The property was clean, friendly and helpful staff. Open courtyard, well maintained. Quick access from the drop off. Only suggestion maybe having the name posted in main road so can be found easily for the first timers.
I would stay here again
We had an amazing stay of the staff were outstanding and you request. They made sure to make it happen very clean very quiet and peaceful. Dinner was amazing. We will definitely recommend anyone who likes their peace of mind and quiet to go there. We will definitely back. See you soon
I’ve visited several riad in Marrakesh and this was my favourite. It’s clean, tastefully curated, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the rooftop is massive. Furthermore, Riad Olema has the best heating I’ve experienced in Marrakesh and the entire riad smells fragrant. I’ve been in Marrakesh for a month and will be here for another 2 months but I plan to have retreats here during the week just for some extra quiet and comfort.
Nothing special, other than noisy, cheap breakfast, small bottle of water for two people per day and small soap for two people for three day stay.
Easily accessible riad in the medina
Beautiful riad in the medina. Easily accessible from Bab Doukkala. Friendly hosts and excellent breakfast. Pleasant sitting areas with pool and open fires. Interesting roof terrace. Only criticism is that the bedroom we had was a bit of a squeeze. Fine for 1 night but would have been a bit limiting if staying longer.
Nice
Nice place helpful staff in good location
Cute hotel
We really enjoyed our stay here. This hotel feels like an oasis.
Beautiful Riad close to the Bazaar. Excellent customer service and Hakeem took great care and made our stay feel like home. We give 6 stars to this property and will come back again. Last but not the least delicious and healthy breakfast each morning with a variety of Moroccon pastries and yummy fruits.
It's a very unique Hotel. Everyone is super friendly. Breakfast is excellent, the location is wonderful. It's in a quiet part, but yet close enough to walk everywhere in the old city, but also walkable to the new (modern) city. Great Hotel. And also they have a Hotel-Cat. Very friendly.
This road was fantastic and very well located with most tourist spots about a 20 minute walk. Hakim was so friendly and helpful. He even walked with me about 10 minutes when I left so that I would get the cheaper taxis. The back massage was the best I’ve had in my life and I have a massage in London once a month. It was 300 dirhams, roughly £30. I recommend staying here.
Amazing!
I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was so incredibly helpful. It was about a 15 minute walk to the main market Square. Which was OK with us because it was a little retreat from the chaos. Highly recommended.
Welcoming, friendly, homely
It's the second time I have stayed at Riad Olema. Both times it has been a welcoming, homely, and very comfortable place to stay. The staff always go the extra mile to help you and to make sure you have everything you need to have a great holiday, and I love the homely feel to the Riad. I will definitely be back again.
Excellent Riad, perfect for a couples short break
Our first time visiting Marrakech, and Riad Olema made it a trip to remember. The location of the Riad was great, it was only a short walk into the Souks and to the restaurants that we had booked, but also close to the city walls so we could also easily walk to Jardin Majorelle or get a taxi. The staff at the hotel were so helpful, giving us recommendations for our visit, ensuring we had airport transfers, and always asking if we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Riad has 2 pools on the ground floors - which whilst not in the sun during the day and quite cold - were so refreshing to dip into after a hot day walking around the city. There was also a jacuzzi on the rooftop if you needed to cool off after some sunbathing. Lastly, the breakfast was lovely - I was slightly worried about this as I didn't see many reviews about the food but it was great! 5 stars overall, thank you Riad Olema!
Had a fantastic stay at the Riad Olema. We stayed for 5 nights. The location is great, walkable to all the key sights in Marrakesh. Breakfast was delicious and the other items on the menu we tried were also fantastic. The staff were super friendly and recommended some amazing restaurants. Thanks for a great stay
We enjoyed the peacefulness within this lovely traditional Riad. On arrival, the staff were very friendly, and brought us mint tea to relax after the journey. Good explanation of where to go/visit, and a tour around the terraces and facilities. Throughout our whole stay, the staff were helpful in organising some private tours for us., and nothing was too much trouble. Akeem was exceptionally helpful and looked after us superbly. Would definitely recommend this Riad, and we felt we had good value for money. Any downside would be probably the breakfast variety, very nice but could possibly do with a bit more variety....only had a few other snacks there so cant really judge as we were out for meals. Our stay was for 9 days and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Akin and all the staff was great
Really friendly staff with amazing rooms and facilities to enjoy relaxing in the sun before heading out in the evenings to the Souks and squares. A really great little Riad.
