The property exudes a very hip and cool vibe. The staff very helpful and friendly. I personally commend, Leah, Carlos to name a few. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends in the US if they visit London. Thank you for making our first London experience a memorable one.
Hotel in great location of Notting Hill, assessable to tube station. Close to pubs, bars and restaurants. Close to Portobello Road Market. Hotel had everything we needed. Great shower. Good size room for London location
Great location, modern and great staff
Loved this stay. The hotel is very updated, clean, and modern. The staff were great. And the location is near tons of places to eat, as well as the underground. I would stay here again.
.
Great stay
Great for a Base on a City Break
Great place to stay for a city break. Not what I would call a romantic break type place e.g no separate bathroom, just sink in the room and a shower cubicle, but very functional and clean rooms. Bed super comfy and the place in general feels fresh and modern. Great location and staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
Loved my stay here. Great interior, wonderful staff and brilliant location. My room was gorgeous. Bigger than most and so well decorated. Bed was a dream, had the best sleep in a long time. Tube not too far away and a good selection of shops nearby. Just perfect!
Amazing
Absolutely fantastic hotel would 100% go back - noise insulation is top tier. Seriously comfortable rooms, linens, bed. Spacious room. Brilliant window feature which is floor to ceiling
It was nice and close to the Notting Hill Gate station. Great coffee places nearby as well.
I love this hotel!
The room was gorgeous and it was in a fab location, only thing that let it down was the breakfast. Not much selection and the pastries and bread were so dry.
It was very nice to be given a coupon for a free drink from the hotel bar in lieu of housekeeping. It would have been nice to have more storage in the room. There was nowhere apart from the closet to unpack one’s suitcase. Overall however would definitely return
The room was really comfortable and more spacious than expected. I would stay again.
Loved it!
Fantastic property just off the Nottinghill Gate Tube stop. Great location and surprisingly nice hotel for the money. The windows are amazing! Staff was very friendly too boot!
Decent little place, funky communal areas, and a good breakfast. Price was good for London too!
Excellent
A neat boutique hotel in a good location
The hotel was very clean and new or well looked after inside. It was excellently placed for the tube. The staff were helpful and we will use Ruby again for london.
Kim
Prefect hotel and staff very friendly. Love the decor too.
Great stay
Great location and very friendly staff. The breakfast was immaculately clean and a great view. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which comprised of quality food and drink.
Located close to an underground station so it's easy to travel to and from the hotel. There's fast food nearby or restaurants down Portobello that are within walking distance. The hotel atmosphere was nice, not like a normal lobby at all. We didn't explore much of the hotel, but it was comfortable. The room was small, but that was expected.
Great
Very comfy rooms
We stayed at the Ruby Zoe during a family visit to London. It is very conveniently located and walkable to many venues. The tube is close by and the neighborhood is charming for an urban area. Plenty of restaurants and shops all around. Hotel staff is friendly. We had a hiccup on check-in - the front desk clerk couldn't find our reservation, so we escalated to the manager, he checked and our Rez popped right up, so chalk it up to a loose nut behind the keyboard! The room was clean and spacious enough to lay out our 24" pullmans. Lighting and usb ports were conveniently located. The bed was very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and this location.
Great location
Nice place to stay and centrally located
Everything was ok
Awesome stay
Excellent experience! Front desk exceptional! Also love their hand soap and lotions…. Bought some to bring home
Excellent
Everyone was so lovely and the location is perfect!
Great stay and hotel.
Great stay, modern hotel, and good location. Room was plenty big enough for a couple, and quite quirky so wouldn’t suit everyone. Bed really comfy, wash basin in the room, and shower is glass screened so visible directly from the room itself, ideal for the exhibitionist - does have curtain which can be pulled around for privacy as required. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - communal kitchen areas on most floors. Need your room key to get through doors from public areas to the bedrooms, and to go up in the lift - so good security measures. Buffet breakfast was also pretty good, plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again, if in London.
Wish there were more and more coat hooks on the walls. Oh, a telephone for talking to the reception would be nicer and better.
Great hotel
Excellent value hotel in perfect location
Clean
Everything about the property was great…except I need a mini fridge for my medications and there isn’t one in the room.
