I loved everything about this Hotel. I give a 5 star for every category. Nuri and his partner at the concierge desk are amazing. They go beyond their normal duties to make sure you are having a safe and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful facility, great location for tourism in Taxsim area, great ground floor cafe and rooftop restaurant amenities. For me the hours of free Steam & Sauna 09:00-22:00 were the same hours I was out of the hotel as a tourist exploring so I cannot rate them. Extending steam and sauna hours to before breakfast (07:00-23:59) and after dinner would have been beneficial for my schedule and a great way to start and end the day.

It was Soo noisy at night we couldn’t sleep well; air conditioning was central can’t get access the room was hot and supposed to be smoking free but it wasn’t u can smell it in our room and they charged us for using the coffee in the end of our stay almost $55 which is a lot

Great experience

We booked the hotel as my friend has stayed at other Rixos hotel/resorts, however this hotel was a bit underwhelming in comparison. It was wasn't terrible but not great either - average at best. Location is very convenient and walkable to the main shopping and dining areas and the Galata area. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel, this is probably not the hotel to stay in as the immediate area outside the hotel gets really busy with taxi traffic which can be heard in your room (which was especially annoying with the windows open). The rooms are ok, kind of basic for a 5 star hotel as are the toiletries (I'd recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner) we had twin room and thought the beds were narrow but comfortable. There was no main light, so lighting was always a bit dim in the room. The bathrooms could really do with some ventilation as well. The mini chocolates at the end of each night were a nice touch however. We didn't eat/drink at the hotel bar/restaurant - prices are very expensive and being next to Iskitlal street, you're not short of options as a plus. All on all, an Ok stay but am surprised this is considered a 5 star hotel.

Even tho I was not offered any VIP service or upgrade option for my stay. The hotel was beautiful, clean, great amenities & most of all entire staff was very friendly & accommodating. I would definitely stay here again, location is close to Galata tower & Main Street with lots of eating options.

Good location nice hotel

Dishonest, uncaring and cold

I spent the first night only because of the cancellation policy. That was on 9/6/24, The hotel has yet to return the money paid for the other 10 nights. It has blamed Hotels.com, Expedia, the banks, their finance department and I guess it will be God next as to why the funds have not been refunded. This is disgraceful, disappointing and dishonest. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Would never stay at any of their related properties either. I also witnessed the callousness of the staff towards a guest that fell and broke her hip on the property. She faced a grueling trip home to South Africa but was trying to address why they had her taken to a public hospital which misdiagnosed her fractured hip as a strain, She was ignored and dismissed. I thought it so cruel I could not sleep. This on top of the fact that my room overlooked a noisy street, the sofa had what appeared to be cigarette holes in it. In addition, to get to my room, I had to cross a courtyard while it rained and there was no protective covering. I could go on but you get the picture….

We stayed at the Rixos in taksim square. Amazing service from all staff members. Great breakfast with really good options. The room service food was delicious. They are always so helpful and always going above and beyond. Fabulous location, everything was walking distance (taksim square & Galata towers). Taxi to get to other areas was easy too. Just make sure you don’t get conned by the taxi guys. Will return and always choose to stay here.

It’s look like are 3* hotel with Rixos logo. Very, very noisy. Scanty restaurant menu and the identical in garden, lobby and rooftop restaurant. Room need to refresh

Convenient for shopping, right next to independent street. Small hotel, but neat and tidy. Somehow the breakfast is extremely expensive in the hotel, costs euro44 a person, not worth it while there is so much choices nearby.

The front desk staff were excellent. I have stayed here and rebooked as I had a lovely pre-pandemic experience. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was very poor this time. They left our beds unmade several times and failed to turn up a couple of times. The curtain in the room fell and I asked persistently for three days to have this fixed, which was not done, resulting in us having to sleep with light glaring from outside. I will sadly not return.

I booked a smoking room when I got there I was told only smoking room was a deluxe suite which I had to pay for it . Also I find the hotel very noisy until late in the night there was entertainment downstairs

Our family, including two small kids, stayed at this hotel for nine days. Here are some pros and cons based on our experience: Cons: 1. Noise Issue: - There was a backyard in front of our family suite where the hotel held special programs, including live music, every night. Unfortunately, the very loud music continued until 1am or later, which was a big problem for us with small kids. Despite calling the front desk a few times, it seemed they didn't have the authority to change the program. 2. Room Card Issues: - The room cards frequently stopped working for no apparent reason, requiring daily trips to the front desk to fix the issue. 3. Parking: - The hotel does not have its own parking. If you rent a car, you'll need to park in a nearby public parking lot. Pros: 1. Staff: - All the staff are amazing, kind, and helpful. 2. Location: - The location is perfect, very close to İstiklal Street. 3. Breakfast: - Breakfast is served on the roof with a stunning view. The staff's service during breakfast is excellent and memorable. 4. Room Service: - The room service is outstanding. After a long day in Istanbul, coming back to a well-serviced room was very enjoyable. 5. Turkish Hamam: - The hotel offers a Turkish Hamam that is definitely worth trying. Overall, despite some inconveniences, we appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed our stay.

