Love staying in Chiswick so was super happy to find this hometel… great concept! Awesome cafe downstairs… nice rooms with kitchenette!
Perfect location. Nice neighborhood. Modern and clean.
Excellent
Special thank you to Gerti
Artistic Eco friendly Place
Cozy nicely decorated little studio place to stay. Clean with practical little kitchenette, providing nice organic teas and every basic amenities needed for self catering. Friendly service with nice little cafe downstairs. Shops, transport and restaurants all at a walking distance.
Had a great stay whilst visiting our daughter in Chiswick. So convenient, everything you need in a room and staff so friendly and helpful.
A really lovely hotel. Close to amenities and has everything you need for a short or slightly longer stay. The little kitchen area in the room is really useful. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and some crockery/cutlery to use. They have tea, coffee, salt and pepper, and a shopping bag for you to use if you want to go and buy some food. There is an m&s foodhall nearby. There is a small glass bottle that you can take to the coffee shop downstairs and they will fill it up with milk (they offer plant based milks too). The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I really liked the decor in the room, it gave a bo-ho chic vibe and the soft furnishings and lamps made the room feel really cosy. They offer breakfast in the coffee shop downstairs. We opted for a hot drink and pastry which was nice but the hot options looked lovely - full english, eggs benedict, eggs on sourdough, lots of choice. Another useful perk is the wifi and that you can cast your phone/tablet to the tv to watch netflix etc. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
Great location
Had a quiet comfortable lovely time
Very quiet and lovely and comfortable. Loved the room. The food wasn’t my thing but that might just be my own taste preference, it’s nice that it is available though I wouldn’t get the breakfast option next time. The gym was so convenient. Love that they had laundry although it took so many hours to clean and never fully dried so just be mindful of that and time if you decide to use the laundry
Really quirky concept but the room was really original and spacious. Didn’t use the kitchenette but it looked clean with smeg appliances. Midday check out is nice and I parked on road overnight which has a 4 hour limit during the day.
Great hometel, bad experience with eco attitude
Great hometel, rooms are great, they feel much nicer than regular hotel rooms, fully stocked kitchens with good quality items, I've stayed here a few times now, only downsides are reception staff could be a bit more professional and biggest issue is the thermostat, you can't go past a certain temperature and I woke up to a freezing room (outside was -3c on that specific night) and saw the system was OFF and I hadn't turned it off, whatever eco thing they're trying, turning the heating system off at a -3 night is the stupidest things I've experienced.
A room that fits all your needs.
Great new hotel. 3 minute walk from the underground. It took us about a 20 minute ride to get to central London. We cooked some meals in our room to save some money. Local supermarkets are just a close walk away. Quiet neighborhood. Cafe is great for a quick breakfast. The gym is excellent if running in the cold London park is too much for you.
Just off Chiswick high street, Room2 was in an excellent location will good transport links. The bar / cafe area was lovely, we didn’t eat or drink there but the options looked good! The room was very clean with lovely decor. Unfortunately it was very cold in the room in the evening. There was no radiator or obvious way to control the temperature. We did report this to the help number but never got a response. I went to bed with two jumpers and trousers on and was still really cold. Not ideal for a night away! Unfortunately this impacted what would have otherwise been a good trip.
Great staff. Well thought out. Lovely room. Nice bed.
My husband and I had a truly wonderful stay from start to finish. We were greeted with the warmest welcome by the lovely Italian night manager. The room was clean, modern, and cosy, and the staff went the extra mile to ensure we felt well taken care of. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, and we loved the smoothies. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
2 night stay
Service was excellent and what we have come to expect as this is our third visit. Very comfortable rooms
Excellent service
It's a very smart hotel. The staff is very nice and attentive. We’ll definitely come back.
Cute room
Lovely hotel
Great location, lovely boutique hotel with sweet touches in the room. Loved the breakfast and attention to detail.
Loved everything about it!
Everything about this hotel is wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the shower is hot, and the location is great. It is so nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city center with wonderful restaurants, parks and a tube station only a 2 minute walk away. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and clean, and everyone we met was helpful and kind.
Cosy room, very quiet and easily accessible. Everything we needed for a night away.
I loved my stay! The staff are amazing, the restaurant exceptional, and the accommodations seriously my favorite in London. The location is perfect for getting everywhere so easily. Will stay again!
Chiswick gem.
Great stay. Well equipped room with kitchenette. Super comfy, good sized room with excellent on site cafe. 5 mins from the tube and lovely shops and restaurants on Chiswick high street. Ideal base for visiting our children nearby.