We had a pleasant stay. Special thanks to Hakim for his kindness and help!
Lovely riad with hospitable staffs. The staffs were warm and welcoming. The building is very beautiful! Highly recommend
Book this Riad now- you will not regret it! The customer service here is outstanding. Hakeem, Sameer and their team provide 5* stellar customer service. They will make you feel right at home whilst tending to your every need with the utmost warmth and care. I truly hope I see the same staff here when I return in future years because they are a total asset to this gorgeous place. The Riad itself is exquisitely beautiful with a perfect ambience to feel you feel soothed and relaxed. Whether you want to sun yourself on the gorgeous rooftop terrace, have lunch poolside or pet the well-behaved house cats (or tortoise!). This stunning Riad and its staff will make this the perfect place for you to unwind and is a safe haven away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Breakfast is a tasty rotation of speciality pastries, crepes, bread, fruits etc. Its just the right amount of food to start your day off right. One minor issue I have is the fact that the rooftop jacuzzi is not the same as the photos shown on their website which is odd. In reality, it is an older jacuzzi made with green tiling and needs to be upgraded in order to match the image that we see online. This is my only qualm. The rest of the Riad is stunning and is exactly like the photos online so don't let this one minor thing put you off at all. Still a 10/10 experience- Book now!
Received tea and biscuits on arrival, beakfast included. Clean and confortable quite lovely. Friendly staff.
An Absolute Gem
This Riad is an oasis of calm in amongst the chaos of the Medina. All the staff at genuine, courteous, welcoming and super helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The Riad is beautiful decorated and feels like a home from home. Very relaxing stay, highly recommend
The Riad itself is nice but once you step out its a different experience. Its located (like the others too) in the old city Marrakech so manage your expectation
love it!
Beautiful Riad, so serene. The staff so welcoming, friendly and easy to chat too. Would recommend to all!
I need a tv when I stay in an accommodation. I also need a small frig. I wanted eggs for breakfast but there was a charge. My room was very noisy.
This Riad is beautiful and is very spacious. The staff are excellent and helped us to organise excursions and airport transfers seamlessly. The pools and rooftop are also lovely. It’s easy to walk around to great restaurants and to the lovely souls, so a perfect location. We absolutely loved our stay.
I highly recommend staying at Riad Olema. The Riad, is maintained well, it is very clean, stylish and has lots of facilities. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially Hakeem ! He went above and beyond during our stay. When we first arrived, he explained the best restaurants and places to visit in Marrakech. He offered us moroccan tea and treats and gave us a tour of the Riad. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at all times, and asked about our visits. He would serve us breakfeast every morning which included toast, fresh yogurt, jam, omeletes, pastries etc. The food at the Riad is divine ! He also gave us warnings about some people in the area and how they might approach tourists so to remain cautious. Fortunately, we did not have any problems all the locals were lovely. The Riad is in such an ideal position, markets, tourist spots etc are all within walking distance which means you will be able to see alot in a short space of time and really embrace authentic Morrocan culture and cuisine. Overall, I would rate this Riad 5 out of 5 stars !! If you want luxury at a fair price with fantastic service this should be your top choice. If it was not for Hakeem and his service our trip would not have been as memorable to us. He is a fantastic staff memeber and more than that an outstanding genuine person !! Pick this Riad for the best time in Marrakech, you won't regret it !!!
Stylisches Riad, extrem nettes Personal und leckeres Frühstück.
Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean
Staff were so nice and accommodating, room was comfortable and as described. I would recommend a few things though - the breakfast is nice but would suggest adding eggs and meat to the menu, the hot tub should be hotter, our excursion to the ouzoud waterfall was filled with surprise charges - I’d recommend booking with an external group where everything is included (travel, guide, lunch) rather than the hotel.
