I was very comfortable at the Inn.

Hot tub and room

Great spot walking distance to town. Very clean and quiet. Hot tub was amazing as well as the fully stocked kitchen. Will be back.

This was a quaint little Inn that was clean, the staff member in the morning was very nice. It was quiet and there were little added touches by the owners. We were asked to switch our room for an accommodation request and we had no problem with that, they left a small little surprise for us in thanks. We highly recommend and will return again and again.

Such a beautiful and unique boutique hotel, perfect for someone who wants some rest and relaxation. Such touches of luxury. I can't fault anything about this place and can't wait to return.

I would drive back here from Massachusetts just to stay at the Riverside Inn again! There is nothing not to love about this place. Spacious comfortable room and bathroom, cozy bed, and a fully stocked kitchen for all to use. It was like being back home. Outdoors is a beautifully landscaped fenced in yard with a hot tub and fire table. This place is a gem.

I loved that this was a self-service Inn. Check-in was easy and the shared resources (kitchen, sauna, and fenced-in yard with hot tub) were great. The shared kitchen was stocked with basics and great continental breakfast options. They are very pet-friendly and have a closet with supplies, in case you need any.

Excellent stay

Inn was clean and offered a kitchen for the guests to use. Bedroom was nicely done as was the bathroom.

I'm sure it would have been great because members of my family stayed there and loved it. When I went to check in there was no record of my reservation even though I had an Expedia confirmation number. They were fully booked so I had to find somewhere else to stay which was disappointing. I don't know if this was a Riverside problem or Expedia.

Beautiful property in a great location. The rooms are comfortable with very nice touches. The view of the river is fantastic. The area is very walkable either to the town for restaurants and shopping or on the trails.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The soaking tub was amazing! We also enjoyed using the well stocked, very clean community kitchen to make our breakfast. It was right around the corner from The Dock, a great Irish Pub. We highly recommend The Riverside Inn if you are visiting New Glasgow!!! Excellent in every way!

Great place to stay, very clean and in a convenient area with walking distance to most everything. Definitely would stay here again.

Clean, quiet, bed was comfortable. Nice big bath. Mini fridge with real cream for coffee. There were lot's of options for the continental breakfast. Did not use the hot tub but if we ever come back we’ll bring our bathing suits

Amazing gem!.....Owner was so kind....lots of personal touches.....hand written notes...chocolates! Building is beautiful....room was amazing.....very nicely appointed.Can't wait to come back!

I loved just about everything about this property! The location was very convenient for my needs. I love the room, the bed, the amenities! There is a full kitchen stocked with a continental breakfast I wasn’t expecting either. There was a basket with clean towels left at my door while I was out just in case…I will be back!!

It was so nice to be staying in this cozy house that overlooked the river. I didn’t get a chance to use the Hot tub so I’ll have to be back! The breakfast was also very nice and had lots of variety. The room was also spotless and bed was very comfortable.

Lovely inn on a quiet street right on the river, walkable to several restaurants and a supermarket. Contactless check in and checkout were easy and convenient. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed with a mini-fridge and Keurig coffeemaker. Bathroom was larger than expected, with a nice tiled shower with a rain showerhead and hand held wand. A DIY continental breakfast is included. The kitchen is well stocked with breakfast breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, eggs, coffee and tea. It is well equipped with the usual small appliances, pots, pans, utensils - make your own breakfast on your own schedule, clean up after yourself, just like home. The inn also has a sauna and outdoor hot tub which we didn’t get the chance to use. Also has a level 2 EV charger, which we did use. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to come back.

An excellent property, newly renovated with numerous amenities including a fire pit, full kitchen, hot tub and sauna. The location is centrally located near Sobeys, NS Liquor, several restaurants and a walking trail. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. 10 out of 10! 👍

A recommended stay!

The room was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and looked new. The outdoor hot tub is a fun amenity here! Breakfast is in the upper kitchen - you can grab bagels, muffins, cereal, and make eggs yourself. There's also a closet with boardgames in the hallway which is a nice touch. Overall I'd recommend staying here!

The property was new and beautiful. The hot tub was super clean the kitchen fully stocked, the staff left fresh towels even though we didn't ask. We'll be back!

Clean, convenient to New Glasgow, great kitchen with lots of snacks, polite staff

Unique, as there was no owner at the actual property, however he was available by phone if needed. Lovely old house , completely renovated to a high standard. Shareable kitchen with everything supplied for breakfast, do it yourself style. Ground floor suite and easy back door entrance & parking. Great for us old folk who dont like stairs. There are 4 suites downstairs. Not a lot to do in New Glasgow but close to Pictou & Antigonish. We enjoyed the Appleseed diner for supper.

Property is very clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Room is very comfortable, AC was amazing! Only thing I experienced was in suite 3 - it’s right near the games closet they have for guests, so there was just noise with people opening and closets the sliding doors frequently (however, just means the games were being used and guests were enjoying the additional amenity). Would recommend this place.

The modern and clean style was so refreshing. The nicest stay I’ve ever had away from home.

Beautifully restored older property with modern fittings throughout inside and garden area out. Very convenient for our overnight stay before going on PEI ferry next day which was nearby. Would certainly recommend and stay again if back in NS on holiday. AM Edinburgh, Scotland

This was a newly renovated property. It's on a quiet street and very comfortable. It was clean and had a great shower and wonderful bed. I would stay here again anytime.

Great place to stay . We would highly recommend. Hot tub , sauna were a great addition , place was immaculately clean! Spoke with the cleaner briefly and she was really nice.
