The riad was a beautiful and peaceful retreat from the busy Marrakesh streets. The staff was always very friendly and helpful!

Enjoyable stay overall

Central medina location, in few mins you are at Jemma al Fanaa, the staff is friendly and breakfast is good (you have to walk half a block to a restaurant and use a voucher provided by the Riad). If you are travelling with a family and have luggage there is not a lot of space in the rooms. Wifi is extremely unreliable

Unable to control air con and TV did not work.

Very comfortable and friendly place. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was well appointed, bright, and clean. I enjoyed the various outdoor spaces up on the roof. Our only complaint was the airport transfer - they didn't show up. We don't know French or Arabic, and our phone service wasn't working, so getting to the riad was very stressful and ended up costing 400 Dirham (we were told it would be about 40 Dirham). A reliable transfer would have made the start of the trip much more relaxing and enjoyable.

Fabulous from start to finish. Can not fault this place, the staff were all lovely, special shout out to Lolla who was just lovely. The place was immaculate the cleaning ladies even folded and put away items that had been left untidy. Food for breakfast was delicious Moroccan style. Ideally placed to walk to all of the major tourist attractions easily. With the main square only a 2 minute stroll away. A very peaceful bit of paradise within the buzzing medina. Already planning a return stay.

Based on a review I choose this Dempster!! No more then cheap dirty hostel with money hungry team ,those falls reviews must be paid for ,highly priced !!! Absolutely fraud, dirty towel ,no kidding no pool ,,no restaurant, poor breakfast, they charge for every possible thing ,and give no service no clean towels and dirty linens, dont dare to go if u don't want to ruin your visit ,for any price would never go back there !!!

The most wonderful welcome by Shareef who met us from the taxi and walked us to Riad Ghali. The Riad is in an excellent location within the Médina and very quiet.

Medina Nightmare

While the price seemed great compared to others the long alley way where this riad is located off of is deserted and felt unsafe walking to and from once the sun was down. When I arrived their porter kicked a cat across the street as I screamed he ignored me. I was horrified. Once inside the property, the Riad is beautiful and clean but they have no drinking water in the room and have to preorder food for the next day and schedule which is hard when you want to wonder around. They also upcharge you on everything, my gf ordered a beer when she landed and 2 days later they delivered and charged us 40 Euro on checkout. They also charged us at a higher exchange rate and also tried to charge us for a taxi which we didnt take which we opposed and finally conceeded to paying half but when we said half they said all or none and then it was like a nasty breakup we had to leave the hotel w no help (normally this would be ok but no cars are allowed in the medina and its a 15 mins walk through chaos.. us two little girls had to carry multiple suitcases through the alley way until the main medina street and beg for help and found someone who went and found a porter for us. I would not recommend this place to anyone even though it is a nice place once inside but even for the money the lack of service, unsafeness feeling walking to and from the riad and the upcharging and scamming is not worth the money you save in the beginning. Horrible feeling leaving the trip dont make the same mistake!

Fantastic place in city centre

A great place to stay in marrakech..right near the centre with all the markets and action about 5 minutes walk. Lovely staff, quaint Riad style accomm, very comfortable

Great staff

The staff make this place nothing to much trouble for them.From trips to airport collection and drop off. We had the time we needed to back at airport changed to 7am at 10pm the night befor.One quick call and all was sorted with no fuss

Fantastic Stay!

Service was great...Osman our porter / breakfast chef and the ladies at the reception were patient and attentive to all our needs and requests. Our room was neat and very clean. Breakfast was personally served outside our room every morning even at 7am or 11am. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to Jemaa El Fynaa. The only downside is the long, dark and dirty route (alley) to the hotel.

Nice small hotel but far from road so must walk

Nice but small hotel in the middle of the Souks in the main square. Can only get to it via cobbled and dusty alleyways on foot (5 minute walk). Easy to get lost around maze of souks. Staff helpful with directions and excursions. Breakfast poor but typical Morrocan fayre.

Beware of False Reviews- This Place is TERRIBLE!!

Just returned from a 5 day trip to Marikech where we were supposed to stay at the hotel with another family we were traveling with. When we checked in to what was supposed to be a 5 star property, we were a bit skeptical just looking at the entry way (which already didt't resemble the pictures shown on here) but thought about all of the great reviews and figured it would definitely get better when we were able to check in to our rooms. Well, were we WRONG. I had reserved what was supposed to be a room with a full size bed and a twin in a separate but attached room. Well, the room I was given was just a one bed room and it was so small that I could hold out my arms and touch the walls on both sides of the room. And OLD, very, very OLD. When I asked about the other bed, they didt't know what I was talking about. Then they offered to somehow drag another bed into the cramped tiny room. I knew I was ready to leave. The shower was old, cracking and looked like something there was no way I was going to be able to get my son to go into. The air condition was barely working and it was not anywhere near cool. I was SO relieved when my friends knocked a few minutes later and said they wanted to leave. When I went over to their room, there were men doing some kind of construction right above their heads. The electricity was going on and off every few minutes and so we packed up and told them we were leaving. Even knowing we would lose ALL our money, it was that bad!

