Great location for the event at the race track Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment. Very good breakfast. Good parking undercover. Would definitely stay there again

Mount Panorama

Our room was well presented with good amenities. Unfortunately we needed relocate to another room due to the presence of a very noisy cricket. The only real disappointment was when we ate in house at the restaurant where we had to wait for more than an hour for our meals.

I love the views of the track , and being able to walk around the track. Would love to be in a room on race day. Staff were all very helpful

My husband and I enjoyed staying 'on track' at the Bathurst racetrack.

Little information given on check in. The room was quite dusty. Toilet had water stains on inside and jiff still caked on inside rim. It is not great when an 8 year old boy comments that the toilet is Dirty for the above reason. The cutlery was dirty and glasses felt dirty. Although these are little units housekeeping should still check that things are clean for the next guest. We spent the afternoon at the pool that needs a little TLC especially with the 30+ days. Furniture and tables covered in cobwebs and would be great to have net close by to scoop up small leaves in pool. Apart from a small amount of leaves, the pool was clean. It would be nice if room service fishes arrived with a cover over food.

Had to wait 15min for receptionist to come to reception and check us in. Having 1 staff member on duty in the whole hotel on a Saturday night at 9.30 is unacceptable for a supposed 4 Star hotel. We requested a room with 2 beds, instead we had a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed, which would have been ok, except no linen whatsoever was provided. The bathroom was simply disgusting, no other way to put it. Mould build up everywhere.

Our family loved staying here! My boys loved the views of Mount Panorama! Facilities were great and staff very friendly! Will def stay again!

Rooms are a bit dated. Perfect if you are there for a Track Day at My Panorama, otherwise a long way to town. No room service breakfast or quick breakfast, only full buffet in the Dining Room .

This website didn’t communicate with the hotel there were 2 kids also. Just 2 adults. So the room allocated was only a king bed. Lucky the hotel had a spare room with extra space for us. This is the 2nd time this has happened. It was great we were upgraded to a room with a spa and kitchen. The staff was great. The sofa bed isn’t level. You sleep with your legs 10cm higher than your head. You can tell the hotel was a very high end hotel in the beginning but it’s starting to get mould between the tiles and the over flow sink hole under the tap. Being at the race track there are was some people racing at sleeping hours which didn’t make it a restful night. I won’t stay here again if I have a drive or need to work the next day. Great for a holiday stop

The bed was really comfy. Only draw back is that the floodlights from the track stayed on all night and the curtains didn’t fully block it out.

Excellent hotel and an excellent location next to the racetrack which you can walk or drive around.

Well worth a stay!

Very clean throughout the room and property generally. My room had a fantastic view of the track and tye famous Mount Panorama sign (as a race fan this was very impressive!) Restaurant on site was a good option and has a lot of variety to suit most with friendly, helpful staff. I'm already mentally preparing my next stay here 😎

We were upgraded to a better room without charge. Looked after and had a fantastic night over looking mount panorama race track. Thank you Rydges for the great service.

No Cleaning on day 1 of the 2 day stay. Over charged at checkout very disappointed due to be over charged.

The bathroom floor traps backed up when we had a shower preventing us from using the spa through fear the room would flood when we pulled the plug

Would book this place again if/when I go to Bathurst.

Fabulous mini holiday stay.

Spacious room with fully equiped kitchen. Balcony facing the racing track was the highlight of the stay. There was a drainage smell from the ensuite bathroom. Overall it was a nice stay.

The bed was very comfortable and it was good to have a balcony area. I found getting in and out of the shower to be dificult to manage as there wasnt much support to hold into. If staying there again, I would see if they had different shower facilities in other rooms as a preference

Great location, the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept on.

Parking was a huge issue as a number of large tow vehicles and trailers took up multiple available spaces . A function on upper level like a wedding or similar was very loud on Saturday night and at 1:30am the Smoke alarm system went off for 20 mins with atleast 10 PA announcements asking for the night cleaner to report to the front desk . After 10 mins of it going off I rang the front desk after seeing no one in the hall. to ask if we needed to evacuate - then the announcements started

Dissatisfied with soft bed & terrible pillows

Favourite hotel right on the Mount Panorama race track.

Food in restaurant very average. Excellent service from Sofie however concerned about Manager serving food/wine with her long hair. I suggest she should consider tying it back so that it does not make contact with plates etc.

We had a nice stay but we were not aware of the pool closure during winter months and was not informed at check in.Found out the hard way with three kids dressed in there swimmers after a 4 hour drive with a sign on the pool door informing of the closure. We felt we were a bit mislead.

Mt Panorama Circuit and Views were great.. and close to Bathurst but far enough away from the city noise..

We loved that it was right on Mount Panorama, as we had an event on there. The room is not soundproof as advertised, there was a party going on above us till 4:00am being very noisy. The hotel could provide a few extra basics, such as bath salts to use in the spa bath, also the spa bath jets aren’t heating ones, so you need to keep adding hot water. As we had a room with a kitchen, some cleaning spray & scourers would have helped but the biggest complaint would be that there is no Netflix, Stan or not even google chrome provided, in this day and age this should be an essential for a hotel!

