Séjour vraiment extraordinaire. Le riad est vraiment magnifique et confortable. La situation géographique est exceptionnel au centre de tout et vraiment près de la pla Jamaa El Elena. Le personnel est toujours présent et disponible 24 heures par jour. Hamou et Taha sont excellent et offre un service de très haute qualité et personnalisé. Déjeuner très copieux et varié. Je recommande le repas du soir à 20 euros seulement servi parfaitement et excellent. Bravo à toute l équipe. Les chambres sont très belles et très spacieuses merci.

From drop off by Cafe De France and getting to Riad( someone walked us provided by transport) to welcome by Azeldine to confirm plans with us for our time there to dinner on rooftop and breakfast was wonderful! Room was beautifully done, nice mix of traditional and modern with great shower! We only stayed 1 night as we were being picked up for Sahara Desert 3 day trip

Beautiful riad in the heart of the old part of Marrakesh which allowed us to walk to the souks and the palace. After coming back from the bustling streets this riad was an oasis of calm where the staff were amazing. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Very clean and nice decorations. The hot tub is very old and the overall terrace could be improved a bit. Riad should have a garden inside but here it is more like a typical marroccan house. Apart this, we had very good experience. Matching expectations

Experience at the riad Letoile Dorient was amazing. Entire process from airport pickup to the trek in the extremely busy medina to our riad was amazing and memorable. Once we reached the riad we received a warm welcome with tea and biscuits along with great tips and a thorough walkthrough for our stay. Fati , Azadine, the night crew and the lovely ladies at the breakfast bar made this stay unforgettable and we wish we had stayed longer. It was a bitter sweet goodbye but we will be back and we will be sure to book the gienna suite again at Letoile Dorient

The Riad was absolutely stunning! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a delightful fragrance and big smiles from the friendly staff. The manager warmly welcomed my family and me, taking the time to mark nearby attractions on a map, including closing times and entry fees. The property itself was cozy and intimate, exactly as depicted in the pictures. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made time to chat with us, offering great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Even if you don’t plan on buying internet, getting around is easy—one of the day staff ( sorry i forgot her name) introduced me to an offline map, which really helped us explore the area safely and independently. I found this gesture very considerate. Another staff member, Abdul, was especially helpful. He guided us on local prices by checking out pictures of items we were interested in and was super kind to my family. Abdul also answered our questions about the local culture with a great sense of humor, often joking with my parents, which made us feel right at home. Overall, the Riad was more than just a place to stay—it felt like a safe haven where we could truly relax and enjoy our holiday. It made our trip even better!

From the point of booking till the day we left the staff were excellent, so welcoming and friendly. Any questions I had, I just messaged them through Expedia and received a prompt response. The Riad itself was stunning, a true reflection of the photos on here and a great location, as everything was walking distance.

Amazing stay, host was very welcoming and attentive to our needs, excellent room, food, service and peace. A big thank you to Abdul and Azdin for their welcoming and constant help, anyone wanting to visit Marrackech I would definitely recommend this Riad as it is close to all amenities required, looks amazing and very professional people working there.

Incredible location within the Medina. Staff was incredibly friendly and meals very generous. VIP perks were not given. Still 5/5 though.

We loved our stay here! If we could have stayed more nights we would have. All the workers were super kind and attentive. Fatima was super kind and informative as well.

This place was an absolutely amazing home away from home. From the moment you entered to the time that you left, the staff catered to your every needs. They were professional, yet friendly, giving amazing advice and suggestions. They made my stay one that will forever be remembered.

Fabulous Riad with Great Location

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Riad. I received excellent service from beginning to end with pickup, excellent accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts, beautiful room, comfortable bed, fabulous suggestions for restaurants and day trips, air conditioning though rarely needed, easy communication and a final drop off at my driver pickup location. The location is fabulous! It’s quieter than the main streets but only minutes away from shopping and great restaurants. The laundry service was also much appreciated. This Riad is very clean with excellent housekeeping and spa services. The staff are all very kind, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this Riad!

Great accommodations and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was cooked daily for us and delicious!

First off, the staff led by Ibrahim and Hassan were great. Main issue is that the property, which would have been very nice at one time, is not maintained at the advertised 5-star level. The A/C did not work very well, and the internet was spotty at best. The bed was quite uncomfortable, as it was not the king-sized mattress advertised, but two twin-sized beds of uneven heights pushed together.

Friendly staff and convenient location to the markets. Great shopping and sightseeing. Secret Gardens were beautiful.

It was very hot so unfortunately we did not feel like the AC was working even though it was on. Hotel location is good. Food is only on order by 3pm. Outside excursion prices cheaper than what hotel recommends. Customer service good at hotel

Everything was wonderful!

