The property was fantastic. Well appointed and furnished. Easily accessible to area, dining, shopping. Would stay here again.
Great place to stay and convenient to Antibes center.
Great location! The spa services were an added treat.
A wonderful vacation stay
This was an amazing stay right on the Riviera, a close walk to old town Antibes yet away from congestion. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. The 50 minutes of Spa treatment each day was a remarkable surprise and soothing from a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of morning foods. The staff were very helpful with the stay. Highly recommend this property.
It was only a short stay but I enjoyed it greatly
The entrance and lobby was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a housekeeper come in daily to change the linens and made the bed up daily. Walls are very thin so you could hear baby crying, guest coughing in the middle of the night. Maid running the vacuum like she was in the hallway, they didn’t pay attention to the signage “ Do Not Disturb” Landscape on the side road looked neglected. Restaurant on the beach across from the hotel was fantastic for lunch.
Extending spa hours would be nice.
A fantastic stay at the Royal Antibes perfectly situated for a lovely walk into Antibes town . The hotel was clean provided a excellent choice for breakfast. The private beach with sunbeds was like an oasis , just a perfect place for lunch and a good chill out . Will be going back .
We’ve been staying at the same hotel for several years now. It’s conveniently located by the beach and the area is very walkable. Lots of restaurants and shops are in the area too. However, we have noticed that the rooms have not been maintained. During this instance the sofa bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, the exterior fabric had tears, and the metal construction was poking out and making it uncomfortable and not very safe for kids to sleep on. We really like this property and the location and hope that the management will take notice and start updating the rooms.
The hotel and staff were great and very helpful. However, the private beach which has the same name as the hotel but have separate staff were rude. We reserved two spots for the 10am and saw them wrute us down. But when we showed up in the morning, they told us we were lying about it, that they couldnt find any notes about it, that it was impossible that we made a reservation. Total jerks and incompetent!
The 50-minute relaxation spa was perfect for after our long travels. Friendly staff. We had a lovely stay here.
Perfect location on the beach and a short walk from restaurants and the old town.
Great location and very nice room and great food
Staff are very rude especially at the beach club
Great stay
Perfect hotel. Great room, friendly service, very nice breakfast and convenient location (close to the beaches).
Excellent stay, we would definitely come back!
Water smelled terribly. Hotel was not clean. Literally had cockroaches crawling in the room. Overall, this should be a one star hotel, and be considered a budget motel rather than a luxury hotel as listed on the webpage.
Great location , friendly staff , great breakfast
Amazing property, great staff
Beat our expectations. On the street in front of the beach in a commercial area. 10 min walk to old Antibes. The front desk staff was great. We stayed only one night. Didn’t use the pool or any of the other facilities. The room was large and comfortable.
The view from the apartment is magnificent! We did day trips to Cannes, Nice, Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo- NONE were better that Antibes and our apartment and setting.
No concierge. Not helpful at the desk. Our apartment was large, which was great, had to pay for decent coffee in the morning, even though they say breakfast is included.
great showers
Excellent
Amazing hotel
Best hotel ever!! Views from every room, and what a view. Spectacular quality of everything in the hotel and so close to restaurants and beach
Great location
Great staff, and service
Royal Antibes hotel
Great location - near old town and just opposite beaches
Smelly shower and not well kept apartment.
Bad smell in shower, worn out ropes, towels and furniture. small room. Small bed and room.
We’ve stayed at this hotel 4-5 times over the last few years. It has an amazing location right by the beach. The staff are very pleasant and professional and it’s kept very clean. Two things that could be improved: 1. The hotel should be helpful in beach chair reservations since they own the beach 2. Rooms could use renovations; our bathroom vanity door was falling off and there were several other pieces of furniture with lots of wear and tear. For 4 stars these issues should be addressed.
