You’ll love it!
Very nice place with excellent service! Friendly staff. Only one slight issue- hot water pressure very low many times during stay.
Friendly staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The property was lovely however the a/c and tv did not work in our room.
Bad receptionist
Bad attitude
Nice and quite place. You need some time to understand how to go to and from Rome Center, but the train station is 3 blocks away, so very soon you star moving with confidence.
Excellent view, 30-45 min driving from central Rome. Really quiet and beautiful
Rustic hotel with subpar food and remote location
I arrived at the hotel late at night and was pleased to find the key left at the front desk. However, I really wish the air conditioner in the room worked. Also, the hotel is fairly far from anything in the Rome with your only option into town being a bus. The problem with being in a remote area is the lack of food options. Breakfast in the hotel is 4 euros for a croissant + coffee or 10 euros for pastries and a coffee. Really wish they had anything related to a traditional breakfast (e.g. meat, cheese, eggs.). Wi-fi was sporadic at best, but the employees were great!
👍👍
Lovely place to stay. Peaceful & quiet.
Slightly difficult to find but good value
Not particularly modern but fine for a quick one night stay. Air conditioning didn’t reach the bathroom and we couldn’t open the window as it looked straight onto the outside walkway so people would be able to see in. Bed was fine. Toiletries not that great. Don’t think we’d return but no major problem with the stay.
Brilliant location!
Nice hotel, a former convent, in a brilliant location near the heart of Trastevere. The grounds are very pleasant and relaxing and we ate the really excellent breakfast buffet there.
Very good value hotel on the outskirts of Rome
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast and we had an evening meal which was good and good value. Best visited if you're driving but central Rome only is only three quarters of an hour away on the train - which is a tourist experience in itself!
Nice hotel in quiet location.
This hotel is a little distance from the center of Rome but if you don’t mind a short walk to the train station you can save money and stay in a pleasant hotel. The staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast is a European style breakfast at a reasonable rate. The owner speaks English and is extremely nice.
Hotel in a compound away from main road, a short walk to train station into the centre of Rome. Quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast.Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lovely stay
This hotel was out of the way, quiet and tranquil with amazing staff who were as helpful as they could be! Breakfast had a variety of choice and the maids were excellent, the room was always cleaned to perfection. I throughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel helping me enjoy my holiday in Rome even more! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Lovely Picturesque Hotel
An excellent hotel overall with not a bac word to say about the hotel. The only drawback is the distance and time taken to travel to the centre of Rome, which is around an hour by metro, The metro stop is less than 10 min walk away, who h is convenient.
Excellent Hotel
Had a nice time. Friendly staff tasty breakfast. Rooms spacy and clean.
Not really a Hotel
Traveling for work a lot, I did not expect too much from this outskirt hotel, yet the reality of this stay was even worse. Hard to find, minimally staffed and very very basic, more a motel than a hotel.
Hotel? Not really
I chose this so-called hotel based on the positive reviews, but was confronted with a different reality. Located within a gated residential community, this hotel is not only hard to find, but also minimally staffed. They charge an extra 20 Euro fee for late check-in (after 10 pm) and the front desk is not staffed until 8 am. Since we had to leave by 7:30 am there was also NO breakfast. Room was very basic and the bed not comfortable.
excellent
Excellent breakfast, very quite and close to Rome and airport.
Big mistake! Do not book this hotel if you do not have a car. It is FAR from the nearest train station. I would say close to a mile walk. Especially, its an absolute no if you have luggage(s). Portion of the walk is an up hill which is very tiring with a luggage and the road is not smooth so I lost tires of my luggage. It is also far from the main attractions in Rome. I booked this place thinking it will help me expreince the real neighborhoods in Italy. No! Bad location for a hotel, very quiet neighborhood so you don't get anything from staying here. The breakfast and wifi connection were ok. However, the front desk lady is so rude. Not very welcoming! They also charge 12euro for checking in after 10pm. The room wasn't great also. The gate logistics is also a pain. I would not recommend this place at all. Too far and not welcoming stuff!!
Helpful people at desk.
Boutique hotel in Rome outskirts.
We stayed here the night before returning to the US. It is set in a residential neighborhood, mostly gated communities. Therefore, it is a quiet environment, and there are two gates to get to the hotel; so it is very safe and secluded. The are a few restaurants, a couple within walking distance, but not much else as far as services. Rooms are clean, the entire facility has the feel of a boutique hotel. Breakfast on the enclosed patio is wonderful with fresh pastries and homemade cakes and jam. It starts at 7:30, a bit late for catching earlier flights. The hotel is only 25 min from Fiumicino airport. Prices are very competitive. A far better choice than the crowded, more expensive hotels near the airport. Ideal if you have a car.
Great location right outside Rome
We only stayed one night. The hotel is nice and well decorated. The staff is very cordial, professional, and helpful. Breakfast was good too. Very stable wi-fi in the room and lobby. Unfortunately our room (#16)was right by the kitchen and we got awaken around 6:30am by the staff preparing for breakfast. We would stay here again, just in a different room.
Nice hotel but far.
Hotel was very good but the location mmmm to to good.
Great hotel for visiting Rome
Hotel was easy to find from address, very friendly reception on arrival. Hotel is clean and light and really relaxed, managed very professionally. Breakfast was really good and 5 min walk from train station into Rome. All in all a great place to stay while visiting Rome
Quiet, comfortable, and serene.
