Loved this place! The staff were all so friendly & helpful, the room, the breakfast, the beautiful garden, the pool! The property was so well looked after, as were we. We stayed for 4 nights & didn't want to leave, felt so safe & relaxed here! Free bikes, 20 minutes cycle into town, or 15 minutes to the beach, a taxi costs about 50,000d from the old town if you plan to stay out later :) loved Rock Villa!

Great place to stay

Great location for exploring Hoi An outside of the old-town. Room was large and comfortable, the pool and grounds are worth exploring. The wifi was OK, this maybe could be improved in the future, but the staff are very helpful.

Super easy to get to which is good as they are a good half hour walk outside of Hoi An. They picked my wife and I up from our hotel in Danang. Arranged taxis to the Marble Mountain, Hoi An and the train station back in Danang. They also booked our train tickets to Hue for us too. The staff is very friendly and their english is good. The place is clean. I would think it would be awesome for families as the area is quiet. Bicyles are available to ride all around the surronding area. Breakfast is huge. The only drawback is that you find lunch and dinner off site which could be a bit of a walk (or you could take a taxi to town). Would definitely stay therw again.

Loved it so much we extended out stay

Perfect place to stay just outside of the busy Hoi An area. Mrs Tram and staff had excellent service, very friendly and great recommendations. Everything you need and more!

Quiet budget hotel

The service from the staff at Rock Villa was 10/10, they were so helpful and lovely. They arranged for our laundry to get done as well as arranged our airport transfer. It's a 15 min bike ride into the old town or the beach from the Villa, but there is not a lot of shops or restaurants within walking distance, as it's quite isolated. The beds are quite firm (like many Vietnamese beds) and you have to remember to switch the immersion heater on 15 mins before you want a shower.

Friendly & helpful staff. Lovely garden area by outdoor dining area. Excellent food....try the fish with butter. Lots of suggestions on what to do in the area. Called taxi when needed...discussed price etc. overall a great place to stay!! Would easily book there again!! Loved our stay! Walk to town about 2 miles. Great coffee!

Great staff who went out of their way to please.

Lovely people; genuine, kind and generous. You almost don't need to eat anything for the rest of the day because they feed you so much at breakfast!! 😬Rent 🏍for $6 or free bikes to get into town or to the beach. It's quiet, almost like you're in the country. The hotel staff was the best part, really. Thank you for everything! It was my favorite stay so far in Vietnam. -Anthony, and sorry about Trump 👎🏻

Loved Our Time At Rock Villa

We had a large beautiful room with big windows and a huge balcony. I loved the hotel architecture too as it kept a natural feel that blended perfectly with the nature around it. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The only recommendation would be to put at least a curtain that separates the shower from the toilet.

Wonderful and authentic place

I highly recommend this place. The manager Tram was super nice and extremely helpful; she was very efficient and gave us many good suggestions. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was always excellent; we even had lunch when we arrived because we were too tired and the food was delicious. Bikes were available and Tram arranged transportation for us to go to Hue. The hotel is close to Hoi an City center, the beach and many restaurants ( we biked everywhere). We were planning to stay 2 nights but we decided to stay one more night! All the staff was great, I would come back with no hesitation. Thank you Tram!

Hospitality plus

A quiet spot by the river with easy access to the beach and the ancient town. Free bicycles and scooters for rent. This is a small and very comfortable hotel with your choice for breakfast and lunch and dinner available on request. Great TV and wifi, a lovely garden and pool. Outstanding hospitality from your lovely hosts. Highly recommended for a restful stay in fabulous Hoi An.

Warm and hospitable staff made it a pleasant stay

Ms Tram and her team made it a very pleasant stay - staff were on site any hour of the day and always ready to help guests out. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads. Major attractions such as the Hoi An Old Quarters and An Bang beach were accessible via bicycles (10-15 mins ride) which can be rented for free from the hotel. Half day cooking classes and day trip to Cham Island can also be organised with pickup/dropoff directly at the hotel. Spent a couple of lovely afternoons reading on the comfortable deck chairs at the garden or poolside. In-room massage service is also available, reducing the need to travel out. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to return again someday!

Must stay here!

The actual hotel is beautifully presented in an amazing setting, the service was exceptional from the whole team, they helped with tours, directions, things to do and English was really well spoken. Location is pretty much bang in between the main town and the beach but the free bicycles mean this is no problem at all or a $2 taxi ride can be arranged. i actually walked to town a couple pf times in about 25 mins. Can't reccomend this place enough it was fabulous, will definitely return.