Stayed here for business. Breakfast is poor, rooms are weird and cold, bar shuts at 12am and you have to leave the bar area at that time too. It’s a fairly cheap hotel, but not great in reality and breakfast is probably the biggest let down with no hot option other than beans or porridge, who has a random bowl of baked beans for breakfast?
My go to place in London
Love this place!
Great
I love this hotel - good location and comfortable bed
Stayed several times. Good value for money. Nice different decor and vibe. Rooms are the ideal size for city break. Just a short walk from Nottinghill Gate tube.
Everything was great. Everyone was excellent.
Loved everything about this hotel. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and welcome. It’s also very close to the tube.
The overall concept of lean luxury is fine, but when you are missing basic amenities like irons, and the staff is also very rude luxury goes out the window.
I enjoyed my stay at Ruby Zoe hotel. It was clean and has a trendy hip vibe. The location is convenient in Notting Hill. Plenty of small shops and markets near by. I highly recommend.
Carlos from Front Desk was exceptional with us. Gave us a warm welcome and all the recommendations we needed. Great breakfast, Great location!
this was my 3rd stay in Ruby Zoe, I really like how space efficient the rooms are.
Good but not perfect
Nice, modern and clean hotel. But I would prefer to have a kettle in my room instead of tea station in the corridor with a water 90C that is not enough to make a proper tea.
In the city like London, having the AC connected to the key card is ridiculous and to make it even worse, the AC wasn’t working in my room. No coffee water nothing in the rooms. It’s just a plain and then they have something called galley and they put only tea in it so they push you to go to the bar and order there.
I didnt like that there is no tea and coffe facilities in the room
all great!!
great place to samtay
The Ruby Zoe was SUCH a treasure of a stay. The hotel is so clean and comfortable. For being in the cheaper range of hotels, we were pleasantly surprised with how many amenities were available, how luxe it felt, and how wonderful the staff is. You’re a 20 minute tube ride from the core of London but Notting Hill was easily accessible. We loved our stay & will happily choose Ruby Zoe the next time we return to London!
Great hotel in Nottinghill
Modern, clean, functional hotel. Close to Nottinghill gate tube station making it easy to get around London. Good breakfast and friendly staff
Self check in a nightmare. Allocated us an accessible room where everything was at knee height. Great if you’re in a wheelchair but not if you’re 6”4.
Comfortable Stay in a Lovely, Quiet Location
Had a wonderful stay at Ruby Zoe! The location is in a safe, quiet area, which made for a relaxing stay. The bed and pillows were super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff were so nice and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Overall, a very lovely hotel – highly recommend!
great location & great vibe
fantastice trendy hotel, friendly staff but their bar menu need attention as very limited. apart from that had a Fab stay :)
Great
great hotel, great staff, great location
Staff was perfect , polite , room is cute. Excellent shower. Great location.
Great location, clean as could be, nice staff
Everything was amazing!
Overall hotel facilities, location and room are good. But wish there were better free coffee facilities on each floor or, better yet, in the room
Cute and funky hotel! Very clean n friendly!
Great hotel in great location.
.
Great addition to the Notting Hill area. Had a great view and the staff were all nice and friendly. Will be back.
Very friendly n clean
Very good breakfast,
Beautiful property. Funky vibe. Close to shopping! Notting Hill is a charming walkable area.
Good value for price.
Great stay.
Looking forwarding to returning!
Amazing stay at the Ruby Zoe. The hotel is new, clean, and modern. Room was small, but totally fine for our needs. If you want a big traditional hotel chain, this might not be for you (e.g. bathroom sink and shower were in main room), but we loved it. The location is fantastic-- a block from the tube, right in Notting Hill, lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel was funky and modern-- beautify lobby. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was quiet and had good AC. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Fun hotel
New and very well located hotel a few minute’s walk from Kensington Park. Friendly staff and a very popular bar. Reasonably priced, for London. Many restaurant options.
The hotel is perfectly situated in close proximity to the Notting Hill Gate station and a short walk to Portabello Market, countless coffee shops, M&S, Tesco, etc. The hotel is as hip as London itself…the staff was always friendly, professional and eager to assist with any issues that arise. I’m already planning my next stay when I visit London again in a few months.
