Went for Mardi Gras ball. Great location since ball was at convention center

Perfect location for Mardi Gras parades & events at the convention center.

Perfect location and everyone was so nice!! Especially, John Overmeyer, he helped coordinate our bags and parking when we were in a rush. He was so very helpful and polite!

The room was great. Not a fan of the water handle in the shower. Although once adjusted the shower was great. Plenty of water pressure. The registration desk was awesome. She was able to get me a king room so I could get an early check in.

Extremely disappointed in our stay. Although the location is convenient to downtown and the river, the TERRIBLY uncomfortable beds & pillows combined with the loud traffic sounds outside prevented our entire family of three from sleeping both nights. The bathroom did not seem particularly clean (pubic hair on top of the toilet when we first entered the room) and facilities seemed dated. We called the Navigator (concierge) service for extra towels from housekeeping within 10 minutes of checking in because there were not enough; although we were told they would take care of that, we never received the towels we needed within our 2-day stay. Staff at Fathoms restaurant on the first floor seemed surly when we asked to see a menu. Would NOT recommend; we paid over $300/night during our stay plus taxes, fees, etc. and definitely expected more from a "luxury" hotel.

Great bar and restaurant. Breakfast service was slow. Over an hour to get served.

If you stay at this property please try the restaurant fathom When I say that was the best food and drinks that I have had in over a decade I mean it and I am an avid traveler a platinum member and I state this.

Pickleball TV

The staff was excellent. The tv wasnt working at first but they had it fixed within an hour. Also, theres a hidden pickleball court on the rooftop.

Hotel is beautiful and convenient. We enjoyed to the restaurant as well.

I had somehow booked the wrong date. The gentleman who was at the desk found us another room for the night. He was polite, professional and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very convenient and within walking distance to everything downtown. The restaurant and bar in the lobby had a nice vibe and very good service.They had very good live music.

Overnight stay for a cruise . This is a beautiful place and everything was top notch . Will definitely be staying here again .

What a great view!

Beautiful clean and luxurious hotel our room was spacious and so amazing loved all of it. Wish there was a fan in bathroom but otherwise all was way beyond expectations thank you and staff is wonderful

Excellent hotel!

Staff was amazing! Everyone was friendly, helpful and happy to serve. Room was clean and beautful. Bartender was excellent that evening. Our ONLY complaint was breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. We sat at a table for over 30 minutes, had to flag someone down to get water and coffee, had to flag our waitress down again to order and again to ask for more coffee, which never came. We wound up leaving before our food came. The waitress chased us outside trying to apologize but we just kept walking.

I recently stayed at (Renaissance) and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and well-appointed with all the amenities one could need—comfortable bedding, a spacious bathroom, and a stunning view from the window.

Amazing one night stay

We really enjoyed our stay . The Hotel is beautiful and the room was very clean. The valet parking attendants were attentive . Ebony at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exceptional . We will be back

Immaculate!! Casey made checking in so smooth, top customer service skills. Ms. Juniata was so pleasant our hostesses in the restaurant inside the hotel. The room was cleaned. My only complaint was some spots on the sheets which was changed very promptly. The entire stay was wonderful.

Nice and clean

Great stay, easy check in and check out. Beautiful hotel, rooms nice and clean, we had a room with a view that was stunning. The only complaint I have was the buffet in their restaurant. It was not worth $20+ a person.

The TV reception was pretty bad! We couldn’t watch the Olympics because rhe TV kept freezing up!

Okay hotel

Hotel is cery clean but ataff is very vauge on how to operate hotel. We got in the elevators and they wouldn't move. We ask the staff and they acted like we ahould already know that we have to swipe our room key inside the elevator to go to our floor. Also they do jot tell you until you already book that parking is not free like most other hotels because the parking garage which has key swipes to enter and exit is not owned by Renaissance and is 19 dollars a night. And valwt is not recommended. We witnessed a young valet driver flying through the parking garge to park a customers car as if he was tokyo drifting cars for a living. Hampton next to this hotel looks to be a better option with free parking and free breakfast and probably isn't so snobbish.

We liked the proximity of the hotel to other eateries and venues. However, we found the pillows for the bed to be not as comfortable as expected.

We stayed on our way to Universal and the hotel was great! Everyone there is very nice, helpful and welcoming. Great customer service! We have 4 boys and they absolutely loved the pool and splash pad! Highly recommend.