We initially ha an issue with a gasoline smell - the hotel quickly addressed the issue and upgrade us to another/better room. Thank you
Solid option in Antibes
Perfectly fine hotel. Nothing fancy, room was average. Bed was not very comfortable but suitable for a one night stay. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, and hotel location can’t be beat. Good value for the nightly rate.
You see à Nice sea view on the website where as regular and classic rooms will face a wall where technical machines and sound of an alarm to fly away pigeons and birds will keep on all night and all day putting any person on edge. We wanted to change room well note the sea view is has triple the room surcharge. We just wanted a room without a sound of an alarm. We left. Breakfast was nice reception staff were nice but powerless.
Ideal location across the street from the sea.
everything!
HORRIFIC. Please do yourself a favour and read the reviews for this property. It is a run-down, disgusting apartment hotel. It is not luxury by any means. It’s like staying in a student apartment. Extremely noisy also to the point where we got maybe 2 hours of sleep. They have hideaway beds with a wire frame. The lobby turns off the lights in some areas at night and it’s probably a 2-3 star property at most. This is the most misrepresented place I have ever stayed at and if you look at many of their photos they are black and white to hide how awful it is. DON’T STAY HERE if you are looking for a normal hotel stay.
Antibes trip
Great location. Friendly staff. No mini bar and shower attachment was fitted across the bath which floods the floor each time you take a shower. Nice private beach.
Very friendly staff. Samuel at reception desk was very especially helpful.
Terrible quality of property.
Great location. Super for families. Staff very helpful. Had great recommendations on the area and restaurants. Will stay again. Clean and great views. Very happy with our stay.
Good location in Antibes short 10 min walk to downtown and near the beach
Hotel staff superb Room comfortable Excellent shower Shame no bar
I had been dealing directly with hotel because of change in plans. Before Expedia change deadline I emailed them to change from 1 room for 3 to 2 rooms. They didn't answer until deadline had passed and refused the change. I ended up paying over 2x as much for my now single room as my friends paid for their double, which was reserved that day. My room had damage from an a/c leak and the white privacy curtains did not close all the way. I feel they ripped me off because they were not full on a Sunday night.
Nothing close to 4 stars. The most run-down hotel on our trip. The room was in terrible condition. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the hotel room door wouldn’t close, the bathtub drain was broken, there was toilet paper wrapped around the smoke detector. The staff were rude and not helpful at all. I’ve stayed at 2 star and 3 star hotels that far surpassed this hotel. There are much better hotels for your money than this. They really should be embarrassed for the quality of their rooms & staff.
Pros: fantastic location, very large room, well supplied kitchen, large bedroom. Cons: room 205 was very dark (had to have lights on all day). Poor noise insulation - could hear chairs scraping on the floor above me.
Great hotel - clean, friendly, excellent location for both beach and the old town
Beautifully located
Bathroom the manager Joanne was incredible, helped us with our little problem with Expedia in booking and was very accommodating. And shower was extra water pressure was so good in bathroom. The breakfast was included and great and the parking was free and right underneath the hotel manager. I think we’re falling in love with Antibes.
Off season
Very good location direct by the sea and old town as well as good restaurants. Fees for SPA was mandatory and the treat was pleasant. Off season in early Dec so slow on activity and only breakfast serving. Friendly personnel and quite useful breakfast. Would go for the same place on revisit of Antibes.
The showers was not right, you have to hold with one hand and wash yourself.water was going on the floor.we were there on October and they were slow and the lady reception was nice she offered free parking.
The concierge was outstanding!
Sunrise
Superb location near the beach, restaurants and shops. Great balcony with stunning views. Sunrise every morning from the balcony. Great apartment with full kitchen, dinning and living area. Seperate bedroom. Will come again.
Super helpful and friendly staff
Great location and fantastic friendly, helpful staff provdinig great service
Great hotel perfectly situated with kind staff. If your growing to Antibes there really isn’t anything that compares. Especially if you have children.
Great hotel!
