Nice place to stay and handy location
Clean.
Nice central location. Clean place. Very limited breakfast.
Really nice staff and convenient location in the middle of the Medina. One small complaint - I have a very strict “ no shoes rule “ in my room or wherever I stay and upon showing us our space the host just walked around the room and even into our shower with their shoes on. Little odd but not enough to be an issue. They had an AC unit in room which is always a plus!
In the heart of the Medina...
Location was excellent, we find the floor of our room a bit dirty. Overall it was a comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly.
I love the place and staffs, my stay was awesome at Marrakech.
Difficult to find but once you know where it is then you realise how convenient it is to see everything in the old town. Rooms were spacious and the breakfast was good.
Marrakesh Baby
The room was beautiful and well worth the upgrade and views from the terrace were amazing.
I can’t say enough good things about Riad Andalla! This is a beautiful Riad just off the market. It was quiet and had a beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast (included) and supper (extra). The staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
Riad Andalla is a gem! Tucked away in an alley in the heart of the Medina it offers easy access to everything, but yet feels calm and apart from the hustle and bustle. The welcoming staff at Riad Andalla sets this guesthouse apart. The hotel arranged in advance $20 taxi and $25 set menu tagine dinner on the rooftop overlooking the square. The taxi can’t enter the Medina so you’ll get dropped off and a guy with a cart can wheel your luggage in. Sunna welcomed me with a warm smile and a cup of tea. She told me her name means sunshine and she truly is. The dinner was great and I served from the rooftop overlooking the square. The staff is so kind and community and intent on making your stay wonderful. They insisted on packing me breakfast to take with me on an early departure and even let me borrow a phone charger when mine stopped working. They really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable! I ended up staying in two different single rooms—both were lovely and the linens were much nicer than the other places I stayed in Marocco. You’ll be happy you chose to stay at Riad Andalla!
Nice little off the beaten path location. Basically in the center of everything. It's almost on top of Jemaa El Fnaa. Little restaurants, bigger, depending on what you want. Easy to meet your tour groups from here. Staff is friendly, attentive make an effort to know you. Dinner was a surprising 3 course affair and it was so good. Worth the stay
.
Shower heads have low pressure, very low water for shower internet keep disconnecting
Excellent service. Property location is in the heart of the city
*Staff were excellent and very very friendly *2 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa Plaza * It has a beautiful terrace looking at the plaza * Very nice Breakfast * I highly recommend this Place I love this place
Well, the staff specially Sanaa & Ismail were very gentle and helpful. We recommend the Riad highly every thing was perfect and we enjoyed being there. Nabil AlJarad
Great location close to the square. Friendly staff. The hotel arranged our taxi from the airport to the hotel which made it super convenient to find the riad among the mazes of the Medina.
Good experience location good and friendly people
it was amazing experience location good, although i would agree with previous reviews that the location could be better sign posted, but once you are used to where its situated its all good . the staff were really friendly good experience tasting marakwsh breakfast, different to the traditional English breakfast apart from this the place is an ideal location of all centre of attraction and experiencing the teal morrocan life and yes I would come back here.
For the price, this place can’t be beat. It was my first introduction to riads. I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Noisy I can hear so much going on in the first floor. My room was second floor .
Made our trip easy
Wonderful stay- 2 min walk to main square but quiet. Great continental breakfast on rooftop. A/C worked well and beds were comfy. Amazing staff. My kids complained about the low wi-fi and I would say if I needed it for business it would have been a problem BUT the goal was to not be on devices all day so low wifi was a plus. Hard to find the first time especially coming at night. I did call the staff and they were kind to wait up for a 1am arrival. Really nice people who work there.
It’s a great Riad! Felt super welcome and safe. Recommend getting them to pick you up from the airport. Keep in mind that a car won’t take you to the door of the Riad, you get off before going down small streets and walk with a driver.