An amazing find
This place is awesome. A great find. Decor and style. First class. Incredibly clean. We had a studio which was perfect. Spacious yet still cosy. Huge shower! Anthony gave up the warmest welcome too. Will definitely stay here again. Very close to Tube!
Perfect stay!
Absolutely wonderful hotel. Staff super friendly and accommodating! Beds so cosy and gorgeous quirky rooms. Loved our 3 night stay!
Love the cheswick area and hotel was very homey and accomidating.
great staff spacious rooms clean
Lovely stay in a lovely area
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chiswick. The hotel has a wonderful feel to it, very cosy and welcoming. Room (studio) had plenty space for 2 and we were impressed by the facilities. The zero waste ethos is a welcome bonus. The local area has many varied shops, restaurants and the tube station is literally a few minutes walk away. We couldnt fault it and would definitely stay again.
Brilliant stay
Great location off the High Road in Chiswick with easy access to bus and Tube. Love the kitchenette with local grocers nearby.
There was a mix up at checkin which took too long to resolve The room safe did not work The service was slow
Meilleure chambre à vie
Top qualité. bien situé, bien insonorisé. J’y vivrais:)
First stay at room2 Chiswick but would definitely stay again. Room was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend
Favourite home from home!!
Room2 has been my best hotel experience in years. The building is near new and the staff is excellent. Chris was always helpful and brings an entertaining spin to his service. Property is close walk to the tube. Transport to Heathrow and city center was a breeze. Dining options are unlimited. High Road has a weekly market and local cheeses were the feature during our stay. Will stay here again on next visit.
Cosy home in London
Lovely cosy hotel very close to tube station Turnham green, taxi stand and three supermarkets. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Coffee is great! Kitchen has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Big bathroom. The only design flaw is toilet seat has no cover (odd after post covid) so bring your own perfume!
Incredible
This stay was amazing! I chose this hotel as I was taking my partner to see a Shakespeare production in Kew Gardens. The location was amazing, about a 10 minute Uber drive from Kew. The hotel is easy to get to, about 10 mins walk, maximum, from the station. As the stay and show were a surprise my partner was completely in the dark. I asked the hotel if I could have a specific room I’d seen in the pictures online, as I knew it would be the one she’d love the most, I was so pleased at check in to find out they’d accommodated my request. My partner loved it. They also left a few drinks in the room and a hand written note congratulating us on our anniversary. This was a lovely touch! The hotel was beautiful, even more stunning than the pictures, the room had everything you could need, the staff were really friendly. Girti (hope I’ve spelled/remembered correctly) was great at check in. The decor was great, the bar area too, we had a drink on the first night. The surrounding area is really nice, lots of cool shops, cafes etc within walking distance. It’s even more amazing that this is an eco hotel, it’s great to stay somewhere and feel it’s as responsible as possible. The late check out let’s you really enjoy the next day too. I would love to stay here again some time, I likely will!
Pros: 2 blocks from the underground, plenty of dining options, direct line from Heathrow and to London city center, and relatively clean and quite. Cons: the biggest issue was the AC/heating - ours was locked for 2 days and we were unable to control the temp in our room so we were chilly. We asked someone about it on the 2nd day and were told that he could change the temperature for us, but it didn't seem to make a difference that night. On the 3rd day our AC/heater was unlocked again and we could control it. Besides that there were a lot of small inconveniences such as absolutely no drawers so you will be living out of your suitcase on whatever available table space you have, the AC is also shut off between 1 to 10am unless you ask them not to. We booked a room for 2 guests, but our room was set up for 1 person so we had to go find someone to get an extra towel. No tissues - speaking as someone with a constant runny nose in cold weather. No creamer for coffe or tea - they offer a little room pitcher that you will have to take up to the bar to get milk. Our bathroom was also right next to the bed so you could hear everything.
Loved that it was a quiet, clean, comfortable room with kitchen available, and close to restaurants. Only wish the tube station was closer, but replacement buses did run nearby. Would definitely stay again!
Great location 5 minutes to underground so that London was at our fingertips. everything we needed provided and staff was excellent highly recommended
Very helpful staff. Had a problem with a window at night and a person came down immediately to see to it.
It was excellent in every way. Loved staying here!!
A Memorable Stay
This is an eco-friendly hotel, beautifully layed out, with very accommodating staff. Good food and drinks. The only problem we had with our 2+ week stay was that sometimes it was difficult to read due to low-level lighting in the room for a few of the lights.
Fabulous
Gorgeous room, really well decorated. The bed is super comfortable and the room has everything you need. Great location near transport and shopping.
Worth it
Very clean and nice place. Right around the corner from several delicious food places!