We loved our stay at Riad Olema! The owners and staff are the friendliest and accommodating. The area is close to everything without feeling crowded or noisy. The property itself is beautiful as well. Our only issue was with our room being very dark and spotty wi-fi in the room. Would stay there again!
The staff was extremely friendly and attentive at all times and we always felt taken care of from the moment we arrived to our departure. Our accommodations were excellent and very comfortable and our hammam with a massage spa services were so relaxing! The location of Riad Olema & Spa was close to the Old Medina of Marrakech which was convenient for site seeing but inside it always felt like an oasis of calm and quiet comfort. I cannot recommend this hotel enough; our experience here was exceptional!
We booked this Riad for the last 3 nights of our trip and could have stayed much longer. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable and peaceful. Service was perfect and we absolutely loved Samir. I would absolutely recommend this Riad
Great stay, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Pool areas are only small and depending on what room you go for you can be “overlooked”. Room was in fantastic condition, but a little small if you have large bags with you. Breakfast was tasty and served efficiently. Overall a great stay and i would recommend.
We loved the personable staff and their constant concern for our safety and comfort. The space was decorated so lovely… lots of towels, when required for the pools, and there was always staff in the Riad. The quiet calm in the Riad felt like an oasis in this boisterous city. Breakfast was delicious and every morning offered a few new items. We would highly recommend this Riad, and we would stay there again!!
VERY friendly and considerate staff. If you want to stay inside the Medina this is the place.
This riad is so pretty. We loved the Moroccan decor. It is very central just a 20 minute walk to the square or about five minutes in the taxi. The mosque is a great landmark to give to taxis. The service is brilliant. Everyone who works there are extremely friendly especially the men. Syed, Samir. Sophian, Mubarak and Abdel were all so great. It was always a pleasure being greeted by Samir when we came back each night. They gave us good recommendations and were always on hand for any suggestions. As two women we felt very safe at the riad. I would definitely recommend this riad when staying in Morocco.
Good place and nice stuff
Great location, plenty to see within walking distance. Staff are professional and always willing to help.
We stayed at the riad in June 2023 and couldn’t recommend it more. The staff on hand were all so welcoming and friendly, and the setting of the riad is stunning. Our room and facilities used were all clean and fresh and the dining options were absolutely delicious. The on site spa i would also highly recommended. The surrounding area offers other restaurants and cafes should you wish to enjoy, and we found the location great for pretty all major tourists spots we visited. I would definitely recommend the riad for families / couples / solo travellers just wanting to explore Marrakesh. Definitely be coming back!
What a gem! Beautiful pools, rest areas, staff were excellent. breakfast lovely! Walkable to most spots, jiat so pleased to have stayed, would recommend. Special shout out to Abdel and Hakim , thank you all for a lovely experience in Marrakech
Very attentive staff. Hakim took the time to show us landmarks and dinning spots. Mubarak was helpful on check out day even taking the time to help with pics. Riad is beautifully decorated and clean. In a great location and very walkable
This Riad is beautiful and has many areas where you can enjoy and read or relax. My room had an issue with the AC but it was fixed asap and the staff was always super helpful. I stayed in a small room and it had all that I needed. The check in was super nice and they gave me a good walkthrough of Marrakech and recommended nice restaurants. I had done my research upon arrival and it was a nice reassurance to hear that their recommendations matched my research :). I would stay here again for the price and service. Breakfast is included every day and it’s pretty good.
Loved it! Centrally positioned, beautifully looked after, friendly and stylish. Roof terraces are phenomenal, endless seating areas, jacuzzi, power points for phone charging whilst you sunbathe, plants everywhere. Gorgeous! Rooms/ bathrooms very clean and extremely attractive, traditional lighting. ate here twice - on both occasions food excellent. All staff polite and helpful, but the star is Abdul. Nothing was too much, always ultra helpful - booking trips, suggesting restaurants and booking them for us, giving us info on different places, going through the map with us circling areas of interest. This sadly didn’t stop us from getting lost, so he recommended a guide. We had the same guide that someone complained about in an earlier review. Youssef. Yes, after taking us to lots of historical areas, he did ask if we wanted to shop, and take us into large shops where he was clearly known. But he did also make the point that the products in these shops were quality, genuine and made in Marrakech. Also he assisted in bartering twice! I bought some lights with him. On getting them home they are clearly top quality/wired properly. I bought cheaper lights later, (without him) from a souk store….vendor insisted were made in Marrakech. Examining them at home, the wiring is dubious and they are clearly nowhere near the same quality. Also they are wrapped in a Chinese newspaper…point made. The only reason not to stay in this lovely Riad is if climbing stairs is an issue.