We were greeted with a lovely staff. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Riad was very close to the jemaa el-fnaa. From their rooftop you can see it which was beautiful at night. Although it is so close when in our room we could not here the noises. If you are a light sleeper, you could possibly here prays at the crack of dawn. Overall a very pleasant riad.
Breakfast overlooking Jemma El-Fnaa
We had a lovely stay, really friendly and welcoming staff, rooms were spotless , showers were great, breakfast was really nice and served on the a rooftop dining area ,the hotel was really central and a great place to stay to explore Marrakech.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wonderful accommodation, ran by a lovely young couple. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Very nice restaurant on the rooftop with excellent dinner and breakfast. And yes, they do serve beer and wine at night as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend this boutique hotel. Parking is a little difficult and has to be done outside of the Medina. The directions to the safe parking lot could be a little bit clearer. But the owners made sure that we were well taken care of and helped us finding safe parking as well.
Everything was perfect until on our last day, they billed us for what they called travel tax etc. for about 15gbp ot 17.5 euro for 3 of us which was not disclosed on the hotel description here in expedia as well as during our check in. so we're a bit surprised when they told us. but overall, the place was really great, we really had a great time with this hotel. Nice rooftop as well as friendly staff and clean toilets. so maybe, to avoid confusion as well as have a transparency, please put in the description as well as during the check in time. thank you
We loved everything about our stay especially the staff. They were very helpful and friendly!
Great place.
Riad Andalla in Morocco is a hidden gem in the heart of Marrakech. With its exquisite architecture, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality, it offers an authentic Moroccan experience like no other. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth and welcomed into a tranquil oasis that feels like home. Whether you're exploring the bustling streets of the medina or relaxing on the rooftop terrace, Riad Andalla is a delightful retreat that captures the essence of Morocco.
Staff was amazing friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.
Staff at the Road were amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but very clean and were cleaned daily. It is so close to the main square and the view from the rooftop is great. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Overall 10 out of 10.
Very close to Djemaa el-fnaa, but not noisy! I loved staying here and was very happy.
Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Quite a small room, but very nicely decorated and warm water for the shower. Hakeem was so kind, gave us breakfast to go two days - thank you! Lovely rooftop to eat breakfast and lots to do - very close to the markets but nice and quiet. Lovely cats everywhere and a warm welcome by staff and other guests
Highly recommend
Riad Andalla was fantastic. Radwon who was the receptionist/concierge was simply awesome. I highly recommend this place. It’s also in a great location.
Our second time at Riad Andalla and, again, we couldn’t really fault it. We had a room on the 2nd floor, main building which even had windows to the outside. We could see the square from the bed! The tiny downside of this was that it was a tad noisy until late at night. We ate at the riad every night which we prefer to going out and being hassled, and the food was home cooked and fantastic. They also served wine if required. Abdel, in particular, made our stay memorable with some very interesting and informative chats. Thank you Abdel. We LOVE Marrakech - this was our 5th visit - and have stayed in some lovely riads, but this is our fav!
the staff were super nice and helpful. wish the terrace had been open for meals
It is in close location to the market, but had to find if no hotel staff to bring you in . Also the side building we stayed is hard to climb , my husband had difficulty to get on to the higher level, 2nd level . Room lighting is not bright enough . Shower site is slippery when wet . The beds are very comfortable. It is clean . The terrace view is very good, breakfast is fine .
This review is based on my stay in the single room. I was surprised that the room is situated on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen and dining quarters for the staff and cleaners. They use the kitchen for cooking lunch and dinner - where the smell lingers in the room afterwards. The room itself is basic, though it has an en-suite, there is no locks, ventilation or windows. There is a fan provided but it's probably way past it's best years and very noisy and very dusty fan blades. There is also a pungent drainage smell from the toilet. Maybe the double rooms are much better but I would not recommend the single room. The property itself is well looked after and has a nice breakfast setting on the rooftop. The breakfast staff are kind and attentive and there's a good selection of pastries, bread and jams provided.
What a gem. Rooftop terrace with a view of the square was unexpected and fantastic. Service made us feel like royalty.
