Beautiful Riad Service was excellent and the staff was very friendly! The place was clean and the patio was beautiful Also in a great part of the Medina

Underwhelming

Honestly it was a bit underwhelming. I booked this stay due to missing my flight so I didn't really look too much into it but if I had to stay longer than the 1 night I did, I'd look elsewhere. Started off with the manager/owner unable to even locate my booking (understandable as I'd only booked an hour ago), but insinuated I wouldn't be staying there tonight, even though I showed him the booking confirmation on my end multiple times. Eventually found it and gave me the spare room on the bottom floor. Room itself has no AC, just a single very bright bulb hanging from the ceiling, and is right next to the office which plays music until 10PM. It was okay to get through just the 1 night I needed, but the breakfast was extremely underwhelming for 3 EUR... When I asked for an omelette my reject was declined, to which I requested a boiled egg, and was told there is no eggs in breakfast, just 0.30 cent bread and a few different spreads. Overall experience was just a bit below average in my opinion, there is significant room for improvement.

This was the worst experience the hotel had no fan or AC in the hotel in the 40 degree heat. Also charge you high prices for transport so be aware and use transport else where and not from the people from this hotel

We paid 20 Euro to be taken to the hotel, I suggest you do the same or you won't find it. We had to wait for half an hour before we were picked up. On our arrival the reception by Jawad was fantastic, the staff were also great. But and this is a big but, the hotel is extremely basic. It is situated in the middle of Medina which is a plus. There was no AC in 32 plus temperature it had a fan which was very loud. If you are planning to stay more than a night I suggest choose somewhere outside of the Medina and make sure it meets your basic needs.

The hotel states that there is 24 hour front desk service but the hotel did not open when I arrived at midnight because of the night bus. The gate was locked. No one responsed to the door bell and no one answered the phone calls. All I could do is to standing on the street for over a hour to wait and at last I still could not check in. I had to find another hotel immediately and it was a nightmare.

Don't judge a book by its cover

The facade outside is dirty and dusty but the inside Courtyard of the actual Hotel is an Oasis. BEWARE after paying the owner tried to pawn me off on his neighbor / brother into Anna Jason Riad have a different name that stank to high heaven of cat urine. INSIST I'm staying in the Riyadh Carol that is shown in the photos

The riad is lovely and the hosts are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is absolutely delicious! Very well located in Medina, easy to get to anywhere. We had a minor misunderstanding with the room when we arrived, as we had booked one type of room and were given a different kind, but it was sorted quickly. All in all, a positive experience.

Very welcoming

We were made to feel like we were at home It's not a five star but the excellent communication made up for everything. I would stay there again anytime

Incredibly disappointing!

Arrived at noon and we were asked to wait 5 minutes and have tea. All three staff members doasaleared for over an hour! We called through the building, knocked on the door, tried calling the hotel and got nothing. Eventually I went searching through the building to find them watching tv. The woman told me that apparently her co-worker (not one of the other 3 people on site) who does the check ins never showed up and I would have to wait. She gave us no indication of this before! She didn't tell us anything about the situation- just left us in the lobby. We were incredibly frustrated! We were in the process of booking another room when they finally let us in- and out of sheer exhaustion from our travel and desperation to get out of the room we took the room. Big mistake. The room was mouldy, musty and damp, one towel was putrid, the other smelled less bad but was covered in stains. The hot water didn't work for a shower in the evening. The room was so cold that we we woke up to dig through our bag for extra layers at night. I put a filter on my Expedia search looking for places with breakfast included, and yet after waiting an hour in the morning we were told that breakfast was not included. This place stinks! They didn't even have a map to give us of the city! So when we finally got out of the riad, we had no idea where to go. None of the staff tried to help us at any point, they hardly even spoke to us. Don't be fooled by the pretty patio, this place is not worth your time

It was a pleasat stay!!