I noticed the customer service & reception staff are not as good as it used to be, I was disappointed this time as I’ve been yearly staying in Rixos Pera for the last 5 years

the concierge was spectacular. all were very knowledgeable of the restaurants and contacts, and they were out of their way to please the guest.

We had the most amazing stay in the Rixos , the hotel is so nice and elegant and clean , it was the highlight in our stay in Istanbul, ThE location is amazing not really in the high traffic and noisy street of the Istiklal , but still a short walking distance, was easy to get an Uber or a taxi from the front of the hotel. The staff was amazing and so helpful .they checked us in immediately when we arrived , they didn’t tell us to wait till after 2:00 pm. Had an amazing roof top restaurant and garden cafe and another restaurant downstairs , the food was really good, the bedrooms were all clean and new , the dulex room with sea view was really nice and worth the price. Highly recommend for any stay in Istanbul,

If you want to stay near the shopping area, this is a great hotel to stay in… walking distance to istiklal street and the hotel is very nice, comfortable beds, clean and staff are amazing… make sure to dine in the Turkish restaurant under the hotel, it is so good food there!

Guest relations and concierge services & front office were excellent , was not at all happy with house keeping service. Coffee pods were not replaced , tissue boxes were not replaced , old juice bottles which were not consumed & we’ve glasses were not cleared. Spa is nothing great. Location is excellent.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel due to multiple issues that were poorly handled. The room was unbearably noisy, making it impossible to sleep because of the loud disturbances late at night. When we complained, the front desk attendant, Emre, promised a room switch to an ocean front for the following day, which unfortunately never happened. Further adding to the frustration, Emre assured us that a taxi reservation was made for an early 4:30 AM departure. This too turned out to be untrue, and no taxi was arranged. If it weren't for a last-minute Uber, we would have missed our flight. Having traveled extensively and stayed at numerous hotels, I've never felt so misled. It's particularly disheartening when staff, particularly at the reception, promise solutions only to discover they are empty assurances. I cannot recommend this hotel as the trust in its service and integrity was completely lacking.

Rixos Pera is an ideal place if you are interested in Istiklal Street or want multiple dining options on a walking distance.

Great staff who were attentive as well as helpful in advising us about public transportation and other neighborhood amenities.

it was an amazing stay. hotel is very clean and at prime location. staff is very friendly and offered their best service. we visited first time for our wedding anniversary, we have been offered upgrade on room with complimentary welcome cake and juice. also breakfast rooftop is cherry on the cake. i would definitely recommend this property to everyone

A good stay but..

The hotel is located in excellent location, few meters to middle of istiklal street. For us it was not really good to be in such active area because there is no possibility to have cold temperature of AC during winter. So opening the window was our only bad option. Whether it is towards the main street or pedestrian street, both were so noisy. The hotel is super clean and the staff are good.

Ok stay

The staff was amazing , Melisa and Halil were very helpful all the time. The room with a seaview was noisy even when you close all the windows and affected the comfort. Heating was always super strong. Two incidents affected my happiness with the stay. First one was that staff knock once on the door and enter even when the do not disturb sign is on which we addressed. 2nd one was the hotel charging us for the coffee pods in the room, i move around alot and this was a first at a five stars hotel like the Rixos. Come on guys its 2023 no body charges for that in a room unless you ask for extra !

This is a fantastic property. The location of the hotel was also ideal. It was convenient to access all the attractions and activities that we had planned, and the concierge was incredibly helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation.we also have to commend the hotel staff for their exceptional service throughout our stay. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any request we had. Their attention to detail and genuine care for the guests truly set this hotel apart.we would like to commend the excellent hospitality extended by Melisa,Caren, Ayjana, uguscan, Davut and Nur.

2nd time

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. All the staff- Satva, the public relations person, the bell hop, Ferat, the entire front desk, the room staff, the restaurant staff...everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The one issue was the room temperature which could not be regulated. There was also an issue with the toilet but that was immediately resolved. All in all, the place is a great deal in a great location.

Excessively Noisy and HOT!