Great place

Lovely B&B.Comfortable clean place,outside of town.Though you have use of free bicycles for 15 minute ride to either beaches or old town center.Few restaurants close by.Very caring staff,helpful and friendly.Worth staying

Nice quiet hotel, perfect for family with younguns

Hotel is nestle in the quieter part of town, midway between the town and beach, and will require either a bicycle or motorbike ride to either of these two locations. Tour buses can't stop by in front of the hotel since the lanes are too narrow. You'll have to paid for motorbike taxi, or hire a bike (chargeable) or borrow a bike (free). Aside from transportation, the hotel is very well looked after, the staff are friendly.

Idyllic hotel within short distance of Hoi An

We had a wonderful time staying at Mrs Tran's Rock Villa! All of the staff were v helpful, organising taxis to and from Hoi An (it's about a 10 min ride from the hotel), providing us with free cycle hire (a great way to travel around Hoi An, which can be covered in a 10k round journey) and cooking delicious breakfasts! The room was large, with a walk-in shower and double bed, whilst there is also a small pool which provides some welcome relief from the Hoi An heat. Thoroughly recommended to anyone looking to stay in Hoi An.

wonderful stay

We stayed for three nights with two adults and our three children (10, 12, and 15) and loved the hotel itself, the staff and the overall experience. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We also enjoyed the 10 min bike rides into town, but most importantly found this "garden oasis" peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend Rock Villa Hotel!

Amazing relaxing place

Never felt like a hotel. Staff so friendly, such a relaxing place in stunning setting. Rooms are really attractive as are all the hotel grounds. Breakfast massive with good choice, free bike hire, lovely pool... could go on & on. Simply brilliant!

Lovely staff, great stay.

Passing a few days in Hoi An, I was impressed with Tram and her team at Rock Villa. It is a bit out of the main part of town, in between the town center and the beach, this was a great location for people who want to relax. The villa provides free bicycles and motorbikes for rent at $6 per day. They also provided us airport transport to Danang (under $20USD). The villa has a deal with one of the restaurants on the beach, where you can get an umbrella and cushioned chair for free, as well as eat at the restaurant. This particular part of the beach was affected by the storm, so you don't really sit on the beach, but on the raised up platform that overlooks the ocean. It makes for a lovely afternoon though. The rooms, I believe there are only seven, are really clean and lovely. The only complaint would be about the shower heat, which didn't seem to last long, but the spectacular service, the delicious breakfast, and the staff's willingness to go above and beyond for us overrode any complaints we could have. If you need anything here, just ask, and they will help! Thanks again to Tram for making our stay amazing.

Nothing but a brilliant stay at the Rock Villa!

Highly recommended place to stay when in hoi an! Very hospitable bunch. Ms Tram is an absolute Joy! The Rock Villa is set in a gorgeous place - once side looks out onto a river and the other onto a rice field. You feel like your living with the locals (which you are). The rooms are beautifully decorated and very homey. Will definitely be back.

Relaxing and pleasant

We stayed in Rock Villa for 3 days. The staff was very nice and pleasant. This a small place off the beaten path and has a very relaxing atmosphere. It is just a few minutes from the beach and a few minutes away from the ancient city.

Perfect oasis in a lovely location

Rock Villa has apparently only been open for a year, but are highly rated for a good reason - it's great! The pool was lovely, if a little chilly, the rooms spacious and clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable - nowhere near as hard as other places! My only request would be to add more shelves or drawers, so we could unpack properly... Wifi was free to use and perfectly acceptable. The TV was easy to use and had some great film channels - especially when hubby woke at stupid o'clock! The food was lovely - we were greeted with a buffet lunch on arrival, which was unexpected - and free. The food at breakfast was great, although I'd prefer buffet-style rather than the a la carte we had on 2 mornings. (This is for 2 reasons - it depends on my mood whether I would prefer Vietnamese food or Western style when on holiday, but also on my tummy, I had a touch of bad belly in Hanoi 3 days before arriving). The location was lovely, really quiet at night and great views of paddy fields, the river or over the pool or fishpond, but wished we'd chosen somewhere closer to town. We borrowed a couple of their free to use bikes for the first afternoon into town, which was a bit hairy! Although the taxi is only about £3 each way, it was still a bit of a pain. Our first night we walked to a local restaurant (about 10 mins) and that was fine, but we ate in town the next 2 nights. I would definitely return here if ever we came back to Hoi An - and highly recommend it.

Great Service - Quaint, Clean and Quiet

We had an excellent experience here and it had to do plenty with the service. The staff were always polite, friendly and helpful in many ways that exceeded our expectations. It is located slightly out of town, about 15 minutes of cycling and the beach is about 1km from the hotel. The ambiance is relaxing and the rooms are clean and new with sufficiently modern amenities. Great spots to read in the sun or relax by the pool and air conditioned rooms to keep cool during the hot weather.

Excellent hotel. Excellent hospitality, Miss Tram is an excellent host. Close enough to the city and beach, only a bicycle ride away. Would without a doubt stay here over and over again!