The hotel was absolutely amazing! The room was gorgeous and extremely clean. The lady who checked me in however I found to be quite blunt and not very welcoming, I think her name was Barbara. Regardless, it was a lovely stay :)
Lovely stay here for work!
Very clean, loved the kitchenette, easy access to public transport and great dining options in the area
Cool and quirky
Beautiful property, cool and quirky Gym was fabulous and well equipped Menu for breakfast was great but service was a little slow
Great place to stay in the UK. Close to transport.
This Chiswick Room2 Hometel is a progressive, environmentally friendly hotel staffed by explicitly avante garde left-wing young people with concern for social causes. Probably the nicest woke, left-wing young people I have ever met. They care about issues, and issues are totally integrated into your stay, without being obtrusive. There are little messages posted in various places whose collective message is, "while you stay here in our hotel, do your little part to save the planet." At first I was a little put off, but then I came to feel that it is really wonderful to have a business that actually believes something and puts it into practice. Clean, quiet, friendly... When I am at that hotel I truly feel that I am home for a couple of days.
Great room, great staff!
Truly worthy of the name of hometel - would definitely stay again next time in london. My 1st try was room2 in Belfast, which was fantastic, so glad I got to try the Chiswick one. Staff were all so friendly, absolutely love Daniel from Napoli and our conversation on Italian food not to mention being ever so grateful for his recommendations of fine London Italian restaurants. Really love being able to cook simple things using kitchen facilities when away from home so didn't have to eat out for every single meal. Also very impressed with design which makes a cosy room feel spacious , which is so rare among London hotels. Simply can't recommend room2 hotel enough.
Very friendly staff nice location, however...
The hotel itself was nice and the staff was very friendly and quick to help with any issues. One thing I didn't like was the fact that the ac turns off when you go out for the day. When you are out walking around in the heat all day, you don't want to have to return on the ac and wait for it to cool, you want to walk into a cool room. We even had to turn it back on in the middle of the night every night because it kept turning off. The two other things were the pillows were so soft that the two of them felt thin as paper once you laid down and the hallway had a very bad odor to it. I'm not sure if it had something to do with the building or something they clean with maybe, but it was very unpleasant. If you will be needing the tube it was about a 4 block walk, so not bad. There are also many places to eat very close by and a nice park a block or two away.
Safe and quiet. Supper friendly staff
Great stay
Great one night stay. Well equipped and beautifully designed room. Perfect location. Will definitely stay again!
I stayed here twice in the studio category. The price for this room changes considerably - the studio was as little as GBP99 to a max of GBP170 excluding breakfast. At GBP99-120, it's a great value option if you're happy to be in Chiswick. I love the area but it is not central. I love it because it is not central and feels villagey but close enough to good transport to get where you need to go. The hotel is on a quiet road and there is double glazing, so no need to worry about road noise. Sadly the room doors are not soft closing and are set to slam shut instead. As a result I heard and felt doors slamming until past midnight. The wall that my bed was against would shake each time, the force was that strong.I cannot understand how some hotels don't go the soft close like others, can't imagine it's too expensive and makes a world of difference. Fortunately I didn't have people coming back in the wee hours whilst I was there. The ac turning off at 1am which others have commented about - you can ask to have it kept on, which I did, but it seemed to have a mind of its own. Space/size is excellent for London and whilst the kitchenette is missing a few things for a proper cook (ie pan big enough to cook pasta), it functions ok for small things. A Nespresso machine instead of instant coffee would be very welcome. Staff are really nice, sometime trying a bit too hard to be funky/cool, but nothing grating. I didn't try the breakfast as so many good cafes around. I'd stay here again.
Great studio with generous amenities, allowing for long stays and with pets (we had poodles) if you have them with you. Great location - close to parks, transport (buses and the London Underground), with an abundance of cool and chic pubs and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.
Very nice hotel to stay. Room was quiet and very comfortable. We were only in London for one night this time, but this hotel and the room we had were really well equipped and would make a great base to explore Chiswick and London from for a few days.
We loved everything about this hotel!
So quiet and so relaxed
Eco hotel in great location
The staff were super friendly. Online check in and out process super smooth. Great bar for cocktails in the evening. Breakfast selection was great. Amazing location for proximity to Turnham Green station, Kew Gardens and Gunnersbury Park. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
Wonderful stay again
Overall good
The courtyard rooms are underground, the window is a little misleading as there is a block of concrete in front of the rooms. Not exactly a courtyard. Sustainable is great, but at the expense of room comfort eg cannot control the temperature in the room. Very dark in the lower ground rooms.
Excellent Hotel
Excellent all round hotel, classy decor and well finished rooms. Lovely bar on the ground floor and good amenities. Would highly recommend.
