great 2 bedroom apartment with lovely living room. The washing machine was a bonus. Location is the best in KL. While no food at the hotel there are many terrific restaurants within 5 minute walk. Will stay again. Because each bedroom has an ensure and they straddle the living room 2 couples or a family with children would enjoy it as well.

downtown apartment hotel (limited service)

We booked 2 unites from March 27 - 30, 2018, Unit 6 and 7 on the floor of 53A which is on 54th floor were assigned for our family. The heated water system was very funny, when you expected hot water for shower, I only got cool water for shower in Room 1, but hot water is provided for show in Room 2, when I had hot water for shower, but there was NO hot water in kitchen, same situation happened for United B at the same time. it was OK for most of us in Kuala Lumpur with temperature 33C, but NOT very pleasant for elderly members.

Great location self serviced apartment

This is a great spot for families having a short term stay in KL. The apartment is modern and has great views of the city towers. Lots of food and shopping within walking distance. This is not a hotel and as such you need to liaise a bit more to check in etc. we were here for 2 nights and were very well looked after. The apartment is comfortable and modern and a great spot to come back to after exploring KL.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saba Suites. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The shower was great! Service was also very good. We would highly recommend to others.

Nice view

Nice view and comfortable beds, one bathroom without shampoo and shower gel since day one, the actual view was not what was advertised. The ads shows the room has the Twin Tower view with two towers, but you can see one tower only no matter where from this building due to it’s location towards the tower, it’s a little disappointed as the view was the only reason we chose this apartment it turned out to be a misleading however the price we paid was still good for what we’ve got.

It was a pleasant stay. I love the view! Overall the necessities were great. Not to forget about the host, he was super friendly!

Nice hotel near to KL golden triangle

Good experience and highly recommended. Near to golden triangle of KL city and convenience for exploring more on City of Light. Hope to come back in near future.

Ok for short stay

Can't watch tv, can't sit on lazy chair because got stained & hairs, dining chairs oily, can't close toilet room, shower head wrongly fixed so got to hold it while bathing, fridge didn't clean properly, so dare not use, kitchen sink drainer old & dirty. Only beds, toilets, sofa are good for stay. Can view one of twin towers due to angle from room.

Best Place to Stay

Stayed here with my family. Bassam the attendant was very attentive to all our request. The room is spacious and clean with a great view of the city. The furnishings are classy with the basic kitchenwares you can use while you stay. The location is just 5mins walk from the famous petronas and suria mall. If youre into night life, youll have wide selection of clubs near the apartment. This is highly recommended especially to those who travel with a family or even those who wants to have a cozy stay at KL.

Family vacation and shopping trip

HIghly suitable for families.Has the feel and look of a family home, tastefully decorated and furnished, and comes with amenities required by a family. The suites are a 12 - 15 minutes walk to both Pavilion and KLCC. The parking though was a bit of a pain as we had to drive up several (15 for us) narrow ramps in the suites' narrow multi-storey car park.

Excellent hotel in the centre of KL

It was so great. Simple but elegant ID. Generous staff to give me a nice view for the half price offered. Will recommend to anyone I know. Will see if there is more savings here for my next trip to KL. Thanks SABA!

Twin tower view

Hisham was friendly to orientate is to the apt facilities. Great tower view. Walking distance or short Grab distance to malls. Wonderful. Likely would return on next visit .
