Great place for our needs

It is a Nice hotel, great staff, clean room, and close to city center.

Comparing to the price the hotel is good

Aged and worn out property. I was not given the double bed I booked for but a room with 2 beds. My wife and I slept on 2 different beds which is fine but not what I requested and paid for. Difficulty finding my reservation. Staff not that helpful in some cases. I would not stay there again.

Nice hotel

Clean and quiet hotel.

The reception a lounge area was nice, but the rooms were dirty and run down.

It's an old building. There was construction banging sound early in the morning that we didn't know about. Staff wasn't very welcoming at the reception desk.

Great service, friendly and helpful staff, food is good, pool is nice and clean, room was clean and comfortable Location is near to the airport. I totally recommend this place

The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are a bit small. My TV was messed up and unwatchable. Overall good place.

The elevator was freshly painted and the phone in the room did not work.

We stayed here on an overnight in Cairo before a flight out the next morning so our stay here was short and sweet. The staff were accommodating and helpful, even at the late hour of our arrival! The bed was comfortable and the room was great.

Seems like there was very limited staff. The room was okay, but the washroom definitely needs an upgrade. Although breakfast was included, when we went to the dining area there was virtually scraps!!! Understand it was their fasting/Ramadan, but the guests expect a level of service and quality that was clearly lacking. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Honestly the property looks way better in the pictures that’s one thing I didn’t like another thing I didn’t like was their food but then we have to keep in mind that this is another country totally different, one thing I like was the staff some of them were kind of friendly again keeping in mind that is a culture totally different

There are more dislikes than likes from this property. You get what you paid for. I understand that it's Egypt, and it's still a development country where technology is all up date. Both Elevators were small and slow, the pool on the 13th floor wasn't appealing & one of those pool day the water was half way down for maintenance. MY room was disappointing compared to my other 3 friends. Luckily they kept us all on the 10th floor. When i walked in, my room smelled a little off. My wall AC unit looked dirty & my btlathroom was a little tight conpared to my other 3 friends.

Nice place if you just need the basics (A/C, clean bed, hot shower, cold water & fresh coffee). Staff is friendly and helpful. Like all of Cairo for the most part, it’s not in an area that’s enjoyable to explore as a tourist, but works well for a base to get to the pyramids and other attractions.

Wifi is bad. No water provided. No microwave. Shower head was broken.

A nice small hotel closes to the airport!

We felt like home. Really comfy and in a great location. We were there for the African Cup of Nations and the location was perfect. The service was also great.

Good Hotel for business

It was a practical stay because it was near the area I was doing my business. Overall it was comfortable stay and the employees were very helpful.

Enjoyable stay.

Nice affordable clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty and filling. As with most of Egypt, wifi in room was poor. But wifi in lobby was reliable and efficient. Taxi drivers know how to find the hotel, which is a major plus. No great frills but nothing negative either for the great price.

I like the area... The hotel rooms are old and small

The hotel after the upgrade they provided us is excellent. At the beginning when we checked in, we found the room without a mini bar and without the baby crib that were mentioned in the expedia's reservation page. The receptionists told us we have no baby cribs in the hotel plus they offer a kettle and a mini bar only to the room suites. After speaking to them about the reservation terms, they called me back giving me an upgarde to a suite. Thanks to them.

Accessible to Cairo and Nasr City and with the immediate environs fully equipped with basic amenities of bank, supermarkets, shopping. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful assisting to suite your needs.

Professional, friendly staff(many English speaking); elaborate, varied breakfast; convenient in-house restaurant with great menus and service; efficient laundry services; advantage of having a mini refrigerator within the room, daily replenishing of basic amenities or upon request; daily maintenance and cleanliness of the room; very safe and peaceful environment; clean external surroundings. I still have another 12 days here to enjoy a front panoramic sunrise view, as I’m awaiting my apartment close to the institute where I’m enrolled as a full time Arabic student and I’m absolutely delighted that I selected the Royal Marshal Hotel. The treatment is definitely Royal!

Excellent experience

Not as advertised -Misleading

Advertised with a swimming pool - there used to be one now its empty and clearly not be used in a long time. Advertised free wifi - but there was NO working wifi the whole period of our stay

Check status of pool and internet before booking

I picked this hotel because we were traveling with a wheelchair and they have an elevator. Also, my daughter takes online classes and they show internet access. Upon arrival I was disappointed to find that although they do have an elevator, there are several stairs to climb before we get inside. Also, the entire five days we were there, the internet never worked in the rooms. When I asked about it on day 2 they indicated they were getting it fixed that day but it never was. Also I was thoroughly irritated that there was absolutely no water in the pool. This was the other reason I booked this hotel. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable enough. The laundry service was good and inexpensive.

Good clean hotel. But the attitude from the reception staff is very neutral as if they are doing us a favor by making us stay. Good variety of breakfast as well. They did not help me in exchanging dollars for EGP pounds.