So I will be honest that I was skeptical with looking at reviews. But our experience was off the charts. From the hotel registration desk to the waitresses in the restaurant and the bell hop that just was a sponge of information on what to do in the area. Even when I called about hot water a maintenance gut was at our room immediately. My bad on how to turn on faucet, but he was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!!!!

We had a good stay. The river view was nice and the service was great. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool and splash pad are really nice. The restaurant has good food. We will stay again next time we are in Mobile.

Hotel was fine but Hotels.com advertised “free” parking when booking and at checkout I was charged for parking. Ridiculous because I would take into account when finding a room, parking charges should be posted!

Over priced for condition

Hot showers, friendly staff, and river views make the best stays. Did I mention the location?

To be honest this was one of the worst hotels stays for my wife and me the none stop trains booming all night was one thing I know this is kind of out of your control. But the elevators was a nightmare not only did we have to walk down the stairs from the 16th floor after it stop, and we had to get off it again ditched us Sunday morning on the 25th floor after starting to go down the stairs an employee flagged us down and put us on the employee elevator. I do not know her name but she saved the day seeing I had all of my luggage with me. I also ask for our Bed Lenin to be changed Friday morning due to a large yellow stain on it and hair all over the bed sheets that was not our hair. This grossed my wife out to the point we went a got our on sheets to put down on the bed I ask a young lady at the front desk Friday morning at around 8:30 if she could let housekeeping know to change our bed sheets which never happened I do not like filling out surveys and trashing anyone over media my hope is you all fix the problems so future visits are more enjoyable please fill free to contact me if you want 205-363-4431 Chris R

This hotel is amazing!!! ALL of the staff are super friendly. The pool and hot tub were really nice. The little marketplace was wonderful and offered many choices. Also ordered room service and it was delicious.

Our stay was great. Helpful staff, clean room. The bed was a little lumpy though.

Too expensive and rooms do not have a microwave.

The Hotel was super crowded and the wait time to get something to eat was over an hour. There’s not much of a variety of dishes. The rooms did not even have a microwave which was disappointing and for the nightly rate it should definitely have a microwave!

Weekend getaway with my daughter and grandkids. Other than the rain we had a great time.

Mardi Gras Stay

New pillows would be nice, the ones currently being used go flat as soon as you lay on them. Other than that we love staying here for Mardi Gras. First time staying on the 23rd floor and we loved it.

Riverview Review

Great experience. Bell staff was prompt in getting luggage to and from our room. Only minor issue was waiting for my car in valet. Called down to have car brought around. Came down to no car. Young lady was working the valet stand. She asked me my ticket number. I gave it to her and she left. I assumed it was to get my car. 10-15 minutes later she comes out with a cart full of luggage. Shortly after, a young man comes over and asked if he can help. I explain the situation and he brought my can up. Is it a priority for the system to handle luggage first? Or take care of a smaller task for less tip money? Overall, great stay as usual with an RSA property. Thanks, Thomas Bradley

Don’t pay for river view

Paid for river view in which a bolted down couch facing into the room blocked any type of sitting to enjoy the view. Table for computer was so close yiu could not use that as well unless you are a child

Room was great. Food service poor - dining room and bar overwhemed, then room service 1 hour wait and ice cold pizza when it arrived

The property was okay but the room wasn't as nice as you would expect beds were hard and pillows were horrible I will not stay there again

For the last 25 years i have celebrated new years eve and new years day in Mobile Alabama and for the last 5 i have spent it a the riverview in downtown Mobile. I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Good location. Walkable to events and dining. Comfortable beds. Reasonable price for hotel star rating even considering stayed during weekend for New Years. Would stay again.

New Years Eve Festivites in Mobile

Our stay here was very comfortable and enjoyable. It was in a great location for our New Years Eve festivities. The staff was very hospitable and the property was very clean. The room was spacious and the shower pressure was great. My only wish was for a fridge and microwave. While i believe Mariott thought of everything; i believe you neglected to think of parents who needs to keep infants/toddlers milk cold and food for them needs to be heated. Also, those who have medical needs may need access to those. I hope you all consider adding those to rooms for those reasons. I travel regularly and i always prefer to opt for hotels with microwaves and a fridge. Great job otherwise.

Great place to ring in the New Year!!!

We loved our stay!!! Staff was friendly & helpful. Rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated, & clean. Hotel was in walking didtance to everything we wanted to do. We went for a concert at the Saenger Theatre & decided to ring in the New Year here. Enjoyed every second of it!!!
