Great family style vacation

Great basic hotels with lovely pool and each room has a kitchen .

Good hotel good rooms and facilities I come with electronic car. There is charging point but all the parkibg for electric cars are occupied by regular cars . Although i asked from the team to charge they did nothing

The hotel was excellent, I would recommend it to anyone. However, the supervising desk clerk indicted there was a majuro issue with my Expedia booking..whereby I was paying a $100 more a night than I should have..as my wife and I got a room for 5 when we only booked a single room for the 2 of us. This was a major major issue. I am very upset.

Nice hotel, clean everywhere except for the pool area where people eat, smoke and leave trash which is not cleaned. I had to tell the person who gives the towels about the rubbish.

Close to everything. Nice Pool- but very cold. Clearly not heated. Unless there in summer- might be too cold to enjoy

Excellent appartment hotel with swimming pool

The hotel is very conveniently located, only 5 minutes walk from the Eilat North Beach. It has nice swimming pool with beds and chairs besides. The room is very comfortable with a nice view to the pool and the Eilat mountains. Kitchenette with a microwave and a small fridge. Very easy access, with ramps and elevator. The receptionists were helpful.

Great value for money

We got a mini suite which was very comfortable. A saperated badroom and a livingroom with a sofavthat can convert into a diuble bed. There is a small kitchen and a dining table. The location is great and there is free parking.

Best choice for appartment in Eilat

Apparthotel located 5 minutes walk from the Northern Beach. Well equipped kitchinette. Parking free in the hotel courtyard. The receptionist was courteous and helpful for late checkout. Very nice swimming pool.

Highly not recomended for travelers whith basic hygene standarts. the room are very dirty and unmantained, the romm was full of dust and unidnttified filth, but most important there was plenty rust in diefferent areas of the room due to humidity that is unattended, doors were broken with dammaged posts which endanger the kids. We really doubt that this hotel should accept guests in those conditions. It was a very unpleseant experience and highly recomend to stay away and choose a better hotel for your stay. As for the service, the crew members seems to be very tired and impatient for the guests. the pool is nice, however we couldnt find any place to sit around the pool since there were not enough chairs or sunning beds. the hotel offers free parking service, but most of the time there was'nt any free space.

Lack of soundproofing, too much noise

This was our 3rd stay in Isrotel Riviera Club and probably the last one. As always, the major issue is the total absense of soundproofing. During previous stays we managed to sleep at least few hours per night when we had room on the other side, so noisy kids cruising through the hall at 2AM was kind of disturbing, but normal (I guess). However, this time we haven't slept at all for two nights, because of the neighbours in the room right below us with he garden/pool view. Every night there were gathering like 10 of them and went drunk until morning. We heard every little sound, every burst of laughter, like they were right in our room. Our kids haven't slept, it was a nightmare. First time in my life I was really about cancelling our holiday and returning home. Second issue was an electric hob, the heating element was so slow, it took like 20 mins to prepare a fried egg. Other than that, it is a great hotel for families, but I won't come back until there will be possible to sleep at nights.

Good alternative for appartment, close to tbe Nort

The appartment was good. The fridge is too small. When we departed, the elevator was out of order. Insufficient parking, when the hotel is full. We had to park on an open terrain, located 10 minutes away, by foot. This is not luxurious, but decent.

The hotel has improved much

This was our second time in Isrotel Riviera Club and the hotel has improved much since our visit 4 years ago. The room were much cleaner and in better condition. The hotel located in the north and luxury area of Eilat. The staff are top notch, treated every little request immediately. Even saved us upon check-out when we suddenly realized that our car won't start due to dead battery. We didn't use the pool, so cannot comment on that. The rooms are very well equipped for self-catering, good for families. Still remains our first choice when we visit Eilat.

Really enjoyed it; all working well; as an exception I do comment that I would prefer “smarter” TV as I like to see photos from IL when back from daily trip but not a big deal for a very good price I can have a look at home. Thank you and good luck and Shalom!

Great value for money

Great location and price

Location is close to the water and border crossing to Jordan. Safe to walk around. Room clean, bed comfortable for the price. I tried to stay on the way back but fully booked.

What's with the water temperature?

On my first day the shower had only cold water. I went to the front desk to complain and was assured they would look into it. The next morning: cold water as well. I went to complain at the front desk and was told they would look into it immediately. Before I left the room, I took a shower after a day at the beach: cold water again. I went to the front desk ti let them know again. This time they called the manager (I think his name was Alex). He came, asked a few questions and then asked me to stay and wait. I asked the front desk for him to call me as I needed to leave. I never got a call. I guess whatever he had to tell me had to be face to face or, most likely, he decided to drop me (not sure what difference it would have made as I had already checked out...) An apology would have been nice. The pool is beautiful and nicely kept. I is also FREEZING. I guess if I was training to cross the English Channel or swim on the Hudson this pool would have been good training. However, I was there to enjoy myself, relax and enjoy the pool. Silly me. I also noticed that the pool was not open after sunset, which is strange as this is the time when guests come back from a day out to enjoy the pool (although, given the fact the pool was so cold, it would have made no difference). The fact that I never saw anybody swimming became clear once I tried to get in. I guess I should bring my ice skates next time....

