Beautiful surroundings and quiet neighborhood.
Lovely stay for a nice adventure
Nice stay to explore stockholm
We had an amazing stay, incredibly value for money !! We didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast had hommus and other unique spreads and was so tasty, my friend and I loved it. Plus the surrounding area is so cute with lakes and very quaint and filled with nature
The hostel is situated on nice island near city. Very good breakfast. Noisy in the evenings, outdoor bar.
A nice touch off the main track, but very close to it. Room was comfortable, breakfast very nice. The outside bar/eatery is obviously also a local hangout, where people gather to socialize. Close to the water -- pleasant!
We checked in early, which went super well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as advertised and was very clean! Super nice stay, very good for the price. Highly recommend!
lovely setting
Beautiful part of town. Staff very helpful. Lovely old building.
Perfect for a couple of days stay!
Reimersholme was in a great location, only 10 minutes walk to Hornstall for the metro into the more central areas and also in a really quiet area with nice bars only a couple of minutes away. The staff were really helpful and facilities were well maintained. Perfect twin room for friends visiting friends while away.
Outstanding staff, central but nature all around.
We prefer to stay at this hotel every time we visit Stockholm (we live in Denver). The surroundings are absolutely amazing. Nature and plenty of great bathing spots, at the same time being right in the action of Södermalm with shopping, restaurants and bars. Awesome changes and improvments since the new owners recently took over, the place looks great and the staff is extremely accommodating, professional, friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is great!
Simple but good, would stay again
Visited Stockholm for a conference in May. Was glad to find somewhere affordable at relatively short notice (much cheaper than most hotels in Stockholm). The info provided about late arrival (after reception was closed) was impeccable. On the first night quite late I accidently left my room without my keycard and was able to call an attendant on the front door intercom who came to help swiftly. The bed was very comfy, with a memory foam topper and good, soft duvet and pillows. Everything was quite basic but very clean. Unfortunately the chair in the room was too high for the little desk, so it wasn't suitable for working at, but the local area is very hip with lots of good coffee shops and cafes/restaurants so I was able to find places to do some work and enjoy a nice meal and environment. The hotel is right next to the water with a nice walk around, and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest T-bana station. The staff were friendly. I didn't have the breakfast at all though because there were no vegan options. This is quite unusual for Stockholm and the area that the hotel is in, as vegan options are provided in most places (so it wasn't hard to find something nearby, but a bit of a hassle). The bathroom was shared but it was ok. However, the doors are all on springed brackets so they close quite heavily, and the walls in my room rattled when someone in a neighbouring room let theirs slam shut (which one side seemed to do every few minutes one day, god knows why!)
Reimersholme Hotel provided what I expected for a very affordable price. Check in and out were very flexible and the staff was nice and helpful. Room (20) was a bit small and didn't have a great view, but again, perfectly fine for the value. Generally cleanliness was good, although one of the shared toilets was clogged one day, again understandable, didn't check again to see if / how fast it was fixed. Would have liked a do not disturb sign, while sleeping in as cleaners came in daily. Would have appreciated reception times being clearly stated on their website, only found them out after booking with my confirmation email. Location was lovely, near public transport and amenities. There were also good views around the hotel, if not available from my room. The property was also about a 30 minute walk from Central Stockholm (Gamla Stan etc.) and near the "hipstery" Södermalm and generally all the walks I took had nice scenery. Would totally recommend and revisit the hotel again, if travelling on a budget. Nothing fancy, but exactly what I expected - good value for money and everything important worked!
Quiet location, nice staff, great for the price. I would stay here again, just make sure to get a metro card to make getting to the city center more accessible
Nice location. Walk around the island. Take a bus to the subway station or just walk to the subway. Lovely parks are nearby. Expedia show this to have Free Breakfast. But hotel claims breakfast is SEK 85.00 per person. We just ate for free because that is what was stated on our receipt. Breakfast was simple but good for us. Everything else was adequate for us.
