Pretty riad, staff is friendly, location walkable and safe, breakfast included. Sometimes they play loud music on the third floor restaurant, but by 11am is usually off. Hot water tank is small, and run out of hot water after few minutes Had a great time.I would recommend 👌
This riad/hotel is a gem. It has a gorgeous interior and is incredibly good value for money. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially the receptionist. I can't recommend this place enough!
Les odeurs de remontee des eaux usees sont tres desagreable dans la chambre, il faut absolument regler ce probleme.
A Magical place to stay within the Medina
I had the most wonderful stay at Riad Daria This used to be a Palace and it looks like on The staff were so warm and friendly. They could not do enough to make my stay more comfortable As a Solo Traveller I found Riad Daria the perfect place to spend a long weekend About 20 minutes walk to Jemm elf na .but so much more to see as well within this Kasbah quarter Felt so safe everywhere Thank You to all At Riad Daria Kind Regards Alan Suite Diaa
Sublime
We loved this hotel. It is beautiful, the staff and the service were wonderful, they were spoiling us since the moment we got in until the moment we left. There is a restaurant/bar on the roof and the food and service was great. My husband and I enjoyed a session of spa (Hammam and relaxing massage) and we enjoyed it very much. The owner is in constant communication with us though WhatsApp, making sure we get everything we need, tours and recommendations included. We would definitely go back
The staff were super attentive and helpful. The riad was beautiful and well kept. We ate at the restaurant and were extremely impressed!
5 🌟 Riad
An amazing beautiful Riad, with fantastic service from start to finish. Breakfasts where huge too. Walking distance from all the resturants souks etc . This riad serves alcohol
Lovely riad
We had a warm greeting, Mariam and Marwan were incredibly hospitable. The room was adorable and we ate dinner that night on the roof, delicious. We left super early the next the morning but the young clerk ( didn’t catch his name) took such good care of us. He brought down our luggage, prepared a light breakfast and walked us to the pick up spot for the safari. I mean who even does that????? The only negatives were we booked a massage and scrub at the riad and it was sooooooo cold it was not enjoyable, I asked about heat in room and they said yes but there wasn’t,nor in the shower ( outside temp was cold- high 50s, also we didn’t know there was heat in the room and so we were chilly all night (I guess that’s on us- didn’t ask but couldn’t find a thermostat. Would still recommend - ask how to heat room and don’t get massage in winter.
If need to get some experience then stay otherwise waste of money

Superb Riad, great location. Very friendly efficient staff.
Absolutely loved our stay. The riad is close by to the mosque so its easy to fins your way back even if you have a bad sense of orientation. Its in the middle of the medina ao you can visit loads and not even have to get a taxi to go visit places in Morocco The breakfast is AMAZING and the staff were wonderful, so polite and so accommodating. They speak both English and French. They arranged for taxi collection from airport which made it a lot hastle free. The riad itself is beautiful, we were lucky with the weather as it was sunny all week at the begining of december. They have a lovely terrace which we used to sunbave on our off days. You can see the Atlas mountains in the distance. There is a pool downsyairs near the lobby area but i was not brave enough to use it as its very open to the rest of the riad. The room is nice and spacious, bathroom on suite was brill, my partner is very tall (6'5) and was happy with the height of it as usually that is a problem, but here it was great. Honestly 10 out of 10, great place and very good value for money.
Beautifully presented riad tucked away in a quiet corner of the city, but within walking distance of all the attractions. Staff were all fantastic and helpful making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We will be back!
High recomendations
Super nice place - kind and helpfull staff
I don’t know where to start because this place was beyond amazing. Let me start with the staff. They were soooooooooooooooooooo nice and welcoming. No matter what I needed they had it and went the extra mile. The location was great. Everything was walking distance and very safe. The food at the riad was delicious. Breakfast and dinner! I regretted not eating there more because even their salad was delicious. The Royal salad that is. And they served tea almost everyday and they had the best tea in Marrakech in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and they had hot water. I really enjoyed my time in Marrakech and Riad Daria made it worth while. I plan on coming back and if I do I’m booking them again. Oh before I go please try their spa. It’s an amazing experience.
Lovely Riad.
Lovely Riad with a roof top restaurant which we used for our one night stay as there was a thunderstorm. Naema gave a relaxing massage and scrub in the onsite hamman which was one of the highlights of our trip. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended.
The place was nice but could have been cleaner.
We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Riad- we loved the original features of the property- the woodwork, decorative stonework was stunning. The decor was authentic and very welcoming and comfortable. We had all the facilties we needed and it was great o relax in the pool when it was too hot to go out. The staff were amazing and looked after us very well. If we needed anything rhey were always there to help and provided the best service. The managers Mariam and Marwaan were brilliant as well as Ali who served us with a wonderful breakfast every morning on the patio area outside our room. He would cater for our needs and even provide us with an earlier breakfast if needed. Overall we had a great experience at the Riad and the location was perfect as it was in walkable distance to many historical places of interest and the square near the mosque were we would sit mist evenings after having been out or returning from the souks. Just near the Riad there were many wonderful food shops and juice bars - we would highly recommended eating from around the Riad as it was great value for money especially the places with their own barbecue style cookers. My husband tried one of the local barbers and had a wonderful experience there. There are ample places to buy souvenirs too- basically everywhere you need is on your doorstep literally at this Riad in the Kasabah. A highly recommended place to stay indeed. Thankyou to all the staff at the Riad Daria for making our stay memorable.
