Excellent as always
Recommend for families!
Amazing everything - fantastic location for walking around the downtown in every direction, large clean room (ours had a kitchen with everything you could ask for), nice pool for families, great continental breakfast selection, and wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Just a wonderful place to stay.
The hotel was well maintained and very clean. All of the staff we interacted with were cheerful and very helpful when asked about recommending local attractions. The Suite layout was functional and the kitchenette was well designed. I will stay there again during future visits to Vancouver.
We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Vancouver Downtown. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with a full kitchen, making it feel more like a cozy apartment than a hotel. The bed was super comfortable, and the quiet location allowed us to truly relax. Breakfast each morning offered plenty of delicious choices, and the staff were consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Being within walking distance to downtown spots and the seawall made it even better. Highly recommend this place if you want comfort, convenience, and a real sense of home while exploring Vancouver!
Great Stay in a good central location
very clean hotel with super comfortable beds. keycards are needed go get in at night and to use the elevator which made us feel safe. 5/5 will definitely stay again!!
Super customer service at a reasonable price!
First Canada trip and it is a dumpster fire area. Drugs everywhere. Wont go there again
We loved our stay here. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Vancouver for the first or second or thrid time! Free breakfast was amazing. Each place we visited was accessible as it was close to the bus and train station. So many restaurants to choose from and just a block away from Breka.
Conveniently located to downtown shopping and waterfront water taxi service! Very clean and great central location - easy bus access to UBC and Kitsilano and bikes - Roger’s bikes to bike everywhere! Breakfast service was great, lots of selection and pool, hot tub and gym were standard!
Big room and real kitchen.
This hotel provides comfortable & pleasant experiences for cleanliness & excellent services of the staff.
Very nice stay.
Great staff, the hotel very walkable and in good area when travelling with a baby
The hotel is situated in the city so tourist attraction are nearby. There are some construction nearby so there may be some noise. Otherwise nice hotel. It is secured. For Parking you have to first park near the lobby and get the parking pass when you check in. Parking is self parking level P1 and P2. The parking space is little tight so dont bring large vehicles. You can drive easily to Stanley park or other areas conveniently. The breakfast is good as have variety and it is in floor 2. The room had 2 queen beds and it is large and nice view of the city. Bathroom is okay not so big but workable. The staff were all nice and very helpful.
Such a beautiful hotel. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again !
Conveniently located, clean, updated and accommodated my request for early checkin.
Amazing service and location.
Great Hotel
Great staff , clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast included is a bonus. Very good location. It's my 4th stay
Fantastic hotel. Great spot for exploring Downtown, Stanley Park and Granville Island. Really friendly welcome and checked us straight in even though we were really early. The staff were helpful throughout. Great facilities across the hotel. The room was great, well equipped and plenty of space. Great spot and walking distance to all you need. Highly recommend.
The suite itself was extremely convenient for cooking and resting, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and we really didn't expect the many food choices, and the food was delicious. Overall, our family will love to come here again. We really enjoyed the time spent at Residence Inn.
Very nice hotel, friendly helpful staff
Great place to stay
Good
Excelente hotel
The room was very nice, i loved the kitchenette. It had everything that i needed.
Paid parking ($35/day) was not disclosed up front we probably would have considered another property.
great hotel, great location
Location
Always the choice
Staying here for over 20 yrs now. 👍👍
Stay was great. Amount of fees per day is crazy. Ended up adding another $50. Parking for overside vehicles is at your own risk. They really ensure they push that part to let you know they are not liable. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Pool and hot tub was great, breakfast was good. Sound proofing from the outside was wonderful. Was able to sleep even with all the traffic outside.
Easy to get around downtown, close to Granville Island and the airport.
Hotel was clean, staff pleasant, and breakfast options were great. If anything better sheets would be great.
Very nice. all good
Parking extremely expensive. They said the hot tub was going to be cleaned on Monday and Friday between 12-3pm. The hot tub was closed from 10-3 Monday and all morning Tuesday
Satisfied all over.
