Room smelled cigarette, it was not super clean

Not as good as it once was.

This hotel is the nearest to Yeditepe university. This was our 7th stay in 13 months. The hotel is showing signs of wear & tear & needs renovating. Lights not working, chair furnishings torn, peeling wallpaper, kitchen utensils & plates & glasses missing. Only 1 lift working & this was the same 3 weeks earlier! Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The staff at breakfast are always great.

Rooms are smaller than advertised or seen on pictures… breakfast is very poor, would not recommend getting the breakfast option. This hotel was more 3 stars.

I stayed in studio room, plenty of space and every essential items were available. Room was clean, everyday housekeeping. Staff was excellent. Overall a great experience

Upon arrival I was met by an overflowing bin and rubbish by the entrance. The windows and floors hadn’t been cleaned and looked grimy and dusty. Even the lift was grotty. Staff at checkin was wonderful and very welcoming though. The first room I was allocated was again, not the cleanest. Bathroom was moody which is my absolute pet hate. I went to the reception and was told it was the silicone changing colour however was offered an alternative room which I was happy with. Bed was comfortable and layout of room with kitchenette and dining area was great. Had a good stay in the end, just struggled with communal areas not being as clean as I’ve come to expect in most hotels in Instabul. Overall, the friendliness of the staff won me over.

for me i didn’t like my stay sorry the staff are very nice and trying there best but the place is not like what i thought it will be , i can rate my stay as less than what i expected .

Good business hotel

University visit.

This hotel is the closest to Yeditepe university. Rooms are a good size. Breakfast is adequate. Staff are always polite & helpful. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel but not much else.

Do not expect Marriot from it. Far from Marriot standards. Just the house keepers doing great job. Breakfast is average just average. A/C is not working properly and it is hot when you tell them they tell you because the weather is hot, it is an excuse I have been to many hotels in the worse weather conditions and their A/Cworked out great. And I know their reply is they are doing everything to do it above Marriot expectations but it is a lie trust me and other reviews, don’t do the same as me as I ignored the reviews and booked just because of the Marriot name. And there is always a bad smell in everywhere.

The reception and accommodations were very welcoming and very good at this property. I arrived at this property as a result of a failed booking accommodation at a different hotel, so the initial reception received at the Residence Inn was OUTSTANDING, it definitely made a difference! Everything else as very good from there on as well. From the layout of the room, to the shower pressure, as well as the cleanliness and daily housekeeping of the room was very good. The included breakfast was good as well as the dining room staff were respectfully accomimodating. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I am happy this business came up in my search.

I love all staff, they became my friends and I can’t wait to see them all. Samet was excellent at the bar. Front desk was amazing. Volkan at valet was great. I can’t wait to see you all my family at Residence in Atasehir.

One of the Best! Location was excellent. Staff is the best. I originally came for two nights and ended up staying there for 12 nights. That is how much I loved staying there. Without any exaggeration, this is one of the best hotels' that I have ever stayed at, FYI I've been to 50 countries. Staff were very helpful! Literally everyone was at their best from day 1. I came to the front desk to ask about food delivery and I had a problem with my international number, Hazar (front desk rep) offered me his app to order food without any hesitation. He also went so far that he gave me his promo code (discount code) to use for future orders. Then Esra and Elif helped me. Then Yigitcan and Fedai became my local friends. I am leaving in two days and the Valet staff Volkan, Sercan, Altug, Alican they all hugged me yesterday. Honestly, they all became my family in Istanbul. I have to come back to istanbul in 6 months and I already reserved my room. Rooms are big, bright, and I have everything that I need. Rooms also have kitchenettes and big bathrooms. Housekeeping is also the best, they spoiled me with all the water. Oh I almost forgot, Samet the Bartender was the best. Samet was very polite and helpful. Last night he and I talked for about three hours. I gained friends here. Manager Ezel was excellent, she assisted me every time with a big smile on her face. My stay never was interrupted. Prices were really affordable. Location was great. My room was tidy and very clean. See you soon

Cafes and shops around the corner

Front desk people are not focused to solve problems but they are more focused on cause more chaos’s. Housekeeping are very nice and doing their job. I don’t like it over all.

