Our hosts were excellent. They take great pride in their Inn and it shows in the finest details. An amazing, personalized breakfast! The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were knowledgeable about the area and there was a lot to learn about this very interesting area of Newfoundland. Glad we stayed!
This heritage house was beautiful. Set in the town of harbour grace. View of the water was great. The grounds were neatly kept.
Wonderful hosts! Highly recommend.
Beautiful room and home, fabulous breakfast, but best of all, George and Lynn were very friendly and accommodating hosts - thank you!
Was a well kept old historic home. Great base to travel to points of interest. Host guided us many a time on where to go and how to get there. Breakfast was just the way we do it at home. Host and hostess were so nice.
John and Cindy were amazing. Beautiful home. Fantastic food, snacks and conversation. We felt like members of the family. And Elwood the cat is such a sweetie! I highly recommend.
Just a pleasant experience all around
The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. There is a very warm and inviting atmosphere in the house.
Awesome hosts. Amazing breakfast. Highly recommend.
I travel extensively, although I have not often stayed in a B&B. There was nothing that we did not like about our stay. George and Lynn were the finest hosts that we have had, EVER! The best sleep I have had while in Newfoundland By the time we left, we felt like we had been staying with my favorite aunt and uncle. A great memory!
Was a beautiful old mansion like B&B and hosts Lynn and George were delightful and helpful. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this was among the best.
We only stayed one night, but would've been happy to stay longer. The grand old house is lovely, and George and Lynn are the most gracious of hosts. We had a lovely evening chatting with them, and it felt like we became friends in a short time. We would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to anyone.
Loved the heritage home. Owners were nice and made a great breakfast
Staff was friendly and helpful
Wonderful hosts. Beautiful room. Exceptional breakfast!
Delightful!
Delightful hosts, lovely home, cool and quiet for restful sleep. Successful local dinner recommendation. Delicious breakfast with excellent coffee. Couldn't be better.
Amazing old home in beautiful condition. Hosts George & Lynn were the best. Very knowledgeable about local history, current events & nearby eateries (lunch & dinner). Lynn outdid herself with breakfasts & we loved her homemade granola.
Lynn and George make you feel like family. No detail is overlooked. Would highly recommend a stay with them to anyone!
Lynne & George were amazing hosts in this charming, clean and very comfortable b&b with beautiful views of the bay. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Rothesay House was lovely. The hosts were gracious and informative. Breakfasts were delicious. There was lots of local information available as well.
I loved absolutely everything!!
Très bon accueil et déjeuner excellent et copieux; maison confortable
Great location and fabulous views
The house is a beautifully restored Victorian that sits right on the harbor with a grand front porch to take in the views. All the rooms are spacious and immaculate. George and Lynn are so accomodating and helpful and she prepares the most delicious full breakfast in the morning! The only drawback was the bed which was a bit small for me and my husband who is a big guy. We're used to a king bed at home and this was a queen. In the grand scheme of things this place was a gem!
Beautiful century old home. Our gracious hosts welcomed us as we arrived & were attentive to any request. Our room was the smallest in the house but very comfortable & breakfast was excellent. We would happily stay there again.
Lovely Heritage Home. Hosts were wonderful
Lovely accommodation with garden and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend for anyone coming to this area.
We were both impressed with both the home and the information we got from the owner George. Our home is over 100 years old with similar attributes which we liked. We would recommend this B&B and would stay there again.
Old Victorian style, fabulous breakfasts, and knowledgeable hosts.
George and Lynn have an incredible house in a special location. The history of the area is amazing, and George will tell you all about it. It's the perfect launching point for a day of exploration on the peninsula. And Lynn's excellent breakfast sets you up for the adventure.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens and home.
Wonderful characterful Victorian house with comfy rooms, each to their own style. Lovely position overlooking the water and nice areas for sitting out when the weather is fine. George and Lynn wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts
Very good. Would recommend to anyone.
George and Lynn are fantastic hosts, and cooks and generally friendly warm people. If you stay try and get the room on the front which has a stellar view. But even if you don’t from the side rooms you can still hear the ocean and sea gulls.
Had two wonderful evenings on the front porch with the other guests and the exceptionally friendly owners George and Lynn. The breakfast was fantastic. Not what you find at most B &B.
Quiet and relaxing
George and Lynn are very pleasant people to stay with. Lynn's breakfast is awesome. All home made. Try the honey! George is a wealth of info and helps you to make your travels easy for your day(s) jaunt. Room was clean and comfy. If we make it back to NFLD, we surely would return here.
Beautiful old house
The place is spotless and the food was very well prepared. It was so quiet at night you could hear yourself breathe. For a B&B this place is number one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for this type of accommodation.
Hugely recommended
Wonderful place to stay ....great view of the bay, wonderful service ....Proprietors George and Lynn were superbly attentive to all of our comfort needs. The inn is historic, beautifully maintained and like steeping back in time for me. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully served .....well done, folks. I would recommend this location to anyone. One note ....George wouldn't share their scallops ...:-)
