Clean but as usual for Philippines there is no attention to detail...forgot to leave towels after cleaning and a few other small things

The Richmond Hotel is close to everything

Love this hotel. Overall experience is excellent, facilities are clean, staff are courteous and accommodating and their breakfast buffet is reasonably priced. Although not much dining choices, the mall next door can provide various dining options.

Right at the heart of the city, easy access, walkable to shopping, dining and nightlife.

We waited 2 1/2 hrs for our room despite we arrived at the hotel at 4pm.

Would stay @ Richmonde again

Breakfast buffet was ok. The lobby was small and yet the advertisement (souvenir items) on display made it even smaller. There was free neck and head massage along the corridor to the elevator, making it more crowded.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel, away from traffic and crowds of the main city. The staff was very personable and accommodating.

the hotel is good, but the CR /shower room floor is marble which is slippery particularly when wet. it is not senior ctizen froendly.

This hotel was clean and the staff was very polite, professional and courteous to our needs. The breakfast buffet was good. There was an adequate amount of choices. We had 2 rooms and they were both clean and spacious. The only thing I would mention is around the pool area. It needed some upkeep in the tiles if the pool and with the heat the addition of some umbrellas for shade would have been greatly appreciated. The location was great as it was close to the festival walk with a lot of shops and dining options. Overall it was a very good hotel about 30 mins from the airport. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very nice, lobby, room, bed pillows & sheets. All the staff are very helpful & friendly. location is convenient to everything to see in the city, festival walk, restaurants & mega world is walkable distance. I would have given them 5 * but the water in the swimming pool looks murky or dirty, stayed for 3 nights, did not go swimming.

A place to stay while in Iloilo City

Richmonde has maintained its excellence in service, hospitality and quality. Thanks to their wonderful courteous, polite and efficient Staff. We always love staying here. The convenience of being able to get around the nearby mall, attractions and restaurants is a big plus.

Simply the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s a beautiful building inside and out. Easily walkable to the excellent malls like SM and festive walk along with lots of great eateries. The staff are lovely too. So kind and polite and would do anything for you. Thanks for making our stay special!

Great place to stay but should expand their dining area. Too many guests, limited dining area but food is great. I will rate this hotel 4.7 out of 5.

The staff were very pleasant and obliging. Notice of maintenance very timely. Pool and Gym very clean and tidy. I will stay here again.

Amazing weekend stay.

My 1 night stay was amazing. First, the staff were very professional and courteous, from the entry to reception to pool staff, housekeeping and room service. We were accommodated for early checked in and able to leave our bags after check out. The best was the room service massage. Took all my knots and pain. Those ladies were amazing. We love the pool too. Well managed hotel.

The hotel was more than adequate, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we stayed here 6 years ago when it was brand now, it is showing signs of not ageing well. Cook to order omelettes for breakfast were good and the only thing remotely “western”. All in all a good stay for a week for the price… $660 for a nice room with king bed so big enough for me my wife and kid. Good value. The surrounding area has come along in leaps and bounds and is a very modern, very up market shopping area with plenty of eating options. Would stay again

Staff were fantastic on reception, always recognising you when you enter or pass reception

Check in time is 2pm but I waited till 4pm since they are still cleaning the room. When we enter the room the smell is not good (aged smell). Wifi username and pswd incorrect. It’s not a flawless check-in. But the hotel staff are very accommodating.

We found it as a euphoric experience that took away all of our stress from the pandemic. We especially appreciated the ambience of the room, the cordialness of the staff and the overall cleanliness of our accommodation. This trip of happy memories will be forever held in fondness as we enthusiastically recommend Richmonde Hotel to our friends and family.

Convenient

The location is super convenient as a walk away is a mall a complex with restaurants.

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the Richmond the only problem was there was tiny ants in the entrance area in the bathroom and buy the snacks refrigerator in this refrigerator did not work in our room other than that everything was great

spacious room, comfy bed, pool. breakfast is OK but could be better with more local fruit options or native delicacies rather than continental fare. Also need more wine choice/options

There were some ants on the table on top of the refrigerator but the person cleaning the room was quick and brought some spray and cleaned it

The place is clean. Breakfast is great. However, the internet is slow, kicks me out to log frequently. The shower temperature seems cold. The gym is too small with a few equipment options. Location is just a walking distance to the mall and convention center. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Great location next to a mall and restaurants and convenience store. Lobby restaurant and bar/lounge was nice, only until midnight though. Wasn't able to utilize pool, closes at 8pm. Room is spacious and clean. Toiletries included. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay, but not worth the Php 675/per person if not included w/ reservation. Wish they would showcase local specialties.

Convenient location and the thing I don’t like is that you call the operator to replenish your bathroom toiletries. It should be a standard procedure to replenish those things because you used them everyday while you’re there.

Everything is Perfect

Stayed for 3 days and i find no fault in this hotel. Loved their Breakfast lots and lots of choices. Room is huge , Linens are clean , pillow is soft very and comfortable , bed is just perfect. A 5 minutes walk to Festive Mall. Taxis is abundant. All staff greets you with a smile . Everything is just Prefect and Wonderful. Totally enjoyed my stay and a big thanks to the management for making everything right.