Not what I expected from the Marriott corporation

Hotel was too far from anything I requested non smoking room with sea view which I upgraded and paid for it, the receptionist refused to give me what I paid for saying no more non smoking room available but at the end and all of the sudden he found one after talking to his manager, very bad tactic. Not impressed with that, we have tried the breakfast once only during our 3 days stay wasn’t too impressed. Lobby wasn’t clean and very depressing bathroom sink clogged toilet seat loose flusher plate about to fall off among other issues. The house keeping lady was the highlight of our stay. Will not return to this location.

First time in Asian Istanbul

Good location clean helpful staff

The reception desk staff were nice and helpful. Our cleaning lady also did a phenomenal job every day and added nice touches like folding our loose clothes. The one negative was that the breakfast was very below average. The tea was quite poor and most of the food was stale. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Room is small but ok. Common areas and hallways stink of stale cigarettes. Clean towels smell of cigarette smoke as well. Staff isn’t very friendly.

Rooms need a thorough cleaning. Especially the windows, the glass and the floor corners. Very dusty

It was 5 night with two rooms, the expected rooms has no view as requested in the 2nd floor. The hotel consider as a 4 start hotels

It is an excellent hotel to stay.

The hotel location was good and surrounded by good restaurants and cafes. The staffs were friendly and helpful. However, there was a bad smell (a light rotting smell) in the hotel and rooms that we told them about several times and they didn't know the source. Also, there was leakage in our room (probably from a sewer upstair) that wet our clothes. They did not provide any help to clean our clothes (charged 120 Liras for the laundry!) and they just offered us a new room!!!

We had three 1+1 rooms for about a week. So I feel that I have a good understanding of the entire establishment. We were not able to check in for two hours AFTER the check in time. (Around 5PM since the rooms were not clean), but once we got the keys the rooms were clean. The hot water in all three rooms was lukewarm at best and the water pressure kept changing in the shower (assume depending on other rooms water consumption). All three rooms had draining issues in the bathroom and water would back up.

This hotel is great. All kitchen equipment is here, cozy and stylish rooms, very friendly staff. A lot of restaurants nearby, good price of laundry. I like it

It's a new hotel, room is not big, but well designed and equipped with a kitchen. The bed is especially comfortable, shower works well with high pressure. In terms of service, they certainly need to improve a lot. All the staffs at the reception are very friendly except the male manager himself who shows neither welcome or respect for guest. Breakfast is all right, but every day is exactly the same.

It was one of the worst experience ever

We faced a problem regarding housekeeping but the staff immediately solved it with a complimentary room upgrade. Breakfast quality was good but variety could be more. Eg. warm milk for coffee.

I totally recommend

The hotel is brand new and clean. The rooms are extremely stylish, comfortable and you have everything that you need inside for cooking( really everything I mean) and ironing, also a smart TV where you could mirror your phone and watch Netflix. The breakfast is varied and has lot of options. The stuff are very friendly and helpful especially Goktug at the reception whom I’d like to thank. The area has a nearby supermarket, cafes and restaurants so you get all you need by walking distance. If you’d like a calm stay away from the crowded touristic areas I totally recommend.

Genel anlamda kesinlikle temiz bir otel değil. Odaya bir iş arkadaşımla birlikte girdik ve kokudan dolayı oda spreyi talep ettik. Çatal ve kaşıklar kirli, duşakabin aynı şekilde kirliydi. Bar kısmında içki tüketmek istedik barmen hanımefendi yabancı arkadaşlarıma hiç ama hiç kibar davranmadı ve sert bakışlar atarak onları rahatsız etti. Duşakabin içerisindeki duş başlığı bozuktu. Odada tek kullanımlık kişisel bakım malzemelerinin hiçbiri yoktu. Kahvaltı yeterli ve güzeldi ama genel anlamda Marriot kalitesi bekliyorsanız tavsiye etmiyorum.

Kat cikisi şaft tuneli sesi buyuk sorun. Gece uyurken hep ses var sadece asansor hizasi odalarda oluyor. Bunu cozerlerse hersey harika

Yerimi otels com dan aldim, parasinida odedim fakat konaklamaya gidemedim. Oteli 5 kez aramama, yazmama ragmen faturami alamadim.

