Reliably good with a great location

Great location and rooms and service are always reliable. Late night room service was difficult to get hold of as no one picked up. Other than that it was a good stay and great cocktails in the bar

Loud and noisy. Street works with jackhammers outside the window in the middle of the night was not great.

Nice hotel in busy shopping precinct

We were upgraded to a suite and had a nice one bedroom apartment. The bedroom was large and bed was comfortable but a chest of drawers would have been good in bedroom as no drawers at all. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Accessible to cities attraction.

Everything was great. Very convenient area. Having a water bottle filling area would be nice, in addition to the complimentary paper cups in the lobby.

Great hotel but beware of parking fees

Lovely room, great location & wonderful bar in the hotel. Shame it closes so early. The only thing that was very frustrating was the parking fee. I looked on the website and read that it was $22 for over 2hours but we were charged $137 from 6pm to 11.30am the following day. This was way more than we expected and made a reasonably priced stay very expensive. We didn't park in the Rydges private parking area.

Well situated (near Museum station). Good sized room. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly and effficient staff.

Every part was excellent from check in to check out. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast option was terrific. Convenient to walk to Circular Quay. Excellent place to stay.

Very easy check-in and fantastic customer service

Carpark - it was complicated to find the car space in the underground hotel carpark, but this is probably everywere in Sydney CBD. Rooms sizes ok (1 bedroom appartament). Overal we were happy with the accomodation.

Average hotel to stay

No upgrade for VIP GOLD. We are allocated a room with the view to windows of another building. The room is dirty with hairs on the floor and underneath bed-sheet. No inroom slippers that make us very uncomfortable since the floor carpet is dirty as the result we have to wear shoes throughout our stay.

Central to everything we needed. Many transport options were within a few minutes walk. Staff were welcoming and helpful

Excellent location, easy walk with plenty of food options

Great location. Right over a shopping center, close to transportation. Breakfast was a nice addition by booking with Expedia. We also arrived very early and for $30AUD we were able to check in. The only negative was even on the 18th floor we heart street noise and some construction. However I would stay there again for the location.

Amazing location. The ability to walk to all major attractions was a bonus. Dining options ate endless. Staff were super helpful

Hotel is in a great location. We got a family room for 5 and it was very roomy & worked very well for us. Breakfast is delicious (we paid for ours, not sure if there’s a bed & breakfast option). Also enjoyed the bar in the hotel. Staff are very friendly and most helpful.

Family weekend

Wonderful stay with family group. Clean, comfortable with parking available. Close to city sights. Plenty of options for eating

Parking is pricey. I don’t mind paying but it should not be this expensive

A comfortable hotel in a great city lication not far from Museum station. Good value with spacious king room, good buffet breakfast and happy hour.

One night stopover awesome!

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, only one night but it was great! I will definitely come back and stay again.

Service was great. A few features in the room (blinds and lamp in the second bedroom) were not working or seemed damage.

Great option for central Sydney.

Great hotel in the centre of Sydney. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. A lot of airline crews stay here by the looks of it. The bed was comfy and the room a good size. Only negative would be the bar fridge was not effective. Was too warm. Buffet breakfast was a bonus with plenty of options. Would stay again.

Location was great & room was ok.Shocked at the staff & service standards.I was not accorded the VIP check in, they appeared surprised when I asked to check in, was told breakfast wasn’t included so missed breakfast for 2 days & Concierge was too busy chitchatting to assist with my 27&7kg luggage. Evening of 26/12 called reception to advise that I have the Expedia booking open which shows breakfast is included.Again I was told that it is not.So I asked do you want me to come down with my iPad to show you, he said yes, this was at 10pm.So I went down & initially he said it’s not in their system but then he checked Expedia & said it was & told me he had updated it.Why did he not check the Expedia when I called?When I went to breakfast the next day & again they told me breakfast is not included etc. Breakfast was at 7-10.30am yet I was refused omelette. When I queried I was told station closes at 10.15am.I reminded her about the breakfast times & looked at my watch & said it’s 10.14am.She pulled out her phone & said it’s 10.16.Yet they continued to take & bring out omelette orders after this exchange while I watched.Restaurant staff was extremely rude, grumpy, unprofessional & disrespectful.Overall not a pleasant experience & recommend every single staff member undertake basic training in hospitality.I have travelled quite extensively for work & pleasure & this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.I realised albeit late why staff weren’t featured in reviews.