The front receptionists are very nice. Both super friendly and helpful. The riyad is very close to the plaza and street shopping. The hot tub on the roof was awesome to relax after a day of walking. I recommend, good stay!!!

Beautiful Riad Close to Medina Square!

Exceptional service, beautiful riad, and great location close to the central market

Excellent value

Fabulous staff. Everyone was very helpful and happy to be of assistance. Breakfast was very good and included omelets which was a rarity when we toured Morocco. Location wise it was only a 3 minute walk to the Market and there were plenty of food options both restaurants and convenice stores within 1-2 minutes.

Great location. Very convenient to many major attractions by walk. Staff is always helpful and friendly. We love the beautiful breakfast here, they change some of the items everyday to make your first meal not boring. This is a riad in Médina so the taxi just cannot bring you right in front of the entry point. But they provide a porter (free of charge) to bring you and your luggage from the taxi drop off point which is only a 8 minutes walk.

Lovely stay but noisy

Stayed here for 3 nights recently with my husband, first time staying in a Riad and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Nestled in amongst one of the really busy streets off the main square but once inside you wouldn't think you where so close. Beds extremely comfortable, had a great night's sleep the first two nights only thing that ruined it for us was our last night we came back around 9pm as we had to leave for an early flight, a large group of around 10 had just arrived, they were having food in the small restaurant located just beside our room, we could hear everything, laughing shouting, people outside our room smoking and talking loudly, wasn't until my husband went out to speak to reception at 11.30pm that they were asked to move but it still carried on upstairs till around 1.30am! We are Absolutely for people coming on holiday to have a good time but these rooms have zero sound proofing you hear everything going on outside your room. First two nights we must have been extremely lucky as the place was quiet. But it just took the shine of our stay off a little bit but still a lovely place to stay.

Highly recommend this property, especially Ali and Sanae who are professional and eager to help at any time!

Loved it! This was my second time staying in a riad, but my first staying at the Riad L'Etoile D'Orient and I would do it again. The staff was so friendly, the WIFI good, the room and bed comfortable and I loved the decor. My father was traveling with me and he loved it too!

Great Riad with perfect location. People are nice and breakfast is really good.

The property itself is a bit difficult to get to if its your first time but after the first day you’ll get around the area, especially with the help of the staff at this Riad. I was warmly welcomed with a nice mint tea and a proper explanation of the Map, with places to go, things to see and how rich the culture is. As I only spent one night here… I had most of my services with this Riad.. the Hammam bath and massage, the meal.. everything was done with excellence . I also booked the Riad just for the experience which I got. If you’re used to the city life and don’t like to experience something different then this is not for you . Overall.. I was satisfied

Absolutely fabulous

Ali & Sanae were super , nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome, rooms were serviced daily which was super, we can recommend dinner which was beautiful, the bedroom was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and varied each day and was delicious, right in the heart of the medina it is superbly situated and we would highly recommend it .

Located in a well known street. Therefore, easy to find. Five minutes walk to Jmaa al Fina. Sana and Ali were most helpful. Breakfast is okay.

Heartily recommended

The pics of this riad don’t do it justice at all. It really is gorgeous. The location is amazing. It’s in the Medina close to jemaa al fna, but all you hear once you’re inside are the birds chirping. Nice cotton sheets and amazing breakfast. The breakfast is amazing. I didn’t use the jacuzzi because it was a little dirty, but there is also a shower on the roof to cool off if you want to sunbathe. Staff was super nice. Their spa itself is beautiful, but the hammam/massage was pretty basic and borderline substandard. That said, it is very affordable so still worth it.

Great staff, great location

An amazing place with amazing staff. Upon arriving the manager took time to explain the area, all the do's and dont's and was very accommodating with all our requests (including printing of board pass). The riad is located only 500 m from the central square, yet is tucked away so that it feels like a retreat after a hard day of negotiations at the market. The great location allowed us to quickly duck back to the riad whenever we needed - this was vital as my 4 year old son needed pool time (yes there is a jacuzzi) to cool off

The staff members were very helpful and informative. My guest who is vegetarian had a delicious meal that was custom made for her by the chef. My dinner which I chose from the menu they have at the property was equally delicious. Best part was having dinner on the terrace. The location is near a busy area with lots of shops and many things happening as the same time. This is the experience you want to have when you stay in Marrakesh. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay within the Medina near the souks.

I stayed in 3 different Riads while in a Marrakech and unfortunately this one came a distant 3rd. Didn’t quite match up in terms of expectations, service, rooms, facilities and was of similar pricing to compare. Ok rooms, excellent location, staff weren’t terribly helpful or friendly, ok breakfast and my room smelt a bit odd. Overall, very underwhelming.

