The employees from the Riad were amazing, excellent food. The room was very clean and comfort.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Fleur d’Orient! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, giving us tips and recommendations for our stay. The breakfast each morning on the rooftop was wonderful, with coffee, juice, bread, eggs, pastries and more. The location is wonderful and peaceful, yet we were just minutes away from the hustle and bustle. Couldn’t recommend this Riad more!

Getting to the hotel through the dirty alleys with cat poop was not nice. The distance from the main transport was far, we had concerns about safety but it turned out to be quite safe. The staff were very helpful, courteous, and willing to do what was necessary to make our stay a pleasurable one.

Our stay in the Riad was just perfect, better than I could have ever expected. The setting and room was just stunning. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The attention and service from all the staff was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel completely welcome and at home. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a beautiful authentic Riad, the staff were so lovely and helpful at all times. It’s very close to a lot of must see places in the Medina. We stayed in the Sultana room which was spacious and very well presented. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful and well run Riad with great location

Beautiful Riad in a slightly quieter part of the medina, but still an easy 10 mins walk from the hustle and bustle. Lovely authentic rooms and a fabulous roof terrace where breakfast was served. And what a breakfast! Huge variety and a lovely touch was that little things varied from day to day. My wife’s gluten free options were very well catered for too. The small pool on ground floor was a lovely way to cool down after a day in the souks and the decor and lighting was magical. Staff were lovely and super helpful and there was a really nice vibe between the staff with lots of smiles and laughter. Which was lovely to see. It definitely has the family vibe that reflects the running of this Riad. Local shops seemed well stocked and slightly less hectic than the central souk and smiling at locals as we walked around usually generated a beaming smile back.

The property is not your typical property. The area it is in at first glance looks sketchy it’s not. The level of service and just the niceness of the Riads staff is amazing. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to ANY traveler to Marrakech. A wonderful experience.

Riad Fleur D’Orient has been one of my favorite places that I’ve ever stayed at. The property is gorgeous, the staff are amazing, and the location is perfect. I picked this riad because of its other excellent reviews and those reviews were completely accurate. I can’t think of any negatives at all.

It is a really beautiful Riad! In a convenient location inside la Medina. The room was really nice and clean, the yard with the pool is beautiful and peaceful, as the terrace. The staff is really nice, polite, helpful and always happy to talk about Marrakesh! The breakfast is good and generous with eggs, local bread, jams and fruits, mint tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. The orange blossom fragrance was a pleasant surprise in the evening! Definitely hope to come back soon!

Beautiful Riad right in the middle of it all. Would recommend if you want the real Marrakech experience. Lovely rooms and amazing terraces. Ate breakfast on the roof every morning which was lovely two days before Christmas! The staff were so kind and helpful. They organised all our trips and travel from the airport

Charming, peaceful, beautiful riad tucked away down a winding street in the Médina. We had a terrific stay and enjoyed the yummy breakfasts on the terrace and the cool wading pool in the afternoon. Not especially private, however—really feels like an old family house. Very typical and unforgettable expetience!

The service provided by both receptionist went above and beyond what one should expect. Everyone was friendly and extremely accommodating throughout our staying did everything possible to make our stay in Morocco memorable from a positive perspective. They treated us like guests in their home.

Beautiful riad

The riad is very clean, well-decorated and located in a quiet place within walking distance to many places of interest. People working there are very nice and polite. We booked a airport transfer with them (we’d been recommend to do so because the riad is not easy to find for first timers in Marrakech). The receptionist met us at the taxi drop off, led us to the riad, made us mint tea and let us check in early. The room is small but the bed is very comfortable and big enough for two people. They have a cute roof deck where you can relax and smoke hookahs! We’d recommend this riad to everyone visiting Marrakech.

Staff were outstanding in all areas, especially lovely young man who served breakfast. Nice family friendly atmosphere and beautifully clean. It was unfortunate we were not made aware of mo alcoholic drinks in offer as other Riads we went to did have this

Love this family riad!

Beautiful riad right in the medina just a 2-3 minute walk to the souk and 10-15 minutes to the main square. The staff was very helpful in getting excursions booked for us and even made several calls for us when we left an item with a tour company and ensured we were able to retrieve it. They treated us like family and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was our first trip to Marrakech. I had never travelled to a place like this before so I was a little apprehensive. I wasn’t sure if the pictures were true. They were. It was late and we had the most welcoming greeting and were immediately at ease. It is a small Riad with great location in the Medina. It was safe. Had to have a code and ring a doorbell to get in. Staff greeted Ilias with tea and arranged an early breakfast on the patio in front of our room. It was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed two nights. Clean. Eclectic and warm and friendly. If it’s your first time to Marrakech, know the Medina is a maze and taxis can’t drive in you will need to walk to the Riad from the taxi drop off. It is confusing. I had a guide but probably would have been lost if I didn’t.