We had a lovely stay at the Ruby Zoe hotel. The location was great and staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed at Ruby Zoe from 9/29 - 10/9. Enjoyed the accommodations immensely. The rooms are smaller in comparison to US standards but we were not in the room for long periods. On the main level you have all the sitting room for you and your guest. We, couple traveling, did not select the breakfast option. Too many eats around the hotel. Even a Mc Ds five store fronts down for a quick grab. Also, a number of grocery stores (Tesco) and they all sell beer, wine and the hard stuff all right there! Location is perfect, three blocks to the Nottingham Gate tube station. Purchased the oyster pass and took the tube all over London. Going back and will def book this hotel again.
The Ruby Zoe has a very hipster/funky lobby area and quiet airy rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, good location, overall very comfortable stay
A rather stark design tries to pass as chic. Will appeal more to a younger clientele. Maybe a little overpriced, but not bad for London.
Bar area down stairs was cute but service was lacking- check in was a pain in the butt… the room was small, cramped and awkward bathroom, shower set up.
Clean, comfy, perfect spot
Loved the location of the hotel!
Liked that the property was close to the tube. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet
Fun hotel, some neat design touches and good value when I stayed. The lobby bar was holding a function when I got back from dinner which meant that other guests felt a bit displaced which was a shame. Breakfast ok - good variety but promised coffee never materialised and felt very German overall which was odd in a London Hotel. It’s very new so I am sure it will bed in …
PROS: 1. First off, they'll give you free chocolate bars (amazing quality with caramel pretzels and sea salt) and a free drink if you opt out of room service. Very much appreciated that! 2. The room was clean, cozy, and modern, with a nice, big shower. 3. Staff are SUPER friendly! Carlos and this other young lady, whose name I've forgotten (I'm so sorry) were extremely friendly and helpful! 4. The area is super walkable with great restaurants around. There's a nice breakfast place less than a 5 minute walk away called Eggbreak that makes delicious brunch food! Gold is a 10-15 min walk away and, despite being quite pricy, makes some amazing and fresh meals! 5. Nothing Hill Station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel which makes using transit more accessible. CONS: 1. While having the bar downstairs is lovely, the prices for a drink are gobsmacking! £14 - £17 for a drink is beyond crazy! 2. While I liked the idea of having the Marshall speakers in the room to listen to, I couldn't connect my phone with it because I don't have the ability to connect it with a jack. Bluetooth connection would have been far more user friendly.
Nice
Easy and friendly check-in. Nice staff. Great shower. Bring wash cloths, as the they do not have to provide… only towels for shower and hands.
I love the convenient location and the very clean and functional room. I stayed for 7 nights and it was a very comfortable stay.
Overall okay. Rooms were fine. The Front door regularly didn't open and the elevators often didn't work.
Great location, friendly staff, breakfast options were poor though. Smaller rooms but perfect for 1-2 days. Modern and nice but probably not the most user friendly
Newish, great location. Breakfast and lite fare available. Corridors upstairs are a maze, design of bathroom facilities in the room as if a modular add on, over the top. Shower leaked on to floor within moments. Predict the hotels modern look will soon give way to a need for repairs.
The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Close to a tube station. Easy walk to Kensington palace and park.
Friendly staff & perfect hotel - clean, stylish & comfortable
Wonderful location for eating, neighborhood shops, and transport. Newish building, so there was adequate space and facilities worked.
Great location and awesome staff.
Highly recommended
We lover our stay here! Visiting from the US and everything about this hotel was great. Was very close to transit lines which made it really easy to explore all over London! Absolutely will stay here next time we visit!
This place is more than a 5 star the view in my room was perfect. I read the reviews on how small the room is but it’s more than what I needed. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was amazing. I really enjoyed the decor. You must try their orange juice and cappuccino is delicious. I give this place a 10x10. I was supposed to check out on the 31st to catch a flight to Spain on the 1st but I decided to stay until the 1st in the morning because I was just so close to everything they were very accommodating.
Thumbs up.
Great location with easy access to train/tube. Good variety of stores for shopping on either side of the street. Well kept both outside and inside.....would have enjoyed a microwave in the common areas

Nice hotel with a youthful vibe. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were quiet. Two minute walk to the underground with easy access to central London. Would definitely stay again.