I was very disappointed overall. Our room was hot after the first day and we were told that they turned off the A/C. The hotel is located in an extremely noisy area so when we opened the window for fresh air the constant traffic (honking of horns continuously) made it impossible to sleep well. House keeping was a mess. No dusting, trash cans not emptied, no coffee or water replacement some days. We asked 4 times before we got the coffee sent up. But mainly they promised to change our room to another tower that allowed us to control the temperature in the room for the second portion of our stay (we checked out for 3 days but had arranged to return for 2 more days) and when we came back the upgraded us to a suite next door in that had the exact same issues. I preferred a quiet room with A/C not a larger room! Everyone was very apologetic but never with any good results! I will not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is kept well in the heart of Istanbul. Easy and safe to walk and many great restaurants and shops. Nice and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay there as we were a large group and we all had great time. Thank you Rixos Pera Istanbul

Our second time stay in this hotel . Best location, kind and professional staff . Turkish bath was great. Hair salon was great . We will definitely come back. Yine goruşuruz.

Everything you can from Rixos chain: nice rooms, great service, good food options, very attentive staff. The roof top restaurant was great and live music at the Chapel restaurant was a great complement to the overall experience.

An unforgetable stay

The overall feel to the hotel was luxurious. Our initial room was a bit too dark but we were upgraded thanks to the kind staff. Everyone we interacted with were extremelly friendly and welcoming.

Amazing location - staff went above and beyond for us everyday!!! Felt extremely safe and well taken care of!

House keeping comes in at 8 AM. When you ask them to come back after an hour they never show up. Call the front desk twice one day at two hour intervals, never got house keeping. AC thermostat was difficult to use so I requested support from front desk at 8PM, guy shows up at 11PM want to come in to the room to adjust the thermostat. House keeping literally filled the shower gel bottle with water to refill it.

Superb hotel and excellent hospitality

The Rixos Pera hotel made our stay in Istanbul the most memorable. We stayed there for 4 nights and the entire staff were very hospitable, especially the head concierge Nuri Bilge and also the Bell Captain Ugurcan Serin. Mr Nuri helped us with our daily itinerary including booking our Bosphorus Cruise and historic tour of the monuments. They helped us with so many good restaurant recommendations as well. The breakfast on the rooftop was very nice too. Lovely courtyard too for enjoying drinks in the evning! Lastly the hotel is central to the most happening area in Istanbul. My husband and I loved walking around everywhere from the hotel. This is the only hotel we would stay in if we were to visit Istanbul again. - Sejal & Nihar Parekh

Overall disappointing stay . Poor housekeeping , always bad smell at the entrance and our suit always had dust and forgotten areas from cleaning team . I tried to order room service but they didn’t know how to speak English . Staff are not welcoming with some exceptions. shout out to Jan who always served with a smile at breakfast terrace which have a beautiful view on the posfor .Got the family suit which was very tight . Power plugs were not convenient at all . At the end of our stay we complained to the manager who apologized for the bad service and was sincere which reduced our frustration. This is the third time I stay in RIXOS chain. The first two stays were wonderful but this one was a negative experience and definitely we rate it as a 3 star hotel experience.hope they will improve as the place has good potential and I suggest to do late night dining on the roof capitalizing on it beautiful views

Perfect hotel

No air conditioning available

Everything was good except for the room temperature. Room temperature was between 25-27 Celsius and there was no air conditioning available due to winter time. Sleeping was very uncomfortable and opening the windows to get some fresh air was very noisy. We raised our concern several times with the front desk and the issue was never solved.

This property is not a 5* hotel at all. Extremely old. I got rooms with Pera view, and our room's view was a tall building which was under construction. The worst view one can ever get.

Beautiful old house ,the quality of the bed is very bad ,i could not sleep the whole night ,,it is vey old mattress ,despite i am gold member i di not get any upgrade because i booked it via Expedia ,,it means next time i wont book by Expedia ,,i tried to book on my app but did not go through ,,

The location to places I was going to go was perfect.

The property in general was very good. The staff were very friendly. My issue was with reservation staff. The credit card I used for reservation had to be replaced and was no longer valid and their reservation staff made it a nightmare for me when I called to notify them. They made every effort to make it impossible for me to ensure I have a room. The link they provided for me to pay never worked and they blamed it on my card. They only agreed to hold the room when we asked to talk to hotel president. I would never stay there again.

This hotel is in a very busy location. The traffic noise throughout the night was disturbing. Breakfast was not included and expensive. The premium room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff are the only good thing about this property. Noisy, smells like smoke everywhere, you can't sleep, you can't get the air-condition to work when is C40 , you go to have a breakfast and what you can have is second hand smoke, you try to pay by card and the answer is no, you have to go find cash or go 8 floors down to pay at the front desk, what a joke.