Overall a nice hotel with clean amenities and very comfortable beds. We stayed on the top floor - access to it was a bit challenging because of a spiral staircase and a very old lift (elevator). It worked for us though and it was not an issue for us. We were also able to do laundry while we were there as the hotel has a washer and dryer at the facility.
tranquille
lovely atmosphere very nice and friendly staff
Beautiful spot, perfect sized room
We stayed here on our first night in Stockholm. We showed up a little early but they were just finishing up with our room. Very happy with the size of the room. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the bathrooms. There were two shared bathrooms both of which felt dirty, were dark, and did not smell very nice. If they just improved the bathroom slightly, I would give this place 5 stars. Everything else was perfect. Not in downtown Stockholm but a beautiful, quiet area (there is a bus stop about 200ft away so it was perfect). Would definitely stay again!
NOT A HOTEL - this is a hostel.
Do not be deceived - this is NOT a hotel. It is a hostel. I booked a room for two friends and me, and I noticed that it said "3 persons, shared bathroom." While this may be explicit enough for some, I took this to mean that there was one bathroom for the 3 of us, not that we would share a bathroom with the rest of the hostel. The bathrooms are also not separated by gender, which made us rather uneasy. The rest of the hostel (staircases, exposed construction, un-enclosed elevator, reception area) was pretty grungy. Room didn't seem very clean...dirt/dust on floor and I had a unshakeable feeling that the curtains hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Beds are Ikea and not very comfortable. Our safe in our room did not work either, which was disconcerting given how unsafe the entire hostel seemed. Thankfully, once we realized this, we were able to work with Hotels.com to lock us in to only one night of our 4 night reservation without any kind of additional fee, so we found other accommodations for the remainder of our vacation. In short - if you're down to rough it, maybe this place is OK. Just not what we expected. Though Stockholm is a super pricy place, even the comparably "low" price of the hostel could not be justified.
is a hostel - not an hotel. misnamed
Bunk rooms very small, and not appropriate for longer term stay. Bathroom space inadequate and barely suitable for sharing. Too many people required to use 2 bathroom/shower/and toilet in B'roI'm. Staff wonderful. Went out of their way to help.
Nice hostel, quiet, clean good for families
We are a 4 person family travelling and the 4 bunkbed room was perfect for us. Bathrooms were close by the room, hotel was quiet and personnel really friendly. We came in late, after closing of the reception, but we called the number on the phone by the door and got help right away and got our keys to our room. The hotel is simple, but clean and quiet. It serves breakfast, something for everyone, and one can save some money by preordering it, just contact them by email. We had a rental car, and added parking by the hotel by emailing them. As with any big city it is easier to get around with the subway or bus. The area around the hotel is pretty, and have some wonderful walk paths around the island and the nearby islands. Very safe area. Good eats and shopping closeby at Sodermalm.
Short stay in Stockholm
The rooms are basic, but adequate - the shared bathrooms are not very convenient, particularly since there are no washbasins in the rooms. The location is good, in leafy surroundings near the river and a short distance from the metro.
Get Away
Very Good.
PRISON CELL ROOM
DONT STAY THERE ! unless if you're looking for a prison cell type room , cold and noisy
Low cost hostel accommodation
This is about 30 minutes walk to the old city, along a nice sea/river front, with lots of boats. About 10 minutes to the underground station. For the low price by local standards, you get the smallest room I have ever stayed in, with a window - with reinforced frosted glass, that opens onto a corridor. Clean etc. Shared showers, toilets etc. Breakfast is good value. Several kitchens strung through the warren of rooms in Annex, with lots of little stickers and signs telling you what to do and not to do. On a tight budget, I would recommend it, but no frills of any kind.
No "frills" and perfect
This was a secure and affordable place from which to explore the city. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was well worth the money. The bed was very comfortable and the room and facilities were clean. The nearest bus stop is less than a block away and the subway is about a five minute walk. If you dont want to pay for mints on the pillow, this is a perfect place to stay.