Generally we are very satisfied of the hotel. Only a few points which you would expect from such a high class hotel were to be paid. For example, privat beach, perfect, but very expensive to book a chair on the private beach, this should be free for hotel guests. Same for the parking, to be paid (20€/day!), should also be free of charge for hotel guests. But this couldn't prevent of having a very nice stay !!!
For a third of the price I would say it is value for money but for sure it is not worth the money we paid
Nice hotel
Nice apartment hotel close to the Beach. The Apartment was big and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day. Although I would not recommend visiting their beach club, the service was horrendous both times I were there, and paying 30€ per beach bed just to be ignored/not get any service is a waste of money and time
Just ok, restaurant Was good but unfortunately my husband’s sunglasses were pinched from the table, by one of the waitress staff which marred our experience.
Wonderful location!
Great Sea View
The location of this hotel and sea views are incredible
Beautiful views and rooms, central to Antibes, great breakfast and staff.
Great location
Lovely hotel, great location on the coast and only a 10 minute walk into the shops and restaurants of Antibes old town. The view from the ‘city view’ rooms however is not great, you are overlooking a street with a block of apartments.
Very nice staff, perfect location, clean and convenient.
THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOTEL AND IS MORE 2 STAR IF THAT I LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT STAFF ACKNOWLEDGED HOTEL NOT UP TO STANDARD BUT STILL REFUSED TO REEFUND 3 NIGHTS
The location was prefect- short walk into Antibes and right on the beachfront with stunning views. Staff were helpful and friendly. Towels for the beach were included with the room- great. Breakfast delicious and good value at 15 euros each. The private beach was also lovely. It was quiet as late Sept, and some of the staff were great there too. Wish the beach was included in the hotel, or at least discounted more for hotel guests. 40euros a day added up but needed it at 6 months pregnant and to have sun-loungers. However if you wanted you could just use the public beach next to it and perhaps purchase a parasol and chair! Lovely restaurants and bakery nearby We would stay again for sure.
Worst Stay of Our Lives
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and amongst the most expensive. Never got more than 4 hours of sleep due to a combination of the mattress being worn out, frame creaking with every move, flat pillows, cigarette smoke from the restaurant below, no ventilation in the bedroom and hearing the people above us. It is nothing like the photos. Poorly maintained, marks all over the walls, minimal to the point of impractical. The toilet room doesn't even have a towel hook for the sink. The staff did nothing when we asked for the ventilation and bed to be fixed. We then asked for a different room and we're given a downgraded room. It was just as bad for sleep quality since the pillows were flat, the mattress full of depressions and the neighbors above moving furniture at 5am. Just plain awful. The location is all it has going for it. I want my money back.
Great location. The best part was their beach club across the street.
Great location, friendly staff. Walking distance to everything!
The closeness to the very busy beach and the nice town (walking distance) and the underground valley parking for 20 euros per day but the following did not (we were in room 208) 1) leaky appliances (twice) 2) rotten smell in kitchen 3) shower way too small to keep splashing water in 4) blower not working 5) beach reservation at 25 euros pp per day not efficient as we had to remake our reservation since it was lost This is mot worth 4 stars (2 at best)
A 3-star experience at 5-star prices. Three stars is generous, it’s really closer to 2 in terms of the quality of the property and the appointment of the room and general space. Suite was IKEA-like at best and while the ocean view was lovely, the street noise kept us awake at night. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Great hotel in the beach in old Antibes. Beach is Public or pay for chairs in the hotel's adjacent private beach with food/cocktail service. Expensive but it is the Cotes d'Azur.
It is advertised as a Luxury Hotel, BEACH and Spa...however even after emailing the concierge a month ago to request lunch reservations & sunbeds (to which no response was received) there were no beds available throughout the whole wknd for us, it was even a struggle to request a lunch table. Hugely disappointing and mis advertised. If a hotel says it has a beach, hotel guests should be able to reserve beds.
