The property was very nice. The only issue was that there are no elevators in it. You need to walk two flights of stairs just to get to the office. Then our room was two flights of stairs more. Room was nice. No refrigerator or Tv. Great location though. We were across from the Christmas Market at the square. Staffwas very nice and spine good English.

Central but noisy location

Location was excellent and super convenient. Nearby metro and bus. Walking distance to centre of Lisbon. However, this central location was at the cost of a quiet night’s sleep - every night, there was constant loud noise on the street below from midnight until morning - a mixture of late night revellers and deliveries for nearby restaurants. Breakfast nice enough. Staff helpful and friendly.

This is a great hostel where we booked the private room to ourselves. It’s important to know that there is no lift and the check in is up a flight of stairs and your room will likely be more floors above, so it was tricky with our 2 large suitcases and hand luggage but manageable for us. The staff were very friendly and the vibe is really great and homely. We were impressed with our room and the location is very central

The staff are wonderful. Cherry and helpful. The place is older and worn. Beds squeak a lot but are comfortable. As with most hostels, there is very little room in the bathrooms!! No place to put down your toiletry bag (except in the sink) PLEASE add some shelves. Some stools (on which to place clothes so they don’t get wet on the floor) would improve the functionality immeasurably! But again, the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was adequate too 👍

A nightmare stay

I would have given zero or negative points for the overall experience if I could. The photos on the hotels.com website do not justify the real condition of this hostel. I was misled by the pictures and the reviews from hotels.com. The common area of the whole facility is dirty and dated. I have booked a private room, the room is not maintained properly. You can't close the window in this room to shield the very loud noise from the street since the wooden window frame is distorted. The street flies come into the room free from the top of the window. No towel was provided unless you ask. (The towel might be washed on-premise instead of being sent to the professional cleaning service.) The bed is very uncomfortable and the original plastic wrap is kept on the mattress. The price of the private room is more expensive than other 3 stars hotels in the neighborhood with much better-furnished rooms. The owner refused to move me to a different room or change the original booking from 2 nights to 1 night despite my concerns which I have communicated through two hotels.com reps. I ended up moving to a different hotel before my planned stay. Please avoid this place by all means.

Excellent and Friendly

This hostel is located right when you get off the bus from the airport. The location is fantastic. It is a quieter hostel. Definitely not a party hostel. I stayed in a private room, that was extra large. Please note that there are 8 flights of stairs to climb to get to the room, so if you are not able to climb stairs, this is not the hotel for you. The staff were very helpful and assisted me plan day trips and tours. I would definitely recommend this hostel for couples, solo travellers looking for a non party place.

Good hostel in a good location. Sharing bathroom was a challenge as not much cleaning was done.Also it was hard to find especially by taxi. Was actually easier to walk.

This place was excellent, esp. for someone who hasn't stayed in a hostel in decades. The place is really clean. The staff is really friendly and supportive so that you feel like you are home away from home. Thanks, Magdalena, Hugo, and the entire staff. I'm the one who left the ice cream and pastry for you. The breakfast was filling. Location was at the heart of Lisbon. The excellent grocery store, Pingo Doce, (with really inexpensive prepared foods, vegetables, meats, cheese, breads) was right around the corner, along with a wonderful, inexpensive buffet with all the meats, vegetables, salads you want. The only qualm about a hostel is that you're not guaranteed of a good night's sleep if your roomies are noisy or party-ers. It wasn't so bad. People are respectful. You meet and have interesting conversations.

The owners/managers were really great!! I missed breakfast and they insisted that I sit down and eat before heading out, it was no problem at all. Had a great chat along with coffee before heading out. Amazing view of the square from our room. Hot water. Fan in room. Locking safe inside an already locked compartment. Very cozy and chilled living room and dining area. Really loved this place. There are stairs to climb to get up to both levels...but if you’ve been exploring Lisbon you should be used to it.

It is an older house but interior is cool! Location is great! Train/bus station is just steps away. Restaurants just right outside. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room, bed sheet, pillow case and wash/shower room are clean. Ceiling fan in the room, no aircon, it gets hot at night, but sleeping in your undies helps. Lol. Huge&wide windows overlooking the Rossio square, so, bring your mask and earplug/headset. You can close the windows to reduce the noise and bright light. Lockers with FREE padlocks under your bed. Comfortable bed is foam, not a poky spring. Bunk bed is wood, so it is not sqeaky and shaky unlike metals. FREE rent towels, wi-fi and breakfast (regular toast or pancakes & scrambled eggs + free coffee / tea all day). 3 computer stations at the reception. Private showers/washrooms are outside the rooms. Room/maindoor key is a tap card key (don't place it near your phone because it disables it - you won't be able to get in specially when reception closes late at night-good thing it happened to me during the day!). I recommend that you research on the Lisboa Card - free train/tram/some museums everywhere + discount on almost everything including restaurants and tours. Can be bought at the tourist center at the airport.