Great place
The hot tub made my skin very icy perhaps there was too much chlorine in it
I have just returned from a holiday in Vancouver spent 9 nights in a Studio at the Marriott Vancouver Downtown visiting my son at UBC. The room was modern, very clean and had everything I needed. The kitchen area was well equipped with utensils and the studio itself had everything I needed for my stay, including bathrobe, iron and ironing board. Towels were changed every other day and the housekeeping staff were pleasant and helpful. I really enjoyed the breakfast and there was always plenty to choose from. The hotel has access to a washing machine/dryer which was helpful and has a swimming pool and a gym, which both looked great but I didn’t get the time to use. Hotels location is good close to and within walking distance to the centre and public transport. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Overall good
Great location and rooms
Very nice location, and very walkabale. Rooms are clean and the kitcken was nice. I wish the pools had dedicated change rooms however. Also, was allowed to use my Koho card to book online but not pay in person at rhe hotel which was an annoyance
Stayed for one night in the Studio Suite with King bed city facing and was extremely impressed. Not only were the staff very accommodating for my over-height vehicle and early check-in request, but the room was extremely clean and had all the necessities for a longer stay. The continental breakfast was very fresh, with staff constantly refilling depleted food items and my fav.. a DIY waffle maker. Thanks for the excellent stay Residence Inn staff!
Was a great stay my husband enjoyed it and said staff were so helpful and welcoming So thank you for making my family feel welcomed and relaxed
Great stay overall
Had to pay extra for a person
Very convenient location and friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty good too! I would stay there again
Amazing accommodations.
We loved our stay!
did't like paying so much for parking
Decent stay, nice pool area. Room was generally clean , nice linens but some scuffs on some furniture. Breakfast was sub-par. Good for the price and location
We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The queen suite was beautiful! The room was very clean and the bed and linens were amazing! We had a beautiful patio with a city view that was beautiful at night! The location was great and there is a Breka bakery & cafe right across the street for those late night sweet cravings! We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re traveling to Vancouver!
Great stay!
Staff were all amazing, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. All were very nice and attentive! Met 2 ladies working the breakfast buffet (didn’t get their names but it was 1 viet & 1 Chinese ladies) and they were the sweetest!! They gave us recs for activities and where to go, definitely made our stay in Canada extra memorable at Marriot! Thank you!!!
We have a good stay with small children
Is nice place, clean and friendly
Overall, great experience.
The complimentary breakfast was great
I appreciated that on one of the days there was turkey sausage for breakfast, as someone who does not eat pork I do not find this option often. When it finished though it was replaced with bacon and on the second day the sausage was pork. I also would like to know why there is a book of Mormon and a bible in my room, this is not a Christian establishment maybe have an assortment of holy books in the lobby for people to choose from as opposed to only one/two religious texts. I appreciated that the rooms had almost everything one would need when away from home, I did need scissors which were not available. Simon from the front desk was very kind and helpful. Tam from housekeeping was incredibly helpful and professional. I really appreciated Tam.
All in all the stay was great, however the elevator has a mind of its own
The property was very comfortable and close to everything downtown. The area is a little bit dirty and felt unsafe to be out after dark.
The free breakfast was not great quality. We were charged exorbitant parking fees and other add-ons. We were there for four nights, and our room was never cleaned! We had to call to have trash taken away and towels brought up twice.
Great stay at a very nice property
Great Stay!
We had a great stay at this hotel. All of the staff were super friendly, the hotel is clean…the rooms, breakfast area and gym were all clean. The location is ideal being 2 blocks from the water, close to restaurants, shopping and attractions.
Great hotel location and service. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. Good for families.
Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean
Poor breakfast offer, too repetitive. Cleaning in the rooms are not as expected.. I asked for bed sheets change and they refused until 7 day stay. They never vacuumed until I told them and said it was because my reservation didn’t include “full service”
Fabulous comfortable suites in city centre
In addition to the excellent location in Yaletown in the heart of Vancouver, we had a comfortable, clean, quiet and very spacious suite which included a small kitchen, excellent for extended stays. There was a large desk to work at with excellent wifi connection. My fiancé and I really enjoyed the fabulous breakfast included in our lodging. The pricing was very competitive which was a deciding factor. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Woo who provided directions to get to UBC's MOA museum. There was an excellent selection of restaurants nearby just a five minute walk, including Japanese, Chinese and traditional. The Skytrain station to the airport was a seven minute walk. Highly recommend!
