Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Great accommodation and experience.
Just got back from my holiday, me and my two friends had a great experience the accommodation is very clean in a very beautiful traditional Moroccan style building with a small pool in the middle so quite/ tranquil. The staff were very ++++friendly happy to help and very happy which made our stay even more enjoyable. They have Moroccan breakfast however if you want for example eggs in the morning you should ask they will prepare them for you. They have a very nice roof top garden/ sun bathing beds. Nice to chill up there after long day. I could not flute the accommodation only just a few things I should mention which wasn't a problem for us but they maybe a problem to other people. No TVs in the rooms, No kettle/teas in the rooms and also they don't provide ironing board or iron in the rooms. The rooms are massive and the beds are ginormous bigger than the king and the queen beds very comfortable. The rooms are clean every day. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.
Beautiful Hotel
Beautiful hotel and very friendly accommodating staff. Would definitely stay there again.
The accommodation was perfect for our stay. Riad was well kept with traditional features through out. The room was very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. The breakfast was just what we needed... crepes, bread, paratha, jams, fresh orange and rea/coffee. Recommend
We loved this cute and charming riad in a super quiet area of the city. It was a short 20 min. walk to the Bahia Palace. It was a 12 min walk to pizza (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HRAHfwbBtYazQYek8), shawarma, grilled food that was delicious and very inexpensive...and open late. The staff were very kind, honest and helpful. They helped us find a taxi and looked after our bags after checkout. The breakfast was sufficient and offered the local fresh bread. The road was clean and SO quiet and away from the noise and bustle of motor bikes and traffic. We loved the charming ensuite with bespoke decorations. The room was warm (in Dec), clean, included soaps, towels, etc and the bed was cozy We also loved the taxi ride from the airport pickup where we had to go through so many of the old gates/walls. It was the perfect introduction to the city.
This riad offers a peaceful and welcoming oasis, just a gate away from the bustling energy of Marrakech’s Medina. The calm and clean atmosphere made my stay truly wonderful.
Riad Le Jardin d'Abdou is very well located within the Medina, offering convenient access to nearby sights. The room was beautifully and very spacious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
All good
Clean, excellent service. Beautiful interior
Lovely Riad! Fairly straight forward to find. All of the staff are so kind and will accommodate all of your needs. My only issues were that with the included breakfast we were given free orange juice, tea and coffee but had to pay for any water. It's very annoying when I can't drink juice, tea and coffee to be charged for water. The room had an overall sewage like smell, that filled the room that was coming from the sink. We kept the windows open as much as possible but if we went out for the day we obviously couldn't do that. Finally the pillows are very uncomfortable. Out of the 5 pillows that were in our room only 1 was not lumpy, we took that pillow to reception to ask if we could have more of that type of pillow and were told that the thin lumpy ones were new and therefore we couldn't swap as they didn't have the other old ones.
We were really pleased with our choice of Riad. Le Jardin d'Abdou was beautiful; like an oasis closed off from the rest of the city. When we arrived the courtyard was cool and calm, we enjoyed some tea and watched the birds dancing around the palms. The Riad is 10-15 minutes walk from the main souks and at first we were slightly concerned about walking through a new city, but the area around the Riad is full of families, children playing and tradespeople going about their daily lives. I spoke to the miller and tailor across the street and the carpenter working on a renovation down the road. All the people we met were friendly and welcoming and we felt really comfortable and safe. Abdel and his team have really hit the mark with their Riad it was not at all pretentious, rather it was charming and understated. We only wish we could have stayed longer, when we come back to Marrakech, (and we will,) the Riad Jardin d'Abdou is going to be where we want to stay.
Place is peaceful and beautifully decorated . Very kind staff, they were concerned about us having an excellent stay ,Yunis was amazing.
Great place with an enjoyable courtyard and rooftop. Room also was pretty decent and the dinner/Tajine we had here was the best we had in all of Morocco. Service also was great and the host was very helpful with explaining the surroundings and booking excursions. One improvement opportunity is to have better partners for pickup/excursions with better vehicles
Very beautiful place. Perfect for a romantic weekend. Super helpful staff. Great roop top terrace.
Staff was great & provided a hospitable experience
The attendant was very rude.
Great service and staff
We loved this property. The location was great, the staff amazing and spoke good English and so helpful. The room was incredible and the standard of cleanliness 5* We will be returning.
We love everything from moment we walk in to end was just beautiful
peacefully relaxing.
