I left the hotel early cause I had my neighbor older gentleman stand outside my door which I thought that was odd especially since it was just myself until my husband got off work. So I called to inform the front desk in case there were other complaints and I felt like Alisa dismissed my concern.

From the time I drove on to the property and met the security at the front gate (Simon) I knew this was the hotel to stay at. When I checked in I met the most energetic, friendly, fun lady at the front desk who made me say YES I love it here. The rooms need a bit of a facelift because it’s dated but for the price I have no issues. The location is perfect and the staff I encountered were fantastic

Always a great day when you stay here, the people are friendly. The hotel is close to the shopping areas and restaurants. Everybody is friendly. I will stay there again.

An older property but very well maintained. Our room was big over looking the pool. Pool looked clean with alot of loungers. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge. Staff were welcoming and helpful. They were able to accommodate us with an early check in and late check out. Stored our bags after check out. $6 uber ride to universal studios. Lots of places to eat close by. We didnt eat here. They were offering a breakfast for about $17. They offer shuttle service to universal but keep in mind it may be free but it makes multiple stops. Our uber ride was about 10 min. I would definitely recommend this property.

Hotel is very secure with security on property. I have stayed at the Rosen Inn at least 6 times and have never been disappointed in the cleanliness and staff. This is my go to hotel when I am in Florida.

My reservation was canceled and they notified me when I arrived to the hotel. I reserved the room and checked the option of being charged at the hotel. They canceled my reservation before my arrival. Expedia and the hotel did NOT honor the reservation and the option given to me! I will not reserve again with you!

the location is decent. they have some security. and the room is small but fine for 1 person. dingy needed some upkeep. but overall. the room is good enough.....it's somewhat depressing. but maybe because the weather was cold and not so many people.....I 1 30 am. employee knocked on my room. 3rd time in 3 days. but didn't need the wake up........

Old property No technology

I have stayed here many times, property inside needs a deep cleaning, room carpets are dirty, just getting dated. Can't say about the other ROSEN INNS but I don't like paying as much as I did to not get what I am used to getting.

We had a poor experience at the Rosen Inn. We stayed on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, when Orlando was experiencing unuaually cold weather. When we arrived, there was only one person - the manager - working the front desk, and we waited in line to check in for *over an hour*. While we were waiting in line, there was a person manning the excursions desk standing within eyeshot, but they couldn't help other than ask those of us in line we wanted to book anything. When we finally got to the front, we were hande a key that didn't work. Because the rooms open to the outside, we were stuck outside in the freezing cold for another half hour while they figured out what was going on. The rooms themselves were fine, but they let in a lot of noise (even the ones facing the courtyard). We went to discuss our poor experience with the front desk in the morning, and were basically brushed off by the employee (who gave his name as "Thomas"). All in all, we're glad we were only here for one night. We can't recommend this hotel.

Terrible Christmas and New Years trip 2025

The hotel did not a resturant that had full service. The customer service was poor and unfriendly. Hotels.com helped move me from 6327 International drive to 7900 International drive and the hotel room smelled so bad. Also the breakfast ifbyou did not eat at 630am when it opened was disgusting. Causing me to pay another 700 USD at the Coco Key resort after paying 1608.62 USD..I recieved a small credit but it ruined and cost me more and more money. I did complain but nothing became of my complaint. Its like the Rosen collects money from customers but doesnt care about service.

I love the area, that it's close to everything like restaurants, bus stops, and Walgreens. The pool is great and so are the sitting area. An outlet over the refrigerator would be better so guest can use the coffee pot instead of having to put it over the sink. Also The Lit Bite shop in the lobby is very expensive. I will definitely go again,which would be my third time at Rosen Inn.

Everything is well. The hotel has location and it’s convenient with a good price. The rooms were clean and quiet too. If toothbrush and toothpaste are provided, it will be even better.

There was mold on the bathroom floor and above the entrance door of our hotel room. The toilet had issues with flushing.