This hotel is quiet, small, and very comfortable. For me, it was a perfect contrast to my busy, noisy life. I really appreciated the tranquility, more so after a day of exploring Rome. The hotel staff are very helpful with advice and information which made the stay more pleasant. The continental breakfast was substantial with a good range of fruits, breads, meat, cheese, yogurt, juices and coffee. While it's a bit off the beaten track, what it lacks for in location, it makes up for in ambience.
Authentic Italian Experiance
The staff here was definitely why we had a good time. The location is not super if you want to experience tourist spots and the beds and pillows are hard BUT the staff were incredible. The breakfast was amazing everyday. Have to do LOTS of walking to get to restaurant for other meals but they are worth it. Ristorante Guistanna ( SP?) and a restaurant called something (I forgot the first part) Pietro were both INCREDIABLE. I would recommend this place for a more authentic Italian experience but be warned it is far away from any tourist spot so expect a long commute.
excellent hotel
best hotel ever owners could not have been more welcoming made for a fantastic two night stay in Rome. would recommend to all.
Nice location
We stayed for few days. Lovely location and great people (except the lady who was there on the weekend, she was mean and lacked customer service skills. She looked very unhappy person) the other people were absolutely great, very helpful and very polite. Breakfast was excellent, and they had great coffee. Our room was comfortable and clean. However, the AC stopped working at night, it was on and off. Overall great hotel, we park the car a the train station for 2 E all day then we took the train everywhere in Rome for 1.50 the ride. Great experience, great hotel and close to the train station
Nice hotel & lovely staff
This is a lovely quiet hotel, a little off the beaten track (about 10/15min walk from the train station 5/10mins from bus stop) so getting around is fairly easy. Travel passes for both are available from local store and are very cheap. Their is no footpath to the main gate, though the road is quite wide cars can get a little close (electronically operated gate so when you first arrive press the intercom on the right hand side, keys provided to operate during your stay) as you go through the gate take the right hand fork to the main hotel gate. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, especially Flavia, it's obvious she loves her job. Breakfast was, as you would expect, continental, inc. cereals, fresh fruit, breads, meat, cheese and cakes.
Hotel out from Rome central
Location was a 30 minute ride on the local train to city center/Vatican. Very nice to go to after a busy day seeing Rome. Nice and quite. Rooms are comfortable to relax.
Nice hotel
A clean and comfortable room perfect for a shorter stay. Quiet and peaceful neighbourhod with two secure gates. Breakfast was alright, but not too varied. However, the wifi was irritating as you have to log on every time you enter the hotel. Very friendly staff that explained how to travel around Rome, therefore it was easier for us. Recommend this hotel but very expensive city tax!
You need to stay here.
We had a wonderful time. The Hotel was very clean, and comfortable. The train was 800 meters from the hotel. We didn't mind the walk at all. We toured Rome and came back to a comfortable room and a comfortable bed.
Excellent place to stay
Stayed here for 3 nights. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. It's located quite far from the city but public transport helps you to get there very fast.
Very Pleasant stay
The reception lady is very helpful and filled me in with the local hang-out spots etc. Very nice and cozy rooms.
The room was confortable, good bed, the atention from desk lady was very good. It´s located very close from a train station, that was excellent, I leave the car at the hotel to get in roma. I just spend one nigth here but i will stay again.
Molto bellino
Consigliato
Location is nice and pretty. Very calm The room is old fashioned. Breakfast is to much expensive for what you got to eat. I extended my stay because I have to. And I upgrade my room but the was no pressure on the hot water in the shower. The next night they change my room but the room was smaller than what was my room upgraded!!! You can stay there if you have to but I think overall the hotel is overpriced
Una stanza ampia, silenziosa ben equipaggiata, personale cortese e disponibile.
Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Bett.
good place
5 min from 201 bus station. good breakfast.
Soddisfatti e sicuramente consigliato.
Bello
Hotel molto carino in posizione riservata.
Soggiorno a Roma.
Hotel in zona tranquilla, camera comoda luminosa e cosa molto importante pulita. Personale molto gentile e disponibile.
Hidden gem that could be a diamond
Small, but very cosy and comfortable hotel. We travelled by rental car and then this hotel is just perfect. It has 2.. yes 2 gates to their site to protect the car, 30 minutes from ciampino airport. The centre of rome is reachable by a 30 minute train trip which costs 1,50€ and is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, or 1 minute by car and then you can leave it at the ( when we were there ) free parking across the station . The rooms are good and clean , but some rooms could do with some more care.In 1 room the hairdryer was taped shut ( it was working perfectly though ) and in order to sit on the toilet you had to squeeze yourself between the washing sink and the toilet seat. Someone made a design error there.. In another room everything was absolutely fine . The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is simple but good. So if they can fix a few minor things, this little gem could be a beautiful diamond
IT S A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE HOTEL IS VERY CONFORTABLE AND BEAUTIFUL.
Hotel rilassante e tranquillo
Ottimo soggiorno nell'hotel, facile da raggiungere in auto e situato in zona tranquilla e verdeggiante. Personale molto gentile e accogliente. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono.
geweldig
mooi verblijf .lovly mensen.erg genoeten
Ottimo soggiorno!!!!!
Posto molto pulito, personale gentile e disponibile, camera molto spaziosa, colazione ottima..

Resort La Rocchetta | Hotel in Rome | Travala.com
Booked due to lower price, but when we arrived saw that there is almost nothing around. Uber/taxi prices high due to having to go far outside the city. Not sure why it's called a "resort", there didn't seem to be really any amenities. Sheets were like sandpaper, hard to sleep. We had booked for 3 nights, but checked out after the first night even though we lost our money. We couldn't get out of there fast enough!
