One Night quick stay but good!
Stay here you won’t regret it the location is just right!

FAB STAY
The location was excellent, just 7' walk to the station where you could travel to places such as Nuremberg or Salzburg. The staff was very kind and efficient, special thanks to Sarah who was a great help to our requests. They don't offer food since you have plenty of choices nearby but the bar is great.
Laid back, modern and comfortable.
Nice hotel. Would recomended if you visit München, is walkable distance to the City Centre
What I liked: Staff are friendly and welcoming. Check in and check out process are simple, quick and convenient. Hotel is conveniently located and walking distance from the central train station and the city's main attractions. What I did not like: Daily room cleaning is optional which should be standard. I requested to have my room cleaned everyday, and it did not get cleaned until late afternoon.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was well-appointed and clean but it felt cramped. There was very little room on one side and at the end of the bed.
Great place to stay within walking distance from a lot of things!
Was able to walk to Oktoberfest in under 25 minutes! Staff was super helpful, helped me reserve my taxi to the airport
Convenient and clean!
Great location, utilitarian style, easy to navigate, nice lobby and 2 employees really stood out: Paula at front desk was super helpful when my safe would not open and also Stifter, who was really great at cleaning my room so immaculately! Made this stay quite enjoyable and hope they both will get recognized for their above and beyond work in the hotel!
Nice hotel a few tweaks would help
This is a really nice hotel, the location is great and the staff are brilliant. We had a corner room looking towards the square. Each floor has a “Galley” with a vending machine and where you can make tea/coffee. It hints that there is an ice machine. But on the 4th floor there is not. The room was comfortable but towels, pillows and bedding have obviously served a lot of guests and whilst clean were quite worn. The pillows especially need replacing. Also in room 429 a number of lights didn’t work leaving the toilet quite dark. Breakfast has a great choice but at €20/24 is quite expensive.
Lovely hotel. Rooms are spacious and staff friendly. Walkable to old town and central station.
A great place to stay. Very well situated.
Great hotel, close to restaurants, transit and parking. 5 minute walk to great restaurants without being so close that it’s noisy. Rooms are bright, beds comfy and well sized for the price. Would definitely stay again.
Staff was friendly and extremely helpful.
Unique modern progressive hotel with good food, great location!
We stayed one night at this hotel in Munich. It was walkable from the main train station and had a 24 hr bar, which was great for a drink upon arrival. We were also able to find several restaurants nearby for dinner. The room was clean and up to date.
Great location, beautiful place.
A very upmarket bar and spacious rooms with extras like a bluetooth speaker which sounded great, and marshall amp. Lovely helpful staff
Friendly staff, had a very nice stay
Small funky hotel
Excellent small boutique hotel close the bahnhoff. If you are over the chain hotels and want somewhere funky, Ruby is a good option to consider
They didn’t clean the room
Overall a great place for a long stay. However, the towels are looking a little worn. Think that’s a detail that could be improved upon 😎
Upon arrival at 9 PM, reservation desk personnel said they couldn't find records of my reservation (prepaid through Expedia and confirmed by email 2 days before arrival). I presented paper receipts showing dates and prepayment. Staff said hotel was full, but we could have overnight accommodation in room for handicapped guests adjacent to lobby/bar. The next morning hotel staff acknowledged that my prepaid reservation for 4 nights was valid and offered to move us to an upgraded room for the rest of stay. We were happy with upgraded room and hotel services thereafter. First night was distressing experience; handicapped room was unsatisfactory in many ways.
Great hotel with nice vibe and perfect staff. I would come back! Location is excellent for visiting every part of the city.
Convenient location for main train station, tram outside, walking distance to main attractions. I took the castles tour and the bus stop was only a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. City Hop On Hop Off Tours are only 10 minutes walk, easy to find. Nice restaurants in the area, especially Casa Nostra if you like Italian. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The bar is funky and modern as are the rooms. Everything was spotless. Free tea /coffee stations with vending machine on all floors. Luggage drop off was available too at no extra cost. I would highly recommend the Ruby Lily Hotel Munich and would come back again.
