We loved our stay at Riverside Impression. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating and took time welcoming us to the area and mapping out the sights. It is in a safe, quiet area away from the chaos of the night markets and the pool is a lovely way to unwind at the end of the night. We will be back!

Very good

Staff was very nice but unfortunately we were pretty let down by the state of the property. Photos are definitely outdated/misleading -- the outdoor area was pretty nice but the room left a lot to be desired. Definitely needs a deep clean particularly the bathroom and AC units. Lots of mold in the shower (curtain was gross tbh) and in the vents - smelled like mildew and we eventually had to turn off the AC in the main bedroom bc it was giving us breathing issues. Beds/linens were fine, and we were out and about most of the day so it was tolerable but we definitely wouldn't stay here again. It was very cheap so I guess in a sense you get what you pay for? It could've been worse, but also could've been a lot better especially based on the photos.

Quaint and Comfortable!

Comfortable stay outside of Old town Hoi An. My family and I enjoyed the breakfast and the facility. It is a little bit further out from the main areas but they offer free bikes for guests. Great service and friendly staff. It’s a great place for families with kids because it’s small. Rooms are decent sized with everything you need.

This was our second stay at Riverside Impression, and once again the staff were incredible. The rooms at the hotel are nice and clean, and though a bit farther from the center of town than some places, it’s a lot quieter at Riverside and still a very quick walk to the old town. The staff are friendly, kind and incredibly helpful.

Place is ok, a little far from the old town, it would take 15-20 minutes walk. We took the grab/taxi going there because it was too hot to walk. You need to take off your shoes before going in to the lobby which I find a little uncomfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall it was fine but I would prefer staying in a place nearer the old town next time.

Gorgeous view but a damp room due to the rains

The view is heavenly and the staff friendly. The room was very clean but as we went in the rainy season, the room smelled moudly and there was a small leakage in the bathroom that may have exacerbated this. the owner didnt seem too happy when we bought this up and that made us feel a bit unwelcomed.

Beautiful hotel, warm welcome

From check-in to checkout it was a pleasure to stay here. A very warm welcome, lovely spacious room with balcony and a great view over the river. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Beautiful grounds, lovely bonsai trees, pool and fish pond. Great location to walk into town or use the free bikes. Would recommend staying here, we would definitely come back. Tip: Faifoo restaurant in town, amazing 5 course taster menu.

Friendly hotel in a lovely setting

Nice friendly homestay

Very friendly and perfect position for Hoi An . Lovely views over the river from behind. Excellent friendly and helpful staff . The use of the bicycles was a brilliant addition to our holiday.

A very nice quiet hotel near the old town.

i don't know if all the rooms were as nice as ours but we had a clean comfortable room overlooking farmland on the delta. The room was new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. the homestay is on an island just a ten minute walk from the old town. The breakfast on the patio was excellent.

Cute villa close to Old Town

Riverside was a great place to spend a few days in Hoi An. The villa was in a quiet part of town, yet close (only 5-10 minutes walking) to Old Town where lots of the markets and shopping are. Our host provided us with ample information and lots of great recommendations. We're vegetarians, and she didn't hesitate to offer us a few spots giving us options of more "local, family run" places, or a larger restaurant, catered to a more touristy population. We choose the local joint, and were not disappointed! They also provided free bicycles which were great to take out for the day and bike to different regions, visiting the local pottery village nearby, or the beautiful beach! In sum, a terrific place, with terrific service, for a terrific value. Highly recommended.

lovely Homestay in lovely Hoi An

Staff incredibly welcoming and helpful, great breakfasts, beautiful location and views over fields and river. Very clean and comfortable.

Peaceful, tranquil location.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and I wish it had been longer. We had a river view room with fantastic views of the river and countryside. The room was not large but perfectly adequate, large bathroom with shower and bath tub. There was a slight smell in the bathroom but pouring a cup of water down the drain got rid of it. Varied choice of breakfast served in the garden. There is a small pool which I used every day. Walk into town took about fifteen minutes. Free bicycles. Staff helpful. Would Definately return

Small quiet hotel with lovely rural views

This is a lovely small hotel on the edge of Hoi An about 10mins walk from the centre. You can borrow bikes but the walk is OK. Great views across field and nice staff and delicious freshly cooked simple breakfast.

Comfortable, quiet, affordable.

Very comfortable, and the owners and staff took such great care of us. While the hotel is not central to the attractions of Old Town (it's a 15 minute walk), the accomodation is quiet, comfortable and affordable, and the service and attention is outstanding. I recommend.

Lovely homestay

Lovely location next to the water with nice pool, and only a short walk to the old city in Hoi An. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended - our favourite accommodation across all the places we stayed in over our three week trip.

Wish We Were Here Longer!!