Riad Daria was a quiet and beautiful oasis. The bed were comfortable. The view was into the beautiful courtyard. The whole staff was very nice and always ready to help, answer questions. The breakfast was amazing.Right outside the Riad we immersed into the huzzle and buzzle of Marrakech. The souks were about 15 minute walking distance, some historic visiting sight were a little closer. We loved the Zeitoun Cafe which was about a 10 minute walk away. We loved our stay and were glad that we didn’t stay in the souk area.
Worst stay in Morocco out of 4 hotels in 3 cities
we booked the most expansive suite and it is far from what it looked in pics. Its dated and mosquito killer stink is very significant. for all the connected rooms there was one small AC that didnt work. Look elsewhere.
A very charming and beautiful riad, Riad Diara represents the spirit of a boutique hotel. The localization is convenient, and the breakfast buffet is lovely and generous (unfortunately, we wasted some food); The rooms are clean and comfortable. And they were flexible for check-in/out. The staff is very professional and efficient. The bathroom would benefit from some white light, as our room was on the ground floor, and the shade that keeps the room cool during a heatwave is not ideal for makeup prep. And thanks to the location, after meeting some friends at Cafe Clock and losing track of time, it was easy to jump into a cab to go to the airport (15 minutes drive) for only 80 MAD.
Best customer service
Hotel amazing, best customer service friendly staff, food exceptional, and very clean.
Beautiful property with a wonderful helpful staff. I would come back to Marrakech just to stay here. Met the owner, a most delightful gentleman dedicated to preserving the originality of the Riad.
Excellent- but don’t expect to park at hotel
Well located to visit all the main sites through walking or taxi (we walked 99% of the time). The location and ambiance is perfect as it’s on a narrow and hence quiet street. Rooms cool, air conditioned and typically road style with central courtyard. My only caveat is that if you are driving yourself as we did DO NOT follow any mapping app as they will accurately take you there, but you can’t park there and you’ll be driving down some very crowded streets in the old town. Instead, there is a large parking area about 4 blocks away. My advice if you are driving is to call the hotel in advance and ask about the parking area so you can avoid this aspect of staying there.
The is a wonderful property! The staff are amazing attending to your every need. The roof top restaurant was very good and a welcome change after eating nothing but Tajine and couscous for 15 days. They serve delicious french food in addition to the Moroccan favs. If you are looking to stay inside the Medina you will likely crave a place to get away from the chaos, the dust snd the smells of everyday life there. This is the place!
Excellent hotel
Wow what a beautiful place . From our first day we were made so very welcome by Ibrahim and all of the other staff , nothing was too much for them . The hotel is so interesting and comfortable too , very clean . So interesting to find out the history of the building too . We eat breakfast each morning which we really enjoyed , a great start to each day . I couldn’t recommend this Riad more . I would definitely go back again if I ever find myself in Marrakesh. Many thanks to everyone for making my holiday so special
The staff was excellent. Warm people always willing to help with a smile without being pushy, where in Marrakech is hard to find.
An oasis within Marrakesh
The Riad is beautiful and comfortable. I had a Hammam/massage package at the Spa - it was really excellent. The food in the restaurant is very good. But the highlight of the stay was the staff - they were so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at Riad Daria and will definitely go back
Great neighborhood, felt good to be away from Medina. Fatima and Abdul were professional. Breakfast was top-notch. The property felt a step above other riads in regards to the staffing and overall feel of things.
My first time in a Riad, l loved the whole experience. The staff were all very friendly, warm and pleasing. The breakfast was good and always inviting. My message and hammam by Naama was superb, it was such a wonderful and an amazing experience. Lots of care, love and attention.
Ok this is a historical property amazing decorated and traditional in the medina beautiful courtyard amazing mosaics in room but no modern things like tv in room gym or things like that so u know. The food not great u have better choices Outside of course it is marraketch!!! Staff really helpful and super nice but anything u like must be cash which is not acceptable credit cards are required !!! I am amex platinum hilton gold holiday spire elite and highest level in Marriott be here without issues it is safe for families and well kept it belonged before to moroccan royal family!!! I love it but lack of credit card pissed me off honestly i lost my points. No air conditioning just open windows heater inside next to bed nice experience i might be back but if u expecting amenities then u will hate this place so it is not ur cup of tea remember it is a historic location thus nothing modern and it is truly beautiful . For couples remember everything is heard keep that in mind :)
The roof top terrace was lovely and the breakfast great. Fantastic that they had heaters for the winter - because other places didn’t and it gets very chilly. Some rooms are nicer and better kept than others - not sure ours was their finest. There was an interconnecting door with the room next door which nobody mentioned until the guest next door was rattling it, trying to figure out where it led to! I wish the airport transfer price was more reasonable... the airport is not far so it felt like we were being ripped off. Overall, it’s a nice place, lots of seating areas to relax if you want to. They offered to serve beer or wine which was a nice option. And the area near BabbAgnou is lively.