Did not like the new breakfast experience too difficult to sit outside Insufficient shade and heavy door Insufficient juices on 3 occasions no orange juice even when requested
The position of Hotel was excellent with a modern, very pleasing decor & good size of bedrooms. The facilities were good and the staff were very friendly and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to family and friends. Jan New Zealand.
I like that it was across the street from the beach. We stayed in the Mediterranean room, it was nice and roomy. I didn’t like that it was on the first floor. I had requested a higher floor but it was not given to us. I don’t understand why they would put a very expensive room on the first floor.
What stand out about this hotel are its private beach, beach bar, and the sea view from the room balcony. For a 10+ year hotel, it is in good condition. As it is right by the beach, a stroll on the Riviera promenade or a walk to the old town is very convenient. Leah Kline's jazz renditions in the hotel lounge are superb.
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was perfectly located directly across from the beach. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient. The restaurant had great food and service.
We did not like the hotel, it was too austere! Very disappointing for the price we paid, we were expecting a lot more for that price. Also, the shower system was just horrible,
Hotel was close to the beach & old town. Convenient for our needs.
The location was great just a very nice 10 minute stroll along the sea front to the old town. The staff were very helpful. The room, although small was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing!
the staff was so incredibly friendly, we had a great experience!
Loved the Mediterranean suite. Beautiful views, spacious rooms and close to Old Town!
Love the dinning staff, super friendly and helpful.
Close to marina. Very nice area. Staff very friendly.
This location exceeded my expectations and that’s saying allot! It’s beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful and amazing. Loved it!
Fantastic hotel and staff!
It is a just repaired and decorated hotel, very new, a little smelly. but very lovely balcony for fresh air. Wonderful staffs were willing to help all the time. Very good in building parking. Will come back when here again.
The room was modern and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant on the property was convenient for breakfast.
Really enjoyable short break. Great location and nice, modern hotel
Great hotel close to the beach.
I only stayed here for one night, however when I return to Antibes I will definitely return here. The staff are wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful and it perfectly located ring just a few steps from the beach/ocean.
A wonderful hotel. Great staff and location great service and underground parking at hotel which is hard to find
Great all around
It was great, right across from a playground and beaches and also walking distance to the old town. Room was clean and stylish, I also took advantage of the gym and had a great facial at the spa
5star treatment for only a 4star price!
Lovely decorated modern hotel. The best service ever from all the staff. Hard to believe it’s only 4star. They give you a 5star treatment and will definitely study there again.
Highly recommend
We loved our are stay Royal Antibes ! It was relaxing, comfortable and so close to local restaurants and shops. The beach across the street and convenient. The staff were informative, fun and accommodating. My only recommendation is to keep up with the debris on the beach. Will definitely be revisiting!
Attractive hotel across from the beach. Great private beach club on the sand. Wish we had a sea view room that I thought I had reserved.
walking distance to beaches and old town difficult to get late check out price on the high side
Fantastic experience from the first minute at the front desk to the last. Smile, professionalism, kindness, flexibility for our check out. Very well located for both couples and family. We came with our two little kids and we had a wonderful weekend.
Very clean nice hotel. Rooms are a bit small but well done. Great location, walk into old town and port. Walk across the street to beach club. Hotel restaurant is great. Only thing missing was a wash cloth and soap, shampoo and conditioner🤔

Great facilities and friendly, helpful staff
Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all lovely and super helpful, going above and beyond to help us when some travel related issues occurred. Room (apartment) was very well equipped and kept spotless by housekeeping. Bed was comfortable and we found it quiet when trying to sleep. Sea view rooms might have a little more road noise at times. Location is also fabulous, just across the street from the sea and also very convenient with only a few (5-10) minutes stroll up to the Antibes Marché provençal, for example. There is a bus stop a few meters from the hotel entrance (which we used only once). The train station is a 20 minute walk. You can get a bus to the hotel from Pôle d'échanges beside the train station, but depending on the schedule it may be quicker to walk. The hotel had a bunch of amenities that we never used, just because we were out and about. We would definitely return and stay at this hotel again.