Room to small bed and pillows to hard. The room i paid for was for 5 people they wanted to charge me when i left. They told me during cheak in that everything was paid for even the extra bed. When i cheacked out they told me to pay 60 dollars for the extra bed

Great Deal Hotel

Always great to come back, staff is very helpful and courteous and the rooms are clean and comfortable, plus we got a 20% discount on the restaurant, can't wait to come back.

The first night of our stay we noticed a foul odor after checking in. We blamed it on someone nearby smoking. We notified staff and they said they would check into it. We also noticed a roach in our bathroom. The second night of our stay we again noticed a foul odor and noticed another 4 roaches. We also had torn bath towels for our showers. The next morning we notified the staff and were told we were going to be moved. Upon returning that evening were given another room. We were happy with our second room although we had torn bath towels again. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The only bright spot was Simon who checked us in at the main gate. There was an ice machine on the 4 th floor but no ice. The rooms were very small and very outdated. Bathroom was extremely small. The room smelled like dirty feet.

Negative point is the small bathroom. Positive point is the helpful staff. When I contracted I thought breakfast was included but in the reservation says available. This misunderstanding me. And the price is expensive $ 17,00 each

The accessibility to the different areas was nice. Did not loled that it was promoted as breakfast included but when you got there you had to pay for breakfast.

Not the best hotel near Universal Studios

My wife and I stayed here for about a week to be near Universal Studios. The hotel itself is a bit outdated. The rooms were comfortable enough for the stay and it is great that they offer free shuttle service to the theme parks. My two main issues were that we kept finding tiny ants near our bathroom sink and the halls smelled really bad. Not sure if it was a plumbing issue or A/C issue but the 5th floor smelled horrible. The location of the hotel was pretty good. The bus and iTrolley had a pickup spot right in front of the hotel which was convenient. Plenty of food options around the hotel and some cool mini golf spots. Overall, it was a decent hotel but I am not sure I would stay here again. I would recommend Rosen International or Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista. Same company, similar rates but much nicer properties.

So far, I have never had a bad experience at Rosen Inn properties! I stay pretty regularly at the other locations, but this is my first at Universal location.. Did not disappoint. Very well run chain of hotels as well as the value can’t be beat!!

Their system was down upon check-in. Thirty mins to wait in line and get a room but the room card wasn't working so you had to wait for security to come up and give you access. It was about 4 hrs until they had a card that would work. Not a huge deal but maybe they could have offered a free breakfast or at least a discount. Room was average and the bed wasn't very comfortable. I guess you get what you pay for. I don't think I'd stay here again.

Close to everything!

So the key here is location and this is it..located conveniently on International Drive right across the street from arcade Monsters and lots of great restaurants. The downside I would say it's pretty mediocre quality. Rooms are bit outdated not generally super clean looking but also not a bad value for the price.

Reported leaky toilet but no one came to check on it. Water was on bathroom floor and sink vanity area.

Only problem I had was identifying THIS Rosen Inn to the OTHER Rosen Inn on the same street. One night I went to the wrong one and did not know that until I saw 4-digit room numbers instead of 3. That was not fun

Property is very convenient when going to Universal and exploring International Drive.

Overall, our stay was okay. Simon at security was super friendly and the highlight of the hotel! The check in staff were friendly as well, and they have a small convenience area for quick drinks and snacks. Upon arrival to our room, we noticed things were broken, to include the light fixture being held together by zip ties. It was an okay stay for our two nights we were in town, but we likely wouldn't stay again.

Our room had a lot of small cockroaches in the bedroom. And If you receive a package at this hotel the charges are $10.00 per package. Not cheap at all.

Stayed for 1 night and everything went great. Check in was smooth. Very happy about that. The room was in the tower. Nice view. Clean. Comfortable bed. My GF wants to stay there again. Tried the restaurant downstairs. Very good sushi. Didn’t do hibachi, but will try that next time. Overall great stay. Breakfast was a bit more expensive than expected, but there was a discount available.

I like the room, location and hotel. But, when i confirmed my reservation they confirmed transportation to Disney. When I called to get the schedule, i was told that they only go to Universal. That really put a major change in our plans, and a costly one. I would have stayed at a different hotel. Also, they need pest control desperately.