The location is excellent. Very short walk to Jmaa El Fnaa. Excellent service from the owners, Pascal, Valerie, Jordi, Laura and Karim. It was a joy to have stayed with them for 9 nights. Breakfast and dinner was wonderfu. Best of all, you are cared for not only as a client but as a valued friend. They made arrangements for my transfers from and to the airport, my tour to the High Atlast Mountains, information about everything that I needed I will definitely stay with them again and again. Thank you, famille Blanchard for becoming my new friends.
Would definitely stay again
Very beautiful hotel. Great view from the terrace and excellent service and staff. They looked after me very well
2nd visit. Stayed with friends
A beautiful Riad in a spot 2 mins from cafe de France in Jemaa el fna. 2nd visit, and just as lovely. Stayed in suite, on top floor. Very clean, beds made daily, lovely breakfast and service, staff and owners very welcoming. Lovely terrace overlooking square. Would certainly stay again. Thank you for your lovely hospitality
Very nice family
Wonderful Riad in the center of Medina
Wonderful Riad run by very gracious and accommodating employees. Everyone goes out of their way to be friendly. A great breakfast with pastries and Moroccan pancake. Awesome location next to the Main Square and all of the Medina attractions.
Great staff.Very attentive and friendly.Makes you feel at home away from home.Very satisfied customer here. Will definitely go back and choose this place again.
Riad Andalla is so close to everything in the centre of Marrakesh. It’s roof terrace is an amazing place to look over the main square Djeema el Fna. The staff are all really nice and make you feel like you are at home. The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Outstanding location and overall comfort, but....
Our stay at this Riad started on a wrong foot with the owner Valérie, due to a misrepresentation between what we reserved on Hotels.com and the room we received upon arrival. We reserved a Standard Double Room and got a tiny twin beds room, with no curtain or door for intimacy for the bathroom, that did not match the pictures of what we booked. The owner Valérie was unfortunately unaccommodating for that first night (we asked for a partial reimbursement). She said it is not soooo small and we that booked last minute, which should have no impact on the misrepresentation between what we booked and what we got!, and refused any compensation. We had 2 more days booked, for which we moved to a Standard Double Room and the rest of our stay was very pleasant. The Riad’s location is outstanding. Breakfast on the terrace was nice. Valerie’s husband was very pleasant to deal with and very eager to resolve the situation and make the rest of our stay enjoyable. There is a significant difference in soundproofing between the 2 buildings of this Riad property. The right side is better.
Worth staying here just for dinner
Pros: Beautifully decorated. Each room has its own theme/decorations. Food is delicious. Meals are pricey at 20 Euros per person but worth it. Even some of my very picky family members loved it besides they are three couse meals. Breakfast which was included in our reservation did the trick: fresh orange juice, coffee, and a variety of pastries, staff was friendly and made conversation with us. Located in the Medina where all the action is at night. Cons: Would have been very hard to find if hotel worker did not come get us from the taxi that dropped of us (which was reserved through the hotel), and some rooms don't seem as private as you can easily hear other guests depending on where you put. We had two issues with our room while staying at Riad Andalla. The staff worked hard to make up for the problems so we felt heard and respected.
Fabulous place to stay
This was a very special place in the middle of Marrakech, the rooms we’re clean and very comfortable. The service from the staff was first class, wish we had booked to stay a little longer. Would definitely go back. Thanks for making our visit special
ask for the evening meal absolutely amazing served on there roof top terrace one of the best meal I’ve ever had
authentic Marrakesh experience. hard working staff. not much of a luxury this place but the price is good. strong and fast WiFi good breakfast. the faucet over sink is too big impossible to wash face.
A must
A must for visiting in Marrakech! Great place with authentic Morrocan feel and considerate service.
Great place to stay. Near the main square. Comfortable place to sleep, no noise from the outside streets. Quiet clean. Staff was great with awesome hospitality.
Beautiful spot with great food
This is a beautiful place in a secluded corder of the Medina. The space is beautiful and we really enjoyed our time. You must eat dinner here- it was the best meal of our trip.