Riad Olema et Spa was a beautiful Riad located in a central location within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Our room and all common spaces were nicely furnished and decorated. There were many quiet, relaxing spaces to retreat to after a busy day of exploring. The service was exceptional as were the breakfast and snacks. Abdel, one of the staff, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this palce.
I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, we had an absolutely fantastic time! All of the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us, the room was beautiful, and the location was perfect for tourist hotspots. I can't wait to stay again!
Amazing Riad!! We can’t compliment the staff enough! We got looked after so well and everyone was super friendly. The property was peaceful and very beautiful.
Exceptional service throughout the duration of our stay here. The staff were outstandingly attentive and catered to all of our needs. For example, when it rained, the staff went out of their way to get us an umbrella from a local shop free of charge.
This Riad is beautiful! It has such a charm and attention to detail. It felt like a true and authentic Moroccan experience. Very clean space as well. The staff here are the heroes though. They provided utmost hospitality and were incredibly helpful in guiding us around the medina and Marrakech in general. They set up airport pickup and gave us suggestions on where to visit and eat in Marrakech. The breakfast is also incredible-- extremely elaborate and delicious
The staff are wonderful people and the room and Riad is nicely decorated. The bed mattress is hard as a rock and needs replacing. The breakfast is basic and needs improvement. The management is corrupt. They arranged a guide for my wife and I to show us around the Medina Area. The guide (Youssef) put us in high pressure sales situations at stores where he obviously receives a commission. We naively bought goods at these stores that were 2 to 3 times higher in price over market value (we later found the same exact goods at other stores for less than half the price). We mistakenly assumed that any guide the Riad Olema recommends would be honest and would have our best interest at heart. Unfortunately that was not the case. We believe the manager (Alexandra) knows this takes place for when I complained she said they have arranged for the guide (Youssef) many times with hotel guests and never had a complaint, yet an employee of the Riad told us that other hotel guests have complained to him personally of the same problem. Also, the Riad Manager refuses to stop using the guide Youssef even after our complaints. The only rational conclusion we can surmise is that the management and/or Riad Olema must be receiving a financial incentive in return for allowing their guests to be swindled. I’m sure the management will try to refute these statements below but this is the honest truth of what happened.
For my fiancé and I this was an amazing experience it felt like we were staying with family in a palatial estate. The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating, and really made a distinct effort to try to take care of you despite language barrier. Yes you can get around with English and there were very few times when we felt the need to Google translate. I would definitely stay here again and cannot say enough good things about the staff. Well, everyone we interacted with was wonderful, Saeed and Abdel were exceptional. We stayed in room eight, which overlooked a courtyard with a pool spent several nights on the rooftop talking the night away just a magical experience. Tips are definitely not expected but seriously the cost of living in Marrakesh is super low so a two or five dollar tip is the least you can do as a fellow human being to someone who is caring for you. When we landed at the airport, we immediately cashed $200 into the local currency (MAD)and then did visit ATMs a couple times to get the local currency local vendors will take dollars but it felt more comfortable conducting business in the small shops with the local currency. Most nicer restaurants will take Credit cards. Walking through the crowded streets, we never felt unsafe (my fiancé is a beautiful blonde who stands out. I was worried about that, but had absolutely no rudeness) with the local vendors, you could probably cut their asking price in half as a starting point.
The staff are so kind and sweet!
What a beautiful riad in a great location (not too close to the hustle and bustle of Jemma El Fena) close enough to great restaurants and stores. I really appreciated the attentive, friendly staff. I would definitely book this riad again when visiting Marrakech!