No complaint
Really cool place to stay close to the centre and main train station. Great room with some really nice touches, simple and easy to check in and a nice environment to base yourself from
Wonderful hotel, very helpful staff, great breakfast and bar. Enjoyed the bottomless cappuccinos in the morning.
Top hotel, excellent location. Would recommend.
The hotel staff are very helpful and the building is in very good condition.
Good location. Close to central station. Nice hotel with nice stuff.
Loved the vibe from as soon as I walked in!
Clean but a bit too small
Stylish bright hotel near the museum quarter in Munich
Make sure you get a room not facing the street, I was on floor 5 could hear traffic and people all night long. The room was good, staff very helpful and friendly.
I stayed in one of their larger rooms, which would be a fine place for a couple to stay.
Great hotel, great service and location
Very accommodating
All good except bad seating in room. Just a metal bench to sit on. Quite uncomfortable for working.
Overall wonderful!
We loved the Ruby Lilly Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, clean, modern, comfortable rooms, fabulous terrace on the 7th floor (the floor we stayed on). We booked a "Lovely room", which was fairly spacious and attractive. We were on the street side, so opening the window wasn't an option; but otherwise quiet and pleasant. The room could do with a dresser or somewhere to put necessities if staying more than one night, other than the small cupboard for hanging a few clothing items which would suffice for a single traveller, but not ideal for 2 people. We were there 5 nights and lived out of our suitcases. But otherwise, no complaints. We would stay there again.
Disapointing stay
My second stay at Ruby Lily and was left very unimpressed. It appears to me that the service revolves around having as little staff as possible at hand, while pretending that it's about efficiency and being eco-friendly. I felt that the customer is not a priority. Rooms are tiny and there are better places in Munich for the same price
Great central location steps away from public transportation. Room was nice-especially the bathroom and shower-modern and the soap/ shampoo amenities were a nice addition.
Contemporary setting, young cool vibe in the cocktail bar. Lots to choose from the breakfast buffet.
Esteban was amazing and courteous
This Hotel with cool design .Walking distance to central station. There is no fridge in the room but has everything we need : bed and shower. Clean.
Bery unqiue rooms nice and close to train station!
Great location and breakfast.
Loved the whole vibe. Great place to stay!
2nd stay
Second time I am staying here and loving it
Young & Uncomplicated
Pleasant stay at the hotel, where check-in and check-out is very simplified and digital = less effort for the people staying there. The hotel had a very good smell in the air from the bar up to our rooms - nice air freshner! Rooms were big enough and clean. Shower and toilet in a small space, but very well used. Bed was comfortable. The only small downside, was that the door bounced each time the other doors were shut..which we heard especially in the morning when the rooms were cleaned. I would recommend this hotel for sure!
Cozy Stay
It was vey nice to stay in this cozy hotel
The Ruby Lilly chain of hotels are amazing. Strongly recommend it to everyone. No language barrier, easy access to places. great staff and amenities. rooms very clean
Cozy and clean hotel and wonderful staff. Recommendable.
The hotel itself is super cute! The staff was amazing! The breakfast buffet was outstanding! For someone who tries to eat healthy I was shocked to see all my favs before me. Would definitely stay here again and will consider the Ruby hotel network for future European travel plans.
Ok stay
Ok location, nice lobby area and bar, very small rooms especially if you have a suitcase, and the double bed is a very small double. Service was inconsistent but overall disappointing.
Hotel was cool and chic, great location for my business trip. The bathroom of the room I had smelled terrible though (like severely moldy towels), and there wasn’t really anyone to tell (there isn’t a front desk). I would probably stay here again despite that.
It’s different!
Stayed here over New Year 2019 in one of the smallest rooms available. It was fine but make sure you look at the pictures closely to ensure that you have the mobility to navigate around the room. The sunken bed can be tricky to get out of especially in the dark and trying to avoid disturbing your roommate! The room Is tight for two people, their luggage and clothes. We found the room to be stifling hot and tried to use the air conditioning but this had no effect. Eventually we opened the window and switched off the air conditioning. Have to say that the reception staff could offer no help regarding the warmth of our room other than ‘ everyone else is saying their room is too cold’. Nice breakfast but book in advance as it is slightly cheaper.