We arrived from Da Nang after a long day at the Marble Mountains followed by an awful taxi journey (Avoid the taxi issue by booking a transfer with the hotel direct - just over half the price of a taxi from Da Nang). So we were a little worn out and agitated by the time we were greeted by some very friendly members of staff / owner. Within 2 minutes of being in this property, we had smiles on our faces and felt completely relaxed!! Having settled into our large, clean room, (We'd paid the little extra to have a river view and it's so worth it! (The views and sounds on a morning and during the day made it the best stay on our travels... oh we had lightening one evening too!)) we were summoned downstairs and given a briefing on what to do and what not to do whilst in Hoi An. We thought this was going to turn out to be a sales pitch but it wasn't! A brilliant touch. Hoi An, was a little overhyped and touristy if I'm being honest... the famous saying "Same Same But Different" must have been invented here. It was still a nice enough place to visit for a couple of days, there's the river and town with the markets nearby. A million chances to have dresses and suits made to measure. There's also a couple of beaches within 20 minutes cycling distance. The roads aren't as bad as some places in Vietnam, so it's safe even for a novice. Bikes are available at the property. If you have 4 spare days and a couple of good books, the garden here is all you'd need. So beautiful and peaceful.

Small and intimate

Very relaxing stay here. Hotel is situated on an island about 10 minutes walk from the market and 20 from the Japanese Bridge. Great to walk in and get a taxi back for about £1. The small garden at the hotel is full of the most beautiful bonsai trees and slopes down to the river where you can watch the locals fishing and getting on with their daily lives. The only downside was the breakfast. This takes patience but as you sit on a covered terrace in the garden looking out at the river it isn't too much of a hardship. You do have to pay for all the extras here - no complimentary bottles of water and although there was a kettle in the room there was no tea or coffee provided. On check in we were given so much information to help us during our stay and safety advice too - you felt they really cared about you. There are only 6 rooms here so you really get the personal touch.

A riverside oasis close to the old town

This small inn, billed as a homestay, is less than a ten-minute cycle ride from the centre of the lovely old town Hoi An. Quite good breakfasts are provided on a covered patio overlooking small rice fields and the river. The rooms are comfortable and the family and staff very helpful.

Unexpectedly Beautiful and Comfortable Homestay

The view from our room on the top floor was excellent and gave us a bird's eye view of the surrounding paddy fields. The owner personally welcomed us and made us feel welcome to his beautiful house. Staff were helpful. The house and garden with many bonsai were so beautiful and unforgettable. The breakfast had both local and Western options including Vietnamese coffee (yum!)

Lovely Find

Lovely home stay. Staff is very helpful. About 20 mins to walk to Ancient Hoi An, but a very tranquil retreat from the bustle. Nice to be in a residential neighbourhood.

올드타운과 수산시장을 걸어서 갈 수 있고(20분 가량 걸림 )친절하고 편한 숙소였음 호텔을 통해 코코넛보트와 택시도 저렴하게 이용함 조식이 특히 맛있음 다만 엘레베이터가 없어서 연세 많은 분은 이용이 좀 어려움 Friendly and comfortable accommodation Walking distance to the Old Town and Fish Market Coconut boats and taxis are available at the hotel. Delicious breakfast

Magníficas habitaciones con vistas al río

Buenas habitaciones en lugar tranquilo y a la vez cerca de la ciudad vieja de Hoi An. Desayuno bien, aunque en ocasiones había un problema de comunicacion o comprensión con parte del personal, que daba lugar a malentendidos. Por lo demás estupendo, una estancia súper agradable. Personal atento y educado. Tienen bicis gratis y gestionan excursiones organizadas que están bien. Gracias por todo

2가족이 2틀을 묶었는데..그 가격으로 절대 찾을수없는 최고의 숙소였습니다. 직원들이 매우친절하고..숙소도 매우 청결하고..충분히 만족했습니다. 베트남이 처음이라..일정을 잘못짜서..호이안에서 2틀만 있었는데..더 있고 싶을만큼 좋은 곳이었습니다. 친절하게 대해주신 모든 직원분들께..다시한번 너무 감사합니다..

Vierailumme tässä hotellissa oli erittäin onnistunut. Miljöö ja maisemat ovat poikkeuksellisen rauhalliset ja luonnonläheiset verrattuna muuhun Vietnamissa kokemaamme. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja pystyi auttamaan pyytämissämme asioissa. Aamupala toimi tilausperiaatteella, jossa menusta sai tilata useita annoksia. Valikoima oli ehkä vähän suppea. Hedelmiä ei listalla näkynyt, vaikkakin niitä hieman saatiin ns. jälkiruuaksi.

Gutes Hotel

Gutes und sauberes Hotel; sehr ruhig da direkt angrenzend an ein Feld; nahe zur Altstadt (10 min zu Fuss und 3 min mit dem Fahrrad); Frühstück könnte besser sein.

En mysig oas att komma till. En charmig trädgård med många vackra bonsaiträd och orkidéer. En liten men charmig pool, inte uppvärmd men svalkande på varma dagar. Okej frukost. Ägarna var trevliga.

We had the most wonderfull stay at this lovely little hotel. The host, hos wife and the staff where very helpfull and kind. We got a large familyroom with two beds, which was really nice. God breakfast every morning - a little selektion of food to choose from, but really nice simpel food. We will defenently return some day.
