walking distance to Airport.

The staff was so helpful specially Vanessa at the reception. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Spacious room, like the long writing table and just 5 minutes walk from the airport. Will surely come back again.

Late night noise from cleaning staff

Check in was efficient (always good after a long flight) - and check out equally smooth. Main problem was the fact that until 11:30pm staff were deep cleaning the corridor carpets outside my room using a high power and incredibly noisy vacuum cleaner. I had earplugs with me from my flight, but this is just insane.

Renovation required

Too expensive for an ordinary room, the room service took too long, the concierge is rude.. we stayed here bcoz it says free shuttle to airport but then when we asked the concierge she told us to just walk! Really disappointing!

Perfect stay for our layover. It’s in the airport so you don’t need to leave from the airport and just rest for the next flight. The breakfast is amazing! The staff is so helpful and kind. Taxi service is in front of the hotel and the staff is very professional and kind. We will come back again!

I asked for a non smoking room but I almost gagged when I walked into,the room. It stunk more than a pigsty.

Can’t beat the convenience! It’s literally a 5 minute walk after exiting the arrivals hall. Perfect place to stay if you have a late arrival, or early departure. You don’t even need to step outside! Would happily stay here again.

Top notch place to stay on a stop over in Hong Kong, room was great. I stay at nice hotels and this one is very good for convenience and quality of the rooms.

Seamless Stay Right at the Airport

I’ve stayed at Regal Airport Hotel numerous times whenever I travel from Vancouver enroute to Asia, and it continues to be my go-to choice. The direct connection to the airport is incredibly convenient, the rates are very reasonable compared to nearby airport hotels that require additional transportation. For anyone looking for ease, comfort, and value, Regal Airport Hotel is a good choice.

It was really convenient as I need to be at the airport by 5.30am, so I don't worry about the transport how to get there It was only 10 mins walk from hotel to the airport, maybe not even.

Not much option

Room was good, food and customer service was great. Had issue with bathroom, need to have show apart from bathtub only. Otherwise great hotel to stay in.

Excellent airport hotel

The hotel was non smoke when l stayed in December 2018. Unfortunately now it is smoke free in the lobby & restaurants in the ground floor & 1st floors, l am very disappointed about this decision & situation made by the hotel management.

This is the best option for those in transit who don’t want the hassle of transportation off the airport site as it’s attached to the airport with a very short indoor walk. Checkin at 5am was no problem, the room was clean and quiet for a recharge.

Biggest plus is that it is connected to the HK airport. Hotel is on the older side but for the most part it's clean and quiet. It's where I stay if I get in late to HK and have a morning flight the next day

A very convenient hotel for a stop over or a sleep before hitting Hong Kong. Staff were welcoming and pleasant and the room was large with a large and comfortable bed. Everything a little dated but still in working order. Free water for collection down the corridor and the noise from outside was minimal. Due to brief stay we didn’t have time to explore facilities other than for dinner- this was ok but very expensive for what we had. Lots of the hotel restaurants weren’t open when we visited.

Inability to control lighting switches

Everything was great EXCEPT the wall and lamp switches for almost all the lighting were impossible to 1)to understand and 2) to control. I ended up putting a towel and a jacket over the lighting in the closet floor (transparent glass floor and doors) to get the room dark for sleeping. It was very strange.. Removing the key from the slot by the door for the hotel's electricity saving didn't work either.

The hotel is inside the airport which was great. Booked with Ex******** and got a suite with its own garden and 2 double beds.

Very convenient if you need to layover a night. Ten minutes walking to terminal. Can keep luggages up to three days for free. Large rooms. Not ideal for long stay because transportation is costly and take longer. Highly recommend this hotel for layover.

The property is in very good shape although perhaps a bit dated. Connected to the Hong Kong airport which makes it extremely easy for a one or two night layover. You can walk inside, directly to the hotel. Rooms are a nice size and clean. If you want to explore "downtown" Hong Kong you can take the Airport Express which is about 45 minutes to Victoria. Get a train card that can also be used in the restaurants etc. It's a bit pricey but worth it. I definitely stay here before headed to mainland. If visiting HK for more than a day or two, you may want to only stay one night in and one night out.

The Regal Airport Hotel was very easy to locate, it's not far from Arrivals Hall A and there is a covered walkway from the airport to the hotel. There was lots of staff at the check-in counters and Ingrid helped us check-in very efficiently. The room was spacious and roomy, I was half expecting a tiny room. I was slightly confused at how to adjust the lighting and air conditioning but managed to locate a control panel next to the bed. I only stayed 1 night but thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stay overnight when you have connections in HK, so easy to take the Train into the centre of HK fit food and shopping

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from HKG arrival.

Best option for late arrival at Hong Kong airport or overnight before an early flight. Exit at left side, near to Pret a Manger fast food. Super convenient, old property but well equipped. Easy arrival or departure to Macau or Zhuhai through HZMB Hong Kong port. Best way for travel to west pearl river cities including Guangzhou.