Limited as a hostel
I booked a basic room which turned out to be just that, a cell with shared shower/toilet and no external window. I stayed in the hostel annex, which wasn't the ideal. There were three separate kitchen areas, none of which had much in the way of utensils so I had to borrow a kettle from one area and a fork and cup from another. The occupants of one room had appropriated an entire fridge for their own use and part of a second one as well. Breakfast was good although it wasn't included in the price.
Is ok
Is ok, is just not central... U have to take the metro and then walk about 10 minutes
Quaint and cute
The only thing i have as criticism for this hotel is that there was no A/c in my room, that also had no window. I was cooking, it had to be over 30 degrees in my room, but they did provide a small fan that made it tolerable. Everything else was great.
Huge disappointment
This is a hostel, not a hotel. This review is for the Annex. Steep curved stairs, no lift. My single room with shared bath was a converted broom closet with no window or ventilation -- unless you include the 3" gap between the door and floor. Only one socket in the (only) outlet worked. No sink. No alcohol allowed. Requested another room - denied. Owner said I'd requested single room, no window -- this is NOWHERE in the Hotels.com description or on any of my paperwork. I don't mind how small it was, but with no window/air, I felt like Harry Potter under the staircase. Bathrooms: no towels or drier; only 2 women's showers on the floor for 20 rooms, and they didn't lock. Children's play area directly above the room made sleeping difficult. Seem to be families with small children living here; a lot of ruckus. Did not enjoy any other part of the hostel, as I stayed away until I had to sleep--and that was badly. Two energetic thumbs down.
basic but fine!
rooms are basic but comfortable beds and pillows. Shower was annoying as it would turn off whilst you wash, and you must push it in again. the location is very far from main city; public transport is expensive. we walked to the old town and it took 40 minutes. This hotel was basic but it was all we needed for 2 nights.
Ok
I stayed in a single room without windows. To me this worked fine and the room is large enough considering the price, etc... (but without character) however I have to say that paying a bit more I got a much better room at a hostel close to slussen in the following week. My main complaint is about the lack of sound-proofing. There is a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor which means that external sounds made by other guests are audible inside the room. Although the hostel was not really noise, the sleep was disturbed by other guests. The shower doors should be fixed as well since they don't really work. It would be nice to provide some liquid soap. There is a nice collective kitchen but nothing else. I think this is not really a hostel to meet people, make parties, etc.... which is really good in fact. Internet worked very well and cleaning was not an issue. I have to say that I felt a bit pushed to leave the room before 11am since some staff knocked my room at 10:00am, not sure if by mistake because she apologize but that was not nice because I was still sleeping (it was Sunday). Checkout should be later as well, 12pm is more realistic I would say.
Very noisy hostel instead of a quiet hotel!
When I booked my room I didn't have high expectations about this place as the room was cheap. I didn't need a TV or have breakfast included. I just needed a simple room where I could sleep for a few nights and have a shower. The room I booked was advertised as windowless, but this was incorrect. There is a very large skylight in the room and no means to cover it up yourself. This meant that I was woken up at 6 am by bright daylight. I had to ask reception staff on 2 occasions to cover the skylight, as it had not been done after the first time I made the request. The reception staff was friendly and apologetic and had the problem sorted after 2 days. The accommodation is advertised as a hotel, but the annex part is definitely more of a hostel, as it has 2 kitchens. The latter would be a plus, if the walls in my room had not been paper thin. My room was situated between one of the communal kitchens and the cleaner's cupboard and I could hear absolutely everything from my room! From the cleaner stocking his/her trolley at 7AM to the large group of other visitors cooking their late dinners. Needless to say, I got very little sleep during my stay at Reimersholme, which badly affected my fun weekend plans. I travel to Stockholm quite often and I had hoped to make this my go-to place as I loved the location, but after my recent stay I can safely say that I will never come back here again!
Cheap hotel; quality as expected
For the price, the hotel matched my expectations. Shared bathroom and kitchen, no outside window in room. Just a bed for the night, served it's purpose!