Odalar rahat, geniş ve İstanbul manzaralı. Personeller ilgili ve çözüm odaklılar. Kahvaltısı gayet çeşitli ve yeterli. Özel aracınız için vale hizmeti olması büyük avantaj. Genel temizlik ve hijyen durumu iyi seviyede. Ailece konakladık ve çok memnun kaldık. İstanbul seyahatlerinde gönül rahatlığı ile tercih edilebilir bir otel.

Hayal Kırıklığı

Otelde yaşadığımız check-in süreci tam anlamıyla hayal kırıklığıydı. Resepsiyonda yalnızca bir kişi görevliydi ve bu, müşteri yoğunluğunu kesinlikle yönetemeyecek bir durumdaydı. Yanımda iki çocukla, yalnızca iki kişinin önümüzde olduğu sırada 50 dakika boyunca ayakta beklemek zorunda kaldık! Bu kabul edilemez bir hizmet düzeyi. Otel yönetimi, müşteri memnuniyeti kavramını tamamen göz ardı etmiş gibi görünüyor. Daha profesyonel bir ekip ve yeterli sayıda personel olmadan bu sektörde başarılı olmanız mümkün değil. Tatilimiz kötü bir başlangıç yaptı ve bu tecrübeyi kimseye tavsiye etmiyorum. The check-in process at this hotel was a complete disaster. There was only one person at the reception, which is absolutely incapable of handling the flow of guests. With two kids, I had to stand in line for 50 minutes, despite only having two people ahead of us! This level of service is utterly unacceptable. It seems like the hotel management has no understanding of customer satisfaction. Without a professional team and sufficient staff, success in this industry is unattainable. Our vacation started on a terrible note, and I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

Oteli beğeniyoruz, daha önce de kalmıştık. Pencere açıkken dışarıdan gelen bir fan gürültüsü dışında herşeyden memnunum.

Yeditepe ve çevresi için çok uygun

Yeditepe Üniversitesine yakın bir yerde konaklama ihtiyacımız olduğu için bu otelli seçtik. Çok mantıklı ve doğru bir karar vermişiz. Konforlu, sessiz, geniş ve ferah bir ortamda konakladık. Farklı yerlere ulaşımda da sorun yaşamadık. Aynı şartlar söz konusu olduğunda kesinlikle tercih edeceğimiz otel olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Resepsiyondaki arkadaş 13.30 ta check in yapmamıza müsade etmedi. Chevk in saati 15.00 dedi ve ilgilenmedi. İki çocuk ile uzun yolculuktan sonra yardımcı olabilirdi. Bu ilk karşılaşma için kötü başlangıç oldu. Oda tasarımı güzel. Mini bulaşık makinası ve mikrodalga var. Herşey düşünülmüş. Evet oda küçük ama kullanışlı. Katlar ağır yemek kokuyor. Temizlik başarılıydı. Çocuklarımın özel yemek kaplarını bile yıkamıştı. Odada ikram mikrodalgada patlatmalık mısır çocuklarımız için hoş oldu. Kahvaltı çok çeşitli değil ama bence yeterince var.

Tesis yıpranmış, mutfak dolaplarının bazı kapakları kırık, bulaşık makinası yerinden çıkmış, banyonuntavanları kabarmış. Oda mobilyası üzerinde sigara yanıkları var.

Oda toparlanır temizleniyor ama temizlik vasat. Oda çok küçük. Hareket alanı kalmıyor. Kahvaltı vasat ama yeterli. Park sorunu yok. Personel çok efendi ve yardımsever. Resepsiyon da çok kaliteli hizmet veriyor.

Slaapbank zat onder de vlekken. Voor de rest was alles prima

Zimmerausstattung ist perfekt. Betten sehr gemütlich.

Temizlik konusunda pek temiz sayılmaz asansör kahvaltı alanı ve koridorlar da ağır bir koku vardı

Çocuğumun ilaçlarını saklamak için buz akülerini dondurucuya koyulmasını istedim, yönetim yasaklamış koymadılar. Banyo duş teknesinşn gideri tıkalıydı, su birikti, zor gitti. Kahvaltıda çeşidi az ve kalitesizdi.

Get a good sleep with good excess to restaurants

If you are looking for a stay near the SAW airport (approx. 30 min. ) this is there place to stay. The staff was very kind - especially the vale and the night staff at the reception.