Fabulous service with great staff.
Happy place to stay
We arrived before check in and the staff was welcoming and fed us breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and close to the square. I heard the staff laughing quite often and they always had smiles on their faces
We had a lovely trip, the room was clean and tidy and a great location in the medina.
Not for human being.i reserved 3nights left after one with bed bugs bites all over me.stay away from the place.
My first stay in a riad
It was my first stay in a riad. Although the location is great and service was pleasant, I was expecting a bit better comfort.
Great choice! We’re very happy!
Couldn’t ask for closer to the main square. Fantastic service, very welcoming.
Very basic accomodation but right on the square
The plus point for this property is that it is right on the Jemaa El Fnaa. The owners are friendly, but the place itself is very basic, rooms and bathrooms are tiny. The area is safe.
We found Riad Andalla to be an oasis to retreat to after all the hustle and bustle of the medina. We enjoyed the warm welcome, the lovely mint tea, the two relaxing inner courtyards (the riad occupies two buildings divided by a common footpath) and the tastefully decorated rooftop garden - the views over the Jemaa el-Fnaa were fantastic day and night and we never grew tired of having breakfast there every morning. Our room was equally interesting, with lots of Moroccan elements built into its design. The air conditioning was powerful enough to keep the room cool (though we've been told that it's been an incredibly mild summer there), and the beds were comfortable. The shower had reasonable water pressure but it was evident that the plumbing can only handle so much - an average length shower took 1-2 hours to drain. For those looking for hotel-style bathroom amenities, you should reset your expectations. Unlike older reviews, all of the rooms we saw could be padlocked for security. The service was always friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious (but comparatively pricey) tagine that was served (remember to book this ahead of time). Location wise, the Jemaa el-Fnaa and the souks are both a 3 min walk away, and most of the major attractions (palaces and gardens) are within walking distance. The riad can be difficult to find the first time - check out other reviews for walking directions (use Cafe de France as the reference point). For navigation, use the Maps.Me app.
Authentic Riad Next to Jemaa el-Fna
I had booked my stay at this riad for 2 nights to extend my tour through the country. My friend was staying at a different hotel however she came with me when I was checking in. It was slightly tricky to find the riad but once we did we both fell in love with it even after having been traveling through Morocco for a week. Everything looked and felt authentic and very beautiful to the smallest details. We were greeted with some tea and biscuits and some warm smiles. Once I saw my room I was even more impressed by the designs. However I had my suspicions that the roof terrace is going to surprise me even more. And it did! What a view all around it! And a great place to watch the empy square in morning, seeing it getting busier in the afternoon and finally full of crowds at night. I even managed to see part of Berber culture festival which was amazing! Be aware though that you might hear a bit of the hustle and bustle from the square in your room too. The hotel staff were truly friendly and helpful and always available for whatever you might need. Even if it is just a conversation in evening on the terrace while enjoying the fantastic views. The breakfast was very good and delicious and rooms were cleaned every day. I definitely recommend this riad and would love to return there myself!
Great location, clean and friendly
The hotel sits in a side street ally and was a little challenging to find. The allies are safe and Abdul was waiting for us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is located right in the market. The lobby, rooms and breakfast were great. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean. If I return to Marrakech, I will stay in Riad Andalla agian.
Fantastic
Service was amazing! Could not have asked for any better. Simply amazing.
Spacious, airy and light coloured rooms. Refreshing and relaxing. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast.
Beautiful Moroccan experience
The service was amazing starting with our pickup from the airport with the driver arranged by the Riad. The Riad is beautiful in its décor and we were greeted with tea and sweets. The Riad is close to the market and we ate a wonderful 3 course dinner at the Riad including chicken and vegetable tagines served upstairs in the open air terrace overlooking the market. Our breakfast which was included was massive including fruit, different breads, jams, fresh juice and coffee. The room was beautifully presented and clean as was the entire Riad. Thanks to Abdul and his staff for a wonderful stay.