Good Riad, but the pool was not working.

Generally the Riad is quite nice Our room was small but that is what we paid for. Breakfast was also quite good. For us the location was quite good and generally we felt safe. Our stay was marred by the fact that I chose it for all the above reasons and a working pool. When we got there the pool was not functioning. During our entire three day stay the pool was out of order. The staff at the Riad was very quick to calculate our exact bill and porter charges but not so apologetic above a none working pool, which was why I paid extra rather than a Riad without a pool. Disappointed in that regard. After the three days we went to another Riad nearby which in every regard was much better.

The alley way in the Medina filthy. Riad ok but problems with toilet not flushing and taps leaking water on to floor. Toilet fixed. Breakfast not good only sweet things like pancakes and jam. Overall ok but nothing to shout home about

Best Stay in Marakesh.

This place was a beautiful oasis! The pictures posted is exactly what you see in person. The room was spacious and the lobby was breathe taking. It is hard to find though...therefore you might need to hire a porter to help you to the location. However, it's in the heart of the Medina.

Trop bruyant. Le spa qu'on a fait a 2 et au final il y a qu'une personne pour vous masser donc l'autre attends allongé sur la table de massage .

Experiência péssima

Foi uma experiência horrível em família. Não havia condições de tomar banho, pois inundava tudo, sem climatização em pleno inverno, poucas cobertas, café da manhã muito fraco, não respondem mensagem no aplicativo, barulhos. Enfim, jamais voltaria.

J'ai eu la chance de séjourner au Riad Ghali lors de mon voyage à Marrakech, et je dois dire que l'expérience a été tout simplement merveilleuse. L'un des points forts du Riad Ghali est son ambiance calme et apaisante. Situé dans une ruelle tranquille, loin de l'agitation de la médina, le Riad offre une atmosphère sereine, parfaite pour se détendre après une journée d'exploration dans la ville animée. J'ai apprécié le calme qui y règne, ce qui en fait un havre de paix idéal pour se ressourcer. La petite piscine du Riad est tout simplement charmante. Bien que de taille modeste, elle est joliment aménagée et offre un rafraîchissement bienvenu, surtout pendant les chaudes journées estivales de Marrakech. Le Riad Ghali a également su me séduire par son architecture traditionnelle marocaine, avec son magnifique patio intérieur orné de carrelage artisanal et de jolis détails décoratifs. La décoration authentique et raffinée ajoute une touche d'élégance et renforce l'atmosphère paisible qui règne dans l'établissement.

Struttura ubicata a due passi da Piazza Jemaa el-Fnaa, spaziosa, moderna e ben arredata, ma in un posto un po’ nascosto. Piscina molto gradevole, personale gentile e disponibile, colazione ricca e gustosa, presenti molti servizi (transfer aeroporto, taxi, cibo, hammam…). Nel complesso io e le mie amiche siamo molto soddisfatte da questo ottimo soggiorno.

Sejour centre Marrakech

Accueil correct, l accès aux chambres est difficile avec les valises, escaliers etroits, les chambres que nous avons eu trop petites avec des valises mais mignonnes... La clim de la chambre des parents avait du mal à refroidir la chambre ( filtres pas propres) La piscine est petite ,c est juste un petit bassin pour y tremper les pieds. Pas de petit dej au depart car l intendant dormait sur le canape de l entrée Voilà, experience mitigée ...

Riad accessible par une venelle, donne l'impression de vivre comme les locaux. Personnel plutôt bien sympathique, et agréable. Les chambres n'ont pas du tout d'isolation (phonique) surtout au rez de chaussée où il y a du bruit, (accueil, discussion des clients, cuisine). Le service du petit déjeuné est long, mettant souvent en retard pour les excursions matinale.

bon séjour au sein du Riad El Ghali ,en générale c'était bien passé,au niveau de la chambre, la piscine, le petit-déjeuner, et l'accueil, même les personnels et surtout un grand merci à NORDINE ce jeune homme est la cerise sur le gâteau😀

Ferie i medinaen i Marrakech

Super hyggelig riad som ligger meget centralt. Flere dejlige solterrasser. God og venlig service.