Good place for me to stay.
Great location and property.
Great time!
Convenience to everything you might want in a winter vacation.
Great stay and we’ve stayed many times before.
Great central location while we visited Vancouver.
.
Joy, Bruno, and Won were very welcoming, accommodating, and professional. They sincerely made us feel like guests. : )
Great property, amazing buffett breakfast, staff is very professional, friendly and helpful with any request that we had
Inappropriate checkout
We were very satisfied with the room and the amenities. Breakfast was average since there was no proper cheese platter or tomatoes/cucumbers and the variety was poor. The only thing came as a shock was the very rude attitude of the receptionist on the day of our checkout. When we approached to the reception desk and asked for checkout he literally said that he was busy with something else and suggested us to leave the hotel. And then another person supposedly was the manager took us to the other side of desk and started the checkout process. I don’t know if we ever come back to stay at this hotel but as a former hotelier who worked for decades in the hospitality industry I would suggest you to train your front office staff about how to maintain a decent attitude towards the guests.
Lovely stay! The staff are top-notch and the location is close to great shopping and restaurants. Included breakfast had many options and the coffee was delicious.
We paid $2k for 3 nights. It is definitely not worth what you paid for. Breakfast is very limited and very cheap and low quality and the egg was cold .. I will never do it again.
The view could have been better and the view did not showcase the mountains that I thought I would showcase.
Excellent staff, but room was not ready
The staff were incredible and did what they could in a very busy situation, but it didn’t stop the fact that our room was not ready for the requested 2pm check in, so I had no choice but to get ready in a bathroom in the lobby for our concert. I appreciate that this would likely not have been the case on any other event (Taylor Swift) but this was a big disappointment for getting ready for the event I had travelled to see. I based my travel options on when my room would be ready so I didn’t have to wait outside or in a lobby. That part was very unfortunate.
Gud
Good breakfast. Very nice people working.
Great
In the best location of downtown Vancouver, walking distance to several restaurants.
Good location and nice enough space. Priced a little higher than some comparable places.
Booked for a concert
This is the second time I have booked this hotel. Great location, friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. Free breakfast is a nice bonus.
Customer service was excellent from checking-in, at complimentary breakfast, and room requests. The bed was also very comfortable and the room we had was very spacious.
This Residence Inn is conveniently located in a nice part of the town. There are many nice restaurants around. It has an underground parking garage. The free daily breakfast provides good selection of items. The swimming pool and fitness center are not big but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our unit was pretty spacious and came with a full kitchen. The only complaint was the noise from the construction across the street. Nothing the hotel can control. But if someone wants to have somewhere quiet, this may not be ideal. All in all, we like our stay at the Residence Inn. We will definitely book this place next time we go to Vancouver.
Na
We are frequent visitors to this property. It never disappoints
The room was clean, the bed comfy and breakfast had a lot of options.
This was the perfect mid price range property for our family visit to downtown. The parking garage was safe and convenient. The area was safe for me to walk by myself as a woman at night, to go pickup dinner for the family. The staff was very friendly and professional. But the best parts of this hotel were the pool and amenities facilities and wide variety hot breakfast buffet on the second floor.
Hotel was nice Unfortunately we found blood stains on the sheets and duvet; no housekeeping, as we were only there two nights. The front desk associate was quite rude when I asked about a late checkout. I understand the policies, but him telling me “No. We don’t” very bluntly was quite rude.
staff was super sweet, really clean rooms & super close to a lot of good food places/pubs!
Hotel was fantastic
Clean, convenient location. Great staff and continental breakfast.
I think checkin should be earlier than 4pm. Thankfully we were able to check in early as a room was available.
Close to everywhere
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast and the exercise room was good. Would have liked to see more equipment. Highly recommend

Great hotel, great location.
This hotel was great! Very very clean, organized, comfortable room. Well equipped. The hotel has a wonderful large breakfast included. The friendly staff was consistent. Also, this location is very walkable to downtown, the gay district, shopping etc. Highly recommend