The property is situated in the heart of Medina and has a very nice ambiance. It has a good courtyard and an even better terrace to relax in a jacuzzi. The whole place despite being in the middle of Medina hustle gives an immense sense of calm. The staff was friendly in general. However, language was a big barrier. Apart from Abdel, other staff struggled to communicate in English effectively. As a non-french and non-Arabic speaking tourist, I felt communicating daunting task at times.
Nice Riad with friendly staff
This place is beautiful, I could not stop taking pictures. The staff is amazing and super helpful, the breakfast is delicious and the location is great, a couple minutes walking from the souks. Would definitely recommend staying here.
This Riad is absolutely stunning. You feel so welcomed and cozy right away. On top of that the service is absolutely impeccable. My friend and I will definitely be coming back!
Sensational raid. Most definitely stay here again. I have zero complaints. Make sure you ask about Marrakesh as they’re well knowledgeable!
Really great place. When traveling to Marrakech, you should stay in a Riad. These are the historic buildings with the big courtyards in the middle. This one had absolutely excellent staff, was clean and secure. The place is gorgeous and well appointed. The roof Terrance is phenomenal and the pools are extremely relaxing. The spa was also really good. It’s tough picking a Riad in Marrakech, but this one is a sure bet for it’s staff, cleanliness, food service, outdoor spaces and beauty!
Staying in this Riad is one of the best decision I made in life. The place felt magical. The staff made us feel at home. We cannot thank them enough for the amazing service and experience. We are so pleased we want to make this an annual trip only just to stay in the Riad again. Location was perfect as its close to everything and best way to experience Marrakech. Wifi, food and cleanliness was 10/10. Thank you once again to all the staff that made our stay an incredible experience. We hope to see you again soon.
The staff was extremely amazing and helpful. They made my stay comfortable and we’re responsive. They also taught me so much about the culture and the lay of the land from a local’s prospective. I don’t know how I can stay in a hotel again after having this experience.
Loved my stay! Staff were super friendly. Thank you so much for a warm welcome to Morocco.
The only problem I have with this riat I was told I stained billow case and I was told I have to pay $55 US dollars so I paid never again here
This is a fantastic Riad full of charm with excellent staff that go out of their way to help. The spa is fabulous, the food delicious and the general atmosphere delightful! I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
This was our first visit to Marrakech. The owner Alexandria and staff are incredibly lovely and helpful. The details and balance between old (beldi) and new are beautifully executed. The location was perfect for us. Situated just inside the medina it is a short walk to jardin majorelle and shopping in the medina or the vibrant jemaa el-fna. The property has various public and semi private spots to hangout. From the rooftop overlooking the mosque, lounging by the two pools or cozying up by a fireplace, you don’t even need to leave. I had the Oriental rite hamman package and left feeling so relaxed. Looking forward to coming back!
Wonderful workers.
Workers were extremely wonderful and helpful, the riad was beautiful. Unfortunately for 3 girls, this room was extremely tiny and the extra bed gave me back pains and the lighting wasn’t great at all.
excellent staff wonderful location very please with our visit
Well located, beautiful and relaxing Riad with wonderful service. A great price too. Highly recommend!
Cozy stay on outer edge of Medina
I had a lovely one night stay at Olema. The staff was wonderful and my room was very cute and clean. I was worried about the colder February evenings, but my room stayed warm and it was pretty quiet overall in the Riad (other friends had noise issues at their riads). Breakfast was delicious and served at a table right outside of my room. The location is great because it is on the outer edge of the Medina so car drop-offs/pick-ups are easy and everything else in the Medina is at most a 20 minute walk. My only regret is that I only had one night there! I’ll definitely be back to this riad - and would highly recommend it!
Amazing properly, extremely friendly and helpful staff
Location for us was very good. Room was very good. Our bed was great. When we travel we say what we want is a good bed and a clean good bathroom. They gave us both along with pleasant staff at a reasonable price. We will return to Marrakech and look here for our place to stay. Thank you all for a great visit.