What a beautiful and quaint Riad, It was just so relaxing and the staff were all wonderful. I would definitely return to this place. There is only one thing I would suggest to improve the Terrace and that would be to have a single shower area just to cool off as we went up there to catch some sun and it was almost 40 degrees. My wife and I only managed about 30 minutes on the Terrace as it was just to hot. If you could just cool off in a shower every so often it would be more bearable up there. Thank you for our stay. Happy customers 😀
Delightful place to stay, with very friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to the centre to walk there, far enough away that it is just outside the hustle and bustle. Accommodation was beautiful and the food was really excellent.
Pool in middle of Riad was very peaceful. Food was really high standard and you could have it in multiple rooms. Massages onsite were also great.
Terrible water problem
This is a riad at the end of the Medina, so you are far from the touristic area. It is authentic and not fancy, as I thought from the pictures. The problem is that there is no water pressure in the riad, and the hot water come and go, so you simply cannot shower normaly. Changing a room did not help. We never experienced such a situation in the world. Therefore we checked out after 3 nights of the 6, but they billed us for the whole 6 without our consent (although saying that they will ubderstand if we will check out)! simply un accepted.
The stay was nice, but the riad had cancelled our reservation without notifying us beforehand. The staff was not very friendly nor helpful.
Had a lovely stay, staff and food were excellent only critique would be the showers in both of the rooms could be better other than that we had a great stay and would highly recommend.
Muy buena ubicación, de todos los mercados, y nos atendieron muy bien.
They need to improve their showers and breakfast, and they should provide slippers, especially in winter.
December stay
Beautiful Riad on the edge of the Medina, spotlessly clean and equipped with an AC unit which you could adjust the temperature to provide cool and hot air . Very friendly & professional staff,in particular the manager abdel who showed great hospitality and shared his knowledge and traditions with us, as it was our first time in Morocco . We also dined at the Riad and had an outstanding meal for such a reasonable price.Beautiful and spacious rooms, lovely courtyard and rooftop for relaxation. Short walk into the Souks and The main square is walking distance, roughly taking 18/20 mins. exceptionally good value for money. Highly recommend.
The Riad is Beautiful and Cozy; they need to put attention on the maintenance of the property. Parking at the property is easy and convenient for the area.
My husband and myself enjoyed every single minute in this Riad. The staff is amazing and the supervisor was very attentive and helpful with any assistance we needed. Very professional gentleman. Definitely a place I would come back!
Beautiful and calm riad, very kind staff, a little far from the main areas but it was a great break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Also very convenient that we could get dropped off and picked up at the door instead of having to walk through the Medina with our bags.
The staff expected our needs before we even asked. They were friendly and treated us like family. I will definitely be returning!
Overall the hotel was nice for the amount spent. It is however very far from everything and in an unsafe area for walking to places in the evening. This spot is more for if you don’t mind paying for a taxi everywhere. Their website also mentions they offer laundry but apparently they do not.
Staff is amazing, food is amazing, service amazing!!
Excellent Riad but a bit of walk from the main Medina.
Really nice Moroccan riad located at the eastern side of the Medina. Spotlessly clean and staff are friendly and helpful. It is located a fairly straight-forward 15-minute walk to the Jemaa el-Fna so you shouldn't get lost. Other than the riad's own restaurant, which I didn't use but plenty of other guests did, there are no dining options in the immediate vicinity. Handy little stall on the corner though for basic needs, snacks and refreshments
The Riad is vey clean, the staff is excellent.
The Riad is very beautiful and cute. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Our stay was very relaxing. It is a bit far from the main action and the wifi is very weak. Except those it’s a very good place to stay. Great for couples and honeymooners.
Is a beautiful Riad. Easy to find without being lose in the Medina. The dinner is amazing. Best Tagine I ate. The staff is friendly. Always somebody is cleaning and arranging the courtyard, furniture, pool. To make it look great.
Very friendly staff, made us feel like family
Amazing riad with more than typical courtyard space and beautiful decor
We had an amazing stay at Riad Le Jardin
Wonderful stay at this Riad. If you’re not pressed about being a little further out in the Medina, this is a cute spot. The surrounding area can be a little sketch upon arrival, but one you get settled in, it’s a unite charming and cool to be nestled in with the hustle and bustle of the community. Staff is quite lovely and extremely accommodating. I will go on record to say that you will have some of the best hospitality in the world in Morocco.
Calming space, takes you straight from the hussule and bustle to a space of serinity, traditional decor adds so well to the experiance, great 20 min walk through the local alleys to square and most other destinations
Very nice Riad, clean and friendly staff
Everyone was super nice and helpful , the hotel is clean and close to all attractions. I enjoyed my stay at the Riad
Beautiful. Staff was helpful and really enjoyed the space!
The essentials: Friendly and helpful staff, decent aircon in room and warm shower. Breakfast and dinner very good, they serve beer and wine. Can also recommend the massage service they offer. Very happy with my experience for the price.