The hotel itself is beautiful and well-situated, while the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. I cannot recommend the Riad Daria enough for anyone staying in Marrakesh!
The staff are amazing. They will make you feel at home and always happy to assist you.
We as a family stayed here for 5 days and to put it simply it was a wonderful stay . This riad is a hidden gem in a quiet location but close to the busy parts of Médina which is walkable . The staff was very kind, polite and more than accommodating . Rooms are very beautiful and the whole place is constantly kept clean , breakfast very nice on the terrace. I would recommend this place without hesitation .. B from the Uk ( Birmingham )
Quiet refuge in proximity to a lively area, about 15-20 minutes walk from the main marketplace. Beautiful courtyards with multiple private sitting areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast wherever you wish to take it in the Riad. Would definitely return to this beautiful place!
This Riad is stunning. Like a 5 star hotel. The staff were exceptional. Courteous and so helpful.
Fantastic Riad and staff, away from the hustle
Fantastic welcoming staff, good location - 10 min walk to centre, great room, lovely Riad.
Was really nice expirience to stay in that place. Highly recommend to others.
Riad Daria defines hospitality.
I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped into the riad. Abdul ushered us into the living area and served us mint tea. The team led by Sobha went out of their way to make every day of my stay special. They care about everything they do whether it be serving breakfast or organising a tour, Riad Daria contributed to my enjoyment of the imperial city.
Lovely, quiet riad on the edge of the Kasbah...
Simply put, this was the best hotel experience of my life. I've traveled to a number of countries on five continents, and I've never been taken care of like I was at Riad Daria. The manager, Sobha, is a total rock star. She anticipates every need before you can mention it. Her attention to detail is superb, as is the case with every staff member. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. We very much enjoyed mint tea in the homey reception salon, copious breakfasts in the gorgeous courtyard, postcard writing in the common room, starry evenings on the rooftop, and personal cooking classes and massages on-site. The Riad Daria is in a quiet neighborhood, just a 10-12 minute walk from the main square. There are several very lovely restaurants and cafes close, the Clock Cafe being a highlight. This is the perfect hotel for any traveler looking for luxury, respite, or both.
Great Riad, Quiet, Easy Location & Great Decor
The Riad was great from the staff to location to decor. It gave us the best of Marrakech to stay in an area which is fairly busy with locals, but is so peaceful and tranquil once you enter the Riad. It was great to sit under the orange trees and relax next to the fountain with some tea, and to have a candlelit dinner on the upstairs terrace with a beautiful Marrakech sky view. Location is very good. Its easy to walk to the main sites, about 10 minute walk from the Moulay Al Yazid mosque. Once you know your way around you can actually walk up to the main square in the centre of the city without a problem. We walked back between the alleyways at 11pm without any issues or safety concerns either. The locals are in full force including children simply enjoying the fresh air at night so the Riad was a great location.
Oasis of calm
Excellent place to stay. Very friendly helpful staff. Superb food! Location not too far from main square. Riad is an oasis of calm compared to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
riad Daria in Marrakesh
This a beautiful riad. It is magnificently renovated giving a very peaceful ambience. The hospitality was very kind the only problem was trying to find it. Fortunately we had a driver who had good nerves and was able to keep asking for directions
highly recommended place in marrakesh
Very Cozy house and close to alfana square. Very friendly stuff and helpful and provide a delicious food (BF is usually included with the booking and you might request lunch or dinner which is prepared by morrocan ladies). We tried Refeissa and marrakesh tangenah and was very delicious and the BF includes a verity of morrocan food. Very nice house decorated with a morrocan style and provide a home feeling and an excellent place for relaxation. The weather in july was hot and you might visit marrakesh and stay in this hotel on other timing. We stayed for two nights and I wish that I stayed for one more night. A close by Spa with a good prices and the reception can arrange the appointment for you. A small swimming pool in the middle of the house with a refreshing water. The house has 5 rooms and 2 sweets and you might request a room in the upper floor which has an AC. The rooms in the ground floor has no AC. a very nice place for a big family who could book the full house and enjoy the privacy. Also, you might visit the house and have a delicious morrocan food or arrange for yoga classes or other activities not necessarily to stay there. You might ask the reception for further details.
Lovely stay.
Lovely riad and convenient location in the medina within walking distance to jemaa l fna but not too close. Personalised service and staff very nice.
Absolutely beautiful
We were celebrating my boyfriends 30th birthday, the Riad was absolutely perfect! The entire Riad is beautifully decorated and feels extremely calm in the hustle and bustle of the Kazba. The staff were faultless. They were always available to help and never encroached on our space. They were happy to make breakfast for whatever suited us which felt very personal. We would definitely go back.
Well placed in La Kasbah old city near souks etc
The hotel is as the pictures, delightful with lots of interesting spaces. Staff made sure we were warm and comfortable. Very obliging - a good stay

Its really a beautiful Riad and the staff were always eager to help. The breakfast was great with new menu choices everyday and ready to accommodate any requests.
