Very good staff helping and very kind just a bit away from Metro

A good place to stay

Thr hotel is located about 40 minutes drive away from Shanghai Pudong airport. We were only staying one night so this was OK and can’t comment on ease of access to Shanghai via public transport. The check-in process was easy. The reception person was very friendly and helpful. The room was OK although the power supply tripped when we had the kettle and the lamp stand on at the same time. The man on reception came to our room quickly and tried to resolve the issue himself. Eventually we were given a new kettle and we resolved not to use both items at the same time. The hotel was dated decoratively. The best bit of this hotel was breakfast which was superb with every appetite catered for. There were some great cafes nearby. One we enjoyed enormous platefuls on home made noodles with beef and vegetables for around £4 each.

Neglected hotel

This hotel is in advanced state of neglect. Its probably seen better days. Staff speak nearly 0 English. Breakfast is a mess. Restaurant not big enough for number of guests. You go get food and when you return to your table it has been occupied by someone else. Staff dont make any effort. Food runs out at 9. Gym floor is like an abandoned haunted hotel. Reminds me of Stephen King's "the shining". Change room renovation never finished and place is abandoned no place to shower. Room temperature control doesn't work and room is always too hot and impossible to sleep. This place is best avoided as the price isn't even good.

Good hotel for business stay

The hotel location is close to a nice expat area which offers many nice places, restaurants and bars to visit. The service was very good. I asked for several things like more bottled water, towels, etc. and they service took care of everything right away. The cleaning of the room was good. I really enjoyed the selection of the breakfast buffet. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much.

Good hotel for a business stay

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My booking said that I am eligible for dinner too which I had to negotiate in the beginning and first they were hesitant but granted me this service. In the end I got what I booked. The cleaning of the room was okay and there are minor things which I noticed that were not made or taken care off. The breakfast has a nice selection of food and the service there is good.

More like a 2.5-star than the stated 4-star hotel

My first review on hotels.com and I have to. This hotel is not so valued for money compared to the others in the same area (commercial district I suppose). The room is pretty spacious with proper condition, quite clean overall. However, breakfast is quite terrible especially when you need to add a significant amount of money. The only thing that was good was the freshly made fried eggs! Gym was bad too with the minimal basic equipment. When I arrived at 7pm, the lights and AC were off and I had to turn on everything myself. It was probably the worst hotel's gym I've ever been. Last but not least, the customer service and attitude of SOME of the staffs here were quite terrible. This is a 4-star hotel so I should expect the same level of service as it should be. With this budget, please choose another hotel nearby (where there are plenty of options).

Great hotel

I stayed in this hotel many times this year already and everytime it's been great. It's quiet, not too far from century avenue and the staff really do their best to help if needed.

Overall the stay is good, however, the facilities is aging.

A bit dated and need to improve on hygiene

The hotel is ok and I booked because the Regal Brand. However, some of the staff are quite new and certainly did not live up to the standard. And no shuttle bus to Pudong airport as advertised.

I had a wonderful stay over there.

Everything is great except that a cockroach was found in the cabinets under TV.

Close to Airport

A great place for Pudong, relatively close to airport. Quiet. Nice breakfast buffet. The best part is the very friendly staff who were very approachable and proactive in their service.

Staff were great and helpful

The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were great. The concierges were very helpful in making sure we were able to get the taxi to the right destination. My only complaint in the main areas of the hotel (lobby, bar area) the heat wasn't turned on. I had to actually wear a jacket to the main lobby to sit and have a beer and something to eat. The main areas were quite cold. I would stay here again.

OK for this area.

A decent value if you need a hotel in this area. Comfort and cleanliness were good. Breakfast was fine. A problem was that I thought since it was close to PVG it would be great, but traffic in that area is HORRIBLE; the location probably added an hour for only 8-10 miles extra. As well, the massage was bad (really needed one after 25 hours of travel to get there). Save your money.

Great hotel!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The bed is wonderful and you can pay 48RMB ($8) to warch 24 hours of movies. The room also has an 220V adapter for Apple computer. (This is NOT a converter!) The staff speaks English and is willing to help you. About 30 minutes by cab from Pudong Airport. (200 RMB). Nice breakfast. Starbucks is across the street.

Degraded since time

This hotel was good last year. But appear lack of maintenance as windows sealing not proper as loud creaking sound of wind was disturbing. Bath room scupper choked. For 3 days stayed in hotel internet not working at all was offered to use internet in thier office

Quite by Chinese Standards

A little tricky to find, even for locals, but being off the main road makes for a quieter location. Had room facing LGN storage facility. Convenient to Pudong Airport and local business but had to take a taxi to the Metro. A/C fan was rather load only simple temp control.

Luxury hotel in good price

The room was clean and comfortable with view at the surrounding buildings. There was a slight cigarette smell. Check in and check out quite ok. The price was ok for the quality of the room and services.

Hotel for a conference

It was an ok place to stay. The restaurants are expensive, and it was a little too far away from the main streets for food and drinks. The staff had a difficult time with English, but were helpful.

Near to my meeting place but nothing much around

The room condition is good but the attitude of the hotel staff can be better. No very friendly when I check in and generally they do not smile during my 2 days stay there.

A good business hotel

The hotel was clean and modern with helpful staff who spoke good English. The room was large, clean and generally in good condition, although one item of furniture needed to be repaired and had not been. My room was quiet and I slept well. I ate in the restaurant, which was quite good. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot of choice. The only real negative was that it is a little bit out of the way and taxi drivers had problems getting me there on more than one occaision. If you want to walk out of the hotel and do tourist stuff then this may not be the one for you, although taxi's are cheap so it is not really an issue. This hotel is good value. I would stay there again.