Almost perfect! Bed were very comfortable, hallways were quiet, and had almost the perfect view of the city.
Not ideal the service was nice but the room needs serious consideration. The rooms are small, very small. The toilet door wouldn't shut properly and was not far from the bed so it didn't make us feel great. The hotel is looking to give you a certain kind of vibe. That's fine but work on that after making the room a good one. We had such little space in our room and the only little counter space was next to the basin which was taken up by an unnecessary big useless lamp. There was seriously no need for it. All in all the staff are doing their job very well but they can't get customers coming back when the hotel is like that!
Location excellent, very clean and modern, great shower but small room and some rooms strange design eg toilet with see-through glass door right next to the pillow end of the bed !
Awkward self check-in procedure. Bare minimum in terms of amenities, itsy bitsy bath towels, no in room perks. Sleek and streamline little rooms... good for a single night or single person. Tight and limited for more than one person.
Lovely querky hotel excellant breakfast but would like tea and coffee facilities in the room
Welcoming, extremely well run hotel. Lovely friendly staff.
very modern rooms and comfortable beds. Their bar menu was great too
Ruby Lily
Ruby Lily was great. Very clean and modern rooms. Location could have been better but still easy walking distance to city center and other bars, restaurants etc. check in and check out are all electronic which my husband and I were fine with but not sure who to contact if you did happen to have questions. There is also a cute hotel bar and restaurant upon entering the property that we enjoyed. Also a nice touch all rooms have floor to ceiling windows lots of natural light and made the room feel more spacious. We would stay here again or recommend to anyone traveling to Munich.
Smallest room ever. My friends paid same amount each night and was twice the size. Very bad experience and my friends kept telling me that it was worse than a hostel
Maybe good for solo travel only?
The bar is super cute and the bartenders are very nice! Very cool to see so many women bartenders. I would skip this as a place to stay in Munich. The concept is too hipster and I am not a fan of nobody at a check in desk. Our other hotel in Munich was way nicer and a double the space for the same price (just a few blocks away).
First floor rooms have high traffic in the hallways and lots of road noise.
Easy access to public transportation
Nice, clean hotel. Very easy walk to central train station and tour buses. The hotel offers some very basic food options but there are several restaurants within a few blocks. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Staff was friendly room was clean. Everything was modern. Bed was super comfortable. A bit lacking in the English channels, we ended up watching the news every evening. The bathroom is a little exposed which wasn’t bad except when you’re not being so quiet on the toilet. Location was walking distance to central station. A number of middle eastern restaurants, barbershops, nail salons, and rug shops along the street. There was a couple of delicious bakeries along the street and an excellent Italian restaurant directly across hotel. I’ve read reviews on it being loud in the rooms but we were on the 5th floor and didn’t hear any music from the event at the bar
Need to clean the floors in guest rooms. The bathroom doors are not tightly closed. Therefore, water goes into the commodr area.
Nice rooms with a lot of character; great staff and close to UBahn line, tram & Main Train Station. Was great for getting around city. Very lively and fun Hotel bar even in the middle of the week. Great stay
I stay in this hotel every time I go to Munich, as it's close to the office of the company I work with. The location is convenient for work. I like the design of the hotel, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great showers and toiletries. My only complaint is that there should be a bigger/ thicker duvet, or at least an extra blanket or duvet for colder nights.
Recommended
Really friendly staff, cute and quaint rooms, nice decor
Amp in the room to play your own music. Good location
It was very dim and I did not feel welcomed by the staff
Perfect located and very helpful personal and all over great
Super clean and modern rooms utilizing the smaller space well, and staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.
Very unique. The room was very clean, the soaps smelled amazing! Super easy to find from the Central station.