Older property, but can’t beat the convenience. Be sure to ask for Wi-Fi password when you register. Outlets in the room are limited so ask for an adapter when you check in.

PLUS: Regal Hotel is very convenient for HK Airport. MINUS: Info and instructions should be much clearer. You have to leave the airport through immigration as you disembark, do not go to transfer channel. I wasn't the only person to get stuck in the airport for hours, trying to get help in getting to hotel. PLUS: Once through immigration, it's a very easy undercover walk to hotel. MINUS: The hotel is expensive for what it offers. The pool didn't open at 8am as advertised.

First, they charged a 3% after hotel.com charged about 10%. Secondly, the hot water pot didn’t work well; no cellphone charging near the bed. Inside looks old and not very clean.

Overnight stay before the flight- very convenient a short walk from Terminal 1, signs everywhere, can’t get lost, easy check in, staff accommodating all our special requests, nicely decorated building, convenient shuttle buses to Train station and shopping, very nice restaurants besides hotel- same building, walls are thin - we heard everything in neighbours room and lights in room not bright, overall we enjoyed our stay - exceptional staff very attentive and convenient location

Over night stay in HK

Stayed in this hotel for overnight. The location is great - which just right next to the airport with direct access from the arrival hall. The room condition is slightly out of date, carpet had some marks and same as the wall. The room is quite big and bed is comfortable. They provided shuttle bus to the nearby MTR station which is a bonus! Overall, I will recommended this hotel for those only stay for overnight for shower and comfortable bed.

The property is very dated. We could not find the light switches and had to unscrew a bulb to turn the lights off. The location at the airport is very convenient.

No sleep

Bed was rock hard which made sleeping difficult, we would not stay again even though the location is excellent.

It’s a very aged hotel with a very strong smell may be due to the old carpet, no air circulation and lefts are very far away which make it very difficult to reach with baggages

I am impressed! Aside from the fact that it is just walking distance from the airport, it has gym,swimming pool,great hot breakfast and clean room!

A mall salad and a beer cost $40usd and the buffet was $60usd. Prices like a sporting event or concert.

It’s attached to the airport so you can walk there with your luggage in tow or on one of the free luggage trolleys (yes, American airports, there are still places that don’t try to squeeze every dime out of every amenity). The Receptionists were very pleasant and the check-in was very fast. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and best of all, with all of the air traffic outside, this place is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. I slept like a baby on the oversized King bed and never heard a sound outside of my room. This is an excellent hotel - especially if you are transiting and not intending to go into town.

The Hotel was super convenient & easy to find, attached to the airport! Check In was easy & efficient! The bed was super comfortable & the room & bathroom very clean, shower was nice & hot! Perfect for a layover!

The room is very well equipped and spacious. There is a big gym with lots of equipment. The swimming pool was adequate. Only wish I was staying longer than one night. It is literally connected to airport arrivals and you can walk back into the airport after dropping luggage off to have food and shopping

My room doesn’t have the USB charger , because some people may not have the switch for the outlet. Everything else is good.

If you are expecting a five star airport hotel, this is not for you. This property is a solid 3-stars all day long. I do not know why they advertise a 5-star rating? - for such misleading marketing I have marked them down on this review as customer satisfaction is generally based upon expectation vs. delivery. The airport location is fantastic, however that’s where great expectations should end. It’s quite a worn and tired property. The bed linens/pillows are not five star, the bathroom & towels are not five star, there are no five star amenities - no razor / vanity kit / mouthwash etc are provided … although two small Tetrapak bottles of water are given for free. The bathroom is below par and the shared tub/shower combination with very short screen door means water gets everywhere. You would never want to enjoy a bath here. There’s only two very thin bath towels provided (not five star); The iron (with calc) and ironing board are very old and you need to use caution on expensive garments (not five star). Please can someone adjust the rating for this property as it’s very, very far from five stars? I really don’t understand how this hotel has won any awards whatsoever - except for proximity to HKIA, in which case it is 5-star. There are many, many better options at HKIA if you don’t mind a free shuttle bus or $24 HKD ($4 USD) / 5 min taxi ride.

It’s amazing to go to this Regal after staying at the Regal Hong Kong hotel. OMG want a difference. It’s so much cleaner. It’s a true five star. One my favorite hotels of all time.

On the airport property, so super convenient for those with early flights! Express train to downtown very convenient as well, to go and see the sights, as well as find your new favorite dim sum place!

Perfect stay for short layovers, just a 5 min walk from Terminal 1, and easy access to trains - 30 mins to Kowloon. Very good breakfast. Staff very kind and helpful.

Quick stay after our International flight

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Hong Kong before going over to Mainland China. This is a convenient hotel to stay at after arriving from an International flight. Breakfast was worth buying for the next morning.