We got in late but the check in was easy and the clerk checking us in was great

It was our second stay at the hotel. The first one was about a month ago. First of all we liked the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and convenient. Basically there is everything necessary to prepare food. The hotel is located very close to the Northern beach (about 200 meters). Furthermore, there are many shops in the vicinity.

Not a positive experience.

Very disappointed with several factors. 1. Our room had not been cleaned properly when we arrived, overall cleanliness was poor and we found a cigarette butt on the floor, and food behind the appliances in the kitchen. These issues could not be rectified the same evening as there was no staff available or another room we could be moved to. This was only rectified the next morning after complaining yet again to the cleaning manager and offered a 15% discount on the first night - poor response. 2. When booking we also expected a balcony, we were told at reception that this was an additional charge for which we were told the incremental fee will be 200 shekels and when questioned reduced this to 100 shekels, a money grab. 3. Even though free parking is offered, non was available and we had to pay to leave the car overnight on the street, no one mentioned when we initially advised we could not find a spot to park that parking was available at the other isrotel property across the street, we only were advised of this the next afternoon. We only found out by chance that you had to pay to park on the street, yet were told its free. In essence communication is poor.

Clean and comfortable room

It was grate, we really enjoy our staying and the pool was very nice.

The rooms were nice and clean. The stuff was helpfull. The hotel is in a great location, wslk distance to beach, malls.

- Great pool, which was clean and large, with plenty of deckchairs - Great location of the hotel, a few minutes walk to both the tayelet and the Ice Mall - Nice large, air conditioned reception area in the hotel with a reasonably priced and very useful supermarket. - Room was cleaned daily and helpful housekeeping and reception staff - Kitchenette had everything we needed. - However, the parking lot attendant was very unhelpful, and just plain rude when we arrived back one night and there there were no more spaces in the car park. - Downside to our stsyvwas that our room felt tired and in need of a refurbishment. I understand some rooms have been recently refurbished - our room was definitely not one of these. Also, no balcony or facilities to wash clothes. - Overall, it was a good stay and I would go there again.

A well-located affordable place!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is excellent - just a few minutes from the beach, watersports and various bars. Room was clean, towels replaced daily and kitchen utensils were in good condition. Garden area is nice too, and guests receive complimentary towels at the pool. All in all, it's great for the price!

good location with parking, room are quit small for family of 4. the general pool is very cooled, but the children pools is nice. A week Wifi The WOW show is great.

Cheap place, good location, ignorant staff

We have left this place with mixed feelings. On the positive side, this is a reasonably priced hotel in a very nice area close to the promenade, the city center and the beach with a good traffic connection (bus stops 250 m from the entrance). On the negative side the staff (except for the reception desk) might be ignorant and not always friendly. For instance we have asked for towels and there were none, and the guy at the towel desk told us to wait for 5 minutes. We did not want to wait and went to the shop instead and I came back approximately 7 minutes later. By then there were no towels again and the guy was quite angry and said that he told us 5 minutes, and now all towels are gone - so he gave me 2 used towels. As we later found out, one of them had some red patch on it, probably from blood, so we did not use that. Also we had citric acid in the salt shaker instead of salt. When we reported that, the staff was fast and helpful in giving us salt instead, but it was quite uncomfortable to eat a meal with citric acid before we realized what was wrong.

The sofa is very dirty, and the whole room needs some renovation.

One day vacation

Nice place. Simple . Clean . Kitchen need a little renovation. Close to main attractions .

Property was fine for one night. Nice pool and room was ok even though it was dated. Worst part about the property was the staff. When I was getting keys to my room after I already checked in earlier, the receptionist spent 20 min talking to people ahead of us but when it was my turn he took a phone call and barely paid attention to me. I had a lot of questions about where the best snorkeling was and how to get there and he didn’t give me the time of day. Turns out the bus gets to the best snorkeling areas and because he was unhelpful at the desk, we missed the bus and waited an hour for the next one. And also if he was helpful he would have told me the water was rough because they closed all of the beaches. We wound up seeing the aquarium which was nice. Also some helpful information about when the pool is open would have been nice at check in. When we got back we asked the receptionist when the pool closes and she said 7:30 and then she said oops I mean 5:30. The staff is just clueless and doesn’t care about good service.

Nice hotel! with a great location

Good, but not the best

Stay was pleasant, but hotel requires some cosmetical repairs (small, but still). entrance doors to the apartments are not noise proofed, so we were forced to listen to everything that happen in the hall (but noise was not a big problem in second room). Poll was very cold. Our daughter enjoyed kids club and girls on reception were always very helpful! To sum up hotel is good for those who does not plan to swim in the pool and likes to cook on it's own. (we stayed in the hotel in November)

Excellent position close to the beach

The hotel was in a fantastic position, value for money, amenities very close , the swimming pool and surroundings exceptionally clean and gardens absolutely gorgeous. We will surely return our next trip to Eilat .