Very modern hotel situated next to a U station which is one stop from the central station. Room was small with no fridge, a little cramped when showering and changing clothes. Strangely a large speaker was provided to listen to music which is fine but every other room has this which leads to external noise. Roof top area has good views, the décor around the hotel is dark, the bar is invariably empty. Breakfast is over priced at 17 euros, there are nearby cafes which offer better value for money.
Location location location
Wet modern and stylish hotel , new with healthy breakfast and nice bar, room a bit small but clean and tidy. Not very close to the main station or shopping area but can take tram to other places
LOVED IT. The location was perfect for us. Close enough to walk to every location/event we wanted to see without being SWAMPED in the Marienplatz. Food in the neighborhood was amazing and had a great variety. The hotel bar was amazing with great service; not to mention in runs 24/7. The room was definitely small but not uncomfortable. The bed was cozy and the shower was great. Breakfast was pricey but very fresh. Our only real complaint was that the rooms are missing a coffee maker and a refrigerator. Small quibbles, but we did miss the presence of both. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!
i was looking forward to staying at this hotel, what a disappointment. the lovely room is supposed to be 194 sq ft. the room was small i wish i had a tape measure. no restaurant in the hotel, only a bar. the coffee normally in the room nada.... you could buy a coffee in the bar, over 3 euro plus each. the corner of our bed was about 8 inches from the wall, needed to turn sideways to get to the window seat which was where my suitcase was because there was no room anywhere else for it. could have put it on the toilet.
This property is updated and super unique. Wish we could have spent more time here!
Loved the room as it had a unique and modern layout and was sparkling clean. Amazing shower with decent pressure (always important when you're away from home). Has a 24/7 bar downstairs with great selection of drinks and amazing service! Great location. Really enjoyed it for solo travel but saw a lot of couples enjoying themselves too! Breakfast is good but not worth 17€.
Roof terrace was great. Staff were always friendly,
Great style and modern charm. If your a fan of small comfy and we'll thought out assthetics this is a great place to stay.
Room was very nice, modern and clean. Was a little small and set up was weird. Did not have fridge. .
This is a trendy, one-of-its-kind place with lots of charm and novelty. I really enjoyed the restaurant/bar which serves as the hotel lobby (and which was open early and late enough that it could deal with the vagaries of jet lag), and the tech-friendly room. The only downside would be that the room is pretty small - not a problem in the end, but it took some imagination to figure out where to stash my suitcase. I only stayed one night, but would be eager to return.
Beautiful place in a great location. Would go again and can recommend it to anyone considering. (note, small rooms)
Plusses: Very helpful staff; had no problems with them running an important errand for me in advance of my arrival. One of my favorite hotel breakfasts ever, although since I booked the room through Expedia it didn't come with my package and therefore cost 17 Euros/Day. But the food was yummy and there were no other options nearby so I was OK with it. The location was good if you're in Munich for the art, like I was, with multiple public transportation options in the vicinity. The most helpful aspect was their "handy" cell phones that guests can use during their stay. You get free international calling (!) and enabled me to easily travel all across the City with working GPS and Google Map directions, etc. Not having to worry about international roaming charges was the best! Minuses: My room was very oddly designed. The bed was part of a platform; the mattress was installed flush to the platform floor which meant having to be very careful walking about (I almost had a bad fall). Another bizarre thing about the room was that in a place that would have been perfect for a mini-fridge, they had a Marshall amplifier instead! Evidently people can hook up their guitars to it if they so chose. I found it weird that they would be so thoughtful as to make the "handy" phone available and yet not have any place where people could keep their drinks and food cool. There was no coffee maker, either, but I don't drink coffee.
Unique hotel! Great bar and staff!
Such a unique hotel! Amazing lobby with a great bar. Our room was small, but not cramped. It was arranged very efficiently. Loved the location and the staff was super nice!
Slick, contemporary and great atmosphere. The bar is relaxing and breakfast is delicious!
Really great place to stay. Very clean room and a 24 hour bar in the lobby. Super quiet and dark for those who like to sleep.
Hope breakfast will have a bit more hot dishes for customers that will very good.

Fun Hotel. Nice rooms. Fun lobby bar!