A Splendid Short Break
A perfect escape from UK's relentless winter weather to the engaging Marrakesh magic. We were lucky enough to find Riad Andalla close to the main square which lived up to its on line description. As elderly travellers we were not looking for the 'night life' and took the our guide book advice to eat our evening meals in house and were rewarded with superb Moroccan food. Had our stay been longer we would have tried restaurants but felt we had certainly not missed out. Finally, our host, Abdullah looked after us at every turn with real concern for our well being always shown with ready advice delivered with humour and interest. This was a break that has set us up for hopefully the last few weeks before spring and our own limited share of sun. Thank you Abdullah and Andulla.
They treat you like a family
I had a pleasant and memorable stay at Marrakech and at Riad Andalla. The place is very strategic - close to most tourist attractions. The hotel staffs are THE BEST! they will do their best to cater your interest+needs and super friendly! I had an unfortunate situation where my flight was delayed for 1.5 days and Christophe/Abdul provided me with a super nice room at a super friendly price (despite last minute booking!). Abdul even said "if there's no spare room, I would help you finding a room to stay" - so sweet! Abdul will basically help you from arranging your itinerary to buying argan oil etc (at local price!). The ladies and the guys who help running the riad are also sweet!! I indeed feel they treat me like a family! Thank you so much!
Magical
Charming and fantastic location with just the sweetest staff. If you want to experience the Médina of Marrakech this is the place to go
Great service! Centrally located!
If you are looking for a central located hotel/riad with great service, look no further. Read Andalla is a stone's throw away from the centre of all activities. Superb service! Christophe and his team made sure that we are comfortable all throughout our stay. Meals were also amazing (Kids were even complaining that the spread was just too much! :) If there is room for improvement, I would suggest that for the airport transfer (airport to hotel), the van driver turns us over to riad staff instead of just giving us directions on how to get to the riad. At night and with luggages, it was scary to navigate our way to the riad.
Perfect stay!
Great location- right behind the famous jema al fna ( square). Staff members were friendly and offer advice where to go, where to eat. Abdul was exceptionally helpful . My friends who came by to meet me were impressed with the hospitalty and the dinner we had in the riad on 25 december! Safe location for solo lady travellers
Great views of DJeema el-Fna from rooftop terrace
Hidden treasure close to all the action of the Deema el-Fna. Christofe was very helpful with maps advice, etc. Very nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace, We had top room in annex, with terrace, lots of privacy and a really cozy, cool room with good wifi and a comfy bed. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Lots to see in Marrakesh. Bring your walking shoes and don't be afraid to ask for directions.
Well-maintained Riad
Everything like room, shower, breakfast were nice. Staff were friendly and informative. It is located near the Cafe de France but not easy to find in the first time as there was not sign at all. But once you got there there was no problem. And yet despite that it is quite near the square it was quiet at night. The main feature was you could have a overview of the square. If this is not your main concern, then there are many other options with cheaper price.
Charming Riad
The owner and staff at the Riad Andalla were amazing. Friendly and accommodating, always with a smile and advice. We had 3 rooms, each with its own charm. Breakfast on the rooftop was a great way to start the day. The dinner on the roof our first night was delicious too. We would absolutely stay there again. Glad we did the ride from the airport through the Riad on arrival, navigating the Medina the first time would have been very confusing on our own.
Nice hotel close to the square. Very good location
Good place, nice people and good breakfast. Would definitely come back to stay again!
Vibrant Hidden Gem in the Center of Marrakech
Riad Andalla lies at the end of a slightly intimidating, winding, high walled, narrow alley. But once I stepped through the doorway, I was transported into a truly magical and romantic space. The lobby is a vibrant world of color glowing with sunlight streaming through the open roof. The room are rather small, but filled with rich fabrics and lovingly decorated. The riad offers a bountiful breakfast on their rooftop which also serves as a cozy secluded vantage point to take in the sights and sounds of the bustling Jeema El'Fna. Steps away from countless restaurants, cafes, food carts and shops in the heart of the medina. We are itching to go back!