Beautiful Hotel

It's a beautiful property in a quiet area. It is located in between the beach and the town. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff is great and very accommodating.

little slice of heaven

Photos barely do this place justice - Rock Villa is incredibly beautiful and a highlight of our week-long trip to Vietnam. My friends and I treated ourselves to the "family room" that included two large bedrooms that get TONS of natural light, separated by a spacious bathroom, and all opening to a giant balcony overlooking the garden, pool, and river in the background. The grounds were filled with plants, orchids, a pond with Koi, and quaint furniture and rock-themed design. I think it's really saying something that we [always itching to be on the move] could enjoy a full lazy morning hanging around the hotel grounds on one of the rainy days. Tram was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the very beginning, and saved us from a 4-hr flight delay that would have otherwise ruined our last night in the country. Free rentals are a plus for such a bike-friendly town, and wi-fi always strong and reliable. For the price, the quality of the facilities exceeded our expectations. The one [minor] issue we struggled with was during off-hours, the staff that remained on the premises understood very minimal English, to the point where basic sign language didn't suffice and I'd have to use a phone translating app to communicate my question/concern. Not a huge deal, and would not have affected my decision to stay there - I miss the place already and can't wait to return.

Rock Villa Rocks!

Loved all aspects of staying at Rock Villa. Stunning architecture and unique aura.Lovely slightly untammed garden, swimming pool, fish ponds with Lillies and the river view right behind. Rooms: ultra modern, practical,pristine and pleasant.Ms Tram the hotel manager went out of her way to accommodate us.We loved the close proximity cycling a few minutes to the beach. Out of all of our accommodations thought out our global travels( and we' ve been to some amazing places) we esteem Rock Villa as our top hotel/Homestay. It is a hidden gem. Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer than two nights.I highly recommended staying here..bang for the buck too!

Mignon petit hôtel sans restauration. Au calme à 4 km de Hoi Han pour ceux qui désirent sans être loin de la vieille ville profiter d’un endroit proche et calme. Piscine bien entretenue et personnel au petit soin. On vous prêtera des vélos gratuitement ! Restaurant de très bonne qualité à 500 m.

Le paradis sur terre merveilleux très bien entretenu personnel au petit soin qui vous aide à réserver vos activités, taxi... On est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport dans un beau 4x4 pour un bon prix, j'ai déchiré ma robe on me l a recousue... On a eu une suite en RDC vue rivière et piscine, quelle belle surprise ! Petit déjeuner très bon, prêt de vélo pratique car nous ne sommes pas si loin de la vieille ville, très bon rapport qualité-prix, chambre propre et spacieuse, on nous prête même les serviettes de bain pour la piscine, on aurait voulu rester plus dans cet havre de paix ❤️ merci beaucoup rock villa j'ai mis des fleurs de tiaré tous les jours dans mes cheveux fraîchement tombées dans le jardin !

gezellig familiair hotel wat buiten gelegen tussen het strand en de stad - vriendelijke bediening - ruimhartig ontbijt - fietsen gratis (wel wat gedateerd) en U$6 voor een brommer geen avondeten - wel airco op de kamers - warmwater via elektrische boiler die 15 minuten vooraf moet worden aangezet- fijn verblijf

Le petit déjeuné et très copieux vous êtes servie a table situarion très proche de plage qui et top et a 10 15 minutes du centre de Hoi an en vélo vélo et scooter sont a disposition a la villa, personnelle très a l'écoute, très familiale et chalereux , je vous recommande cette hôtel.

Beautiful hotel

The Hotel is located in a one km distance to the beach. Bike are available and so the beach is easy to reach. The staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast is good. The garden around the pool and the hotel is special and like a little paradise. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend it.

Nettes Hotel ohne Restaurant

Das Hotel an sich ist schön gemacht. Was uns aber sehr gestört hat, ist dass weder eine Bar noch ein Restaurant vorhanden sind. Zwar konnte man essen bestellen, aber einen halben Tag im Voraus. Das bedeutet, spontane Snacks gibt es nicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Pool war ziemlich warm und keine wirkliche Erfrischung 😅 Außerdem wird neben dem Hotel gebaut, sodass es unmöglich ist am Pool zu entspannen. Man liegt quasi neben einer Kreissäge...

Great stay at Rock Villa

Ms Tran made our stay a delight. She upgrated our room, gave us information on where to go and where to eat and was just at great host. The hotel is off the main path and gives you an opportunity to relax and feel at home. Located half way between the beach and the town of Hoi An, it's a great starting point for exploring the region. We fully recommend the hotel for people looking at a longer stay in Hoi An.

Une belle découverte!