物超所值very good price

The hotel is clean , room is big with nice bath and shower , the bed is huge and comfortable . Surprised to have a hotel room at such good price. Staffs are very nice and helpful and the bellboy is very effective. The area is quite and its easy to get a taxi. I stay for a night for business and the restaurant opposite is good , nice food and good price .I highly recommend my friends to stay in this hotel .

Excellent Staff

The staff was amazing. They would walk out to the street and call us a cab while we waited in the lobby, then told the cab driver where we wanted to go in chinese, even looking up our desired destinations online if they did not know exactly where they were. Always opened doors and carried our bags. The room was a little small, but was very new and clean. The only negative about the hotel is that it is too far to walk to the subway. You will need to spend around 16-18 yuan ($2.5-3) for a cab to the nearest subway station (Jinqiao Rd).

Well worth the not great location

Perfect room and service, lovely large bathroom, really good coffee and breakfast, (though many businessmen making loud noises while they eat). In general the only inconvenience is that it's a little far, about 5 dlls away by taxi, each way... but well worth it!

The hotel was located just 2 block from my meeting place, so was very convenient for me. Its easy and convenient to take a taxi to reach other important places, The peoples square, The bund, The maglev station ... The rate was very convenient comparing with other hotels in Shanghai

Excellent Accommodations at Competitive Rates

In the last two weeks we have had family visiting from around the world. For us, the location was very near our Shanghai family. The rate is very competitive with surrounding hotels. We contracted for 7 rooms with a total 15 room nights. Everyone was very happy with the Western amenities of their respective rooms and the provided breakfast buffet was quite good. Billing issues that arose because of reservations made on various websites, including Expedia, were all resolved to our satisfaction. Adjusting credits and debits as required were made in a timely manner. The very helpful staff is fluent in English and helpful, even when very busy. We will most happily stay at this hotel in the future and recommend it to traveling family and friends.

Very Impressed with the Quality, Cleanless and Service

The service was phenomenal and the quality of the room was fantastic If I need to go to any place, I'll asked them and they write the address down in English and Chinese so the taxi and myself would understand.

Extremely quiet

Great hotel for the price.

I stayed at several different hotels around Shanghai and in the Pudong area and this hotel was on of the best for condition and service. Rooms were large enough and clean. Food was good and just close by there are other eating places even a Papa Johns Pizza within walking distance.

Good Hotel, bad location

The hotel is very new, room is clean and comfortable, checking in is fast because there is only a few guest over there, location is far from subway, I took taxi every day.

Will consider again

Hotel is pretty nice and new. Only problem is that it's not very convenient as it's situated away from the shops and transportation, like the train station. Also, there are practically no shopping centres within walking distance from the hotel except for a couple of convenient shops. The nice thing is that there are a few small eating places which is located at the back of the hotel.

翌日早いフライトで、空港からの送迎有とかいてあったのでお願いしましたが、しっかりと有料でした。空港まで30分かかるので、もっと空港の近くに泊まれば良かったです。 回りには飲食店も少なく、ホテルのレストランも明かりが付いていない状態。 設備の古さも感じました。

Ett bra hotell för ett bra pris

Ett bra hotell som ligger 20min bort från centrum med tunnelbana. Personalen på hotellet pratar engelska rätt så flytande och är trevliga samt tillmötesgående. Frukosten var varierad och det fanns mycket att välja på, både västerländskt och asiatiskt. Jag är mycket nöjd!

새벽에 도착해서 보증금을 카드로 결재 했는데, 체크아웃 할때 카드접속이 안된다고 보증금 환급 및 카드취소를 안해주고 수일내로 해준다고 해서 그냥 체크아웃했읍니다.벌써 4일이 지났는데도 아직 처리가 안된듯해요. 혹시 일부러 보증금 환급을 미루는 건지 의심이 갑니다.

適合商務人士，附近有許多製造或電子大廠，若要上海觀光，這裡是郊區，離鬧區很遠。

출장시 자주 가는 호텔. 전반적으로 시설이나 서비스 조식은 괜챤습니다. 주변에 별로 상업시설은 없지만 맞은편에 한식당과 스타벅스 슈퍼 편의점이 있습니다. 택시는 요청하면 잘잡히는 편입니다.

出張で使いました。中国では英語の通じないホテルも多いのですが、フロントが英語OKなので助かりました。部屋も清潔で綺麗だったのですが、エアコンが日本と違って微調整できないため少しストレスになりましたが、これは仕方ないかもしれません。朝食は可もなく不可もなくといったところです。

The air conditioner can only work in the evening, other times it will fix at 26.5 Celsius degree. Besides, the showering water is always out of control (too hot).

Convenient for business travelers working nearby

The hotel is nice and very convenient if you are conducting business in any of the known companies located nearby. The facilities are nice, clean and the staff is helpful but sometimes limited due to their lack of good English (you would expect better level in a 5-star hotel). The rooms are nice, comfortable and very clean. Also, the laundry service is pretty fast and neat, even though it is a bit pricey for Chinese standards. Finally, the food is not bad but very simple and the service in the main restaurant during breakfast is not the best. Many times it was difficult to find forks and the tables were never ready. All in all, it is very recommended if you are doing business nearby. If not, it can be very distanced from the actual attractions of the city.

I just stayed for a day and the room was big enough to accommodate 2 people. but the location was not that good, there was no subway station nearby, so I had no choice but to take a taxi everytime I go out.