Beautiful Riad in a perfect location

I highly recommend this Riad. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights and it was lovely. Our room was nice and the daily breakfast was wonderful. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful - it really made our stay special. During our first day, we walked the city with a guide (arranged through the Riad). It was the perfect way to start the trip. A few caveats: The images don't really reflect the rooms...or rather our room "Dar Latifa." The Suite was still very nice but it's not nearly as spacious as the pictures make it seem. Furthermore, hotels.com claims that there is a "Flat-screen TV with cable channels." There is a small monitor that had no access to any local or cable channels. In addition, hotels.com claims that there is room service and a mini bar. This is not the case. In fact, if you do want to have dinner you must let them know by the morning of the day you wish to dine. Everything is fresh, so it makes perfect sense. The listing is just not entirely accurate. Some of the reviews noted that the bed was slightly hard - it is, but it's still comfortable. My one issue was the heating...I tend to run very cold and the heat didn't really work well. Just an FYI if you are booking for one of these amenities. All around, these issues were very minor. We had a lovely time.

The Riad Fleur d'Orient is hidden away down a maze of alleyways & is a gem. Behind the front door is an authentic Moroccan home that has been turned into guest accommodation. The owners & staff were friendly & very helpful, which made our stay extremely enjoyable. Would highly recommend this Riad if you are looking for a more laid back personal Moroccan adventure

10 Nights in Heaven

Where to begin. The Riad Fleur D'Orient is a beautiful Riad located in Medina. Everything about our stay there was perfect, from the fantastic suite, to the infallible staff who constantly went above and beyond our expectations; helping to plan excursions, booking restaurants, offering advice for haggling in the souks and generally being so warm and inviting. The Riad is the perfect oasis away from the busy streets of Marrakech and a wonderful retreat after a day of sight seeing. Beautiful doesn't do it justice.

We had amazing time at Raid. Abdul and latif went out of their way to help us every time from information to everything. We arranged 3 day desert trip from hotel and we must say that was the best thing we did. We would love to come back again in future. It felt like we were coming to home every night than hotel. Cleanliness was on point. The lady who cleaned our rooms impressed us, tidied up everything. Everything about this hotel was best.

Great Riad with excellent service

We stayed in the Riad for four nights and were taken great care of. Picturesque and very relaxing environment. Very good location with touristic attractions just a walk away.

What a wonderful oasis! I’d recommend this Riad to anyone looking to stay in the Médina! We completely enjoyed our stay, the food and service was excellent!

Fabulous Riad in great location within the Medina. Extremely friendly and helpful staff just added to the overall experience. We stayed in the ‘Sultan’ room on the first floor which had a balcony over-looking the inner courtyard and small pool. The wonderfully presented breakfasts, served on the rooftop terrace, were superb. On one evening we took advatage of dinner in the Riad and can only say that this was of the highest quality and is recommended.

The Riad is very nice and peaceful,what truly makes this place unique is the Staff. The whole team was so kind and attentive,Isham specifically made our holiday perfect. Also they do not advertise at all their restaurant facility,the menu is limited but Latifah 's cooking is perfection!!!! Overall the most pleasant experience.

Welcoming & peaceful Riad

Cannot fault our stay at the Riad! We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were treated to a welcome drink and a brief introduction to the city. Extremely helpful staff. Riad is beuatiful and calm making it a perfect retreat after a busy day in the city. Toiletries provided and fresh towels daily. Breakfast on the roof terrace was perfect. Highly recommend this Riad, thank you for making our trip extra special!

Absolutely beautiful.

This is a beautifully appointed riad in a great location. The interior courtyard and swimming pool provide an atmosphere of peace and tranquility seldom found in commercial accommodations. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely

Such a warm and inviting place. The staff were so kind and courteous. The morning breakfast became a ritual and so delicious! Right near the sight seeing of the medina. Definitely a great place to be!! So many Riads to choose from this one should be on the top of your list.

Beautiful surroundings and phenomenal hosts

This was my first time in Marrakesh and honestly I don't think I could have chosen anywhere better to stay. The room was decorated in the local style and really beautiful. Breakfasts where on the rooftop terrace with the option of sitting in the morning sun or plenty of shade. The part of town it is in is non-touristy and although you have stalls and shops nearby you can walk and the marketeers leave you alone - in contrast to the souks where you can expect to be approached to go into the shops, often in quite a "persistent" way (all part of the charm!) Be sure to invest the time in talking to your hosts. They are great. You are really made to feel like one of the family. Also practically they will guide you through where to get things and, most importantly, how much to pay for things - great to have a local guide on how not to get ripped off! In short this place is absolutely lovely and I wouldn't look to stay anywhere else on going back to Marrakesh.