Just about ok

Do not expect to get everything that is in the add. There is no pool, no spa, the showers are without hot water and with almost no pressure. No reception or lobby to talk about and no snackbar. In one week no one ever cleaned my room. They did however have a good breakfast, easy transfer for the airport and cold beers for sale!

La habitación era muy grande y fresca, a pesar de que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, pero no fue necesario usarlo. Aunque el hotel está en una calle ruidosa, desde dentro no se oye absolutamente ningún ruido. Tiene un patio precioso con muchas plantas, espacios para sentarse y mesas, también había una familia de pajaritos, acostumbrados a la gente, que venían muy cerca cuando les daba pan. Ellos alegraban el ambiente con sus trinos. En general fue una estancia agradable para mi y volvería de nuevo. También tiene servicio de recogida y traslado al aeropuerto. Esta muy bien localizado y hay muchos restaurantes, tiendas y mercados en el,área.

L'hébergement ne correspond pas du tout a la description, aucun entretien pendant notre séjour, pas de serviettes, ni produits d'entretien alors que c'est compris, la chasse d'eau disfonctionne il faut utiliser un seau d'eau équipements vétustes et présence de cafards et la moitié des lumières ne fonctionnent pas. Difficile aussi de prendre une vraie douche...Les photos ne sont pas contractuelles ne correspondent pas du tout a l'état actuel de l'établissement. Très mauvaise expérience je recommande pas du tout

Décor sympathique

Riad très sympathique et tres colorés. Bien protéger de la chaleur et du bruits de la rue passante ce qui fait un lieu très calme. Il faudrait que se lieu soit mieux indiqué par une affiche par exemple. La literie est a changer et un peux de rénovation ne ferai pas de mal.

Αριστη σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής, τέλειοι άνθρωποι!

Το ριαντ είναι πανέμορφο, με εξαιρετική διακόσμηση, το προσωπικό είναι φιλικότατο και έτοιμο να σε βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειαστείς. Ρώτησα τον διευθυντή πού ψωνίζει τα σεντόνια του γιατί ήταν πολύ απαλά και εκείνος δεν μας είπε απλά ποιό μαγαζί είναι, αλλά μας πήγε με το αυτοκίνητο του! Μέχρι πού προσφέρθηκε να μας παει στο αεροδρόμιο όταν επιστρέψουμε ξανά στο Μαρρακές απο τις υπόλοιπες πολεις που θα δούμε, αν δεν βρούμε ταξί εύκολα, μιας και θα φτάσουμε στην πόλη 2 η ωρα το πρωί και θα κατευθυνθούμε αμέσως προς το αεροδρόμιο! Οι άνθρωποι του ριαντ ειναι εξαιρετικοί. Το μονο που θα χρειαζόταν ειναι μια ανακαίνιση στο μπάνιο, αλλά κατα τα άλλα ηταν εξαιρετική επιλογή για ενα ζευγάρι με 3 παιδιά οπως εμείς. Μείναμε 3 νύχτες και η σχέση ποιότητας -τιμής είναι επίσης άριστη!

Riad centrale, il proprietario molto disponibile ci ha aiutato in ogni modo,abbiamo anche cenato spesso da lui cucina molto buona... non è il massimo della pulizia ma ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo ... ho letto altre recensioni dove si lamentano di assenza carta igienica e acqua fredda ... noi abbiamo sempre avuto acqua calda ed eravamo 4 adulto e 5 bambini e la carta igienica non è mai mancata .... nel riad disponibilità anche di bevande birre e vino.

Le Riad en lui lême la situation géographique pittoresque mais il nécessiterait un rafraichissement

La zona de ubicación es fea. Aunque caminando esta 15 minutos de la plaza central. Es difícil de llagar, solo casi imposible y tiene un cartel muy pequeño. La habitación es pequeña vieja con olor a humedad y un baño pequeño y con olor desagradable. La patio interno del riad es lo más bonito.