Awesome riad!
Amazing location! Terrace overlooks market. Parking is a bit far but doable. Staff was super nice. Huge breakfast every morning!
Great location. Staff are excellent.......................................................
Tranquility close to the chaos of Marrakech
Overnight trip to Marrakech Riad Andalla is the perfect place to enjoy the wonders!
Wonderful riad and fantastic location right behind jemma el fna with rooftop terrace overlooking the square on one side and atlas mountains on the other....perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff and a really welcomming stay. Nice clean rooms and en suite shower/wc etc. Would definitely stay again.
Cozy Riad right next to the Jemaa El Fna square.
My stay at the Riad Andalla was amazing! It's central location just a couple of alleys away from the main square in Marrakech was ideal for exploring, starting various tours and for views of Marrakech from the Riad rooftop. The Riad has enough separation from the square that it was quite peaceful at night. The staff were friendly and helpful and they and the owner, Christophe, always had excellent suggestions for where to go to eat, etc. I definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of the action in Marrakech!
Great find,so close to the main square
Great Riad, stayed here for 4 nights with my 82 year old mother. I chose this riad as it was so close to the main square and my mother cannot walk too far. Christophe and his staff were very welcoming and helpful. You couldn't have asked for better. Breakfast was lovely, sat up on the sun terrace. The food cooked for us in the Riad was excellent. The Riad was spotless and very well decorated in the Morrocan style. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back one day.
Not a lot to chose from on I 20 east of Dallas. This was a great place to stop for the night.
Don't trust any reviews anymore !
I booked this hotel based on the five star rating on the hotel.com site. I am totally shocked on how this hotel get a five star customer rating !!! I would give it max 2* the rooms not comftable I had vey bad smell in the WC. The area was not safe at all.
Impressive stay
The rooms are decorated with american comic features which are really beautiful and impressive. Rooms are clean and quiet at night. The hostel is very close to the MTR station.
Amazing Riad & Great location.
This is an amazing riad with wonderful rooftop views of Djema el-Fna square. Christophe was amazingly helpful in providing information about the city, where to go, what to do, how much to pay for a taxi. The staff was equally as amazing. They served breakfast on the rooftop terrace and if you wanted anything else they were more than happy to accommodate. With the location just off the square it was easy to stop back at the riad to drop off purchases from the souks or just relax on the rooftop with drinks before dinner.
Close to all sights but basic accomodation
Pros: People (Christophe, Younis and Andre) were all great as well as all the staff and location - very central and close to all the main attractions. Cons: very, very small damp room with a tiny bathroom and uncomfortable bed - quite cramped and the Riad is down a little alley (which did not feel safe at night). This is basic accommodation and you are paying the price for the location and hospitality. We only stayed one night but could not have stayed longer.
Location is everything
I've twice stayed in Riads in Marrakech - they have been lovely but difficult to get to and from. Riad Andalla is in a different ball game: tucked behind the Cafe De Paris 5 minutes from the Djemma down narrow but lit alleys. We stayed in a junior suite on the 1st floor - a long narrow room with double bed and a red divan. The bed was very comfy. There was no table but a closet - and the floor was carpetted. There was a good strong shower and a toilet behind a curtain. It had heating. There were no locks to the room or a safe - everything was on trust. There was a large communal area and seats on each floor. The Wifi was good but only worked downstairs. Breakfast was on the roof, three stories up with brilliant views of the Square. Breakfast itself was average: the first day we were given deep fried donuts - my cholesterol count went through the roof just looking at them. On the other days there were Moroccan crepes. Great orange juice but weak coffee. We never ate in the Riad but did visit the expensive but lovely restaurant on the way to the Riad in the first alley. Overall a great place to stay but you are paying for the location
Beautiful Riad - a home from home.
A beautiful calm oasis in a busy city. Wonderful, friendly, helfpul staff. Clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Delicious food served on the roof terrace with lovely views over the main square. Overall a perfect experience at Riad Andalla, being looked after completely the whole time but also feeling totally at home and relaxed. The Riad is in a fantastic location close to the square and Souks and offers everything you will need and more.