The air conditioner to noise

Staff were extremely accomodating and lovely throughout the entire stay. Breakfast was yum! We stayed during the Christmas period and appreciated the extra festivities the hotel put on for free. Location was very convenient with walking distance to public transport close by. The hotel is a very busy area of the city but we enjoyed it.

Fun and relaxing

Friendly efficient service. Very welcoming The room was clean and comfortable. Location was very central with many food options. Decided just to graze the many choices. A little here and a little there. Made for a fun evening. I had free drink vouchers for the cidery which was a welcome stop. In the morning breakfast was included with a nice little buffet. Overall the trip was both fun and relaxing. Thank you to staff for the hospitality.

Great location and the family room was fantastic with 2 older teenagers. The hotel was good with simple clean rooms that were very spacious and decor was lovely. The only drawback was no pool.

I stayed at Rydges world square on Saturday the 30th November, checking out yesterday Sunday the 1st of December. I was super unhappy with my stay. Soon arrival the gentleman at the reception desk was full of attitude and absolutely rude. When getting into the room, the cleaning had not been finished. A half drank orange juice was left on the bench, a ln empty packet of bandaids along with dirty bandaids on the floor. The bins had not been changed and hair on the bench. Although the location is amazing, the cleanliness was disgusting and not once on leaving or entering the building did the staff greet or acknowledge us. Beyond disappointed

It's a great location, though at night the area around the property can be a bit seedy along Pitt Street. Staff however are very nice, the rooms well maintained and the property itself in good condition.

Overnight Stay

Received an upgrade to a King Executive Suite with Balcony, lovely room, unfortunately noise from a vent was bothersome on the 12th floor. Bed was so comfortable, the best I've had ever, especially after travelling half the day and only intrastate after a cancelled flight. There's also a top sheet which we like. Shower pressure excellent and toiletries were great especially the dental kit was welcome as I tossed my toothbrush out at the previous hotel. Buffet breakfast included and was varied to suit all tastes. There's also a cook to order option. We also recieved a drink voucher each in our deal having silver membership which included either a glass of wine, softdrink bottle or coffee. I did however called 3 different departments to obtain dressing gowns that were supposed to be in the room, ended up going to the front desk to ask for them. Received them not long after and the slippers free to wear. Mo fridge noise either which is excellent. There's also a kettle for those of us who don't like coffee machines. The hotel is a very short walk from Museum train station opposite Hyde Park and Town Hall train station. Many varied eating options including inside the hotel and surrounding area, Coles supermarket nearby, newsagent, post office, money exchanges and so much more. The hotel is conveniently situated and very nice. Would stay here again.

Great location, amazing staff & super comfy beds! The shower needs some attention. We needed 3 bath mats and a hairdryer to cope with the water outside of the shower alcove... No problem getting extra bathmats :)

The deluxe king room booked was pretty dingy and initially set up with two singles. The property and rooms feel pretty run down, bathrooms especially so, and I’ll stay somewhere else next time. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable stay. Centrally located and a short walk to town square train station. Made getting around the city very easy. Lots of great restaurants nearby too

It was very noisy on level 13 the windows need to be double glazed. All I could hear was the traffic all night! Also for the amount of money I paid for a 1 night stay it was very average dark corridors and dark gloomy room with not much light. Staff at reception were very casual in there manner towards clientele need to be more professional.

Excellent location, friendly staff, beautiful establishment

Friendly and efficient staff, very helpful. Lovely room with beautiful comfy beds and pillows. We stayed for a concert at Olympic Park and the hotel was well placed. An easy walk (or tram) to and from Central station for event trains. We were back late and the quiet room with great blockout blinds plus late (11am) checkout were perfect for a restful sleep in!!

Great value, large interconnecting rooms, walkable to everything, easy parking. Highly recommend.

Staffs are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great heaps of food to choose for. Definitely will book again on our next visit to Sydney.
