Bad experience

The hotel didn't have our booking, even though we booked confirmed from Expedia website , we have wait for our room for 30 min to get the room, more over they want to keep our car key with them even though there was individual parking in the cellar, the room service took nearly one hour after nearly 5 call to find out the where is the food, the reception staff asking us to forward the email conformation but not willing to give wifi saying it is chargeable. Why I have to pay for his incompetent for not doing is job properly, I booked hotel based onrating as three star but it is not even one star. It was just a like road side hotel. The bathroom was no clean, the glass door in the bathroom not fitted properly. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you want yo have bad experience. The breakfast was normal please don't stay in this hotel.

Very Bad Experience

The hotel staff is not at all supportive.. To get a service a bare minimum of 3 calls are required.. room donot have 24 hours hot water.. the fluorescent lights donot work.. the food takes a bare minimum of 2 hours to be delivered in room.. on top of that when asked for complaint book, was not provided with one..

Will not stay here again...

Mango Hotel Jaipur - Booked thru hotels.com for two nights stay, with free b/fast, along with my wife. Initially I was allocated a room on the II Floor, where the central a/c was not working. It was very hot. When I complained, we were shifted to the III Floor. The rooms are small, with glass doors for the toilet and bathroom. This gives a false impression that the rooms are big, when you see the photo on the websites! The psychedelic lighting under the bed and other areas may not be liked by most, me included. The staff members were generally indifferent. But Pinky and Santosh took special care of our requests, within their limitations. Dont use the hotel car for local trips. They will rip you off. Call a local travel agent independently for a much better deal (eg. Rs.400/- for airport drop as against Rs.1000 for the hotel car). Though my booking site confirmed free wi-fi, the manager gruffly said it is not included. Not worth staying a second time!!

A decent, steady, comfy hotel - good value!

Overall I'd say this was a good hotel to stay in - on the whole the staff were very helpful. The hotel itself is quite nice and modern with comfortable rooms and good bathroom facilities. There were a couple of small negatives to our stay such as not always having the complimentary bottled water in our rooms and my parents' room not having towels and then there being a 20 minute wait for them to bring some up. Also there did tend to be a lot of faffing around - we stayed three separate times and it took at least 15 minutes to check us in each time. But these are not major issues - overall the place is clean, modern and pleasant and the staff were good at arranging taxis or drivers (for longer trips) when needed. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent hotel without paying through the roof.

Not too thrilled at the stay

The rooms are decent, but since the windows are sealed, there is a stained smell in the rooms. the rooms were not completely cleaned before i checked in. There were diapers and toothbrushes in the room, which were left by the previous guests. The service is good, the hotel staff is fairly prompt in responding to any requests

NIce hotel in Jaipur

I have stayed in the hotel for my visit in month of Nov 2013. Hotel is good, rooms were ok and service was well in place. But the food in the in-house restaurant was not upto the mark.

Comfy stay

It's a great hotel with new modern style of its own. Stay was very comfortable. Good clean room and good food as well. Location is very convenient. I will recommend this hotel! They can improve the spread for breakfast as well collection of beers need to improve.

Can be Better

Its a nice enough hotel but dissapointed with other facilites - for example TV has no sports channel - once has to subscribe to watch channels - breakfast was more or less the same every day which is not catered for "foreign travellers" , Dry cleaning is very expensve and the hotel chared Rupees 260 for two soft drinks where as the same costs - Staff are friendly but I would not stay at this hotel in future

Family Hotel

Very nice and clean hotel with friendly staff, good restaurant, downside, the bathroom and WC in the room is covered with glass door's and walls which is shame because if you are sharing a room with somebody other then your partner, unfortunately, it gives no privacy.

ADVANTAGES : Food : Good and very good. Rooms comfortable. Staff: very courteous and helpful. Location : in the center of the city, next to city center mall (200 mts.) opposite idbi bank atm. Parking, Swimming pool on terrace (dirty) and bar one of the excellent places to sit in evenings. Disadvantages: 1)Slow Service (Room service) Room service is slow due to less staffing and all of them occupied in restaurant. 2)Breakfast timing : buffet only 7:30 am to 10:30 am. (i prefer to sleep more n wake up late.) 3) if you ask for a tea in room during breakfast or dinner time it might take 20-30 minutes to get you. 4) No dedicated menu in rooms or menu for in room dinning. Charged differently for same item twice. So need to carefully sign bills. once charge 80 rupees and again 88 for the same item. (Turn Offs) This property has 47 rooms, which includes 3 suites and rest deluxe rooms. Out of 44 deluxe rooms 3 rooms are bigger in size and rest 41 rooms small size. The picture of the rooms we see on the website on expedia and hotel are of those 3 bigger deluxe rooms and chances are you will hardly get those. So kind of pictures are misleading. Special Attraction : roof top has a bar and their is a glass extension outside building held with steal rods. there is a glass chair and glass table kept. When you sit there you can see through this glass on ground floor and thats thrilling.