Lovely boutique hotel
Had a great night. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The best!
First time at a boutique hotel. We had a great time
Great hotel!
Great hotel! Looos exactly as it dies in pics but better. I requested early check in at booking which was accomodated on the day with a room upgrade also! Super quiet room, comfy bed...huge shower. We will definitely stay again.
Perfect combination of arty decor, comfortable rooms & bed, convenient location and surprisingly well priced! Exceptional staff. A real gem in London! They get everything right. My new home away from home!
Absolutely beautiful stay, our room was gorgeous, clean, everything we needed! The staff were so helpful! And the facilities were great! Thanks so much. Would definitely return!
The staff was very helpful.
Our stay at this hotel was wonderful! Fantastic staff and a great breakfast. Rooms were so well thought out and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
Great value hotel. Excellent size studio with all amenities. Very customer friendly staff.
Good hotel - convenient location
Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and not over crowded. It's 5 min walk from Turham Green. Some lovely eating places within 5 mins of walking distance.
Loved it!!!
My new favourite place to stay in West London. Loved everything about it and the surrounding area.
This is an exceptional hotel. They live up to their goal of being a home away from home. It’s very comfortable and in an excellent location with easy access to parks, the tube, restaurants, everything but yet very peaceful.
Nice hotel, parking will be tricky on anything other than a Saturday evening through Sunday, but there is a tiny pay and display car park round the corner by the green.
Great Green hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. The rooms are large, clean, with a mini fridge, stove, coffee maker, etc. the staff are remarkable, in particular Chris. They all work overtime to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.
Best place in London for a couple’s get-away
Absolutely incredible! This place is out of this world. So pretty and cozy! We will definitely be back!
Great accommodation with very helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and good facilities in Studio.
Close to the train station
Couldn't open the window and huge winter duvet, otherwise all good!
We love this hotel and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Our go-to place in Chiswick.
It was beautiful! And perfect for me as I was on a course, didn’t know the area and was alone. Turnham Green is a lovely vibrant area, I grabbed some shopping and headed ‘home’ to cook it in my fabulous fully equipped kitchen. Slept so well in my really comfortable bed, with great pillows! Was sad to leave! Can’t rate my stay enough! 10/10
Lovely boutique hotel with nice bar area. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Great location. Friendly staff.
Perfect snug room for a 1 night stay. Very quiet and comfortable. All you need is there.
Good drop off and pick up spot at front door of hotel. Only took Uber about 5 minutes for pickup. Easy checkin and staff showed us to our room and explained amenities which is only a gym. Big room and comfy bed. A/C and WiFi worked good. TV remote was missing a battery but staff gave us a working one right away. I needed some orange juice to take my nighttime medicine and front desk provided at no charge. Can’t get proper English breakfast but could get soft boiled eggs and toast, but they were out of bacon.
Basement flat
Courtyard room. Reminded me of a basement flat i once rented in Maida Vale. Dark with bad layout. Not at all comfortable. Wouldn't choose to stay again.
Very kind and accommodating staff. Loved the studio we stayed in! Located in a really sweet and fun area. Totally would return.
Great accommodation, great staff, great breakfast!
Easy access to different modes of transport, choice of places to eat although it would help greatly if they had an in-house restaurant for light meals and a good cooked breakfast.
Lovely snug room
Staff were so friendly, it’s such a lovely and homely place. Love the interiors and our room was a perfect size for the two of us (snug room). Only downsides for us were the walls had quite a lot of marks in our room, and the pillows were pretty rubbish. No neck support and didn’t sleep too great because of the mild discomfort in my neck. Apart from that, I can’t fault it. There were plenty of utensils to cook meals, a microwave, hob, toiletries in the shower, and nice extras such as card games, teas/coffee, and shopping bags.
I travelled to London with my mother in April 2024. We stayed our first 4 nights at Room2 Chiswick and it was wonderful. The hotel is located a very short walk from Turnham Green Underground station and, even late at night, it felt very safe walking to and from the underground. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well stocked with teas/coffees and even chocolate bars! The hotel has a lovely little eating area and there was some live music while we were there. The gym is small but they had peloton bikes and a rowing machine and lots of free weights (dumbbells and yoga mats). The hotel is located a very short walk to a high street with plenty of coffee shops and drug stores. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and I would definitely stay there again in the future. It exceeded my expectations!
Great location, friendly staff, super clean & great decor. Would recommend.
Stylish contemporary hotel with a homely friendly atmosphere helped by staff man Eddie and his down to earth yet professional attitude. Great value for money. A hidden gem

Home away from home
Great little spot would stay again