The location of Riad Andalla is very close to the busy Djeema el Fna and the roof terrace provides a view of the medina that is particularly stunning at sunset. Very friendly and helpful staff and good food too.
DO NOT STAY IN RIAD ANDALLA, Maraakech Medina
I'm a world traveler on my 2nd round-the-world trip and have visited 60 countries now. Despite the reason I booked Riad Anadalla was because of the good/excellent reviews, but everything was far from right for my stay and the worst experience I've ever had. My Expedia reservation didn't specify which room, I found myself checked in to the only ground floor unit, which is between the kitchen and public area, not far fromthe entrance. With the windows and door not 100% shut and facing in, I could hear everything. The bathroom was stinky. Then I went to the restaurant they recommended and I vomited shortly after. I couldn't even stay in my own room to rest and/or wait for next possible throwup. Because the owners greeted and oriented the new guests right by my room. There is a rooftop terrace they could have easily invited the guests to go up to have their welcome mint tea and chat forever as there is no room right on that floor but they just had to talk outloud right by my room. They said it was only 7ish in the evening but they knew I was sick and had to rest in my room. They said it was only 30 min but there were at least two groups checked in since I told them that I was sick. The worst part was when I expressed my problem, they (mostly Christopher) showed no apology or sympathy at all and as if it was my fault to book their Riad. I'm so sorry about my own mistake but I want to make sure the world knows that DO NOT STAY IN RIAD ANDALLA in Maraakech Medina.
Highly recommended
Such a fantastic hotel. Real attention to detail. Only downer was the food was too expensive however, its best to eat in town anyway. Best to go slightly off peak as there aren't loads of sunbeds
Absolutely Fantastic
One of the best places I've stayed. We were made to feel extremely welcome and couldn't have been given more help on what to do & where to eat. A perfect stay in an idylic Riad which couldn't be closer to the main action in Marrakech. I would go back tomorrow if I could!
Riad Andalla - Great place to stay!
Stayed here for two nights in mid-February. It's located very close to the Medina, just behind Café de France. The rooms and main reception area are slightly smaller than the pictures describe but the roof terrace has one of the best views in Marrakech. The staff are lovely and very willing to help. Breakfast is served every morning on the terrace. What better way to wake up to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Overall, a great place to stay.
Riad Andalla - fab location and outstanding servic
Located just off the main square and central to the major sights, the team at Riad Andalla really look after you and make you feel at home without being intrusive. Breakfast on the roof terrace, which overlooks the square, is a special way to start the day and the meal we ate at the riad was wondeful. Christophe was a fount of local knowledge and booked whatever we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Central Riad
rouf garden over look jamaal el fna and Atlas mountins
great hosts, great location
Riad Andalla is a very well maintained hotel with a perfect location. The roof terrace overlooks the Jemaa el Fna. The hosts are charming, accommodating and full of useful advice about things to do and see in Marrakech. The beds are a little hard, but overall the hotel is comfortable and inviting. I'd definitely recommend it.
riad andalla
Riad Andalla was a joy to stay at. The owner Christophe arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport which made things very easy for us. on arrival we were taken to the terrace and as we sipped our fresh orange juices Christophe told us of all the local attractions and restauarants. He was very helpfull and upgraded us to a suite rather than the double bedroom we had booked at no extra charge. Riad Andalla was like an oasis within the hustle and bustle of busy marrakesh, we recommend it highly and the owners ar lovely happy people
El personal del hotel muy amable y la atención ha sido excelente. El desayuno muy bueno y abundante

Comfortable for a family of 3 adults in one room
Very nice Riad with a beautiful relaxing roof top terrace. Owner’s are onsite and operate it very efficiently. The room was clean and comfortable enough for 3 adults because it had lots of places to store all our luggage and stuff off the floor. It was very quiet and we slept well during our 2 night stay.