Very friendly staff
My niece and I visited Stockholm for sightseeing and drove to some nearby towns our ancestors left to go to the USA. We were looking for a clean and reasonably-priced hotel, and we certainly found it at Reimersholme Hotel. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Terrible service
This hotel was very underwhelming. Rooms are scantily furnished no TV, No hair dryer. Our first night when we returned to our room the key card didn't work. We had to call repeatedly to have someone come and let us in. Very noisy with kitchen too close to rooms. Reception is not open at night so if you have a problem you are on your own. Very poor experience I would not recomend this hotel.
Basic Accommodation in Good Location
Best Feature - Location. Lovely Beach at Langholmen only 5 mins walk away. Hostel-Style Shared Kitchen and Bathrooms a bit of a throwback to backpacking days... Good experience overall, and good rate.
Great location.
Stayed in the Annexe, which is like a hostel. Very adequate. Friendly, clean, quiet. Make sure you do not leave anything in your room when you leave as it gets cleared away.
If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this is more then enough. Close and convenient to get around by either bus, metro or even a nice walk alongside the lake to get in to sodermalm and the old city. Nothing to fancy but you get what you pay for and it was definitely worth the money. Nice and friendly service and free wifi available.
sleep and go
we have been here for 1 night, travelling to world hockey championship. Restrooms and showers in good, clean condition and enough quantity (i think about 6, maybe more on the floor).
Excellent service
I was pleased with the services at the Hotel. The receptionist on Saturday and Sunday was very excellent.
well worth the money
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They even run errands for you.It is a hotel with basic comfort, hence the very low price. Close to the centre of Stockholm the hotel fulfills the needs of a businessman, who just needs a bed to sleep in. Very recommendable.
Happy stay
I was stayed here after awfull experience to stay in another hotel but this hotel make me relax and comfort feel. I enjoy to stay here.
Comfortable room
The room is small but clean. Breakfast is also included. The stuff is friendyl and helpful. The nearest metro station is Hornstull. You can take bus 40 at Bergsunds strand (opp the metro station. Bus stop is opp of ICA supermarket) and alight at the 3rd stop. So you don't have to walk to the hotel.
Good base for family visit to Stockholm
Very pleasant stay, helpful staff, good location, very large room with 5 beds and bathroom which was excellent for family.
You get what you pay for
The location in it self was not bad at all, You could just walk to the old prison area, which was nice. Going from the hotel to the subway, there is a great Italian restaurant just on the main road. The food was delicious, and so was the coffee! Girl at the desk was most helpful and friendly, The breakfast was included, and was satisfactory, nothing fancy, but got us a good start for the day. We did however have some issues with the room; it was too hot, due to the radiator being on even if you turned it off, and one of the beds smelled because the top mattress. So we had to ask the desk lady to do something about that, which was sorted out by our return in the evening. The only really bad thing I would like to comment on was the noise level. In the morning our door was simply shaking every time someone slammed their room door in the hallway. The noise of the door slamming woke us up every time, which was annoying. But the place is cheap, and the location decent, when you consider it only takes about 5 min to walk to the subway.
Get what you pay for
Pros- Affordable, nice breakfast, clean room, nice staff. Cons- Somewhat remote from sites, shared floor bathroom, room smelled like my grandma, neighbors on floor hit on my wife.
Nice and friedly staff
Really nice and friendly atmosphere. Good food. Recommend
Cheap and clean
The only bad things i can think of would be the location and the shower. The location is not bad, but its a 12 min walk from the station, not 5min like it says in the description. The shower was not bad but it was irritating. You have to push a button every 20 sec to make water come out. There was no queue to the bathrooms though. And they were clean. On the positive side, i was surprised to see how clean and fresh the hotel was! It was really cheap and at the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also very fresh and nice. I can definitely recommend this hotel for a budget weekend trip to Stockholm.
Simple but clean with nice staff
A simple hotel that is well managed. Very friendly staff. The standard is quite low, you get what you pay for, but everything is clean and working well.
Cheap & cheerful
Hotel was clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for a short city break.