Riad authentique avec de beaux restes. Propriétaire correct sans plus. Proprete, service du petit dejeuner, chambre le tout limite limite. Ne le conseilllerai pas à des amis

Le directeur du ryad est disponible. Très sympa. Le seul bémol un manque de propreté pour les chambres car nous avons remarqué que les draps n étaient pas changer automatiquement. Sinon petit déjeuner correct pour le prix et calme des lieux malgré le quartier très t bruyant.

Riad poco recomendable.

No volvería al riad Carol. Nos costó un poco encontrar el riad (nos ayudó un niño que estaba jugando por la calle) y la entrada esa un pasillo bastante oscuro. El hall/recepción de primeras llama mucho la atención y no esperar algo así con ese pasillo tétrico de bienvenida. La habitación era extraña, grande pero muy extraña, muy sucia (muy), con poca luz, sin espejos tan solo uno para “verte” la cara. El desayuno escaso y no bueno. El dueño del ríad es muy majo, fue amable en todo momento y se ofreció a llevarnos en al aeropuerto. (Lo único positivo). Y

Au centre de la Medina

En plein centre de la Medina. A 10minutes des souks et de la place. Très sollicités par les mendiants. Riad ayant besoin d un rafraîchissement. Mais bon accueil et très bon prix. Propositions d excursions à 20 eu par personne. Recommandé pour visiter le Maroc à ceux qui ne veulent ou ne peuvent pas se ruiner pour autant.

Personnel sympa mais niveau confort des chambres c est très limité .

Établissement sale (urine de chat), chambres sombres, rarement de l'eau chaude, pas de ménage dans la chambre durant le séjour, terrasse peu accueillante. Notre hôte était cependant très disponible et arrangeant. Bien situé. Beaucoup de choses à revoir pour mettre en valeur ce riad typique.

Mal situado .nos cobraron desayuno al entrar y el peor que he visto nunca.nos vendieron escursion 2 dias a zagora y lo peor por trato y te llevan a ver aceites un antro del cine y timados al comer donde tienen comision , sin poder elegir. Y sin ver los pueblos despues de andar 7 horas en furgoneta

Nous n'avons pas pu rester dans ce riad insalubre

Chambre sans fenetre, mauvaise odeur, pas de salle de bain, saleté, nous ne sommes pas restés et avons du louer une chambre ailleurs.

Riad mit Potential im Armenviertel der Altstadt

Leider fühlte sich der Vermieter nicht an Absprachen gebunden. Das gebuchte Zimmer war vergeben.Die zunächst angebotene Alternative war eine Kammer auf dem Dach ohne funktionierenden Wasseranschluss, die Eingangstür war ein defekter Bretterverschlag mit Vorhängeschloss. Nach Protest wurden wir in das einzige noch freie Zimmer, ein dunkler Raum mit 2 Glühbirnen - alleridngs funktionierendem Wasseranschluss - einquartiert. Der Raum war extrem schmutzig, die Matratzen durchgelegen, der Bettbezug aufgerissen; weder Handtücher noch Toilettpapier waren selbstverständlich, Gegenständer vorheriger Mieter lagen in den Ecken. Eine Zimmerreinigung hatte das Zimmer offensichtlich lange nicht gesehen, Der Mietbetrag wurde sofort nach Ankunft vom Manager abkassiert- danach wurde er nicht mehr gesehen. Wir mussten eine andere Unterkunft suchen - und zusätzlich bezahlen. Dieses Riad sollte unter der derzeitigen Leitung aus dem Program genommen werden.

