The property is neat and clean, and very posh! We had a fantastic experience staying there. The guest manager was very nice and cordial! She was welcoming from the moment we checked-in. She also helped us find Moroccan Black Soap and Nila powder in Marrakech. The area where the Riad is located may not look attractive, but the moment you step inside it’s a whole different experience.
Wonderful staff. Thoughtful amenities. Delicious breakfast.
Karina was an excellent hostess. Warm inviting and always available to assist us during our short stay. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.
A warm and welcoming Riad!
The warm welcome, the special treatment on our anniversary by an up grade and a bottle of champagne and accommodating us for a late check out made our stay very special. Karima made us feel at home immediately and has an infectious smile and energy! Mohammed was helpful, too. Nothing was too much for them! Many thanks!
wonderful staff. very hospitable. scrumptious food. will book again
Beautiful Hospitality next to the Medina
It is hard to express in words just how wonderful the Riad el Hara is. Karima, Mohammad and the rest of her team are extraordinarily helpful, kind, and welcoming. Karima treats you like your are family and checks on you to make sure you feel at home and have what you need to make it the most enjoyable and peaceful stay. The Riad is lovely with authentic the Moroccan and modern comforts. The spa is an oasis to receive traditional and western pampering. I will be very happy to stay here any time I visit Marrakech. The Riad is a short walking distance to the Medina and short taxi ride to lovely restaurants, the train and bus stations.
What an amazing property It is so beautiful, traditional and elegant Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing it’s a bother for them I would stay longer if I could Totally Loved the place and great value for Money
You cannot ask for a better place to stay than Riad El Hara. It is just outside of the Medina. An easy walking distance to key areas of interest and restaurants (especially if you go in the early morning or later in the evening when it’s not too hot). They also arrange for free transport to and from the airport, which is very convenient for those who have never travelled to Marrakech. But what makes Riad El Hara special aside from its beautiful interior rooms and garden courtyard is their amazing staff led by the lovely Kareema. She exemplifies Moroccan hospitality. Being greeted by Kareema is like being welcomed home by the most nurturing family member that you never want to leave. In fact, if you wanted to just stay at the riad you would have the most relaxing and pampered experience with delicious breakfast and dinners, as well as hammam and massage experiences. Thank you to Kareema and everyone for making our first and last night in Morocco an unforgettable experience 💗
Karima is a girl's name of Arabic origin, meaning "generous or giving." It is a feminine form of Karim or Kareem. Thanks for everything, see you soon
Mohammed met us late at night with tea and cookies now taking us to our room. So welcoming! Room was clean and charming. Terrace lovely, too. Sup stay!
Did not stay long enough to fairly rate surrounding property area.
The best hospitality I’ve ever experienced, wow!
Wow is all I can say. This hotel/riad is the most accommodating and welcoming place I have ever stayed. I cannot believe how amazing and caring the staff are, especially Karima and Ali who helped us far beyond they needed to. Ali even went and got us our bus tickets to go to our next location. He also helped me order food when we were too ill to leave the riad. Karima is a warm, friendly host who makes everyone feel like family. All the staff are really. Our bedroom was stunning, with so many lovely extras such as water everyday, chocolates, nuts etc. they go the extra mile for their guests. The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful to look at. The breakfast was different every day which was great as we got to try different Moroccan foods. I just can’t recommend this riad enough. You have to stay here if you’re coming to Marrakech.
This was our first trip to Marrakech. So many riads to choose from, however, looking at previous reviews we selected El Hara. I have to say we were.not disappointed. Once the booking had been made, we received a welcome message from staff at El Hara. Any questions i raised prior to our trip were responded to quickly, with relevant useful information. We opted for the collection from and too the airport and was worth it. Once at El Hara, we recejved a friendly welcome. The place is beautiful and we had our first introduction to mint tea during the booking in process. Our room was large, pleasent and importantly very comfortable. The breakfasts were varied and certainly kept you going for the day. The staff ... everyone was very pleasent and nothing was too much. All tne small staff team appeared genuinly happy to be there and this gave a feeling of family, which you were made to feel part off. In this business staff are there to make your stay easy, so they have to give a certain impression but at El Hara you never felt this way. You felt you were tneir personal guests or family and made to feel so. The location was great, opposite the walls to Medina with an entry point a short walk away. All the areas you would want to visit are within walking distance. Any excursions further afield can be arranged via staff at El Hara. The only complaint, is that we had to return to the real world of a cold March in the UK at the end of our stay. I would highly recommend El Hara.
Beautiful Risd with Hige Room
Beautiful ex palace now a Risd Hotel. Breakfast is served at top floor enclosed terrace with view, very good set up. Food is traditional Morroccan carefully prepared. Room is huge and modern. I would give it a 5 if they do answer their phone while we were struggling looking for its location inside an alley with no street sign and a very small hotel plate.
We booked Riad El Hara based from all the excellent reviews online and we were not disappointed. From the staff, cleanliness, property condition, amenities and everything else all were Excellent. Karima and Muhammad welcomed us like we were family coming home, Ali arranged our transport from pick up from a different riad and transfer to airport. Staff very accommodating, easy to communicate. We had the Bacha room very spacious, bathroom and shower very clean. We arrived noontime and ordered lunch while waiting for our room to be ready, beef and lamb tajine were all delicious, as well as breakfast. Thank you so much Karima and your staff, we had a very lovely stay. Our only regret is we only booked a short stay in this riad. Karen
Perfect!
We were really excited to stay at Riad el Hara after reading the faultless reviews and it really exceeded all expectations! The team are fantastic - there for anything you need and extremely approachable. I would highly recommend the location for ease of access and exploration of the city. All services offered by the Riad are great, including delicious food and very convenient airport transfer. It was a really luxurious stay, but on an attainable budget, and we would love to visit again. Thanks so much!
Very good Riad with clean and spacious rooms and great service. Very attentive and friendly staff. Location is also very good, right across the street from Medina. Would definitely stay here again
The BEST Riad in Marakech
I have traveled to over 40 countries and never have I been treated so well and valued as a customer. I was received by the Riad manager. Carima, and she welcomed us like family. We sat down in the family area and shared tea and we received a most interesting history of the Riad and the city of Marakeck. She introduced us to our room which spacious and very welcoming. The decor was exquisite and the size and comfort most welcoming. We never felt cramped and the quietness of the Riad, and specifically our room made our nights very restful. Two employees of the Riad, Ali and Mohammed went out of their way to make us feel like family and they were available whenever needed some form of support. In one occasion our scheduled tour guide with a US based touring company did not arrive as scheduled, nor advised us he wasn't coming, Ali quickly contacted someone he knew (abdul) and we ended have the best tour of the city and his knowledge of the Moroccan history only enhanced our appreciation of the country and its people. If you ever decide to go to Marakech, this is the place to stay. It's close to everything important within the city and once you enter the gates of the Riad, you enter another world full of calm, quiet and extraordinary people. We felt like we left our home when it was time to return to the US.
Excellent Riad!
I could not be more complimentary of Riad El Hara. The Riad is a beautiful place and is located conveniently right outside one of the main gates into the medina and near the Majorelle Gardens. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff there could not be more friendly and helpful. My wife and I and some friends were in Marrakech for a wedding, and the Riad staff arranged all of our transportation to various locations outside the city, back and forth to the airport, as well as other more typical activities, such as a cooking class. They made the visit very easy and enjoyable and made us feel like family. We would highly recommend.