El trato muy bueno y el lugar también muy bueno. En la habitación que nos alojamos por la noche se encendía un aparato cada poco tiempo que molestaba a la hora de dormir. El desayuno muy bien muy rico. Cuando nos dieron la factura de taxas de la ciudad nos quedamos alucinados. Tuvimos que pagar 30€ más por servicio de limpieza y otros 30€ por servicio las taxas 25€. Es decir, 85€ más de lo que pensábamos . Y encima no admitía pago con tarjeta y tuvimos que sacar más dinero. Expedia debería de informar que aparte de las taxas (25€), este Riad pide más dinero por el servicio de limpieza y otros servicios. (que no es el minibar)

Beautiful little Riad in the heart of the Medina. Short walking distances to all sightseeings in the old town. Stuff was very helpful and friendly. Would definetly stay here again!

un riad normal, el personal muy bien, la habitacion bien... solo el colchon y las almohadas un poco malas. pero cerca de la plaza, muy buena comunicacion. gracias a todos .

Hôtel situé dans la Médina, donc tout proche du centre, ce qui permet de bien visiter Marrakech. L'équipe de l'hôtel très sympathique Nous avons eu un très bon contact et avons passé une semaine agréable avec soleil et ciel bleu

It was very close to plaza. Nice service, nice pool. But there are no sunbed.. and the room was little smaller than I thought. 제마엘프나 광장이랑 진짜 가깝고, 메디나로 들어오는 입구와도 가까워서, 택시 잡기에도 무척 좋아요. 그런데 이게 약간 구석진 곳에 있어서 처음 찾을때는 헷갈릴 수 있어요.

Riad / hotel excellent. Notre séjour c'est très bien passé. Un personnel prêt à vous rendre service. Un chauffeur pour les visites mis à disposition extraordinaire sur ses connaissance de Marrakech. A 2 pas des souks et de la place Jemaa el Fna. Riad à recommander.

Hôtel charmant, personnel souriant et disponible. Un seul bémol, la chambre que nous avions’ située près de la cuisine, mitoyenne avec des voisins marocains très bruyants....pas idéal pour se reposer ! Dommage....

Nous avons effectué un court séjour dans ce Riad (2 jours) suite à l'annulation d'un Vol. En couple avec un nourrisson. Nous avons été installé dans une chambre qui sentait très fort le renfermé (humidité/moisissure) avec une énorme tache d'humidité au plafond. La belle piscine qui apparaît sur la plupart des photos n'était pas dans le patio sur lequel donnait notre chambre. Elle était dans le Riad d'à côté. En cette période de ramadan, il n'était pas possible d'avoir le petit déjeuner (inclus dans le prix de la chambre) à l'heure du Shour. Décevant pour un Riad au coeur de la médina. La chambre était équipée d'un placard (seul rangement), inutilisable car ils avaient mis une table et un petit canapé devant. Petit moins également pour la communication de la gérante. En effet, lors de la réservation, nous avons demandé si le Riad proposait une navette pour l'aller-retour à l'aéroport. On nous a répondu positivement, sans plus de détails. Jusqu'à ce qu'on nous présente la facture à la fin du séjour. Même le porteur qui nous a accompagné dans la médina pour trouver le Riad était facturé. C'est notre 4e séjour dans des Riads au coeur de la médina et c'est la première fois que je vois ça. Enfin, le jour de notre départ, je suis parti chercher une voiture de location à 10h. L'agence de location (très lente) ne m'a remis le véhicule qu'à 12h15. En attendant, à 12h00 pile ma femme a été invité à quitter la chambre alors que notre bébé dormait. En un mot : décevant

Onhygiënische, donkere kamer met vieze badkamer

Erg kleine en donkere kamer. Het matras lag door. De badkamer was erg vies en oud. Daarnaast kwam er een erg onaangename geur uit. De riad is erg rumoerig. Wij hebben geen oog dicht gedaan door deze factoren en hebben dan ook ons verblijf van 3 nachten afgebroken na 1 nacht. Een officiële klacht zal volgen.

Ce Riad est très bien placé, nous avons été accueillis par un personnel très compétent et gentil.

Adequate accommodation for city trip

+ great location in the city center of Marrakesh, just 5 min away from Djeema el Fna + clean and cozy room + good breakfast - very noisy till late night, which made it hard for us to sleep - "spa" is not recommended (cold, dark room in the basement) - pics of pool are misleading as the pool is located in the neighbor riad (can be accesses and used though)

Sehr schönes Hotel, aber unser Zimmer war zu klein

Dieses Riad hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das zur Verfügung gestellte Zimmer neben der Dachterrasse war aber etwas zu klein.