Vervallen glorie

Dit Riad lijk top de foto's heel redelijk voor de prijs, maar ik kan niemand aanraden hier te verblijven. Ondanks dat de eigenaar vriendelijk en behulpzaam is, zoals in andere recencies te lezen valt, is dit Riad echt aan renovatie toe. Waar te beginnen: de gemeenschappelijke patio beneden is authentiek maar overal kapot wat nogal treurig oogt, oude vervallen meubels en verschraalde kleedjes, overal schilfers verf die van de muren bladdert, op de tafels en bankjes ligt het gruis, het hele huis riekt naar katten urine, er lopen veel katjes rond, en doordat de deuren alleen d.m.v. een hangslot dicht kunnen blijft er altijd een kier waardoor er bij ons 's avonds katten op het bed lag te slapen toen we thuiskwamen. De kamer had geen verwarming, het was erg koud 's nachts en de electrishe verwarming die we vervolgens kregen deed het niet. De douche deed het meestal niet want de druk was te laag als er iemand anders douchte, en ook als er 3 druppels uit kwamen was het ijskoud. Gelukkig konden we naar een hamman in de buurt om enigzins schoon te blijven. De familie woont hier ook en onze kamer lag op het dak waardoor we eerst drie verdiepingen omhoog moesten door gangen zonder licht ( kapot ) ook de gloeilamp die aan een draadje aan de muur hing zag er niet bepaalt veilig uit, zeker niet als je er zoals wij met een klein kind verblijft.

Présentation fausse du lieu, état de vétusté très avancé. Lieu non entretenu et sans propreté. Chambre au plafond très bas (1.90 m) et mal éclairée non chauffée, Couchage sans rapport avec la présentation. Literie douteuse. Salle de toilette plus que rustique sans aucun équipement. A éviter même si les staff sculptés sont intéressants

Hotel gut gelegen, nahe Medina. Schwierig zu finde

Wir haben wenig Zeit im Riad verbracht, da es nicht gepflegt wirkt und auch das Personal eher unfreundlich war. Der Aufenthalt in Marrakech war trotzdem super und wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Es gibt Vieles zu entdecken und zu sehen. Die Medina liegt nahe beim Riad und ist zu Fuss erreichbar was ein grosser Vorteil ist. Spannende und beeindruckende Kultur, voller Farben, toller Architektur und gastfreundlichen Menschen.

eso no es un hotel ni un riad

por haber frecuentado un riad a marrakech, CAROL no tiene nada que ver y de muy lejos, llegamos tarde el 19 de febrero a la fecha prevista por causa de controles de frontera, nadie nos esperaba, y si no fuera por ua persona que os acompano esa noche dormimos en la calle porque nadie contestaba. al dia siguiente decidimos irnos para buscar un sitio mas limpio y agradable porque lo que encontramos en ese riad era insalubre total y encontrmos alojamiento en el riad Marrakech en que le puedo monstrar la factura por tres noches martes, miercoles, y jueves. no le puedo ajuntar fotos pero cuado las saque de mi camara se las madare para que costaten lo que le estoy escribiendo y que no exajero cordial saldo Mr Perez Ferron Feliciano

Huono hotelli

Huoneessa epämiellyttävä haju, ovi ei aukea ellei siirrä huoneen sisäpuolella mattoa pois, wc/kylpyhuone erotettu vain osittaisella seinämällä muusta huonetilasta, ei naulakkoa vaatteille, ainoastaan yksi ruuvi seinässä, pistorasia irti, hana tippui koko ajan eikä voinut kiristää koska oli irti lavuaarista, pesuaineet jo muiden käyttämät, ei lämmintä vettä eikä lämmitystä, lämpötila +5 astetta, ei lisäpeitettä, aamiainen ei ollut varattuna aikana, henkilökuntaa heräteltiin (klo 8.30), henkilökuntaa ei paikalla kun halusimme myös aamiaisen jälkeen kirjautua ulos. Huone maksettu muutamalta yöltä, jätimme avaimen ja vaihdoimme toiseen hotelliin.

Et stort rum med 5 senge 6 senge, badeværelse havde et stort hul direkte ind til køkkenet, ingen sæbe, “dynerne” var nussede velourtæpper. Vi fik en lillebitte varmelampe på efterspørgsel.