Only the location was great. The room was dirty and people was very rude. They lie about have a private beach. And when we ask about the beach . They said no private beach em Eilat. So they lied.

Close to beach and ice mall

This is an apartment styled hotel, you have a kitchen area and living area. Comfortably fit our family of 4. Has a microwave, fridge, sink etc.... There is even a washing machine and dryer located in a room near the pool to do laundry (there is a small fee, very reasonable). The outdoor pool was nice and a decent size, shallow side and deeper side. We joined in some friendly volleyball games. Walking distance to the ice mall (ice skating inside the mall), other shopping locations and most importantly easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Location is fantastic and the price is very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Clean and comfortable. Great for families.

We got everything we thought it would be. The room was somewhat dark, but we were out most of the time, so didn't care.

Run Away!!!

The staff at the front desk in particular Ruth were delightful and most helpful but this is where the positive experience begins and ends. The hotel website is misleading, there is no shuttle bus service nor can you upgrade the WiFi, both do not exist. My room had a broken balcony door, a toilet that continuously flushed by itself leaving the seat continuously wet, sheets on the bed which were inside out and a toilet brush full of disgusting hair. It is fairly obvious that management do not care and willingly take your money. The Duty Manager Timor was requested to deal with these issues and to offer some form of compensation, but he was too busy to deal with any of this! He did call once but did not reach me and never followed up again. The service staff are clueless, any request was met with a blank stare. They spoke to one another on the tops of their voices in the passageway and had no concerns about disturbing guests. I had to change the sheets on my own bed and look for clean towels on a regular basis. On Saturday night I had to call reception to advise them of screaming guests at the pool at 5am who had woken me up. Would I stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone else - NOT IN YOUR LIFE

The best of it was the swimming pool, but even the pool closed at 6:00 pm so don't even chance to enjoy it much. The room cleanliness was the worst. We fond garbage from the previous room users. which wasn't very pleasant.

The hotel is located very close to the malls and the beach, the facilities are simple and basic, but it's clean and very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Good cheap hotel near the northern beach (Tayelet)

We were looking for the cheapest reasonable hotel in Eilat that is near the "Tayelet" (the northern beach). This is exactly how it was. The location was great - a quiet street, but within 5 minutes walk from the northern beach, so no noise at night. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there is a small kitchen in the rooms and a grocery store within the hotel. The room was clean. The A/C in our room was very weak (but we didn't ask it to be fixed as we had a cold). For some reason, the cleaners kept taking our bath mat, which they replaced after we asked. Overall, we were satisfied considering the price. I'd recommend it for anyone who is not looking for a fancy hotel.

Excellent choice for guests that like to buy/make their food (the hotel has no restaurants, but does have a nice little grocery store). Would be nice to have a second TV set in the parents' room.

The room was not what was advertised or what we paid for, we were charged extra for the room we originally ordered. When we arrived to the room it was filthy, everything from the tub to the floor to the kitchenette was dirty. The manager was rude and unhelpful.

Great family value

The Isrotel Riviera Club is a family oriented hotel that accommodates children sharing their parents' room, unusual for Israel and something that was very important to us. The hotel is not as modern as it might be but it is pristine and the service was more than acceptable. We feel that it was an extremely good value for overpriced Eilat. A number of Isrotel properties including some of the most up-scale use a general cleanser which we found unpleasant. Get rid of the smell and the Riviera Club would go from GOOD to VERY GOOD in a flash. We will definitely come back.

More like an extended stay

The hotel was at a discount from the rest of the Eilat hotels. Probably because there was no service, bellhops, room service, valet, etc. our room had a fridge, stove top, and cook ware. It was designed for families who want to come and keep the price of their weekend low. It was a bit dated but it served our purpose. It was close to the beach and was fine for our short stay in Eilat after returning from a Petra tour. It has a mini grocery store in it which was a plus. We bought milk and cereal for breakfast. Sadly, the pool closed at 6pm so we didn't get to enjoy it.

Anywhere but here

Room smelled like an ashtray. The staff was inattentive. It's like once you paid for the room, they were trying to force you to check out. They stated they had a service guarantee, but the staff certainly wasn't informed about it. This is not the Isrotel I know.

NICE hotel in great location with amazing staff

This is a very simple hotel, nothing fancy, simple but nice rooms.The staff was very good and very helpful. The location is great, 5 min walk to the beach and boardwalk, 5 min walk to the Ice Mall. Pool is nice, big enough with enough beds even when the hotel was full. The hotel has no meals and no restaurant. We used that to save money .... we brought with us some breakfast essentials, bought milk at the hotel convenient shop and it was great. Recommend this hotel with families that don't want to spend crazy $$ on Eilat hotels.

Great little suite in a great location

We were pleasantly surprised. The room is in fact a tiny suite, with a living room (incl. a kitchenette) and a separate bedroom. All quite comfy and clean. We had the lagoon side view (quieter), the other side is a pool view so you can't really go wrong. The bedding could be better (not the best mattress I've slept on). The breakfast happens in a neighboring hotel - not a con but something to keep in mind. All in all - we enjoyed it and we'll be back.