Lovely hotel all round (clean, located just outside of the busiest parts of the Medina, as shown in the pictures) and with lovely, helpful staff too! The breakfasts were a particular favourite of ours, always a nice variety of local breads/ pastries with butter, cheese, jams and preserves, yogurt, fresh fruit, and orange juice and a hot drink of choice. Would definitely recommend!
Everything a traditional Riad should be, absolutely fantastic! It's difficult to believe what is behind closed doors because you really wouldn't have thought the splendid Riad was there. Staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help and made us feel really at home. We went in November and the weather wasn't brilliant but with the open fires going it felt very cosy. The top floor has a super terrace, really good for getting some rays and pretty big going over the street and the hotel on the other side of the road. If I was to pick fault it would be the breakfast, which although adequate, alternated with the same food from one day to the next. If you go in the Winter ask for Room 1, it's directly above the open fire below and the chimney goes up through the bathroom keeping it nice and warm. I did miss daylight coming in to the room in the morning but that is the nature of a Riad. If we go back I would definitely stay at Riad Olema. Thanks.
Great location and even better staff.
The staff was super helpful and provided
marrakech week
Felt like home! We were greeted with such warmth each morning and served a delicious individual breakfast. Everyone always checking to see if we had plans or needed any assistance in planning our day. Really enjoyed our stay here and found it easy to get around and out of the Medina.
Attentive Service
We had a 4 night stay at the Riad Olema. A beautiful Riad with attentive service. We’d thank to pay a special thank you to Hassen who went above and beyond making sure all our needs were met. Location was fantastic and a short walking distance to all locations.
Overnight stay
Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is perfectly located in the centre of Marrakech, but slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of the souks. The hotel itself was really modern and well kitted out with modern, spacious rooms, yet still retaining the atmosphere and authenticity of a traditional riad. There is a rooftop terrace with plenty of secluded areas so you can relax in comfort and peace without feeling like you are staying in a hotel. After checking out we were able to use the petit riad to change and relax which was perfect. Would 100% recommend!
What an amazing place to stay. Can not fault it. Staff were so attentive and are a credit to themselves and the Riad. Nothing was too much they even printed off our boarding passes, organised transfers and made an early breakfast so we could eat before our flights. Absolutely amazing thanks to all who work here for making our stay so perfect.
The Riad was beautiful and quiet. The staff could not be more helpful. We would definitely stay again.
It was our first time in Marrakech and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The riad was our little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the soul. The staff were so welcoming and it made the experience feel very personal. The room has everything you need, including lovely bath products. The design and aesthetic is gorgeous in both the rooms and the common space. Top quality service and food. Will definitely recommend to friends!
Amazing Riad. Great design, lovely pool and terrace. Amazing room and very nice staff. Highly recommend.
Beautiful Oasis away from the bustling medina
Loved our stay here, really is interior goals! Lovely staff, breakfast and the pool was great to cool off after a long day exploring the city.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor is beautiful.
Loved staying here. Staff were very friendly. Family friendly too
Note for worth reading
1.Phone number given by hotel.com always came busy as I wanted to arrange pick up from the airport ( We were landing at 8:30pm) 2.I called hotel.com and complaints about phone busy signal. They gave me email. So I wrote email to them. Riad Olema confirmed that someone would be there to pick us up right outside. 3.After immigration and picking up my bags. We waited 45 minutes and no one showed up to pick us up. Therefore, we found local number. I called them told them we were waiting for pick-up. The evening staff immediate arranged a pick--up service for us. By the time we reach, it was late 4.The Riad Olema "does not look like pictures posted on Web". My wife asked "Did you check rating of the hotel?" 5.All breakfasts were below my expectation except one. 6. All service staff were excellent and they tried their best to help/guide---If go back, it is because of them 7.Local is inside Old Madina--which good. It is not safe to walk. Everyone ride carelessly. There is no right of way for pedestrians. .My family and were hit motorbike many times or had very close calls. 8. If you are going shop and move around in Old-Madina, it is good location,Stay9. If you coming from USA/Canada-I will not recommend you to stay there
A really stylish, friendly, well located property, with great attention to detail.
