Great place to stay.
Cannot contact any staff . Terrible service
Horrible l. Automation everything which doesn’t allow them to use common sense or help with anything
Great stay, convenient location
This accommodation is hardly a hotel as there is no office or staff on site. Check in and out were done remotely via text. The place looks like a refurbished motel with small room spread out in a row and no office. Positives were the comfort of the bed and the quality of the bed and bath linens. Both the Expedia and Ruschmeyer’s website have been changed since we booked the room. The information available when we made the reservation stated our room would have a porch. It didn't. The grounds look like a party location with tables, umbrellas, bean bags and hammocks, all in disarray with rubbish strewn about. Rubbish bin was overflowing. Virtually no flat surfaces for belongings, no luggage rack. No drinking glasses or hand soap in bathroom. The shower curtain was filthy & the soap rack fell down. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped. Poor ventilation. Bathroom window sealed shut. The double-hung window was inoperable. There was a chemical smell in the room from a dish of solid air freshener that we placed outside the room. The de-humidifier hadn’t been emptied. The throw pillow on the bed had streaks of paint on it. We are experienced travelers and found this place to be a joke.
I really enjoyed the service received at the hotel!
The rooms were nice
There is no one who staffs this hotel. Eventually we received a text message with a code to enter a room. There were about 200 hundred people on the grounds for some kind of open cocktail party. Security guards were present and initially wouldn’t let us park, enter the property or bring our luggage to the room. Music blasted until late in the evening. Room smelled of mold and towel rack fell off wall when touched. This is not a hotel, it’s more a club with some rooms to crash in when you’re done partying.
Nice property with entertainment
The room posted on the website was not the same as the room I wanted to book. The cleanliness of the room was very poor. The bathroom doesn't clean well. And on the bedroom floor, there was a lot of sand everywhere. I felt disgusted every time I walked in the room.
The room itself still had markings on the wood from construction.for 400$ a night u would think that u would have wires hanging for the room lighting . The grounds around it looked like it was being set up for an event and look nothing like The pictures advertised when booking. There main sign does. It even light up completely , finishing the hole vibe of with half open or on its way to closing
Place is a ghost town, I checked in online and had nothing but weird vibes. No way I’m spending 300 to this place again.
Great stay for a fun time!
There is no receptionist therefore getting a hold of people if you need something is difficult. Overall stay was a pleasure. Resturant next to hotel becomes fun for going out at night so you have to enjoy music as you can hear a little of it from the room.
Booked a few hours before our stay. Bed was super comfy and room had more of a small cottage feel then hotel room, which we enjoyed. Was newly redone. Loved the painted floors and the updated bathroom with nice flooring that was not slippery when wet. Outdoor seating areas were very nice and we found hanging out there very relaxing. Restaurant and bar were a few feet away. Enjoyed our stay. But there is no lobby or onsite staff. We had to check in online and they sent us room # and key code. As luck would have it, my phone was dead and I had to wait to charge it before we could get in the room which was a bit of a hassle.
Initially upon arrival, the place looks very cute and will remind you of summer camp. The restaurant Talya is amazing and right on the property. The bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately, the dehumidifier in the room did not work and sheets were moist by the end of every day. There is no concierge service on the property and you communicate with management via text. This initially sounded very nice and convenient until our third request for water without any reply. The most damaging part of this hotel was the suspected exposure to mold. Every time we were in the room my friend had a runny nose and I had an asthma exacerbation. Outside of the room and off of the property, we had no symptoms. Very concerning!
loved the property!
Amazing fun and a blast. The connected restaurant is awesome and so convenient. Also probably one of most fun spots to go out in Montauk! So convenient you are right in the action to rest, play, and eat!
Great firepits and clean, cozy simple cabins. Near Navy Beach and Duryeas.