Ambiance chaleureuse, confortable et calme. Après un séjour à Hanoï cet endroit était tout indiqué. Un peu éloigné du village notamment pour les repas, ce qui nous oblige à explorer les environs sinon de marcher (1heure), emprunter le vélo (1/2 heure) ou le taxi (10-15 minutes). Personnel attentionné, gentil et serviable.

그저 그런 숙소의 느낌

가격이 저렴하다 할 수 있으나 그렇다고 다른 숙소에 비해 많이 저렴한 편은 아닙니다. 호텔의 느낌이라기 보다는 민박의 느낌이 강하구요. 무엇 보다 건물이 조금 오래된 관계로 안락한 휴식은 조금 힘듭니다. 저희가 있을때는 방에 천정을 통해서 도마뱀이 들어오기 까지 했습니다.

작고 알찬 리조트

조용하고 한적해서 좋았어요 ~ 꾸어다이비치와도 가까워서 해변에도 매일 갔네요. 구시가지와 거리는 약간 있지만 한국돈 3천원 정도면 편도 가능하고 부담스러운 거리는 아니였어요. 전체적으로 친절하셔서 만족합니다. 다음에 또 가고 싶어요 ~

En oase i Hoi An

Fantastisk oase i cykel afstand til alt, gratis cykler på hotellet. Meget personlig betjening, man føler sig hjemme. Dejlige store rene værelser. Maden på hotellet er fantastisk lækker og frisklavet. Der er en skøn swimmingpool, som vi tilbragte en del tid ved, udover det er haven virkelig skøn.

Godt ud over det sædvanlige.

Super dejligt lille hotel. Super personale der sørgede for at vi aldrig manglede noget. Hoi An er en fantastisk hyggelig by at gå rundt i - meget at se gode steder at spise... kun 5 min i taxa fra den gamle bydel i Hoi An ellers kunne man cykle eller leje scooter. Vi rejste med 3 børn og det var et hyggeligt og hjemligt sted og ungerne løb med det samme rundt alene og blev passet godt på af personalet. Meget familiært sted og alle stod og sagde farvel da vi rejste selvom klokken kun var 7 om morgenen. Bestemt er sted vi vil besøge igen.

Kostenlose Fahrräder, ein toller Pool, saubere und sehr große Zimmer, ein super Frühstück sowie ein allgemein unglaublich aufmerksamer und persönlicher Service haben unsere 4 Tage zu einem fantastischen Aufenthalt gemacht. Dieses Hotel ist unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!!

가격대비 최고의 숙소라 생각합니다. 위치가 구시가지에서 떨어져있지만 저는 오히려 번잡하지 않고 논밭과 강에 둘러싸인 시골 주택가의 모습을 볼 수 있어 더욱 편안했습니다. 음식 맛있고 수영장 작지만 이쁘고 정원도 참 잘 되어 있어요. 아기의자도 있고 아이들 모래놀이, 비치타올 다 빌려주고 무료 자전거엔 아이 의자도 있어 근처 바다 등 다니기도 좋아요. 비싼 리조트에 뻔한 숙박이 질리셨다면 특히 강추드립니다.

Superb place to stay!!!

This is a real superb place to stay. About 3,5 km from the ancient city but with the free bicycles they provide it is a nice ride. Scooter rental, laundry, good breakfast, excellent bed and pool. Nothing else to wish for. The pics are realistic and Rock Villa is the place to stay. Book it and you understand why. Ms Tram and her staff takes care of everthing and more! A pearl in Hoi An!!

Un espace de sérénité.

Un homestay parfaitement géré et entretenu par Ms Tran, qui soucieuse du bien etre et du confort de ses clients est toujours disponible et à l'écoute de chacun. L'hôtel est idéalement situé entre les plages (1 km en vélo, vélos qui sont gracieusement mis à disposition) et Hoi An (l'idéal étant de prendre un taxi), en retrait de la route ce qui permet d'éviter le bruit des klaxons matinaux. L'hôtel est très bien équipé avec une piscine accessible aussi aux très jeunes enfants, les chambres sont très bien aménagées avec beaucoup de goût. Des circuits et autres activités sont proposées avec des options accessibles à tous les budgets.

Super moderne Anlage in toller Lage

Die Lage der Anlage ist ausgezeichnet und man kommt mit den zur Verfügung gestellten Rädern bequem überall hin - ca. 1 km zum schönen Cua Dai Beach und knapp 3 km in die Altstadt. Zum erholen und entspannen ist das Hotel perfekt - ein kleiner Pool und schöne modern eingerichtete Zimmer mit tollen Bädern. Ich wäre gern länger geblieben um die Ruhe und den exzellenten Service noch zu genießen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und absolut ausreichend - man kann aus 3 verschiedenen Menüs wählen. Auch die Nähe zum Fluß ist toll.