Quaint riad in the center of the Medina

Service was excellent and the staff always worked to meet my needs. They arranged all airport transfers and excursions for me which made my stay exceptionally pleasant. Only downside was the bed was on a concrete base and was hard.

Amazing Staff,Amazing Stay, Some things we learned

This Riad went above and beyond our expectations! The staff did an amazing job making us feel at home and spoiled. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if your stay is long term. The rooms are cozy, air conditioned, and clean. The breakfast was delicious! We are sad we did not get to try the dinner but would guess it would have been just as amazing. Thank you to the Riad and the welcoming staff for an amazing experience! Some advice: 1. Don't worry if they ask for your passport information, this is normal :) 2. Watch out for the boys that try and help you with your suitcases from the street to the Riad. They are NOT at all associated with the hotel and will ask for more and more money but only give them 20 dirhams! Our hotel staff was very helpful in explaining this, although it was too late for us haha. 3. Book excursions through the Riad to avoid being ripped off by outside companies.

Nice and super quaint, in a great area!

This riad was nice and the staff gave us wonderful recommendations for a Hamam, places to eat, map of the city, etc. the upstairs terrace is really nice and the breakfast was yummy! This place is super cute and very cozy! The bed is not super soft but this is one of few places that has king size as an option (we stayed in Sara). They also gave us a great recommendation for a place to take a cab and get super cheap and delicious wines from a local shop! Just a note that they will charge two euros for the map upon check out which wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! They went out of their way to help us in any way we needed. They truly treat you like family!

Small boutique type hotel

Old home renovated into a small hotel. Down a winding walkway, taxis could only find the a nearby intersection, then you had to rely on locals (tip expected) to get you there. Use their transportation from the airport for $24 or take a taxi for $12. Get local currency at an ATM, most businesses take dollars or Euros, but most cheat you by about 15 to 20% on the conversion and charge an extra 5% to use a credit card. Your greeting at the hotel will include a mandatory typical tourist map including advertisements for 2 Euros.

Fleur D'Orient lived up to and even passed our expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive at all times and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was excellent - within the medina walls, very close to the souks and main square.

Fleur D'Orient lived up to and even passed our expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive at all times and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was excellent - within the medina walls, very close to the souks and main square. We did a walking tour of Marrakesh on our first day which helped us get our bearings visiting places like the Bahia Palace, and Katoubia Mosque. We spent another day visiting three valleys, a plateau and lake in the Atlas Mountains which was superb. We walked up to a waterfall and had lunch with a Berber family. Back in Marrakech we enjoyed wandering on our own, visiting the Badii Palace, going on a camel ride in the Palmeraie, and a caleche tour around the medina. It was nice sampling the different foods on offer. All in all it was a great trip.

Good Riad

Very friendly Riad staff, a nice atmosphere and place. The room was tiny and backstreets a bit daunting at night but otherwise all good.

An oasis of calm

Riad Fleur D'Orient was an absolute oasis of calm amidst the chaos and confusion that is Mattakech. We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly, charming and helpful. Our room was stylish and comfortable. The terraces around the pool and on the roof were delightful. One evening we decided to have dinner at the hotel. We had the entire place to ourself. The setting was incredibly romantic. And the food was the best we had on our entire visit. I would gladly recommend this Riad to any of my friends and fellow travellers.

Sejour du 16 mai 2022 au 21 mai .Que dire de l établissement : gentillesse de tout le personnel sans exception, calme sérénité ,superbe terrasses pour les diners et petits déjeuners les chambres y sont superbes tous les espaces y sont très bien tenues nous y avons dîner 2 fois et c était divinement bon (félicitations a la cuisinière)les petits déjeuners étaient excellents.Très bien situé 15 mins a pieds de la place jemaa el fna 25 des jardins de majorelle .Nous recommandons cet établissement ou gentillesse et sourire sont roi .

Trop eloigne de tout dans des ruelles sales et obscures. Nous avons annule les 3 jours restants du sejour!

Came late, Riad was prepared only for us. Had an amazing, amazing experience. Would go back, only for this place.

Supergoede en veilige ligging, in de medina, maar toch weg van het drukke centrum. Eens je de deur van de Riad binnenstapt, kom je in een oase van rust terecht. Eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Kamers zijn schoon. We hebben ook een keer gedineerd in de riad en dat was een heel lekker, Marrokaans menu op het dakterras. Een aanrader!