Nice riad in the medina close to the main square

Spent four nights in the riad, an excellent oasis right amongst the unique Marrakesh experiences.

Exceptional riad and great staff!

My stay at this riad was amazing! The rooms are really nice and super clean. Location was great! An easy 5 minute walk to Jemma El Fna Square! Very quiet and peaceful in the evening. I ended every night on the terrace sipping mint tea listening to faint noise of the square in the background. The staff was incredible! They made sure I had everything I needed and wanted, even going to the store for me to pick up little things I needed. I wanted to do some mountain biking in the Atlas Mountains but this was not one of the activities offered by the riad. I had trouble booking the excursion as most places I found required a minimum of two to book and I was traveling alone. So, the manager of the riad spent 40 minutes one afternoon helping me call every bike shop around and found me a place that provided me a guide and all the equipment needed! It was one of the best things I did on travels and would not have been possible without their help! I cannot have been happier with the service the staff provided! Simply the best! I also got a Hammam Bath and massage at the spa that was amazing! They made the experience in Marrakech such a treat and I will definitely stay here again next time I return to Marrakech!

Very clean and comfortable by eestern standards. Staff was very nice. Included breakfast was very good. Location was safe and central plus very easy to find. Very important in this place!

Helpful Staff, Great Riad

I highly recommend this Riad! My stay could not have been better, from the complete hospitality of the staff to the accommodation itself, the spa services and more. When I arrived the airlines had broke my luggage, and Sanae (receptionist) went before her work shift the next day to the souk to find a replicate suitcase for me because she would have been able to negotiate a better price. It was such a kind gesture and she completely went out of her way for that, and I was so appreciative. I also recommend booking an appointment at the hammam during your stay!

It was a little hard to find the hotel and some of local ppl took me and my husband to the hotel . They asked 50 MAD for tip but the hotel staff talked to them on our behalf. So we didn’t pay them any tip . The room we stayed was clean and comfy. A shower booth and restroom was separately .

Fantastic option for Marrakech medina

Very helpful and friendly staff, accommodating all of our needs, including an early breakfast one morning (and the food was great). Very peaceful hotel only a block from the craziness of the medina. The only problem was finding the Riad upon arrival. We were told to contact them and they would send someone to get us at the main square. Well upon arrival at 8pm the main square was absolute madness and it was only by pure luck were we able to meet the porter. Other than that the Riad was great!

Very clean, lots of amenities. Like many other riads in the old medina, it seems to be located in a shady alley at night but okay in the morning. Lots of souks and shops nearby. The riad offers a lot of services and excursions that you can book for a fraction of the price outside but they offer it for convenience. Overall a very good stay for 1 night.

The Riad was very close to Jemaa El Fnaa.

Riad is conveniently placed close to Jemaa El Fnaa Square and that is what is most important, getting in and out of the square quickly without being hassled by touts. In Marrakech, location is everything.

Great staff

All staff were great, location is just a minute walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the heart of the old city. I think this is exactly what you come to Marrakech for, the chaos and fun of it all. Despite being very close to the square, the room was remarkably quiet and we felt very safe there.

Great experience

Me and my friend stayed here for 4 nights earlier in December. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. I've summarised the good points below: -The hotel has a modern feel, the décor is very contemporary. Shower, bathroom and entrance have clearly been renovated recently and feel very new. There are seating areas on both floors if you want to sit with a book or a drink. -Good breakfast,with lots of variety. -Location is great as it's literally a 3 minute work to the main square where everything is going on. -Hotel is in an ally way so not on the main street (beneficial as I'd imagine it would get quite loud if on the street). -STAFF! I cannot emphasise enough how helpful the staff our. Mohammed who greeted us had good knowledge on the area and was very accommodating, offering us tea etc. Ismail who would be covering reception in the evening was very friendly as well. He always greeted us with a smile and expressed an interest in how our day was as well. He seemed genuinely interested to make sure that we were having a good trip. Having stayed at numerous hotels in the past I can say without a doubt that the staff are second to none! In an effort to be completely objective, on occasions sound did travel from room to room and occasionally you'd hear some sound from the street but this was rare and often not at a time that would disturb us. To anyone contemplating booking this riad I would definitely recommended it and visit again.

Excellent Riad

Traveled to Marrakech in July with my daughter. The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of the souk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend the Hammam as it was incredible!

Everything was nice for a two day stay in Marrakech. The rooftop was a bit rough and looks too good in the photos. Just our opinion and feel: don't stay in the old medina in Marrakech. Outside is better and less crazy. But the riads inside are all so quiet which was nice.