Great stay at Rossio Hostel!

Hotel Rossio is an excellent hostel, located in the heart of Lisbon. I stayed here for three days in Feb '19. The entire staff is very helpful, there is a new owner 'Kamal' who is doing a great job in upgrading the already-beautiful place. Rooms were also comfy and the free breakfast offered is just amazing! I highly recommend staying at this place!

시설은 한국사람이 사용하기에 좀 낙후됐지만 스텝들의 서비스로 충분히 만회가 됩니다. 와이파이 신호가 조금 불안정하지만 근처 스벅에서 무료 와이파이를 쓸 수 있습니다. 다양한 국적의 사람들과 교류할 수 있고 아침식사가 무료인 점도 장점입니다. 현장에서 체류연장을 네고하면 깍아줍니다. 중계 홈페이지 숙박료가 확실히 비쌉니다. 무엇보다 위치가 환상적입니다. 알파마 방으로 달라고 하세요. 단점은 3층이 리셉션이고 4층부터 객실인데 엘베가 없으니 감안하세요.

4o andar sem elevador. Muito caro

O quarto ficav no 4andar do prédio sem elevador. Não existia a informação quando comprei. Eu não teria ficado, mas me Disseram que não devolveriam o valor pago. Além disso o valor não foi nada barato para os padrões do quarto.

Muito bom

Acomodação boa, bem localizado, na praça principal do Rossio, muitas lojas na redondeza, bem próxima a rua Augusta onde tem de tudo, variedades de restaurantes, lojas de souvenir, muito bom, café da manhã bem simples mas muito bom, local é bem rústico, única parte ruim é o banheiro compartilhado um por andar.

A localização é ótima! A vista do quarto que fiquei é linda.. o atendimento foi perfeito por parte dos recepcionistas. O atendimento do gerente, tem muito para melhorar! Falta simpatia e empatia! Os quartos ficam no último andar e não tem elevador, então é difícil quando vc tem mala pesada mas por sorte pude contar com a ajuda do Pedro, que foi um querido! O quarto para 4 mulheres não tem banheiro interno, é um banheiro feminino que compartilha com o restante do hostel (o anuncio é ambíguo). O quarto é ok, mas o isolamento acústico é pessimo! As portas de todos os quartos batem então dá para ouvir tudo muito alto. A limpeza do quarto é questionável, eu vi uma moça fazendo a troca de roupa de cama após a saída de uma menina do meu quarto e ela trocou tudo exceto o cobertor! O que é muito nojento!! O banheiro tem um cheiro forte de esgoto, me incomodou muito o sistema do chuveiro em que vc tem que ficar apertando um botão para a água sair e dura 20 segundos. O banheiro é mal formulado de modo que vc não tem posição para trocar de roupa sem ué seja possível te ver sem roupa por quem passa no corredor, isso porque tem um espelho enorme.

La struttura è situata in un punto perfetto di Lisbona, collegata con la metro e le sue vie principali. Ci è stata data una stanza bellissima, confortevole e con vista sulla piazza; la reception e l’accoglienza sono stati veramente gentili

A localização é o ponto positivo. O resto achei bem ruim. A entrada é por uma loja de souvenir. Escadas, os quartos são antigos, camas boas, lençol e toalha bom. Café da manhã é simples, mas bom. Infelizmente vimos baratas, pequenas, andando na cozinha. O quarto misto é bem relaxado, tinha resto de cama e beliches no canto, não tem iluminação ou tomadas individuais

Cama muito confortável, solicitei a a cama baixa e me deram sim. Para o inverno não vai fazer calor, porém para o verão é quente. Tem apenas um ventilador de teto e que é fraco, porém como o clima estava bom, não senti calor. Café da manhã justo para o preço. Muito perto do metrô, de frente a praça do Rossio. Funcionários educados e prestativos.

Una estadía genial, todos los trabajadores del hostal muy amables, simpáticos y dispuestos a ayudar, el desayuno muy variado y rico, permiten utilizar la cocina todo el día y dejar tus cosas en el refrigerador, se pueden utilizar todos los utensilios, microondas, horno, etc. La ubicación no puede ser mejor, un lugar tranquilo con el metro y supermercado al lado. El check out es a las 12:00 pero pueden guardar tu equipaje en una sala con llave y además puedes seguir utilizando las instalaciones del hostal. Recomendamos completamente este hostal, nuestra estadía fue genial y nos hicieron sentir como en casa, no es un hostal cualquiera, cada detalle es especial. Estamos muy agradecidos con todo el personal, Daniel, Cintia, Elsa, etc.