Our go to place every time we visit Iloilo! Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious, my mother had no problem maneuvering her rollator in her room and bathroom. The sitting area in the shower was also very convenient for the elderly, one of the main reasons why my family chose Richmonde. As for me, I loved the pillows and bedsheets. It was such a treat after a very long flight to get a restful sleep in a quiet room. I could hardly hear the noise next door. Food choices were plentiful and delicious as well. Downside was the small pool but it wasn’t such a big deal since nobody was really swimming when we were there. The hotel also did not have a food service menu in any of the 2 rooms we booked but that was easily corrected by the friendly and helpful staff. Overall, our stay at Richmonde was a very pleasant experience. Thank you so much!

Richmonde Hotel is exceptional in all aspects from food, customer service, staff, location and amenities however the internet is the worst in all my 25 years of travel both domestic and international. Even though we own a house in Iloilo, i have to stay in the hotel because my business rely heavily on the internet. Not only that, my company just hosted a training and seminar for 2.5 days and the internet was just the worst as evidenced in the participants evaluation. In addition, we need to enter their unique user ID and password everyday or i will have no internet. I hope the management will look into this seriously.

Comfortable stay. Good water pressure for hot shower. Gym is small but has adequate equipment as there are not many guests using it. Pool is refreshing but can get full occupancy. Buffet breakfast always awesome! Service from kitchen staff is superb. Parking is adequate and secured. Hotel within steps of Festive Walk mall offering numerous restaurants, clothing stores & an APPLE STORE! Only issue is the check-in. Aside from myself, there were other guests waiting to check in that loitered in the lobby. The lobby was barren of seating comfort for guests to chill while waiting for check-in. After a long flight, it would be nice to have a place to sit in the lobby.

It started out rough but maybe the B- team was working the first 2 days. First the front desk staff is great and Mighty the dining room hostess👍👍👍👍👍. We checked in and my wife sat on to bed and there was a horrible sour smell coming from the 2 throw pillows ( you know the smell you get if you leave something in the washer.) the same smell was all over the phone in the room. It was very late so we threw them in the closet for housekeeping the next day. The young lady cleaning the room that day changed out the pillows made the bed but didn’t empty the trash in the room or the bedroom maybe and honest mistake. The young man cleaning the room the next few days was great. I had to flag down my own taxis enough of the bad... I have been to Iloilo over 10 times and normally I stay at the Seda hotel at the Atria it’s and an older hotel with no pool but when it come to customer service they can’t be beat. With the exception of again the fabulous front desk staff and Mighty the hostess I would have been really disappointed. Nice building but customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Nice friendly hotel with a tasty breakfast buffet.

The hotel was beautiful, very modern-looking. The front desk staff was on point and very helpful. The main downfall was: the room we were booked in smelled like mildew and the AC seemed like it had been off for many days when we checked in. I’m not sure if this is the procedure for the hotel to not have AC running in the rooms while not being utilized, but it just made our first impression of the room bad. However, when I addressed it to the front desk, they immediately came to our room to inspect and changed us to another room.

en-RICH-ing stay at Richmonde.

Comfortable and en-RICH-ing! Had a pleasantly enjoyable stay. Beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast deliciously fused with international and local flavors. Pool area was nicely designed and understandably populated having a nice view of the modernizing city. The gym was adequately sized offering free weights, exercise machines and treadmills. The Wi-fi speed was adequate for my son’s video streaming. Ample basement parking with security over watch. Another positive for the hotel is its location next to a new mall within a couple of minutes walk. The only concern I have is the hotel not having enough sitting area for guests to chill after a long travel while waiting for check-in.

Best hotel to stay in Iloilo City.

This is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in Iloilo City. The rooms were very clean and well kept with modern amenities. The rooms are considerably spacious and the staff are very helpful. We love the pool with the best view of Iloilo. A new mall is steps from the hotel. I would recommend this to tourists and Balikbayans. They have a fitness gym and great restaurants.

The location is near mall and dining places, the breakfast is great a lot of varsities, the stafff very helpful .

Five star hotel at budget hotel price.

I really liked my stay at this hotel. Great modern room with nice view to the beautiful swimming pool.Perfect location next to exhibition centre and Festive Walk shopping Mall and cosy, animated streetfood walking street next to the beautiful Emperador distillery buildings. To be mentioned is the very good (medical only!) massage opposite the hotel.

Good hotel

Very nice clean hotel, staff very friendly. Good music in the hotel bar during evening. Coffee at the breakfast took very long until served. Missing cold cut sausage at breakfast.

Bar pool area kinda nice but the drinks cost a little bit too much

It is a solid no nonsense hotel. The pool and the gym are nice additions. The lobby might need more sitting area, at times the Megaworld sales people takeover the lobby and run after you. I feel like I am truly in a MegaWorld property, can they please back off a little, it is very off putting!