Although the location was great, and exciting for our kids as it is right on the Mount Panorama race track, we were disappointed with our stay. Unfortunately our room felt unhygienic due to multiple reasons. The cutlery and glassware appeared unclean and placed back into the cupboards, so I needed to wash everything before use. One glass had been placed back into the cupboard with a big crack down it, so clearly this wasnt checked. The bathroom had the most putrid sewerage smell coming from the drains and toilet and it that made us feel sick for the entire stay. Because the bathroom is open to the bedroom, it made the entire apartment smell and unpleasant to be in. However, the worst part was opening our children's made up sofa bed to find a doona that should have never been used. The doona was covered in blood stains and big yellow bodily fluid stains. See photos. This is absolutely unacceptable and we were disgusted and extremely concerned that the cleaning staff felt it ok to use when they made up the bed. I went down to reception to speak to staff about this and the young boy just said "Oh yes that is pathetic" and brushed me off. I also told him about the smell and he said he would send cleaning staff up to change bedding and put something in the drain. At 2pm, staff finally came to our room and changed the bedding, yet couldn't fix the smell.

I stayed there due to it having a gym but was disappointed by the gym and equipment. I don’t understand why Rydges do not have room mini bars anymore makes for great inconvenience.

Great place to stay and great view. Rooms clean, spacious and all the restaurant staff during breakfast were very friendly and accommodating. Only negatives were at check in where we were basically asked for a card, handed key and sent on our way. I found her to be inconvenienced by our presence and not so much as where the lifts were was told to us. The restaurant is not very family friendly with regard to dinner time with limited menu options and nothing tailored for kids. The bath/shower space from bottom to ceiling is quite short. My son is over 6ft tall and could not stand up straight to shower. Aside from this, it’s a lovely place to stay and would recommend.

Being on the racing circuit, which is a public road when not being used for motor sport, this property is geared for enthusiasts. We visited off season. Travelling with children, the apartment was ideal.

The property was clean, well prepared and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

On Mt Panorama. Great location on the hill. Easy parking. Friendly service. Good breakfast. Easy check in and 24/7 reception. Bed a bit soft but still comfy. Good shower but needed mould removal.

Great property and friendly staff.

Cleaner disregarded do not disturb on door, walked in whilst i was in the shower and my husband caught him coming in. We left for the day only to return later to find again the do not disturb sign disregarded and our belongings gone through and room "tidy". Not lady friendly, minimal toiletries, clinical white lightning that feels medical, aircon remote doesnt work from the bed, no fly screen on verandah doors, dirty and rusting bathroom and $6 water. Didnt feel like we could walk barefoot. For the Rydes, you expect to feel safe and we didnt. Were promised a call back from the General Manager and havent heard back! We wont be back nor would be recommened.

The bed is too soft. The room is quite dark without enough light. Shampoo and body wash are not refilled.

Spectacular and expansive views of Mount Panorama.

A most disappointing experience. Bathroom dirty, and mouldy, the lounge suite was filthy, cleaning staff have no idea how to clean. The room was not serviced properly, trash can emptied, towels changed. That was it, bed not made, nothing wiped down, tea towel not changed. Absolutely discussted for the amount of money charged. Telephone not working, staff patronising. Just as bad in the dinning room suppose to be 5 star dinning, more like a truck stop dinner. No table service, more like a bistro, had to ask for pepper and salt, it was given to me but both pepper and salt shakers were empty, had to re ask. Will never stay at a Rydges hotel again.

I loved how its right on the racetrack

Stayed 1 night. Great view of the track. Big rooms. Shower over bath with slippery surface. Great kitchenette with glasses, cutlery etc. Thursday night didn’t eat at restaurant as realised no one eating and everyone looking at the kitchen. Buffet breakfast Friday morning, arrived at 8.30 and was told they’d decided to close at 9 because weren’t very busy. Food was great that we quickly ate after waiting for hot food that wasn’t in buffet while watching families being turned away?? Then got a bit of a shock at checkout that 1 hot and 1 continental breakfast was $48.

Everything very good, look clean And the restaurant staff very nice Only one thing but is very hard for them keep clean of balcony.

We booked this because we wanted to go round the circuit but a big plus was it had a restaurant on site only it didn’t ! When we arrived they said that it was closed on both the nights we were staying there ! I really think they should have told us about this as we had driven a long way and didn’t want the hassle of having to go and find something.

Window screens need to be put on your windows. The bedrooms were filled with bugs and spiders during the night. Aircon too loud to leave on and too hot to have nothing on. Lovely food for breakfast, dinner menu/room service should have at least 1 or 2 kids food options.

The king bed was disgraceful Two single shoved together and sagged in the middle Wasn’t made properly I had to re make the bed before getting in Very disappointing when one has a bad Back 😞