Location wist the Hotel is on a lovely Island right beside the edge of the bridge that joins it to Sodermalm Island. It is about a 30min walk from Gamla Stan or the City Centre but the Metro station is within a 5 min walk. There are a couple of pubs and restaurants within a short walk of the Hotel. The Hotel itself is very clean and comfortable and we couldnt fault it or the staff in anyway. Breakfast was also very nice with a good variety of foods to choose from.
Perfect Crashpad - but a way out of town
Stayed here on Saturday night, 15th October. Check in lady was very friendly and lent me an ironing board and iron. The room was basic with bunk beds but if you're just looking for somewhere to rest your head you don't need any more. Breakfast was fine. The only issue with this hotel is it's location away out of town. The T-Bana station is not too far if you use that. We took a taxi back from östermalm at 4 in the morning and that cost SEK380.
Affordable hotel in nice neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay, although the setting is definitely more hostel than hotel. Our room had three single beds (two were bunk beds), and was very simple, but nice. Service from the front desk was excellent - we arrived late, but the person on duty cookes us up a great meal (including food for our vegetarian daughter), and accommodated us well. The bathroom in the hall was shared, but never crowded. Wi fi worked in the lobby, but not in our room.
For a "budget" hotel I was very
For a "budget" hotel I was very pleasantly surprised at the well kept and modern hotel. The only draw back was that the bathrooms were in the corridor but there were lots of them so no queing problems! Breakfast was OK. The staff were fantastic, especially Peter in the reception gave exceptionally good service and even phoned me at home when we had problems with booking the right room - excellent!
Great place to stay if you want
Great place to stay if you want quiet, and the staff are extremely helpful. Is located in the older part of the city and you have to catch a bus or metro into town. We had no trouble getting around.
Stay away
Never booking this place again, stay away!
.
Väldigt slitet. Toaletterna var ganska otrevliga. Frukosten erbjöd inte riktigt det som angavs.
Gammelt men rent hotell.
God frukost i fantastisk utemiljö.
Nice location on a beautiful place. The hotel is old an expensive. Nice staff and very good breakfast buffet.
Very nice place water and river nearby easy to get metro nice prices
Bra hotell
Trevlig ställe, fräscht o bra läge
Rufsete og bohemsk
Flott sted med rufsete og bohemsk stil. Anbefales. Mye liv om kveldene (helg).
Reymerholme i solen
Rent.
Reimersholm Hotel
Fint sted, dog ikke den vilde service. Hyggeligt om aftenen. Med gårdhaven. Værelse ok. Bad og toilet på gangen, ikke optimalt.
Lyhört, karaoke utanför rummet till sent Sjabbigt rum Frukost ok
Kan rekommenderas
Trivsamt, rent o snyggt, trevlig personal. Samt en jättebra frukost
Horribelt
Bra frukost.
Även olika sorters småkryp i rummet. Trångt ytrymme Dåligt med val av frukost. Inte mycket i matväg heller. Problem med att komma in till rummet.
Sköna sängar och mycket bra frukost.
Bra
Sunkigt
Sunkigt, dålig frukost, ett väldigt bohemiskt ställe.
Perfekt vandrarhem!
Supertrevligt boende till sitt pris! Frukosten var jättebra - över all förväntan. Vi kommer tillbaka!
Väldigt mysigt hotell. Enkel standard, men fanns allt man behövde. Bra frukost, trevlig personal.
Bohemian relaxed hotel on quite island.
Reimersholme hotel is situated on a quite island and have a great outdoor cafe/bar in an undisturbed yard close to the water. There is easy access to the metro, shopping and restaurant area at Hornstull. The hotel is a bohemian type with recycled/up-cycled furniture and a relaxed atmosphere. This is a hangout for many young professionals, student and tourists but probably not ideal for families.
Sköna sängar. Lugnt. Rent på toaletter, rum m m. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost.
Enkelt men trivsamt.
Helt ok vistelse

Great place to stay