Great Place
Amazing room and facilities and service however definitely not a 5 star although amazing never the less!
Très bel endroit, calme et ressourçant. Le personnel très chaleureux, à l'écoute et disponible. Merci pour le séjour et à bientôt inchallah.
Soon as you walk in the door of the main entrance, the world surrounding you is transformed into a relaxed meditative setting in compared to the hustle & bustle of old Medina . The convenience is like no other. Staff are as friendlier than your own family & very respectful. The place was clean & accommodating to all your needs.
The property was beautiful but the surrounding area was a little shady . I didn’t like the fact for excursion the owner charged euros instead of the countries currency which is basically cheating and deceptive practices
Everything was very clean. The staff was helpful. Overall great experience.
Awesome staff great property!
Very Beautiful Place , Will Come Again One Day
Staff were very helpful, Hospitable and attentive!! Location of the property and the decor of the Riad!!
This was my first solo trip, and the staff at this Riad definitely made it so much easier!!! Super friendly, and. would reserve all of the group tours for me. While also educating me about the culture so the trip was very much "smooth sailing"! 10/10 recommend for anybody, stay at the "Old City"; It is way better than staying at the "New City".
Ok hotel
Amazing experience, greeted with Moroccan team, the staff is very professional and helpful, I couldn’t believe the price per night. We were coming from la mamounia luxury hotel, and the service here was impeccable compared to a luxury hotel. Very clean, and convenient.
Basic but cheep. Customers too noisy late at night
This is surely not a « Fabulous » 8,8/10 I would say 6/10. The Riad is simple. Very very basic. But the price is very basic too. That doesn’t mean it is « Fabulous ». The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Too bad the customers think they are still at home and speak out loud until 01.30 AM. Impossible to fall asleep before.
Staff was wonderful. Ahmed and Mustafa were outstanding and incredibly helpful. The driver (I’m sorry can’t recall his name) was also excellent, providing transport to and from airport, as well as a trip to Aït Benhaddou. I hope to return some day!
We had such a lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. It is tranquil setting amongst the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Loved it !!!
The service was great and the staff was helpful. The Riad is about 15 minute easy walking distance from the main square. Only complaint was the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable.
Amazing service - staff really friendly and helpful will definitely return - peaceful retreat amidst all the hustle and bustle nearby. Parking was useful as well
Very beautiful and clean Riad, friendly staff. not so close to the city center. Parking is on the street next to the Riad.
The property was as described. Water would have been nice in the room each day and breakfast buffet as opposed to what you get given. Clean, friendly and well placed.
Beautiful facilities. Quiet area within short walk (a mile) to all the tourist attractions. Wonderful, helpful staff. The tajine is one of the best we had. Wonderful mint tea as well! I would highly recommend.
I love the service and the architecture. Food was good and the employees great!
Very fancy hotel. Staff were super helpful. Room was excellent. Breakfast was just bread and jam and coffee. The on-site parking was just an alley. The door is not very visibly marked as the reception or check-in area.
Staff are very nice and helpful. The place is kept clean and it has been restored well with old tiles and it is nice to seat in the patio. It is however in an area where you would not walk in the evening.
I want to give the team at Riad Jardin d’Abdou a very big thank you for making our first time in Morocco such an amazing positive experience. I wish we’d stayed longer. this Riad is perfectly located within easy walking distance of many Marrakech sites and right on the edge of the medina. The accommodation is spotlessly clean. The food is exceptional, I recommend booking dinner in the restaurant, enjoying mint tea and biscuits in the courtyard during the day and the breakfasts set us up for the day every morning. wonderful friendly service and we’ll definitely be coming back.
The place is clean and the staff is nice. They prepare the breakfast a bit earlier as we have to join the tour in the early morning.
Amazing little Riad stay
Amazing little Riad. Went on others recommendations on here about how good the food was there. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and given tea and biscuits To relax With. The rooms were generous with a king bed. All rooms face the inner courtyard so noise can be a small problem but it all finishes up at a read so let’s time. Food was definitely worth staying there for. Staff just lovely, 15-20 min walk to the Medina. Tv only in a lounge but we enjoyed this. Felt cosy by the fire. Open rooftop to let light in and a full rooftop to lay on if you choose
Raid Le Jardin d'Abdou hotel's check in was very pleasant, and a receptionist was very welcoming. A room is extremely outdated. A mattress is in an urgent need to be replaced! I stayed in January, 2020; and during that night was very cold! A heater in the room did not work! As I was told later, an air conditioning only! I stayed in the room (7) seven, and all windows were facing the pool, a restaurant, and a court yard with all other rooms! Be prepare to hear everything (e.g., music, people's conversation and someone who will walk on a high heels)! The hot water runs only for 7 minutes maximum. I suggest to find other alternatives.
