Spent 11 Nights in Feb 2025. 3 groups of families visiting from Canada. The bedrooms are huge and kitchen facilities are more than adequate. Very clean and safe. Reception was always willing to accommodate and were very friendly. We had a rental van but Avondale railway station is just steps away. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only downsides were lack of anywhere to place toiletries in the bathroom and the very limited dining options within walking distance.

Wow! Great pace definitely will use again

Satisfactory, comfortable, convenient location. But issues with maintenance - had to move rooms because if leaking aircon AND the wifi was down for an afternoon/evening!! Parking is $15 per day.

Very cozy, nice amount of space. 1 bedroom is perfect for two people like a couple. Me and my partner really enjoyed how soft the beds were, made Falling alseep super easy!!! Best hotel ive stayed in!!

Great place to stay.

Comfortable room. Gated parking available but an extra charge. Only one air conditioner for the unit which was in the main living space, had to keep the bedroom doors open for it to cool those rooms. Across from a train station, but did not hear much train noise (although I sleep with ear plugs.

Apartment was exactly as described. Neat and clean with everything we needed. Hotel staff were great.

Outstanding

This is now our number 1 choice for Auckland accommodation. Very quiet. And yet close to cafes, train station, and main arterial routes. The rooms are huge! Totally recommended.

Really enjoyed staying here. Spacious, clean, accessible accommodation. We were happy to pay for the overnight parking as it felt really safe and secure. The staff were super friendly and helpful - they even left us an awesome snack bag on arrival which featured lots of yummy NZ snacks. We were in the main building which had a lift to get to our apartment easily.

Second time staying here. I highly recommend... Bummer they charge for parking on premises now though. See you next time :)

This is an amazing place to stay. And well named - the rooms are enormous. This is our go-to place in Auckland now

Helpful friendly staff. Secure parking. A high standard of cleanliness. Bed sooo comfortable and an excellent shower. The accommodation was spacious, more than I expected.

A lovely large studio type room, good laundry facilities and pleasant front desk staff.

Loved having a great hotel out west Auckland. My parents stayed in the premium suites and it was fantastic! We stayed in the family lofts, great accommodation but the bunk beds were uncomfortable for our 21 year old twins. Other than that we would stay there again.

We loved our two night stay in our beautiful Apartment. We had so much room and our Apartment was newer and so clean. The location was great.

Have to now pay for parking. This should be on the booking page so guests are aware of it before arrival. It would be a good idea if the cleaning staff have availability to a Phillips Screw Driver so the pot handles can be checked for tightness. The handles were loose, causing a dangerous situation.

Brilliant place, close to Avondale shops & cafes, close to trains & busses AND very quiet. Well appointed spacious rooms. Hard to beat.

Comfortable stay

Very well priced, room was clean, modern, close to restaurants, easy secure parking. No lift to our floor (3rd) so beware if you have large bags, wasn’t a problem for us. The apartment we had had streetlights and train behind (Road front). Train noise was more of a whisper sound. If you like a dark room, this one probably wouldn’t be for you as they only have roller blinds inside the window frame, so a lot of light still spills into the bedroom (road side). Overall very good option, well worth the price paid. would definitely stay again, not sure what the other rooms (not roadside) would be like for light blocking.

Great property. We had booked a room with twin beds but none available so they upgraded us to a 3 bedroom apartment which was great. Happy to pay for parking as it was in a secured carpark.

The apartment was very nice and tidy. The one thing i didnt like about staying in the loft was climbing all the stairs to get to our room.

Not a good experience

Not so good experience staying in the family loft . The bathroom in the bedroom and the sink was very small and uncomfortable for brushing teeth or a face wash. Will not recommend this place nor return to stay here in future

Friendly staff, clean comfy bedrooms, brill little kitchenette, all we could ask for and suited our wee family well.

Friendly economical stay.

The area is nice. The room is nice, clean and tidy. One thing I didn't like about is that parking is not free.

Overall is good. Only problem is it charged me nzd 160 without explanation during checking out early in the morning.

Loves the apartment, perfect for families. Was unaware of the lack of lifts to get our luggage to the top floor - overall a super nice place to stay!

Quirky décor but really nice place to stay. Avondale rail station just out the door. The electric trains are so quiet they did not disturb us during the day or at night. Lovely helpful staff.

We stay here frequently when visiting family in Auckland and it’s always clean and comfortable. Service is great.

A two room studio with a kitchenette was perfect for a family weekend.

Need to upgrade TV and must tell customer that they are charging extra for parking n stuff

Liked our accommodation, cleanlness, safe and friendly staff. We did not like the limited tv channels, everything through a satchet. Need a clock on the wall.

Love this place.

Overall the accom was some of the best in NZ. Great value for money and the staff very helpful. Although I think this booking site needs to make it clearer about having to pay for parking as that would normally be a deal breaker for myself. Also I think the bond needs to be made clearer as I have never been asked for one before. You should have an option for parking that you pay for at the time of making the booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roomie Apartments, It's very central, so traveling around Auckland was easy Our apartment was modern, very clean with plenty of space I would recommend Roomie to anyone wishing to stay in central Auckland and we will definitely stay there again.

Brilliant place to stay. On the train line direct from Britomart & only a couple of stops from Eden Park. A very short walk to Avondale Market on a Sunday. Very comfortable, well equipped rooms. We could see the harbour from the dining table of our queen studio! And we had a kitchen complete with oven. Definitely recommend Roomie.

It’s a good place to stay overall for a family like ours. Only downside for us is not having a lift in the building since we have really big luggages.

Second time staying here and superb value for money. Would love to have an elevator in the family loft building but then again the stairs must be good for our health in one way or the other.

No lifts for Loft Apartments

I was extremely pleased with the customer service provided. The accommodations exceeded my expectations and were well worth the cost. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this establishment to others.

Property not properly maintained. There are areas of missing carpets right outside the room. It shouldn’t take an hour to fix it but remained during our stay.

This property was so wonderful, spacious, and as the name suggests - roomie! The layout was so lovely, almost like having your own personal tiny home. By far the largest hotel room I've ever stayed in. I didn't even realise it had a full kitchen until I arrived, I was so pleasantly surprised. The whole building smelled very lovely and was very clean. Would definitely stay here again
