This property is NOTHING like the photos. I paid for a specific room but they had given it to someone else. The room they offered me was substandard. Dirty shower, lightbulbs out, really awful. Dirty outdoor hot tub. I refused the room that they offered me and the owner was extremely rude. They have taken 3 weeks to answer Expedias calls and have refused a refund. Expedia have also denied my refund, instead offering a $100 voucher, not the $330 that they owe me. This is not only appauling but also illegal on part of the hotel and Expedia.
I spent about a week in this Riad and had a wonderful stay there. The staff is super friendly and helpful; always making sure you that you are comfortable and satisfied. The Riad is beautifully decorated, with unique rooms styled individually. On the ground floor there is a small courtyard and a lounge area, and on the roof there is a terrace where breakfast is served and you can order tea. The Wi-Fi is quite good, even in the rooms. The only downside to this Riad, is that it has no pool, the jacuzzi is not working, and there is very little space if you want to lay in the sun; only to sunbeds. However, I was offered to use the facilities at a nearby hotel. Although, there is so much else to do while in Marrakech than lay in the sun, and if you want to go swimming, I would recommend going to a hotel instead. Great thing about this Riad is it's location. It's very easy to get to the main square, and from there to the new town etc., also the area is quite safe.
HOTEL IS BASIC
hotel is ok if you are on a cheap budget, staff hardly understood or spoke english.complained about lack of water pressure in bathroom couldnt take a shower properly and even worse when someone else was using the water in the other rooms.no bulbs it the lights either in the bedroom or bathroom and hardly any sunlight coming in to light room up.the bulbs were sorted out on our last night.the owner was hardly there and left running to her staff
Charming decor, disappointing everything else.
- Expedia contact info for the hotel is incorrect, and they couldn't assist. We did not find the correct info (on our own) before it was too late to cancel the reservation. - The hotel staff, though nice, spoke little English. In fact only 1 person, Mohamed, spoke more than just words and phrases. Mohamed was great though. The decor was also nice. -We were not put in the room that we booked. The room we got had the loudest bed I've ever slept in. The wood frame creaked loudly like a rapid fire pellet gun whenever my husband or I moved. We did not sleep well. - wifi rarely worked - no tv channels in english (but there were German softcore adult programs.) - 5 minutes of hot water. I washed my hair 1 time in 7 days, in cold water, standing on the edges of the tub with only my head in the icy water, then quickly rinsed the rest of me in the warm water. - Overcharged by the hotel!!! This really was the last straw. Marrakech is hectic and after battling it out in the Souks for mass produced goods, I did not want to haggle over the price of my hotel bill. That's why I booked through Expedia in the first place. But they charged my card as soon as we arrived, and with the language barrier, it was a difficult process to get anywhere. My husband talked them into taking off something but we had been over charged a lot more. PLUS we paid the hotel for an airport shuttle back to the airport, and they put us in a taxi that demanded payment at the airport.
Super cozy Riad
super cozy Riad. Was welcomed and upgraded free of charge. The owner had plenty of time to answer questions. The only downside was that the staff only speak French or Arabic, which was a bit of a problem for us, but drawings gestures could be used
Magnifique !

Great location near medina. Staff helpful and freindly. Only issues were a shortage of hot water and the room we were staying in could have used more lighting