Decent but not great

The Riad is in the heart of the old Medina which is why we chose to stay here along with the charming photos we had seen of this place. If you arrive by car be prepared to get pestured by locals claiming that the roads in every direction are closed so they can make a few bucks off of you. The hotel itself is nice with a pleasant breakfast and actually nice staff by moroccan standards. What could use improvements is providing details such as where to park and how to get to the Riad on foot. Everything in morocco is negotiable and it would help if the hotel could provide some guidance to its guests in advance to make the experience less frustrating. I suggest staying outside of the medina overnight if you arrive by car to reduce the hassle and minimize the stress level.

Excellent Riad, and awesome staff!

Awesome experience! Great place, very clean and good location. It's close to the Main square of the Medina, and easy to find. They also offer a mixed Hammam, which is hard to find. Their spa and Hammam packages are excellent!

Amazing riad, in center location

This riad was so beautiful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We recieved a map, and they told us all the places to see. We bought a big watermelon back and they helped us cut it up and store it for us. The location was very center, and walkable distance to everything. Breakfast was very nice on the rooftop

The perfect location

The Riad is in the perfect location for being close to Jemaa el-Fnaa (2-3 min walk). The riad is very peaceful, the only sound you will hear from outside is the call to prayer from inside your room. Lovely roof terrace with a hot tub.

Oasis of calm close to meltee of the medina

Marrakech is not for the claustrophobic but despite the crowds in the narrow thoroughfares you never feel threatened. No hassle, the locals go about their own business but there's always somebody ready to show you the way. Excellent food at reasonable prices even in the tourist bars. Great place but be prepared to do plenty of walking.

Fantastic Riad!

Pleasantly surprised at the level of service and comfort from the minute we arrived. Azedine helped us with directions and excursions. Beautiful ambience and nice amenities. Comfortable luxurious rooms.

Great stay

I would recommend getting a guide to take you around the area if this your first time in Morocco. The Riad itself was excellent with excellent service. Clean, safe, and the staff were outstanding (especially the night shift manager). As a first timer in Morocco, it was hard getting around and we got caught up in some local scams, this is why I suggest the guide. This Riad is in a great location (close to markets and square)

Excellent Riad and amazing location

We decided to of course stay in a Riad in Marrakech, seeing as this was our first visit. Mohamed and his staff were totally amazing. I will not stay anywhere else in Marrakech next time. This Riad is wonderful!! From the time I booked the week long stay, to the time we checked out, everyone was just wonderful. The Riad is in a great location. Close to the main square and the souks. But hidden away enough so that it is not noisy or difficult to get to. It is very safe, and I did not feel unsafe walking around the area. Mohamed and his team do an excellent job of making you feel like you live there. There is nothing too much to ask them. And it easy lovely to chat to everyone. We had the hammam and massage and it was amazing. Do not try the spas in the Medina. They are awful. Definitely book a hammam at this Riad. (My husband and I had a massage twice, and a hammam once.) The hottub/jacuzzi on the roof is great too. Lovely at night. Breakfast is great. Traditional with a 'westernised' twist. Try everything they have to offer. And definitely try the SVENJ. This is a donut type and delicious for breakfast. Thank you again Mohamed and team. Can't wait to come back soon.

Lovely riad, great location, friendly staff

We stayed from Christmas Eve to New Year's and loved it! This was a great base to explore the medina and close to transportation and tour meet-ups that allowed us to go beyond the medina.

Great Riad

Beautiful Riad. Only a 2 min walk from the main Jmaa El Fna square yet is was a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle. We booked the Dana room which was basic but perfectly fine for a few nights for a couple. The staff was amazing, extremely helpful and accommodating, especially Azedine. Would definitely visit again.

Inconvenient

The room was too small and I felt claustrophobic as there were no windows to open for air but the one which overlooks the small reception area. The Windows that were there were blocked. U could hear the toilet pipelines all night after a flush. People shouting outside. You also had to stand outside the hotel door for someone to let you which was very inappropriate when you have people standing there asking for money. The route to the hotel was very hard to find and very very smelly. Every time you had to look over your shoulder because there was motorcycles coming at you every second without any care. Found this very dangerous as we were walking around without luggage sand we had to walk through alley ways where the hotel is situated. Very disappointed with this stay and I did not stay the second night as I had to get away from it and booked a different hotel. If only there were pictures on site to see the outside of the hotel to see what was surrounding the building. The breakfast was appalling as there was no meat and only a few slices of bread. There was flies everywhere and there wasn't a spread of food like how you will see at different hotels.

Lovely but questionable billing practices

Absolutely beautiful riad and excellent customer service. Our only complaint is that they charged for services (like airport transfer) in Euros at rather than local currency. Furthermore - the exchange rate they applied was ridiculously in their favour, increasing the cost further. They also overtly requested a group tip which was totally inappropriate. Beautiful rooms but not a fan of the somewhat dodgy billing practices.