I really enjoyed my one night stay here in this riad. I would have liked another night but I had already booked elsewhere. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was nice although I would have liked an egg, as is offered in breakfasts with non 5 star riads. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Hope to come back another time to stay.
gh recommended
Excellent would def re book. Close to the souks in the Medina square but no noise. Staff very friendly and welcoming Breakfast very filling Highly recommended
The building is good but the service was not
Limited options for the breakfast , the food hall is quite dark( not enough day light )The building is classic traditional , the hot water in the room won’t last more than 10 min in the shower.
Everything was great! From the staff and to the cleanliness. I would stay there again!
Pros are staff are wonderful helpful want to please clean . Cons the location is awful Scary would not advise to go there without a male . It’s stuck out in the middle of a grotty town . The breakfast is so basic very disappointed.its not 5 star it’s 2 star.the shower water only lasts one shower so the other person has to wait. WiFi is hit and miss.
This is an amazing place to stay. The riad is simply stunning, the rooms are extremely clean and the staff is welcoming and pleasant. Very helpful as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat,
This is a beautiful riad with a fantastic team of friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast each morning was lovely and the evening meals are better than most restaurants - just order in advance. The riad is a 20 minute walk from the main square and was an oasis of peace with a lovely shaded courtyard area as well as a rooftop terrace with loungers. It was perfect for us and we recommend wholeheartedly.
The staff are one of the most helpful people we have ever come across nothing was to much trouble for them, they helped with our day trips and taxis, the food in the Riad was excellent, we can only thank them for there hospitality and would highly recommend this Riad.
Great place to stay
Staff was amazing. Room was very nice and the food was excellent. Not that convenient for walking but taxi service was available at reasonable prices.
I have booked through Expedia looking for only five star hotels and this looks on the website like it is five star actually it is not a hotel it is a guest house you can not even park a car am disappointed with my best agency Expedia I had to cancel and book another hotel
The Riad was rather basic but you get what you pay for ! We booked a superior room at a more expensive rate , our friends booked a basic room, but theirs were far better. Staff pleasant, location of the Riad is in a rather rough location although this did not bother us, as it added to the charm (in a perverse way ) Rooms and common areas clean, although we did find it rather amusing that the Riads washing was displayed on the bathing area on the roof .
We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this wonderful Riad. ALL of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The Riad is beautiful, the rooms are lovely. We only had dinner once and regret that we did as it was by far the best meal we had in our short stay in Marrakech. Breakfast was lovely too.
Very peaceful and comfortable, the staff were very attentive and great food available.
Fantastic Riad and Top Notch Service
Great experience! Arranged a safe and reliable on time pickup from the airport for us past midnight. Easy check in, everything was straightforward. Room and bathroom tub and amenities were fantastic! Pool and breakfast are wonderful. Highly recommend.
I loved my stay, the staff were very friendly and approachable. A great road not too far from the main square.
Nice quiet secluded. Very welcoming once you get behind the doors. Extremely quaint
Riad Le Jardn d'Abdou has beautiful architecture the staff is very friendly and efficient The rooms are big, clean and peaceful- was hoping for nicer hand soap/shampoo- no lotion? We enjoyed dinner very much-the cook is excellent I feel that the common areas are a little bare- would like to see comfortable seats by the pool, rugs and more plants The area seemed very utilitarian
Beautiful hotel & welcoming staff! The rooms are gorgeous, and the center courtyard is a great place to have a drink after a day of sightseeing
A hidden gem Staff looked after us very well Very clean and traditional
Lovely Riad
A lovely property with pretty inner courtyard with a small plunge pool. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful attending to whatever we needed. A bit far to get to restaurants in the Medina, they did though have a good cook whose tagines were great so eating at the Riad was fine. Overall a very lovely experience.
This was the first time I stayed in a riad. It was very nice. The room was excellent and so was the staff. I highly recommend it.
This is a beautiful hotel (Riad) with true Moroccan style throughout. It's a bit out of the way but is peaceful and relaxing. A brilliant stay.
Everything was as expected, the owner was very kind, the property is beautiful with a very relaxing atmosphere.
Very nice Hotel, exactly like in the pictures. Very friendly personnel and perfect service. The rooms where big and very clean. If I would go to Marrakesh again, I would book the same Hotel.
Excellent place to stay with friendly staff and quiet surroundings

We really enjoyed our stay - the staff are so friendly and happy to help with anything, from booking taxis to arranging massages and meals (both are onsite services). The hotel is small and quiet and the pool and sun terrace facilities are great. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.
