I recently stayed at the Regent Porto Montenegro in Tivat, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The hotel’s atmosphere, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The surroundings were beautiful, and everything felt luxurious and relaxing. I couldn’t be happier with our visit and will definitely return in the future! Highly recommend!

Perfect and kind service

Very beautiful place. Wonderful view. Restaurant have a view to marine and food awesome and tasty. The best hotel in our trip

Likes: excellent location/lovely view from room …and good facilities overall. Less likeable features: complexity of moving from one wing of the building to another …plus coffees/teas somewhat lukewarm on occasion.

This property is amazing, it has great views, access to multiple shops and restaurants, just a few feet away. It would be great for them to have an area to safely swim in the ocean… there are always opportunities 😉

Excellent property

This property is beautiful. We had a lovely, huge two room suite facing over the marina. It had a large balcony where we could watch the world go by whilst we were having a cocktail in the evenings. The staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. The area is fun with lots of great restaurants and a very pleasant laid back vibe. We had a great stay!

The area is very clean and chic , the hotel was amazing. In terms of everything. Location , service , helpful staff. I would not consider staying in any of the other hotels to be honest. It is the best.

Front of house reception staff need proper training. I called reception when I arrived to complain as I got the wrong room. To my horror the receptionist (male) started shouting at me saying I need to take it up with my travel agent and it’s not their problem. Can you believe this from a 5* hotel? It should be a warning to everyone, don’t expect 5* service like you would get in more developed parts of the world here. It’s simply not up to international standard

Our group had an excellent 7 night stay at the Regent Porto Montenegro in June 2023. Our rooms were exceptionally well kept; all of the staff, from reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant staff and spa personnel were absolutely first class. Breakfast in Murano was very good. The hotel is very well placed for restaurants around the Port. The Spa was excellent and treatments were very competitively priced for a 5* hotel. I'm sure the soon-to-be-open 'Maya Bay' restaurant in the hotel will be similarly fantastic. The Onyx bar is a great spot for a nightcap. My only small gripe was that pool bar service was sometimes self-service, whereas on other days the team came round the pool areas regularly taking drinks and food orders, but this pales in comparison with how great our visit was overall. I have no reservation in recommending this hotel to anyone considering staying here. 10/10

Deserving of its 5 stars . Really enjoyed my stay

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We had the most fabulous room, overlooking the Marina. Our Room was fantastic, huge balcony and bathroom. We loved the murano restaurant, for breakfast and we ate there twice for dinner. Sonja was fantastic and Marco at dinner was very patient with us, when we were looking after our grandson. The pool area was lovely, which overlooked the gorgeous marina and mountains that surround the property are just stunning. We loved our stay.

Great hotel, average food

Location and hotel was great. Quality of breakfast and service at breakfast was not at level we expected. breakfast showed up late, coffee was cold. And I have to admit, we had the worst omelettes ever, it was clear they did not bother using fresh eggs Chef and kitchen management ought to reconsider how they prepare food. It is shameful that such a great hotel to setve such lousy food.

Amazing service and such a beautiful hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Truly a 5* hotel and experience.. In summary .. ‘awesome’ !

3rd visit & still as fantastic

Another excellent stay at The Porto Regent.This time with family to celebrate my 50th birthday. This beautiful hotel continues to be one of the finest places we’ve stayed at during our travels. Fantastic location, beautiful pool, but what really sets it apart, is the truly excellent 5 star service from every member of staff who work there.

Excellent for short stay

Beautiful resort in proximity of a small town with all it's amenities. Excellent restaurants. Beautiful pool area.

We visited early in the holiday season however, the staff could not be faulted. Friendly, polite, nothing a problem. Very relaxed and chilled atmosphere weather drinking by the pool or light dining at the bar. Could not think of a single area to improve. Loved our stay!

Just perfect for a ahort break. Wonderful location. Well-placed to explore the area too..

In one word I would describe my stay as amazing. Everything was just perfect, a full 5-star service. The best part of my stay was an amazing and very nice and friendly staff. Will recommend and will come back.

This was a new well mentioned beautiful property beautiful location with a beautiful view very nice restaurant around walking distance staff was very helpful Bf was great loved our stay

The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Gordana in particular was a joy to talk to. Also the valets, servers and hostesses were amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure all our needs were taken care of. Thank you!

By far one of the nicest hotels i have stayed at. I am a hotel owner myself and i would like to increase my standards to that of this property.

The bed in room was terrible. Extra extra soft and used. You just dround in it. Asked to replace the matress. They just add a uselesd layer.

The hotel provides first-class service. Whether it is breakfast or room service. However, last few days during my stay , the Montenegrin government finally succumbed to the pressure from the WHO and refused to allow hotels to provide dining services, which was really disappointing.

THE BEST HOTEL TAHT I HAVE EVER STAYED

This hotel is by far the best hotel that I have ever stayed and I have stayed in many luxurious hotels in the world even the members of Leading Hotels of the World but Regent in Tivat is by far better than all of them! I have never been so amazed with the hotel. See you very soon and thanks to the most polite stuff ever!

The most fantastic hotel *****

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The service is the best we have ever experinced, and the setting is fabulous. Absolutely outstanding in every area- can't wait to return.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The views are amazing.

Great stay

Hotel was fantastic, great stay and breakfast was very good. Only downsides were check out took a long time due to lack of staff and housekeeping waking us up at 10.30pm. Would recommend and stay again

Fantastic hotel and lovely staff

Our stay was part of a last minute break and we decided to treat ourselves to a night here. From the minute we walked in up to the moment we left the staff were very welcoming. Hotel is fantastic. The only slight disappointment was the restaurant which was a bit underwhelming in comparison to everything else. Breakfast was very good though.

This hotel is quite simply the best you will find in Tivat or Kotor and we have stayed in several over the years. The staff are outstanding, in a class of their own for Montenegro. Nothing was too much trouble and handled with genuine friendliness and efficiency. We stayed this time in Aqua Wing, first floor so on same level as pool area which is beautiful with lots of additional small shallow pools particularly useful if you had young children. Our new, modern room was lovely even although it was at the lower end rate with a comfortable bed and large bathroom and balcony. Excellent restaurants are within just a few minutes walk away as is a inexpensive ferry service to take you to Kotor, Perast or Herceg Novi. There’s also plenty of private tours should you prefer something more independent. You will not regret for a second choosing this hotel. Five stars all round.

A break in 🇲🇪 montenegro

What can i say i booked this hotel through trip advisor feed back as being gone to visit montenegro for the first time well it didn’t disappoint me the hotel is exceptional and the facilities provided are 5 stars

The setting and view is gorgeous. Restaurant Murano is excellent for dinner. Included breakfast is wonderful. The common areas of the hotel are very lovely. The rooms are pleasant but not wonderful.

Wedding party

Beautiful room and view. Generally helpful staff although it took some prodding to allow us into our room early to prepare for a wedding that evening. So thanks to the associate who made that happen. Breakfast very good. Wait staff is not as attentive as we in the USA are accustomed to.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It really is 5 stars all the way. The hotel was perfect. We loved the design, the service, the food, the location and the hospitality was second to none. We just wished we could have stayed longer; we were only there for 4 days. This is definitely going to be our new bolt hole. We can't wait to go back!