Everything about this place is just wonderful. From the rooms to the courtyards to the pools, rooftop terrace and various little chill out areas within the riad. You can easily find your own corner or sun lounger to just relax and unwind before taking a dip in the many pools and jaccuzi's around the riad.
Had an amazing time in Marrakech! Riad Olema is a great get away from all the hustle and bustle out in the streets. The staff was very friendnly and the place was beautiful. Would stay here again!
Best hotel ever! Amazing service, beautiful place, great location.
The best and beautiful riad in Marrakech
This was our second time visiting Marrakech and our second stay at this Riad. From start to finish this riad could not be more realaxing, peaceful and luxurious. Hotel transfers were prompt, our room on the second floor was extremely clean and spacious. Although this raid has several rooms it is very peaceful and almost feel you have the place to yourself. The roof top pool and terrace has some lovely views. Breakfast and dinner were equally delious and service was impeccable. The riad staff are warm & welcoming, nothing seems too much trouble, they are very helpful on local knowledge and advice. The spa and treatments were some of the best we have had. The riad is 10min walk to the souks and is very well located for all the tourist attractions. We are planning our next visit could not recommend it more.
A wonderful Riad to stay. I read about this place in an NYT article, the experience proved we made the right choice. Particularly after comparing with another "Instagram" popular Riad we stayed, Riad Olema is the one which more than it looks. The service is superb, the staff were always attentive, our room was lovely. Especially, this Riad focuses on details, which includes high attention to cleanness (Not easy for Riad in Marrakech), amenity (The shampoos and kits Olema have are definitely high standard). The owner put a lot of effort in interior design. The pictures don't even justify its beauty. We would certainly love to return in the future!
Excellent service, food and Riad.
Though it is in walking distance it was hard to find first off. Once you now your whereabouts it is ideal. Staff are incredibly helpful and breakfast is delicious!
Fantastic Riad in a great location.
I am from Australia. Stayed at Olema for 3 nights and loved every minute. 10/10 The beautiful Riad is clean and modern. Lots of little places to sit back and relax. Pool was clean and sun beds on the roof were very comfortable. The breakfast provide was so good to have every morning. But I applaud the staff. Fantastic friendly people who bend over backwards for the guests. Always smiling and willing to help book tours and give information about local restaurants and places to visit. Marrakech can be a little intimidating at first, but the staff made me feel at home. I want to say thank you to Hakim for always greeting us and helping us with a smile. I cant remember the name of the other staff member who helped us alot with restaurants and with our bags, he was a taller guy... Loved the open spaces in this riad with little turtles just walking around with the cats, lots of fantastic books around the place too that are always available. Bathrooms are big and so unique. Location of this riad is also fantastic. 10minute walk from the main square and 15mins from the gardens. Some very nice terrace restaurants just around the corner too for dinner. Trust me when I say you will love this place. Marrakech is a bit of a shock to the senses when you first arrive, but I assure you after 2 or 3 days you will fall in love with it. We will be back next year to stay at this Riad. Thank you for everything 10/10
Oasis in the midst of the Medina
Great location within walking distance of major sights, though not easy to find. So peaceful and quiet in the hustle and bustle of the medina and the local market, and the staff are attentive to your every need. The pool is tiny but does the job of cooling you off on a hot day. The only drawback was the drainage in the shower backing up, leaving water all over the bathroom floor.
Loved our stay in this beautiful Riad, staff were the best we have encountered for many years. Great location, great room would thoroughly recommend.
My experience was amazing. Staff are so helpful and kind. They arranged everything for us from coffees to excursions! The experience was made memorable because of the staff. Location is excellent and Riad was very suitable for my party of 6.
Amazing location, staff and room
We had a more than pleasant stay at Riad Olema. The location is spot on - we walked comfortablly to all the attractions. The only car journey was to the atlas mountains. The staff were superb - build a really good relationship with everyone and they remembered our tea requirements at breakfast and in the evening. The children loved the space in our family room, very spacious with a place to relax and large bathroom. A small pool but perfect for young children - ours loved splashing around in it. It was great that one of the pools was heated - encouraged the children to get in. Overall a very good choice and we would definitely stay here or recommend it to others. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so pleasurable.
